This is the first place I go when Im grocery shopping. I can find almost anything I need, and what they dont have I can get elsewhere. I appreciate that all the employees are always very friendly and helpful. I prefer this store because they make me feel like family. Every person that works here always have a smile.

Great for travelers. They have plenty of screw top wine, since no corkscrews are allowed on airplanes. Especially welcome is the large selection of vegetarian frozen entrees. Keeps me out of expensive restaurants when traveling for business!

I was just at Grocery Outlet. None of the regular checkers were there. The customer two ahead of me had an issue with his purchase and our line (1) wasnt moving. They opened lane 5 but I stayed. Then new butthead opened lane 2 and called for the next customer in line. By now Ive been standing for about 10 minutes. New butthead says Im not next in line the other lady is but she asked me if I was in line and then went to another line. I went back to lane 1 and he kept saying I wasnt next. So now I lost my place in line and lane 1 still isnt moving. By now Ive had enough and I leave to which he says Oh nice attitude. I dont know if I will ever go back to this store again.

Grocery Outlet has become more of a regular place the shop for groceries than they were in the old days. 25-years-ago most of the store was bargains and it was a little less of a regular grocery store than today. Now a days, you have to look but you can find the weird selection of food from weird places that are typically rejected for some reason from the regular stores. I bought Cherries here and they were half the price of Costco but they where all mutant double cherries. They tasted fine and this is part of the charm of some of the weird things youll find here. I was happy to find one in Crescent City to grab a couple of things before heading down the coast.

Grocery Outlet is not exactly a five-star experience under any circumstances. It is, as it says, an outlet. The items here are a little closer to the expiration date and you can never be sure what they will have. However, you can also find fantastic deals. For instance, I found the sugar-free vegan yogurt I like for a 98 cents a carton. In the health food store it cost $2.29. I have to take points off for this particular store, though. The produce I bought was moldy within 2 days. If you dont get to eat the food, then its not exactly a bargain! LOL. Overall, if you havent discovered grocery outlet, check it out!

Great pricing with special sales that cannot be passed up. The trick is to get as much of those special finds as can be afforded because it might be a one time offer. Limited selection of certain items. Something as pedestrian as Swiss cheese might be hard to come by at times. Also has some household items. My favorite place to cruise the isles slowly looking for great buys.

Editing my comment because I was just denied help loading groceries by a new employee, who said due to Covid restrictions they are unable to help load your groceries if you bring your own bags. I told her Im disabled and they do help me, she said it was against policy.So the sign on the door says you can enter without a mask if youre vaccinated, I can count the masks in the store, and without vaccination records you can bet customers dont care.All stores returned to allowing you to BYOBags, Im not sure why this store is holding on.I collected plastic bags for 2 years, Im done. Im really discouraged by your policy. The cashier offered to help when customers started backing up, I said no. She kept checking people out who just went around me.I did try to call and waited on hold for 7 minutes. I sincerely hope you give your employees some ADA training, the behavior is illegal and ableist. I was very embarassed.There are currently no restrictions about bringing bags in stores. This is on you.By the way, if you were concerned for Covid safety, I WAS wearing a mask ;-)Some of the hardest working and kind employees. Though the store could definitely use a face lift, its a fun place to get items you might not have access to. Not our go to for fresh vegetables, but we save a lot on organic and natural foods here.

Produce is the best deal. Scared to buy the fresh meat. Tried 2 frozen prepared meals that were terrible. Chicken described as breasts but were dark meat pounded into patties. Name brand canned goods are fine. Baked goods (3) were good. Prices great, just watch what you buy.

I love this Grocery Outlet! The Crescent City store has changed my mind in regards to discount produce. Ive been frequenting Grocery Outlets all over California since the early 90s. Selection, fresh produce and meats all at the same quality as other bigger grocery chains, Ive actually made this grocer my primary. OH YEAH! The Cashiers always very friendly.

