$42 for all-you-can-eat sushi. Mid-tier sushi but its all you can eat! For a sushi bar Id give 3 stars but for all you can eat its 4. The Age Dashi Dofu was not good, bad sauce and not worth it. They ran out of Uni (conveniently for them). I pigged out on some of my favorites and feel like I got a fair deal. Indonesian guy making my sushi is a legend, worked hard without showing it and did not over-pack the rice.If you want to pig out on sushi this is pretty-pretty-pretty good. BTW I like saba and shake as you can see.

This place is totally shouldn’t even be called a sushi house. Went in there to have some lunch and honestly ended up eating 30 times more rice then I ate fish, and on top of all that the baked muscles didn’t have any taste to them at all like they only put mayo on top that’s it! Totally not even worth the price!! Save your money and go some where else! Never again!

To celebrate Fathers Day we indulged in All you can eat sushi. Started with their steamed mussels, soft shell crab, and shumai. Mussels were excellent and crab and shumai were good. There was plenty of sushi variety and the fish fresh and sweet. The prompt, courteous and respectful service added to the whole experience.

The sushi here is the best. Ive been going here for a long time and my friends and I keep coming back. The service is not that great, not that they are rude but most of the time, the waiters dont seem organized. The food is top notch and the fish is fresh and delicious.

I ordered the Sushi Deluxe. What an amazing assortment of fish. Very large fish slices on their sushi. Some of the best spicy tuna rolls Ive had. So flavorful. Salad is fresh & the miso soup broth seems more rich than other restaurants Ive tried. They also served me my cucumber lemon water upon my request with no hassle unlike other restaurants have done to me in the past. The service was flawless. Overall, I had a pleasurable dining experience. :)

I had the worst experience here with my family. We went on a Thursday night and it was dead so I was excited for exceptional service but I was wrong. The sushi chefs were making Togo orders and not our own and kept looking over at us. We ordered miso soup for me and my two kids that was overwhelming with salt that we all spit it out and told the waiter and they looked at us confused. Then we got all you can eat and after the first course never came back to ask us for anything else. We spend the whole night tracking them down. The last course they made us wait 35 min until we asked them what happened to it and they forgot to put in the order. Absolutely horrible service. I think the worst part was when the waiter brought out our sushi they reached over the empty plates and didn’t even remove them from the table. Sad. There isn’t many all you can eat sushi places around.

I felt so bad for our server because he was doing everything alone. Serving 2 tables and handling take out and answering the phone. On a Sunday. Our cokes were flat so we asked for sprite to which he responded, our soda machine isnt really working but we have (alcohol options) my boyfriend ended up ordering saki because there was no other option lol. Nice upsell for them. The water tasted weird too, so I went and got my hydro flask out of the car. They brought us the 4 little orders of sushi we ordered and then we waited 45 minutes for the rest of our food. Didnt even get to take advantage of the all you can eat because it took so long for them to get our food out. Never coming here again.

Unfortunately after 20 plus years, I just ate my last meal here. I have always enjoyed the food here at Hai. I came in for my usual all you can eat and was told after I started ordering and eating that there is a max of 2 orders of yellowtail and then was later told there is only 1 max order of halibut now. The all you can you eat was the reason I came here specifically. Very upset I was charged 35 dollars for an all you can eat meal when I was told I couldn’t eat the items I came to get.

One of the worst places to dine. During our ayce dinner one of the chefs show up for a his shift but instead of washing his hands he goes straight to the bar to start taking orders then he grabs a hand full of spicy tuna with no gloves from the bar fridge. On top of that the owner is always heard speaking down and chewing out their employees in front of customers while we are trying to enjoy our meals. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. They should also practice sanitary habits by not allowing the waiter and waitress to clean the tables by removing dirty plates and then bringing our food. If the chef wont wash his hands then what else goes on that we dont see? We are not first timers here nor patrons but this will definitely be the last time we ever return.

Very good food. The Server we had was a super nice young guy named Austin, and he was really great.We went for a birthday dinner with 13 people and he was on his toes all night. Never missed a beat all night.All you can eat menu is very well worth it.Cant wait to go back.

Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. On this particular time, the service missed a few items when we ordered. The sushi was fresh and amazing with the exception that the Salmon and Eel were not very good (which are of course my favorites), but everything else was far better tasting than Ive had at many other Sushi restaurants (tuna, albacore, yellowtail, halibut, etc). All in all very good. Im happy to go back with the thought that the Salmon and Eel were just having a bad day.

My go-to sushi place.So far everything we’ve ordered has been very fresh and delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the prices are very reasonable.We haven’t attempted the AYCE yet, but they have so many options for that as well.Recommendation: Philly Roll, Maguro, Sake, Heart Attack, any of the tempura rolls…. Even their miso soup is top notch.I only wish I could have this everyday.

Great local sushi restaurant. Everything looked so good we went with all you can eat. The rolls were huge, the fish pieces were extra large. There were a bunch of items on the menu that you dont see in typical Sushi places, loads of variety and lots to try. The staff were excellent and the food prep was very fast. Very good value. I wish it was closer to my home!

First time stopping in simi valley and had 3 hours to kill while my car had some work done at a local shop. 45 min of walking around deciding where to eat lead me to this awsome family-owned restaurant. A hot mess. Ordered via Grubhub for pick up and the food was EIGHTY minutes late past Grubhubs window (so thats two hours from the time I ordered). What we got would have been disappointing even if it was on time. Half of the food was ice cold. The teriyaki chicken was sloppily chopped untrimmed fatty chicken thighs. The premium rolls (which, mind you, are $16 each) were the sloppiest and most unappetizing looking sushi Ive ever seen. The flavor was unremarkable, mostly spicy mayo and eel sauce masking a mediocre roll. The ice cold gyoza was the only thing Id want to eat again. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

We were in the mood for 🍣 and this place did not disappoint. Wasnt aware that they had all you can eat sushi until we arrived. Order a few rolls, everything from the Crazy Roll to the Japanese Ceviche was super delicious. Definitely will be back soon.

My family and I have been coming here for years and I cant see that changing, the sushi is just sooo good. They have a large variety to choose from and it is all fresh and tasty! You can also catch some good drink specials of beer and sake! I do recommend making a reservation, especially if you do not want to sit at the sushi bar because the restaurant is rather small. Even when the restaurant is full, service is still speedy. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Some pieces took three cuts even fit in your mouth. This was a total waste of time and money. The only thing good was the veggies on the all you can eat. Sad

Not a good experience here but it was my first time. The manager was hovering over our shoulders and we felt rushed. It was very slow, just a couple of tables at the time, and the food was coming out pretty quick, and thats why they got the three points. Willing to try it one more time, we will see what happens.

This place had to be one of the WORST sushi places in town! Not only was it put together poorly, but for 3 rolls ad a couple pieces of sushi it took two hours and there was nobody else ordering! The poor waiter had to remind the chef to even make our order then told us that we would have to remind him as well to do it even though we had marked the sheet for him. To top it all off he was more interested with two female customers and doing shots with them than making our food! I talked to the owner and he did absolutely NOTHING!! The salmon was baked but then chopped and mixed into dressing and rolled. The roll looked sad did not have enough rice, did not finish it. Really weird way to put it together. Endanome had no salt in which something Im very use to. The atmosphere is crowded and there was only 3 groups including myself.. Not a place i would recommend

Quality is okay, waiters are friendly. We ate all you can eat. Personally, I think 25 dollars is quite high, but that seems to be normal in the USA. All in all I think its fine!
