2023-10-07 05:06:05The black tonkotsu ramen is pretty good, but the serving size is a bit small, and you only get one slice of chashu. Just remember, extra toppings will cost you more. But, hands down, the katsu curry stole the show! The katsu had that perfect crispy breading and a satisfying crunch. Plus, they give you a massive portion. Seriously, dont miss out on the katsu! As for the service, it was good. I went on a Tuesday night, and it wasnt too crowded. Just keep in mind that finding parking might be a bit tricky since its in Little Tokyo.

2023-05-12 01:27:42A nice place to get some ramen in little Tokyo, famous for its spicy noodles. The ordering system is kinda cool, since it allows you to choose the hardness of the noodles, spiciness of the soup and extra ingredients. The service is very efficient. The ramen was tasty (we chose a manageable level 2 of spiciness) but the noodles had a kind of instant ramen quality and therefore took zero soup in. The gyozas were just ok.The atmosphere was ok, but you kinda got the feeling they were trying to get you out as soon as possible to put others customers in (like rushed to finish your drink). Overall is a recommendable place, not expensive at all.

2023-10-09 00:37:11SOLID Japanese ramen…I’ve had many Japanese ramen, and I know the broth very well, what is the best broth. This broth is solid, and I saw them putting pork bones in.The spicy paste is top notch. It’s not type of paste that drags you, but refreshes you with thick greasy broth.I went to another ramen place at little Tokyo, it was rough.Anyway, saludos to all! Great job!

2023-07-08 23:14:18It is with great disappointment that I update my review. This place has always been my go to spot for ramen. Everytime I come I leave with a smile. But not this time. Me and my gf ordered our usual, tonkatsu ramen and godfire ramen w a side of gyoza. Everything was good until my gf found a big hair sticking out of the gyoza. We understand that mistakes happen so we informed the pregnant server of the mistake. She did not apologize for the mistake and just took the dish and offered to replace it. The whole situation then turned awkward. My appetite was totally gone and the new batch of gyoza seemed untrustworthy. I really felt little was done to correct their mistake. No sorry no discount or nothing. I really left displeased and grossed out. I didnt finish my ramen which I always do. I might not be coming back. I for sure will stop promoting this as my favorite ramen.

2023-06-19 00:12:53Ramen is excellent for what you get. Ive had the God fire, very good. The spice level is like a normal spice level for LA tongues. Otherwise the name speaks for itself for those more sensitive to heat. Then you cant go wrong with the Tonkotsu, rich and flavorful. Great location in Little Tokyo, next to a lot of bars.

2023-08-08 04:38:57I ordered tonkotsu ramen. Overall it’s good. The soup base is rich in flavor. I guess some people might find it a bit strong on the pork odor but I’m okay with it.
