I was hesitant to try sushi called Haha however I’m glad I popped in. I’m vegetarian so had the cucumber roll and the veggie roll. The size was good and it was filling. Would try again.

First time trying this Sushi place, upon arrival we noticed they emerge busy so thought maybe we found a good sushi place here in Orcutt! Boy was I wrong!!! Chicken teriyaki was very dry and teriyaki sauce was thick and lumpy. We order a couple rolls and after trying the first roll immediately got grossed out. Strong rotten fishy taste. I have eaten sushi my whole life and never experienced this horrible quality. As we left my son was starting to have a stomach ache. Safe to say we won’t be going back! It was hard to pay the $85 bill. Safe to say we won’t be going back or recommending this place.

I’ve been coming here since they opened almost 10 years ago. I even lived in Tokyo for over 4 years so I have a decent amount of experience in sushi and Asian cuisine. This place has never disappointed and has awesome prices. Always great service and amazing food. I’ll never stop coming back.

Good local sushi in Orcutt. They have a half-price menu and always have a polite staff. Not the fastest, or the best, but nice, polite people serving decent sushi for a reasonable price.

Decent rolls at a good price. Our go-tos are the California roll, spicy salmon roll, and we rotate between some of their specialties. Rolls are consistent which is nice.

Ate here yesterday and got extremely sick soon after. I should of known, as we were there I saw one of the sushi cooks with his hand in his mouth 🤦🏽‍♀️ They need to be more sanitary so this doesn’t happens to more customers

I am sorry to say that this place has you throwing up. My food had hair growing in it. This is the second time it has happened. We thought we could give it a chance and we were wrong. While we were in the restaurant there was another person who had the same problem. The only reason I have it a star was because you had to add a star.

I travel a lot for work and I eat a lot of sushi. HaHa sushi is hands down the best sushi Ive ever had. Thats not a typo....EVER!Initially I was slightly disappointed because the prices seemed to be about 10-15% higher than I am accustomed to but the portions were enormous! Maybe double the size of most places these days. And it was so fresh and flavorful. I almost wish I lived here!

The disgusting state of the one bathroom alone is enough to never go back. Like violation status… Rolls were very large (too large to eat whole pieces), so if you’re only after quantity, this is your spot. Poor service and low quality seafood. That calamari “roll” will most definitely NOT look like the photo.

I got this place delivered through door dash and it was rough. The fish was off and the rolls had an after taste of dishwater. The tempura was the only descent thing. That being said with wasnt crisp and had little flavor. Maybe they are better in person.

We have been going here since they opened and tonight it just wasn’t good. We threw away $50 of “sushi”. The calamari roll was frozen fish sticks thrown on a pile of sushi. The “baked” lobster roll was a cold pile of mess and the eel just tasted off. The best thing I had was white rice and edamame. I don’t know if they got a new chef or what and they seem to go through employees very quickly. I won’t be going back and wasting my money 😢 I would’ve let them know at the restaurant but the service was rushed and they never asked how anything was. I guess you get what you pay for and I’ll pay a couple extra bucks at sushi teriyaki next time

The worst ramen I have ever had. The noodles tasted like instant noodles, the meat and eggs tasted rotten (oddly sweet). Saves from a 1 star rating because of the cheap California rolls.

This place has always been great. There is a 1 star review by a gentleman named Ari who claims that he wasnt allowed inside due to his service dog. If you read the review, the sushi restaurant then said they could come in, but Ari had apparently lost their appetite?Ari loves to play on the disabled veteran take and cites that fact on several other of their reviews. Their entire review reads like a hit piece, they didnt even eat at haha sushi.Anyways, great restaurant with cheap rolls at a fair price. Their more expensive rolls are much higher quality but the cheap stuff is good too.

Sushi is average, wasabi seems mild … but 3 stars is for an experience i had when picking up sushi. a guy was at the take out window making small talk with a waitress for about 10 minutes while my food was already done and ready to be picked up. i asked the waitress if i should come inside to get it and she said no, to stay outside at the window. then she continued to speak to the man about small talk for another 5 minutes. when food is ready then the employees need to bring it to the window and save shooting the breeze for their own personal time

My three year old and I love this little gem. Great staff, nice setting. The tofu appetizer, vege upon, and the avocado roll are vegan kid approved. The tofu avocado roll and the vege roll are delicious!

Today after going to Starbucks across the street from this restaurant and being treated with kindness and understanding we thought we would try teriyaki at this restaurant.The first greeting was ok but was told I shud sit outside bcuz of my dog that the server didnt recognizing he had his service vest on and that I was told most people with pets sat outside.I explained to him I am a veteran with a service dog and have never been refused service to where I could sit..I showed him my veterans card and that my service dog is tegistered.I suddenly lost my appetite a n.v d we left. To add to the insult he apologized and said have a nice day.Being that as it iui s I wouldve given 0 stars to this restaurant if I could. We went to a vietnamese restaurant and had no issue. Some training is needed bcuz we also had gone to ichiban and they hff ad no issue either.Careful consideration of California state and national laws need to be followed. Poor poor customer service of untrained individuals.
