Hamachi Sushi in Cathedral City

Overall pretty great. We’ve been several times and only once was the food not too great. I rated it 4 as it is definitely not the absolute best I’ve had in town, but definitely a more budget friendly option. Tonight’s food was definitely 5/5 though

They only offered Bento boxes on the fried food. So I ordered the chicken teriyaki and it came on a big pile which was amazing of chicken teriyak on little skillet. Couldnt even eat it all, and it took some home. Also came with a large bowl of rice, salad, and miso soup. Hes so soup was good but not as good as others Ive had. The rolls were very large portion, so two was more than enough for one person. A smaller strip mall restaurant, so there are not too many tables inside like a regular restaurant. That being said, there were many takeout orders going out the door.

Menu has abundant options that are delicious. I ordered the shrimp tempura and was surprised that it was strictly Shrimp. I’m accustomed to it having shrimp and veggies- delicious regardless. The service from the waitress was outstanding!

This place is so awesome 🤩 I love the service and my favorite is the Sushi Bar they are such great company. They always show a good time and it was such great flavored sushi. They always give great service laughs and a great environment. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I recommend this to anyone that loves sushi and Mexican food. Perfect for a date night or just an experience with family and some good food and service. Tip and enjoy the time. Thank you guys. Love this place, #SeeYouTomorrow

Food is expertly prepared. Tastes are amazing, and the presentation is awesome. Have not found a bad choice for food yet

This was so good and fresh. Loved my Bday treat.

Pretty meh visit. Service was excellent, the best part. Sushi rolls had little crab meat, very little compared to neighboring sushi joints in the city. The music playing is for someone of a specific taste and not really what I would call restaurant music, and the volume was a couple clicks higher than it should be. It was obvious this was the cook’s choice as they were jamming out to it but they were the only ones. Also it was Spanish music, which definitely takes away and kills the vibe from a Japanese restaurant. I listen to Spanish radio and speak it so it’s not that I’m against it. Just didn’t fit the environment. Not sure I’ll come back.

We got the sushi/sashimi boat. The fish has no flavor. The spicy mayo is very mild too. The prices are very expensive too.

So much to say... but lets start with a key factor... the service... we had Elizabeth Villegas and she was AMAZING!! I went with 2 great friends for dinner last night... she was so pleasant, fun, ontop of it... just awesome... and the food was legit shockingly delicious!!! We were expecting good, but we got pleasantly surprised by just how fresh, light but filling everything was... I definitely recommend this establishment!!!♡♡♡

Such a charming spot in a strip mall with plenty of customers, however I was completely underwhelmed. First off, who uses red snapper for sushi and sashimi?! It was such a gamey meat. The salmon was fine, but not fatty enough. The thai tea was a complete miss for me and had a weird aftertaste. Honestly, I wouldnt go back. However, thank you for the invite.
