2024-06-29 06:54:53This place is fantastic! We never tried Afghan food before and wanted to try something commonly found in Afghanistan - when we went inside we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who walked us through the menu and gave their best recommendations. They recommended the bihari kabob for our intro to Afghan cuisine, and we wanted to try their chicken tikka masala because whenever it’s on a menu anywhere, we always like to try. We got some garlic naan and cheese naan as well, and rasmalai for dessert. The bihari kabob was HEAVEN ON A PLATE. ORDER THIS! The meat was incredibly flavorful and better than any regular kebab you get elsewhere. The chicken tikka masala was fantastic as well! We have probably had close to 100 different chicken tikka masala’s and they’re all very different…some too spicy, some too tomatoey, but Biryani Kabob House’s was VERY good. Very close to the best we’ve ever had - only one or two places we’ve been had better, and those were nicer sit-down Indian restaurants, which isn’t really fair because it seems like this place focuses more on Pakistani cuisine. So overall, that was an excellent dish as well, and we would definitely order it again. The garlic naan and cheese naan were amazing! The cheese naan was on another level - you absolutely should get an order of it. It’s addicting! And even the rasmalai for dessert was super good - it was actually homemade unlike so many other Indian and Pakistani restaurants that take the easy way out and buy desserts premade wholesale. I cannot stress how much you should be running to check this place out. You will be very happy with your meal!!

2024-06-20 21:21:27This place is by far the best halal Indian/Afghan/Pakistani food I have ever eaten! Chicken Tandoori is the best I have tried, and I have visited 10 other countries so thats a huge statement! Prices are fair, food is amazing quality, and the service is great! Uzi is really friendly and makes you always feels right at home! Please try this place out you wont be disappointed!

2024-04-30 23:16:10This is a really good spot to grab some lunch/dinner in northridge. I got the chicken tikka masala and they made it fresh to order and it was very delicious and flavorful. They have a student menu which as a student myself think it is really affordable and filling. Dining area is kept clean and has plenty of seating. Service was excellent and I will be coming again.

2024-07-01 06:58:25The restaurant falls short in several crucial aspects.Firstly, the quality of the meals did not meet expectations considering the exorbitant prices. The dishes lacked flavor and creativity, making it difficult to justify the high costs. For what was served, one would expect exceptional taste, which was regrettably absent. Moreover, there was a disconcerting discrepancy between the menu prices displayed and what I was actually charged at the register. When I brought this to the owners attention, he dismissed it as outdated pricing on the menu posters, which is misleading and unacceptable. To add to the frustration, the restaurant advertised a discount for groups paying in cash, which I availed myself of. However, instead of receiving the promised discount, I noticed a surprising increase in the final bill. This bait-and-switch tactic left a sour taste in my mouth, figuratively and literally. In summary, for the steep prices charged, diners deserve transparency and exceptional culinary offerings, neither of which were adequately delivered during my visit.

2024-07-05 05:31:06The cashier (big chubby Bengali with a chain around his neck) behaved extremely inappropriately with my female friend. It was super creepy. Talking about how she smells, asking for her perfume then trying to touch her while giving the change. Trying to talk to her about her personal life, talking about his personal life. How disgusting and unprofessional. I hope he is fired from there. Feeling unsafe to visit.

2024-03-12 18:05:24As a huge fan of the other two Biriyani Kabob House locations (Ktown and Downtown LA) it was great news to see that a new one was opened in the Valley. The Nali Nihari and Chicken Handi are the best of the best, and among the many other amazing dishes, they make this one of my top five favorite restaurants in LA.

2024-02-12 03:48:00A new must stop by and try. Very warm welcoming staff, great service all around.Food was fantastic! I would gladly buy a bottle of their salad dressing and a bag of the Naan.Chicken and beef kabobs were delicious, along with all their other meat. Their samosas were a hit among everyone at the table and we will be coming back!
