Nice Ramen spot for a cold day.My son and I were hunting for dinner when we came across this spot on Google maps.We wanted the Ramen but also tried the Sushi here. Both were very tasty and the service was fast.

I dont usually go out of my way to write a bad review however, I absolutely love ramen. What I bought from here was not ramen. The broth was almost tasteless and bland. The noodles tasted as if they were imitation top ramen. Im am seriously sad to have to write this review. I cant even finish my order. I still give it 2 stars because it at least looked good.

I’ve passed by this place for exactly a year and always wanted to stop by and I finally did...Best decision this week. Pork and Katsu Spicy ramen, with a dragon roll and Hot Sake For the Win! Had the spicy miso garlic ramen. Quality was not bad for non-authentic ramen (toppings, soup, noodles are all satisfactory if you keep this in mind). FWIW, owner/chef probably Chinese as there is a Mala Ramen 麻辣麵 on the menu in place of Japanese 担々麺 (Tan-Tan Men). Reviewers that complain about the quality are most likely comparing against authentic shops like those found in South Bay and in SF. When I dont have the time or inclination to drive all the way to South Bay, for under $9 including tax, a bowl of non-authentic ramen here is actually a good value. (BTW, take non-authentic with a grain of salt, as ramen, 拉麵, has its origins from China, but the modern rendition of ramen ラーメン, the really good stuff, is from Japan. So when I say non-authentic I mean relative to the really good Japanese ラーメン. Haha, like many Chinese-owned restaurants, are trying to create their version of Japanese ramen, so their quality or ingredients may seem off. Rather than compare the two, I put non-authentic ramen in its own category because its cheaper, sometimes providing a good value. However, if two shops were equidistant and equally priced, I would always go for authentic ramen.)

It is great. You have to try it if you like Japanese food. I will be back for sure.Flavors are really good. Portions are generous. Prices are decent.What more can you ask for?The parking situation is a little awkward since it is downtown. It is not too bad to park around there though and it is absolutely worth walking a few blocks to eat here.Treat yourself. This place has excellent food.

They are very nice and the sushi is fresh. But when I go out of my way to confirm and reconfirm that the California roll has the imitation crab stick, not the nasty crab/mayo salad, I hope that I can trust that. Well 3/4 of my rolls all contained this nasty crab-Mayo salad. I’m eating the meal because it wasn’t cheap and I am craving sushi- but it is all wrong. 3/4 of the rolls have this specific ingredient that I specifically asked about and was assured would not be on the sushi. I was told a crab stick and I got crab-Mayo salad. I get that this is the standard for a California roll in California, but NOONE else does this. Any other state or country, a California roll has the crab stick, not this nasty crab mayo salad.

I ordered the shio ramen and some need skewers, the noodles were simple and gummy but the brother was really tasty and made me feel cozy, the restaurant is also nice so the setting made you feel calm. I enjoyed coming here for lunch and plan to come back with friends

Great service and location- The Hamachi kama was the best Ive ever had in the bay area - grilled to perfection and perfectly seasoned. Everything Ive tried here has been great quality, fresh, and very tasty. I recommend you try the spicy garlic edamame, and definitely the Hamachi kama.

Ordered chicken karaage curry, chicken katsu curry, and futo maki sushi. Food is not bad but not very good either. Karaage was not crispy at all. Amount of curry was very little and too watery. Some part of futo maki was hard to chew. Chicken katsu was good.Interior and tables were on the smaller side. Everything was served with plastic as if dine-in is treated the same as to-go, it looks like they arent trying to wash dishes. Overall not worth coming here to snipe their hours for dinner if you dont live in downtown Hayward as they close early and close their kitchens earlier.

Haywards tastiest selection of Sushi & Best Ramen soup here. My favorite is the Seafood Ramen. In addition to their fresh fish selection.Food and outstanding service that stays consistent throughout all my several visits. I highly recommend eating here. Plus the prices are beyond affordable compared to the superior overall quality of food within its selection.

Ordered for delivery through their website. It said itd take an hour to reach your address. After waiting 1.5hr I called and they said delivery left 10min ago and should reach me soon. Delivery man arrived after I got off the phone, and he socially distanced and dropped off the food with care. My order was missing 2 items. I called back the location and I asked the man to refund me for the 2 missing items and he said he would, but its been 5 days and I still have not received a refund. There is not a contact us form or email to address so I have to call back again for them to refund me.By the time the food reached us, it was like warm and it was okay. Not really worth the long wait in receiving it. I would not recommend.

