Just took my 1st visit to Gyros & More and lets just say...NOW ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES!💫 I ordered the Super Gyros w/fries and extra pitas breed for me and my hubby. We couldnt wait till we got home to eat because the food smelled SuperB. I highly recommend the Super Gyro because once we took a bite, the taste of the lamb was so tender and immaculate with the Tzatziki, fresh lettuce and tomato. Paired with the Pita Bread and Fries this meal was devine. I will definitely be visiting again.😋

Zero stars. I ordered from this place and their prices are extremely expensive. I spent $2.99 on a drink just to get a cup full of ice. Their chicken gyro is dry and is probably coked for more than a week before. Their French fries are ALWAYS uncooked. Go to someplace that makes good fresh food not a place where they don’t care about the quality of their food

I had a great Mother’s Day early dinner here. I ordered the classic gyro salad and the chipotle hummus! Everything was super tasty and hit the spot! I’m in town for a month for work and I’m so happy I found this gem! I’ll definitely return to try some other things on the menu. The staff was also very friendly which I appreciated. Raina, Joseph, and Martin all checked on me and made sure everything was good! Also, I didn’t have to wait long at all to order or eat! I was craving fresh veggies and I was completely satisfied! The portions were also way bigger than what I was expecting! 😋 🤙🏾 💕

Ive had better, but not bad at all. Gyros were good, but fell apart as we ate them to oblivion. This can be a positive. Overall good foods. Due to Covid not a sit downed. Nice people, I think the owner as well. Keep up the good food. As always, post what you get the cravings for. No pics, I ate the before pics.

We have ordered food delivery from here before but today is my first time coming in for a meal. I thought it was good when I had it before, but having now dined here with everything super fresh and with the friendly service… it’s even better! The best Mediterranean Food in Turlock by far. Everything is always fresh, Ive never had a bad meal here. Their Salads are always crisp and chilled with all the veggies and Calamata Olives. We have been eating here since they opened, they were good then and got even better when the business changed hands. The service is excellent, the owners are very sweet people. Highly recommended.

My favorite spot in entire Turlock . Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and of course the food and decent variety of beverages . My most favorite is kabab. You need to try it with 805 . I have always come here and had good experiences getting the same meal. I ask for rice inside of my pita sandwich which they have done in the past, this time they said they have never done that before and refused to do it this time for some reason. I used to love this place but they can’t put rice in a pita sandwich now? The owner said she is there every single day so there’s no way that I’ve ever ordered that which is false. Weird.

Im never going back here, Ive never tasted such bad food before, what they show in menu and pictures is an exaggeration. Ordered a Fish bowl and egg roll, got the worst fish ever with excess oil🤢🤮. To get over the bad taste, I ordered a Koobideh skewer which was still bad. Wasted around $30. To get over the bad taste I had to get get a rice bowl from panda express next door.😪😪😪🤧

We got falafel plate and sandwich, so I can’t speak about the meats but what we did get was bland, dry and under seasoned “Mediterranean” food. Both the rice and the fries were disappointing and the salad was even worse, as it had no dressing or seasoning at all. Falafel were ok but I wouldn’t go back for them. Also the prices were outrageous especially considering the poor quality of the food. In addition to all that, I was asked if I wanted to make the sandwich a combo and I declined saying I would only get a side of fries but no drink. I was still charged for the combo, at which point I just asked for my drink since they’re charging me for it anyway. I specifically asked if the sandwich had any dairy and they said no, no cheese, no dairy just hummus. It did have hummus but it also had a yogurt sauce — dairy. Won’t be returning here.

Last minute today we decided it was hot and didn’t want to cook, so we opted to go here. We’ve been before, but we don’t eat out often so it’s been awhile!From the time we walked in the door, everyone was so nice. Hubby and I haven’t been back here for quite some time and decided to come here for lunch today and found out there were new owners. I don’t think we’ll be coming back here any time soon. 1) they changed the drinking cups (plastic and smaller size), 2) no tea, 3) price increased 4) no greek salad but prepackaged regular salad, 6) they used saffron rice as a topping or garnish on top of the regular basmati rice and 6) they serve the food in tin trays like bbq restaurants. Seriously?? It kept reminding me of being back in high school, eating from a tray. I gave this place 2 stars because their gyro meat still tasted good but that’s it. Hubby was disappointed due to the lack of greeting when we entered or when we left. It’s missing that welcoming feeling we’re used to from the previous owner. The super gyro was really good but the expensive rice plate was very disappointing. The chicken was vey dry and hard to eat. Both the rice and chicken were tasteless. Half of the plate was an extremely plain salad. Definitely not worth the price for that plate when I could go to Nami No and get grilled veggies, flavorful tender chicken, and delicious saffron rice for a similar price.

I just called to make a carry out order. The hours say they close at 8 pm, and they cant accommodate me because they shut down the grill at 7:45 pm....Then maybe make your hours say close at 7:45. Also, when I called it wasnt even 7:45. Why even answer the phone if you claim you already closed before the specified hours?? I love Mediterranean food, and they lost a customer.

The customer service here is horrible. The people working the register and in the kitchen are rude, impatient and extremely unprofessional. I went in there attempting to purchase food and give them my business and they made me feel very unwelcomed. It was my very first time ever in the restaurant and I was asking them questions about the menu and the girl at the register was being very condescending and tried to make me feel dumb for not knowing exactly what goes in the food. I wanted to try something new and now I will never go back. If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. Save your money and take your business to a restaurant who actually values customer service and appreciates new business.

The gyro and fries were perfect. It’s hard to find good gyros where the meat is tasty and juicy, and the pita is warm and slightly crispy, with the perfect amount of chew. Got the extra meat and it was worth it. And free WiFi.Can’t wait to come back to Turlock.

Its tough to find an authentic gyro in most regions of the U.S. but these guys rock! Best Ive had since I left salt lake city...fyi. if you ever find yourself in Salt Lake City you can basically stop anywhere and get a gyro thats phenomenal.. but in California youre not going to find it anywhere but here.

The meat is delicious, the owners are so friendly and warm. They make you feel like family. The portions are hefty and the price ... Not overly exorbitant. The interior could use some work but thats not why there are four stars instead of five. The one and only reason is that the tzatziki is lacking in flavor. This is surprising as I believe the owners ARE Greek. If you are Greek youll what I am talking about when you taste it. It lacks that fresh cucumbery,(is that a word.. Lol), taste that traditional tzatziki has. Oops just one other thing... The onions are very mild. Im use to the strong onion and garlic flavors that Greek food is known for. It makes me wonder if they dumded it down for the mainstream American tastebuds. Personally, Im partial to authentic Greek flavors. Sorry for the novel, just go, but bring your own tzatziki and onions.
