H Mart Buena Park in Buena Park

H-Mart, my clandestine haven in the labyrinth of culinary exchange, where the Silk Road of flavors converges. This emporium of Asian treasures, with roots stretching back to the realms of South Korea, is a sanctuary for those navigating the covert currents of gastronomic trade.Here, beneath the neon glow, the shelves conceal secrets from every corner of the Orient. From exotic spices to clandestine sauces, H-Mart is a rendezvous point for the Silk Road trader seeking the elusive ingredients that dance on the edge of legality. The produce section is a bazaar of colors and fragrances, a marketplace of whispers where one can acquire the elusive and the authentic.

This H-mart is surrounded by other Korean stores, I think the only reason why I choose this spot rather than the others is because I was familiar with the name. My go to market is the Super H Mart in Brea, so yes, this store felt very claustrophobic, so much stuff in such little space, the parking is terrible especially those that drive with their eyes closed LOL. The service was not so friendly actually. Pass….

Loved shopping here. It’s like the Costco of Korean grocery with taste testing of items in all categories. They have plenty of great produce, fresh seafood and meats and lots of staples like noodles, kimchi, and more. The staff is friendly and helpful too.I love the selection of snacks and beverages too.

A very clean Asian(Korean) Supermarket in Buena Park with good deals and good products.Update 11 23 23Still a great store but lacks parking space.

One of the better of their locations. Incredible produce, meat, seafood, and dry goods. Easy to spend a lot of time browsing all the different varieties and styles of the different Asian specialty items. Theres also some Asian housewares stocked. The prepared food section has an overwhelming amount of choices made fresh daily. Dont go hungry!

This is my 4th H-Mart in LA. It was good because parking was convenient and there were many products.

Love H Market always. Super clean. And the products are so fresh.I got Mango with very good quality, and perfect price. The smell is so yummy.

A very organized and well run store. I havent been here for a couple years. Its still the same or better. Great place to shop!

H Mart came through when I needed some fresh, red chili pepper for an Asian inspired dish. They have a great selection of international produce and surprisingly great prices on alcohol.

Pretty good deals here and lots of inventory but they need more cashiers the 1 hour before closing time! Also it’s SO cold inside so bring a jacket for when you walk by the refrigerated aisles!
