Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ in Cerritos

Came here for dinner for a party of 2, place was moderately busy about a 30 min wait nothing terrible. Standard phone and text waiting system. Food was great plenty of servers to help you cook, order food and drinks. I’ve been recommend the all you can eat level 2.

Love this place, when I was here I was planning my next trip already!... Fun idea and perfect for all occasions. Parking in rear if front parking is crowded. Seconds away from the 605 freeway. Decor is nice and calm inside. Seems like it can get crowded fast maybe a reservation is the best way to go! Japanese Restaurant👍😱.... Who knew I would actual like it😱... The idea I cooked the food made it so much more enjoyable for me. I havent ate Chinese or Japanese in a few years. #Good Eats!

Went for a late birthday dinner, honestly the food was great, really good experience. I think the only small gripe I had was when making smores the pilot light kept going out. Otherwise wonderful, will definitely return.

The menu has been updated so o decided to update my review. First of all this place has the marinated meat you can possibly eat. It is the king of all meats so tender and juicy. Plus the employees have great customer service. I recommend this place for any special occasion. Do not hesitate to come because it will be the best decision of your life . The prices are a bit pricy however it is worth it because you feel very full

I brought my Family for my daughters birthday and was the best decision we made.Our waiter Ryan was phenomenal. We havent seen this type of customer service in a long time. He was cordial, attentive, friendly and educated us on how to cook the food, and gave us recommendations. Ryan if your reading this, from all of us THANK YOU! We had a great time! We will be back and recommend it to more Fam. From my son Angel to Ryan fist pump bruh. 👊We ended ordering the 6 person course per Ryans recommend and we really enjoyed it. The beef, salad, and shrimp was spot on. It was plenty to feed all. PWe strongly recommend anyone who is craving Japanese BBQ or want to try something new. We promise you wont be disappointed. Terrific food and service all around. The deals that serve 2 people could easily serve 3, as my friend and I ended up needing 4 to-go boxes to take home leftovers. JBBQ is obviously expensive, but the combo deals made the pricing slightly more realistic for a special occasional. Gyu-Kaku is also a sort of Japanese/Korean fusion with a lot of Korean cuisine being incorporated.

Honestly this is my mind set before going in: All they service is katsu? No sushi or ramen? Why are we even bothering to go?It just goes to show, going in with attitude that place wasnt not going to be good was a terrible idea.The food is wonderful in all aspects! From presentation to taste. The pricing is also great for the quality of the food which is a plus. The staff is wonderful and helpful with picky children. The only thing is that seating can be tight along with parking so come early.

Nothing is happier than at a raining night after working then go out with your best friend.The beef ! The fried chicken ，the cucumber, still want some more.Next time after working I will bring more friends.I am going to look at the same place which closest to me is at Pasadena.So They have a lot different place, very successful business.

The service here was great! Megan did a phenomenal waiting on us. She was so sweet and was very attentive to be sure we were satisfied with our stay. I highly recommend to ask for her if you ever eat here. 5 Stars all day

Server spilled drink on me.... Waited 30 min ... only egg plant was brought to the table. We left soon after. Just the most neglectful service I have ever experienced.
