Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ in Beverly Hills

Pretty good Japanese bbq. I had the lunch combo which was a great price and deal.Beef Toro was the stand-out dish.Broccoli was under-rated. Had a very nice barbecue flavor.The spicy pork was unbelievablely spicy, a bit unbearable.Would recommend.

Super tasty place to come for dinner with friends or dates.Portions are not always big for the cost, but you can walk away happy depending on what you like.Their sauces are tasty and product fresh.Service is very helpful and informative.No wifi.Bathrooms are clean and well kept.Parking can be challenging depending on the time of day you visit.Make reservations in advance if you want to avoid lines during dinner rush!Highly recommend their duck and seasoned meats on the grill.Big portions of hot sake for a good price!

First time trying this place. We opted for the meal for 2 and it was more than enough food. The marinated pork was the highlight. A fun place to eat and hang with friends and family.

I love Gyu-Kaku and the food is always amazing. However, my experience in this location was horrible. Yesterday (10/01/2021), we had reservation at 12:30pm, got a table right away since it was not busy yet. We ordered lunch specials (miso soup, salad, rice and 3 kind of meats). We got our soup at 1:10pm, after a while our salad and 6 kind of meats finally arrived. I had to turn on the stove myself since our server (David) was MIA. We didn’t get some rice so we had to ask the food runner to get it (she was very nice). Our drinks were empty and we had to ask the host to call our server. Unfortunately, there was a bug inside my drink and it was hard to find our server so we had to ask the host to get another one. Our server was finally back from MIA after we almost finished our food. We wanted to get dessert but since he was nowhere to be found we decided to ask for our check. Host and food runner gave us outstanding service but our server was terrible. We came out from the restaurant unhappy.

I went with the most expensive all you can eat option and did not regret it. 5 stars for food quality, service, options, and over all a great time.Going in the middle of the day meant I didnt have to wait long for a table. I felt the service was attentive and prompt, which meant I was never lacking.If youre a fan of a straight meat experience, I recommend this place.

First time here with my boyfriend, he’s Japanese and this was our first date having Japanese BBQ, we got the All You Can Eat option. Most recently the Latest photos are of the $25 lunch special! First few photos are the 2 for $55 Happy Hour Special which is pictured. All of the food was delicious from; beef tongue, shrimp, to garlic chicken, yasai(veggies), pork rib, to s’mores and green tea ice ream! I’ve been on keto but enjoyed all the meats, yasai, and we enjoyed the green tea ice cream as well. We thought everything was so good. So 5 stars but when we did UberEats the food was terrible, our 3rd inside visit the food was delicious! We’d definitely visit again! I didn’t take much pics but the desert! Others are videos!

Going here is always a fun time. The food is good, and I love the salad with egg. Only recommendation I would have is that they cut down on all the menus. I think last we were there they handed us 4 or 5 menus.

Loved it!The meat was tasty, tender and we are Korean bbq fans who are now switching over to Japanese bbq. Great service, great prices for the quality and quantity, perfect for a date night or night out with friends. 5 stars

Food and plum wine is exceptional! The chicken Karaage has my heart! The staff is wonderful and so kind! Couldnt recommend this place enough. pls go.
