Check-in was quick and easy, rooms were clean ans cool. Hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was hot and fresh and didnt make you feel gross afterwards. Pool was clean and refreshing. Overall all stay was pleasant. Other hotel guest were of the norm. Great family hotel. Nice and quiet in the rooms. Would definitely stay again. Convenient location.
This place is your average nice hotel. Good breakfast, clean rooms, cool air conditioning, etc... We had a group that stayed here while we were in town for 11 days and everything was perfectly acceptable and basically all the things you expect at a hotel.The staff are all very polite, but one lady was absolutely awesome and deserves to be mentioned - she was always very polite and cheerful and happy, always a kind greeting each morning, and she brewed the coffee a little stronger for us each morning if she was working that day (on days she wasnt working, the coffee was watery and weak and tasted like dishwater). Unfortunately, I didnt catch her name throughout my various interactions with her, otherwise I would mention her here because she deserves credit and recognition.Like I said at the beginning, average hotel... but the cheerful and hardworking coffee lady takes things well above average. She is a true MVP level employee! If management wants to contact me so we can figure out who she is and get her the recognition she deserves, please feel free.
Truly pleased with the overall experience at this Hampton Inn. Friendly and welcoming service. Extremely clean environment. All fitness equipment worked well and again, very clean. Rooms were clean, fresh and quiet even during a busy stay. The location, right off the freeway makes it easy to locate.
Stayed here for a few days. Very nice hotel in El Centro. The place was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and nice. The gym was outstanding the indoor pool was nice and heated.Breakfast was good in the morning with your standard hot breakfast as well as multiple waffle machines. The hotel is situated right next to a large shopping area as well as the Imperial Mall. I highly recommend the Hampton Inn if I was staying in the Imperial Valley

All room lights are bright white, not inviting/cozy at all. Breakfast is soggy eggs and sad bacon, basic cereals or a waffle, nothing to write home about. Overall overpriced.
EV charging was WORTHLESS! Hotel was clean and comfortable, but we booked the hotel because it has EV charging. What was highly disappointing was that the EV chargers were level one chargers, only charging 6-8 miles per hour which is far too slow, even 10 hours on a changer only added 80 miles, and we needed 300+ miles, so worthless for someone traveling in an EV, after our stay we had to find and pay for a fast charger.
Very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Extremely clean throughout. Well appointed in all areas, including the room. Very close to shopping and food. However, the AC in the gym was not working at the time of my visit. Admittedly, I did not report it to staff which is why Im still giving this a 5-star review. Hopefully, they have it fixed soon because it was getting HOT in there after an hour on the treadmill.
The general manager here charged me for one night cuz their credit card systems were down, so I paid cash. Then in the morning another guest tries to come in my room saying they got the same room. Not sure what’s going on at this hotel, but I never received my Hilton honor points either. They need to investigate who ever is running this place.
Poor interaction with the person at the front desk. Instead of seeking resolution he got angry and started a power trip.Ev charging is in the back and the door from the back does not open with a room card. You have to walk all the way around to the front.No safety rail on the side street exit. Dont rush out or you could do an 18 faceplant onto the concrete sidewalk below. (See pic)Fairly clean but very humid. That may have been the rain from the day before but you would think their ventilation would have caught up by now.They do have plenty or charging points in the room.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn in El Centro. I had never stayed at a Hampton Inn and decided to splurge this visit. I found that they are reasonably priced and the hotel was great. It was very clean, and the staff was great. The food during the breakfast was great and the lady serving was just awesome! She had patience and was so helpful and nice despite the couple of guests who were not very nice. By and large the entire experience was great and I will be happy to stay again when back in town.
Sloppy service. one elevator out of service. Second elevator was out of service one night. Breakfast four cost of room at best poor to medium. Do yourself a favor. Stay at choice or Best Western. Perhaps a little less convenient to Mall and dogwood. But you will save yourself money and generally get a better breakfast. Not likely I will return to this location. Understand, I have stayed at many Hampton Inns. Generally quite good. El Centro is a significant exception.
This hotel appears to have either been recently renovated or is brand new. Rooms are bright. Really bright! The bathroom is the brightest Ive ever seen in a hotel. Bed was comfy but the frame squeaks. The toilet wobbled a little, so while it looks great, the fit and finish are a little poor. Free breakfast is worth it, though, and overall a nice place to stay.