Grocery Outlet is a statewide grocery store chain. Honestly, I dont know how far they reach.The cashiers are great! Some of the equipment is a little out of date, which slows down the whole checkout process.The prices here are usually significantly lower than the other two chain stores.All in all, its a pretty good place to stop for cold soda and traveling snacks! (Traveling snacks is not a bad thing!)

Seemingly small location but there is usually plenty to offer for my shopping needs. On my last visit, I did a price comparison between Grocery Outlet, Safeway, and Walmart on about two dozen common, essential home items. Nearly every item was most affordable at Grocery Outlet over the other two. This locations fresh produce is in great shape, too!

This place has some of the best deals Ive ran across in a long time. The selection is pretty random, so if you need something specific then maybe its not the right place but if you go with an opportunistic attitude then youre going to walk away with some deals that you just wont find elsewhere.

Ive never reviewed a grocery store before LOL, but I really liked this place - probably since Im visiting from Florida and not used to California availability of good food! You can get local cheese, milk etc organics but not at whole paycheck type price. Also fresh fruit very good deals, just doesnt seem to last as long so only buy what need for next few days. I love taking my time in Grocery Outlet and looking for bargains. Im away camping for a couple of weeks, and today I found some exotic healthy chocolate, Kind snack bars, gourmet salsa, and other snack foods.Like they say: Shop with us first. The reason they have great prices is because many gourmet companies know they can get rid of their overstock without disturbing their other retailers. Safeways shoppers dont go to Grocery Outlet. :)

Bad? They charge for plastic bags and bottled or canned drinks you buy. Good? They charge. Helps promote more environmental awareness for the resources we use. I got my hands on a 1.69 box of organic cereal (though it sucks flavor wise) but it was a steal. Coconut was quite good considering they had to transport it. Was some legit young Thai coconut considering it was grocery outlet! Anyways watch out for the puddles in the parking lot if its raining. Checker also was helpful and mindful. Good snack place but if you want bulk items or lots of fresh fruits and veggies look elsewhere. Good for some staples though like bananas and potatoes.

I went here for the first time in a long time recently. Its not very consistent with the products they carry but you cant beat the prices. Last item I found a great deal on was their unsweetened Tampico tea for $.99 a gallon and the 3 packs of Nori seaweed snacks for $.99. They sometimes have this cheese called Holland Gouda that gives parmesan and asiago a run for its money.

I saw this young man working in multiple areas of the store, stocking and replenishing merchandise, and then helping to service customers by ringing up their groceries quickly and efficiently. Honestly the walmart has better prices on some of this stuff, which is unusual. Walmart has half gallon non-dairy milks for as little as $2.57, others I saw went up to $2.97 - is it worth the gas to drive over to that dump? Probably not. The grocery outlet does have great sales and overall great prices though. When the non-dairy milks are are about to expire or have expired, the price cant be beat. Frozen fruit prices arent bad but the selection last time I was there was pitiful. Actually they seemed to be out of nearly everything on my grocery list, major let down since gas is outrageous. Travel 25 minutes north and gas is 64 cents cheaper. $3.85 vs $3.21 . Their NOSH section leaves much to be desired.. Maybe there are a few wealthy people living in the area but most people arent going to buy a lot of that stuff, tiny bags of dried mulberries and other goofy fad super foods. Keep it simple and give us hemp, Chia, and quinoa at a reasonable price. Other whole grains like brown rice. Non-dairy milks, healthier cereals, moms it eh- we dont want to consume canola oil and we definitely dont want to give it to children. Organic nuts would be cool too. You have enormous sections of meat and cheese, which may be where you make the most money, but get with the health science and protect your customers- that stuff causes cancer! The WHO says processed meat causes cancer, no doubt about it. Regular meat is probably carcinogenic. Idk about you but I dont want to eat probable carcinogens. Dairy is linked to a whole bunch of health issues including joint inflammation, allergies, obesity, breast and prostate cancers. The slow suffering suicide fad wont be profitable forever.
