The service here was outstanding, especially given how much our party of 5 ordered during our 90 minute all-you-can-eat timeframe. Our waiter was definitely overworked, and even had to make our drinks on top of bringing the food, but he stayed friendly, attentive, and was all around amazing. The food here is absolutely delicious, especially the harami steak. It was so good I forgot to take pictures as it came out! Definitely will be back in the future for sure.

What a great little gem of a place for a date night. The quality of the meats is outstanding and the service was beyond great. The all you can eat selection really delivered a variety of different foods to try. There is a 90 minute sitting limitation but we were able to eat in less than 90 minutes and we had all you can eat. My favorite dish was the garlic fried rice and the skirt steak. I highly recommend if you like all you can eat barbecue places this is the place to go. I will definitely be back.

Made a reservation for 7 and got in no problem. I was greeted upon arrival and the server was very pleasant and did a wonderful job. The food was flavorful and the ramen was hot and delicious. My Shirley Temple was room temperature and that was unpleasant but otherwise it was a good dinner and a nice visit. A reservation is probably a good idea especially for the weekend and it can be loud in there but the ventilation is good.

We walked in and didnt have to wait more than 15 minutes to be seated. Good portions very tasty food and not bad for the price. The good thing is you dont have to eat every last bite of every dish. They are very attentive.

First time having KBBQ in Santa Clarita and it will definitely be our last 👎🏼. The meat/side options are insane compared to what you get offered in the valley. Our bill was over $100 for 2 people with no crazy add ons. I could have driven to Gen for their lunch special of $20 per person and had over 25 meat selections. It might be a little far but I would drive to Northridge or panorama for KBBQ. The quality and quantity is by far worth. This place is a huge NO!!

Delicious. Spent $50 or so for the mid tier all you can eat. Service was fast. We ate outside for the unlimited happy hour. $4 for 6 sake shots, $25 for a beer keg that fills about 8 mugs. Overall this place is a great value if you do it right.

I love this place for their happy hour! They have of course a happy hour menu that’s not bad you can find meals from 10$ up to 15$. But you need to ask for their super happy hour menu on that you’ll find items 50% off ( from meet to veggies. House sake🍶 under 4$, Hot or Cold you pick 😊. Service is good waiters are friendly and in case you don’t know what to eat ask they always help.

Had the spicy kalbi ramen 🌶🍜, wakame seaweed salad 🥗 and melon ramune🍈. The broth has a nice flavor and the spicy is really mild. My daughter can only handle salsa from el pollo loco or maybe hot cheetos so for her to even confirm that this isnt spicy at all I think its safe to say anyone or kid can handle this.

First time here and it was great! The only negative was, it was a little sticky and towards the end of our meal our waitress took a little longer to come around. But the kids ate it up & so did we. Will definitely come back. Its similar to Korean BBQ in the cooking your own meat at the table, but everything else is different. Sides, apps, sauces. Delicious!

The best Japanese BBQ place in Santa Clarita. The meat was marinated with this special sauce that when you start grilling it, the smell was so amazing and when you eat it, it just melts in your mouth. Our top 5 meat 🍖 were the Toro Beef, Yaki Shabu beef, Umakara Beef, Angus beef rib, & spicy Pork, its best paired with their garlic fried rice. The service was great too, I highly recommend this place to try and see for yourself.

Yummy food, so much fun to grill the meats and veggies yourself! Have tried several cuts of meat and appetizers with my friends, loved it all!!! My favorite is the kobe beef and filet mignon. Gyu Kaku recently changed their menu. The kids meal went from would never buy to perfect. My kids really enjoyed the new menu and activities. The food is always good here. There are definitely certain tables where the burner isnt the best and that can ruin your night but theres a lot they can do to try to fix it. Harami skirt steak is the best. The bibimbaps are amazing. The avacado salad is also super delicious. Bring a friend and have a long meal and talk. There arent many places in Valencia that foster an environment that encourages interaction with the people you are eating with quite like this. And always get some smores to round out your meal!