This place is great! The foods taste delicious and at a decent price. The service was good and our server was attentive of our needs. The walls are bare with a TV next to the bar. Be sure to know that if you order a soda, it comes in a can. There selection of foods is plentiful and of good quality. This place would be nice for a date or a small group. Im glad I found this place and plan on returning to enjoy with other people.

So i made an order of tempura shrimp(appetizer). So got home and found out that they gave me a shrimp tempura roll sushi, called the restaurant and they’re kind enough to deliver the right food. And told us to also keep the sushi! 😁 The Food taste so delicious. Unexpected level for a local sushi business. Highly recommended!

Dropped by a few nights back and enjoyed what I ordered- decided to try their ramen and got some sushi as well. Sushi is well prepared and delicious. The fish tasted quite fresh. I also enjoyed the service we received, very laid back drop in, drop out environment. The ramen was preeeeetty good too. There were some things I would change, but overall if you are looking for something thats a step up from a more premium packaged option, you will certainly find it delicious. I think my saddest moment was when my egg in my ramen was too boiled over, was not runny at all. Thanks for a overall great dining experience!

We went here once before when they first opened. It hadnt changed. I ordered the ramen with pork. It had no flavor. It tasted like they opened a packet dropped the noodles in added the slices of pork and that was it. Totally bland. Wont be going there again. We gave it a second chance.

My wife and I love this place! The ramen is delicious, definitely has a whole lot of spices and tastes not found in our normal diet. Semi dim lighting and nice tables make for a pretty good atmosphere. Were here about once a month to every other week.Their sushi uses imitation crab, but it sure is delicious. Big pieces, and a good deal when you buy a plate with a full sized ramen. I recommend the Golden California rolls, they have a nice fried edge to them.The owner is a great guy, he and his son work as servers. This place quickly became a local date night and special occasions place for us.

This place has bomb sushi for a good price. Had a bowl of ramen but it was really disappointing. It had no flavor and the pork belly that came with it was just blobs of fat that were way too sweet. I still gave it four stars because the sushi was that good. The service was friendlyish but they could use another waiter to accommodate when they get busy . Ill come back. Just never ordering the ramen ever again. The drink selection is small.

The noodles taste like generic noodles, nothing special but the broth and toppings are great and the sushi is decent too. Lots of options and satisfying. If you get extra noodles it is twice! the amount of noodles of a regular bowl and a regular bowl is big enough in my opinion.

Apart from having a hilarious name, the restaurant actually offers good ramen at good prices. The service has been fine, unless you are expecting white glove treatment. The building has a typical old building smell which always throws me off a bit when I step into the restaurant. Typically takes me a few minutes to get use to it. To be fair, a ton of buildings in the city have that smell, and Im pretty sensitive to certain smells.My favorite food there is the chicken ramen. The broth is so tasty that I almost want to come here for broth only. They offer side dishes at a good price too. My husband and I usually order two ramens and one side dish, which make us leave the restaurant feeling super stuffed.

My boyfriend and I went just last night for a date, just wanting to try out the newly opened store. When we got there, the first impression wasnt the best. He wasnt sure if they were still open and something was stuck on our table (probably just an oversight since we were coming in at the tail end of the night). But then we got the food. Oh my god, Ive not been this happy with sushi in such a long time. The miso soup was tasty and we shared a sashimi, which the tuna and salmon was DELICIOUS. I had ordered the golden nugget. After we both tasted it, we just couldnt stop ordering more sushi, wanting to try more and more of it.The waiter was quiet, but friendly. The sushi chef ended up laughing with us at the end of the night. It was a great atmosphere and the food still has me having cravings for more. I would definitely say if youre in Hayward to stop inside. The menus large and the ramen smells amazing. I saw some pictures online that looked good but the plate we got was so much better in presentation and phenomenal in taste.Amazing job guys! Keep it up!

I’m not sure how to describe my experience here, for it was brief and pretty unpleasant. When I entered I immediately noticed a fowl odor, thinking my nose caught something outdoors, I had the waiter sit me down with a menu. When I sat down the odor, what I could only describe as raw sewage came from the back portion of the restaurant. I looked around to see if the other two people in the restaurant were aware of the smell, but they seemed to be preoccupied. After a moment or two I decided I needed to leave. I wouldn’t have been able to eat raw fish with a raw sewage smell lingering. I don’t know how someone couldn’t notice it!

I came here with a friend who likes sushi. i havent had real ramen in a real long time. i got the chicken ramen. it was really good. the staff was really nice. noodles were firm. the broth excellent and that half boiled egg.its right across the street from the movie theater area. its by foothill and bst.the ramen and soda was about $10. they have about 8 different types.
