Hamachi Sushi Express in La Habra

Got a sushi cake! I informed them that the birthday boy likes salmon more so they decorated with more salmon. I dropped my own plate since I wasn’t a big fan of the black plastic. They were very nice! Order in advance! I called a few days before but gave them the plate a day in advance. The sushi cake fed 2 people. If you’re hungry, go for the bigger cake! I got the smaller one and I think for women, it’ll be enough. Men weren’t full from it at all. Price was a bit high but it’s really the experience. I want to come back to eat at the restaurant!

Owners are so friendly and pleasant! The sushi rolls we ordered were amazingly fresh and beautifully put together. Pictured: Hot night roll, Rainbow spicy roll. Mango & Cajun Salmon rolls. Very clean dining area and atmosphere. I plan to return for more in the future when Im in town! Definitely stop by if you love great sushi!

Was at Starbucks and notice this sushi place next door, was wanting sushi and decided to walk in. Very non descriptive front entrance.Was greeted and sat at the counter. Ordered their omakase and was expecting conveyor quality. Truth be told, i was going to eat my words.Fish was of high quality cuts and super fresh. Taste was non traditional nigiri and chef put his own twist on it.This is literally better than any other sushi places ive had and to boot its a mom/pop place, which i love to support.Will be coming back and referring out as well.Totally recommend!!

Everything about this place was amazing. The cuts of fish were so fresh, my mouth is still watering just thinking about it. The rolls were big and filled with fish. Presentation was phenomenal. This is going to be my go to for sushi every time I’m in town. Thanks so very much!

Quickly became one of my family’s favorite restaurants! Their fish is always fresh and the owners are so kind and pay attention to the little details.Favorites:- poke bowl- baked lobster roll- chirashi bowl- iced green teaThey do get busy in the evenings on weekends, so ensure you call ahead or make a reservation!

Delicious, high quality sushi.... reasonable pricing. Super friendly staff. I have tried just about every roll on the menu and each one is better than the next.....the mango avocado salad is amazing!

Have ordered here a number of times and the food is absolutely amazing! Owner’s are so friendly and welcoming so it is easy to relax there or take out. Very attentive, clean, excellent grade of sushi with attention to detail for each roll/salad/etc. feels like love with each bite! I have traveled extensively and eaten sushi of all varieties so this shop is such a find here in our Brea/La Habra area!Thank you Hamachi Sushi Express!!!