Fist time here from a recommendation from a friend for all you can eat. Waited 50 mins to be seated which I didn’t mind since we didn’t make a reservation. Once we got seated, our waitress said they are no longer doing all you can eat and last call was 1h30m away. Which was plenty of time. So we asked again and they still refused to provide us with the all you can eat service while they still have the menu and option on display outside the restaurant. Please let us know that before we waited 50mins that the all you can eat will not be served at a certain time

This is a decent place to eat at svc, its one of a few Asian BBQs in it. Its rather small, as in everything is compacted as much as possible but still its alright.The meat was good quality however stay away from the bacon chips, those were uh, to be nicely not edible. There were a few small cuts of meat that didnt cook well but I can understand where they want to save money.I would recommend this place as a first date type of place or a place to bring 3 others. But I wouldnt recommend it to a small family to have a quiet meal.The only big downside is that the service is slow at times. Trying to pack as many people as possible in a small area makes it hard for servers to make sure you are taken care of.

So we got seated at 2:50pm and by 3:15pm not one person came by to even ask for drinks or offer water. Multiple servers just walked by us throughout the time we were seated and waiting. My husband and I always love coming here every other weekend to the point even the staff recognize this. My biggest complaint is the dessert. I ordered the Matcha Tiramisu today and what I got was inedible and completely frozen with freezer burn still on the sides. Before this, the last 2 or 3 Taiyaki would always come back still cold in the middle. I once had to send it back 3 separate times because it just wasnt cooked enough for the middle to even be warm. We still love coming but Im giving up on ordering the desserts since the quality has gone downhill for them. It hurts my heart because I love the Taiyaki but it makes me feel like a Karen having to send it back 2 or 3 times only to give up and eat it lukewarm.

Food was so good that we almost eat our plates 😂COVID-19 measures - Good: They measure your temperature on entrance. Tables are outside, but quite close one to each other, so your chair touches the chair of person behind you, not cool. All personal wears masks.Service - Good: They have only a few tables so its better to reserve one upfront, but on some days they accept walk-ins before 5pm. They accept only cards (No Cash). Overall service was fast, and empty plates were cleaned from our table almost immediately.One of us have an allergy for a garlic, they replaced all garlic items with alternatives or placed the sauce on the side, no problem.Food - Excellent: Weve got a more expensive (out of two) first timers combo, and even it was a lot for two, we ate Everything! The meat was great! As well as starters (their kimchi is amazing! Food is always delicious here. My favorites are the Sukiyaki bibimbap, house salad, spicy tuna volcano and of course all the meats. Staff is also friendly and attentive. I just wish they would open the patio for seating again. Ever since covid, I go everywhere with my dog now so we can only visit here on special occasions when we have a dog sitter. I also miss their lunch specials, those were superb deals. Regardless I still highly recommend treating yourself here every so often.

Delicious Japanese BBQ! Have visited several times and the food and service are consistently great every time. The atmosphere is great and it doesnt get too smoky inside like some cook your own food places do. I have done both indoor and outside dining and prefer outside just for the fresh air. They also offer mega mugs of beer which we definitely enjoy! I definitely recommend the spicy tuna volcanos, garlic noodles, gyoza, yaki-shabu beef, and toro beef. Dont forget happy hour!

Unsanitary! Your hostess should not be wiping the tops of the condiment bottles with the filthy rag she used to clean the top of the counter. The rag was visibly disgusting. Also waited 45 minutes for a table that should not be jammed next to the entrance. People opening and closing it every other minute. We’re getting blasted with freezing air. We were so excited to eat here and we had to leave after waiting so long without even looking at the menu because we were so disgusted and cold.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at a restaurant. One time it took hostess 15 minutes to tell me that wait was over an hour and a half. Not sure what she was trying to see in the system for that long to give me a simple answer. Another time person in front of me was told 15-25 min wait and then I was told 50 minutes. I thought I was mistaken and had to re-ask. They really dont know if they are coming or going in that place.

