2017-05-02 06:15:34My girl loves grits and this place has 4 stars are grits in the name so we went to try it. Very good decision. I walked by a table that had ordered the $34 short rib and it looked good but that was too pricey for me to spend on breakfast so I didnt get it. We got the bone marrow waffles as a starter. Holy crap on a cracker that is so damn good! Then I got pork belly Benny from the servers recommendation. Its pork belly and poached eggs on jalapeno cheese grits. It was really good too. My girl got the regular grits with an egg and she really liked that as well. They also offer a good selection of beers and alcohol. Bottomless mimosas for $15. Well be back for brunch. Our server Cassie was awesome.

2018-07-17 00:31:00Delicious food! The folks working here are awesome too. My friend and I had the Oreo Pancake balls, bone marrow and waffles, and the chorizo shrimp and grits. The serving size of each dish was good enough for us to share. The menu is seasonal and I wamt to try their dinner menu, so Ill definitely be back in the future!

2018-07-18 16:27:26Ambience was great! Music was eclectic selection of rock from Hendrix to Weezer. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Great low key weekday brunch. Bottomless mimosas are great and cheaper then most competitors nearby. Restrooms are outside and i believe communal for the strip so that may be a negative when crowded. Wasnt an issue for me or my female companion. Food was good. Price was right. Needs more vegan and vegetarian options though.

2018-03-29 15:20:54Food is great, and the staff is friendly and fun. We went on a weekday for lunch, and there was no wait. I had the breakfast burrito, and my coworkers had the pork belly benny and fried chicken with country gravy. Each dish was $13-14 and filling-- I took part of my burrito to-go. The interior has good vibes.

2017-08-28 22:00:33The menu here is a seasonal menu so it changes every so often. Came here for a late breakfast on a Wednesday morning and it was very quite and nice. Our waitress was super polite and awesome. The food was delicious. I had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. Only complaint, there was not enough gravy to soak through the biscuit. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

2017-12-09 17:58:53Gourmet looking but average tasting food. I think the chef has no access to salt and pepper. Sadly neither do the customers! The eggs Benedict with pork belly and grits was rather flavorless. The pancake balls are not crispy nor hot, and theyre rather dense. The potatoes that come with hollandaise and bacon pieces was good, and next time Im just going to order those with some poached eggs on top. The coffee was good.

2018-06-10 15:41:43So good! My boyfriend and I searched breakfast places in Fullerton and went with Grits Fullerton, and we are not mad about it! Absolutely delicious and the wait staff was great. Our waitress recommended the bone marrow and waffles and it is to die for! We plan on coming back soon. We got there around 9:30 am on a Saturday and it wasnt too crowded, but by the time we left, it was starting to fill up. Get there early if you can!!

2018-01-02 05:15:40I usually dont like fried food but their fried chicken stack was actually very good. Overall their foods were very delicious. There were little things like poached eggs over cooked, not runny at all, and utensils not clean. Their sangria is good. We got here around 11am and had to wait about 45mins. But their food was worth of wait.

2018-03-18 18:40:06Great service and great food for brunch! Came for breakfast here pretty early in the day when their doors opened. My friend and I were waiting for more of our party to arrive and our waitress was so nice and accommodating as we took up space inside the restaurant. We shared their waffle and bone marrow for the table. It was delicious, though a little overwhelming! They definitely serve the good stuff and the bones were definitely filled with a lot of marrow.I had their pork belly breakfast, which I believe was a special that day. Also delicious.

2017-10-26 17:44:05My experiences with Grits leave me wanting to give this place a one star, and sometimes, a five star rating.Expect a wait time, and not a short one. 30 minutes or more every time I have gone. Im sure if you arrive and are the first people there in the morning, there will still be a 30 minute wait. This is okay, its a popular place. Except every time I get seated, I look around and see empty tables. Why are they not filling the place? Im not sure the wait staff or kitchen can handle too many orders..Staff is always friendly and helpful, except for the one time. More about that later. They always seem to be rushing around and sweating. They work pretty hard. The wait time to get your food is surprisingly short, once you put in your order. Around 10 minutes. Which makes me wonder, why is there always a long wait time for this place? If the staff is moving quickly, and the food comes quick, people can be in and out faster, right? For the food, its amazing. Its the reason youve heard about this place and are trying it. The fried chicken is crispy and cooked perfectly, the waffles are flavorful and light, and the jalapeño grits, are just amazing. Except for the one time where the food wasnt great. This way many months ago, the girlfriend and I sat down to eat, after a long wait, and ordered right away. I dont remember what she had, but I do remember I ordered the Pork Belly Benny. It sounded good, and I couldnt wait to try it.Food comes, looks amazing. I go to dig in, and its barely warm, kind of cold in spots. Im hungry, and I hate to complain. But I realized the pork just isnt right. Its a bit under cooked. Should have been cooked to medium, but is medium rare to rare. It doesnt taste that good, and is ungodly chewy. Like chewing on a piece for 3 minutes and have to spit it back out. That doesnt seem like its proper pork belly.I decided to complain to the waiter, who was friendly up to this point. And he gets defensive and decides to argue with me that the pork is cooked right and it is not chewy. Huh? How does he know? Who argues with the customer on whether they like something? Isnt the right thing to do is apologize and offer to take it back, or make another dish? But instead, he argued with me that its made the way it should be... He had no other answer or solution for me.