Three of us ordered the Beyond Bibimbap Bowl. Weve had this dish before from the Sherman Oaks location and loved it. It really missed the mark here. The menu photos (and our memory of this dish) show it served with white rice laced over the toppings. In this case we were served what seemed like fried rice with so little of anything else in it. Theres an option to order double of the Beyond meat which we didnt do because, again, weve had this dish before from the other location and felt it wasnt necessary. In this case, the Beyond meat was such a non-presence in all three of our bowls. There was so little of it...and in fact so little of anything else but the rice...hardly any mushrooms, the onions had some presence. And it just plain didnt taste good...This location should examine there own menu photos of what this dish should look like and provide at least a noticeable presence of the main ingredient thats in the title of the dish.Also the edame side we got was very overcooked. Our kid who devours edamame said how do they screw up edamame. We dont know son, they just did.The vegetable spring rolls werent bad, the miso soup too...but the Beyond Bibimbap Bowl which is one of only 2 vegetarian mains on their menu was just terrible and has turned us off from trying this location again.

The only thing even remotely good about my experience here was the friendly service. The food on the other hand.... disgusting. If you’re going to put other items on a menu that’s trying to resemble Korean bbq then make sure it’s just as good. My boyfriend and I got the garlic noodles.... more like salt msg noodles... with veggies. Now with the veggies being my (meat) I would have expected a good portion. Absolutely not . Very minute veggies and not even a good selection either. They must be cheap when it comes to produce because of all the money they spend on meat, I guess. Also got a veggie rice dish that had a horrible horrible after taste. The only thing that was tolerable were the veggie egg rolls. I had spent all day at 6 flags and then I came here and it completely ruined our day. The next day I was suffering from the worst stomach cramps and restroom issues. This place needs seriously step their game up!!!!! It wasn’t worth the $50 I spent at all .

Had an amazing time with my friends here, since the vibe of this place just made everything come together. This place will be forever on my list of top Asian restaurants. Just received an order via Uber Eats and contacted the restaurant immediately regarding the quality of one the items we ordered which was inedible because of the amount of salt added to the dish. The manager dismissed me and said there was nothing she could do because we ordered from Uber Eats and we would have to go through Uber Eats to resolve the issue. Uber Eats is not responsible for food preparation and there is nothing they can do to correct a food quality issue. The manager’s response was unacceptable and my family will not be ordering from this restaurant again. I would advice anyone to think twice from ordering from this restaurant especially via Uber Eats since they seem to see it as an Uber Eats issue and not a Gyu-Kake food quality issue. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Terrible customer service and subpar food. Next time I will heat up a frozen entree from the freezer section of Walmart.

They try to make you think youre getting a deal with their happy hour menu, but its such a sham. $6 for a few dumplings? $7-$8 for bibimbap thats actually basically all rice? $8 for some nasty, imitation-ramen? $4.50 for a tiny thing of ice cream between a cheaply made macaroon? Their cocktails are also super cheap--meaning super artificial tasting. This place is a sham all-around. Will never go back.

Clearly having someone with you thats familiar with the menu changes the dining experience exponentially.While the service was good, the food prep seemed to lack any kind of order as if it were thrown on the plate by weight alone. Think tapas style eating, but in a grill-your-own Asian menu. Each table has its own little grill in the middle of the table, and you order items from the menu to share. The server brings the seasoned bits on a plate -whether its a shrimp, beef, chicken, a vegie dish etc, and you grill everything up to your liking. The restaurant is a pleasant atmosphere albeit it a bit loud. There is not much of a waiting area inside if you need to wait and no bar. Kids seem to like the cook your own concept. Their signature miso beef dish is very tasty. Everything is affordably priced and the portions are typical of a tapas style menu. We left full and happy.

We have been to a couple of Gyu-Kaku locations before and we wanted to try this location out because it just recently opened and it is close to our house.The place is kind of small. I have seen Starbucks location bigger than this place. They do however have patio seating.They accept reservations and they also have a texting system where they text you when your table is ready so you can walk around the shopping center.The service was great. All of the employees are very friendly and attentive to your needs.

I wanted to bring my family for dinner at Gyu-Kaku on Saturday evening as we walked up and saw the patio we experienced a disgusting dirty mess. The patio had dried up food and stained with spilled beverages all over. If you have a patio at your restaurant and you plan on serving food out there make sure your restaurant is cleaning. It was disgusting dirt ... i will never bring my family there.

Really great bbq, very similar to Korean bbq but with premium meat. The all you can eat is a bit costly but the individual plates should be sufficient especially considering the quality. Overall great place to stop for lunch or dinner!