Beware of this hotel, they will keep your deposit.I stayed here for two nights at the beginning of December. The price for two nights was $211.20. They charged my card for $252.88 upon check in, of what I’m guessing is the amount for a two night stay plus a $41 deposit. After my stay, the hotel emailed me a receipt showing they charged my card $211.20.At the time of this posting the charge of $252.88 is still pending. I called my bank and my bank told me to contact the merchant since the charge is still pending. So I called the hotel and they told me to call my bank. So I guess my only other option is to contact a lawyer I’ve done business with before in El Centro and sue this hotel.
Not sure what happened to this place was my favorite place to stay while working here on business. The breakfast if you are lucky to have one the last few times It has been non-existent and the bread in my sack lunch had mold on it and about all I can say is the only good thing in it was the bottle of water. The rooms are showing signs of abuse and non-repair my shower door was broken and the shelf that holds the towels fell off the wall while getting a towel, the remote for the TV did not work and I had no sound or could not change a channel if I wanted to. Oh well, it was stuck on Shark week so it was almost ok to look at. I think there might have been a change in management, completely different feel from last time the staff seems to be all new and did not seem to care less if there was no coffee or it was cold and the bread was moldy, thank God there is a Starbucks nearby!
This place is always booked due to being the nicest Hotel in the Valley. It’s very clean with great amenities. Staff is always friendly. Just wish the last three visits they would place not next to the elevator or stair case. Even when I suggest not to be near one .
Very clean hotel with comfortable beds and nicely appointed bathrooms. The shower was large with a high shower head (over 7 feet). It has sliding glass doors instead of the typical bath tub with a shower curtain. The staff was friendly and prompt.Breakfast was included and was satisfactory. Nothing amazing, but the food was hot and my belly was full.
Whenever my family and I visit the Imperial Valley this has been our go-to hotel destination. The staff has been extremely welcoming and courteous when we arrive for check-in or with any questions we may have. Being able to sit down with my family for breakfast has been great again with the kitchen staff being very friendly as well with filling our food requests. All in all we will continue to stay at the Hamptom Inn El Centro for a long time coming. Thank you everyone.
Staying for business, couldnt have asked for a better place to rest my head at night. Room is clean, comfortable and modern, clearly a newer hotel. Fitness room is pretty well stocked and open until midnight which is very handy! Staff have all been extremely pleasant and helpful, always smiling. There is a handy little kiosk for snacks and extras you might need during your trip. Breakfast is pretty standard, cant complain! I look forward to my next trip here, it certainly makes being away from home easier!

Great rooms, solid breakfast, completely empty gym. Bed was comfy and room was able to get coooooold even on a day where it was 115 degrees outside. The gym was great but none of the treadmills worked for more than a fifth of a mile. Weird. Also, cell reception was wonky and I had some missed called when my phone didnt ring despite having full bars. All that said, for basic hotel purposes and a great view indicating youre below sea level, this place is great.
Great service, rooms are clean & staff is friendly. Breakfast is just okay, but the staff is excellent & makes up for it. Elevator is really slow... had a conversation with another guest about it in the elevator. It was nice to be able to purchase beer in the pantry.
The establishment was clean, well kept, and the staff super nice. The price gouge hurt at 1:30 am on a Saturday at $232.00, but I needed a place to sleep when I tried crossing the border too late and it was closed.
I was impressed, I think this is a new hotel, everything was very clean and new. Front desk person was nice.I was a little sad they did not have foam pillows, I made the request 2 days before our arrival and was assured the pillows would be in our room. When I checked with the front desk, they were out of foam pillows.When the housekeeper relaxed the towels she did not leave wash clothes. We called that evening but done were brought. Had to call again in the morning and then wait 45 minutes.The highlight was the dead body in front of the hotel. Police was there, along with several other miscellaneousofficial looking men just standing around looking at it and drawing attention to it.
Good service, reasonable rates, comfortable beds and well equipped rooms. The hotel is new and features large new TVs in the rooms as well as modern decor. The continental breakfast was average and seemed to only be manned by one employee which meant several food items were often not available.
Good hotel with nice breakfast, although when we arrived, the waffle machine was broken for 2 days. I loved the gluten-friendly options like gluten-free bagels, cereal, hard-boiled ages, cooked/scrambled eggs, fruit, yogurt, etc. Coffee was good as well, and I love good coffee. The location is also great, right off the freeway and close to all the major stores and a big mall. The price was quite reasonable, considering how busy hotels get in this area during the week. There is a modern, comfort atmosphere, loved the couches in the dining, so you can work and eat as if in your living room. Only issue was I suspect there may be some rooms with mattresses that are in need of being replaced, and others with good ones. I say this because our first night in the first level floor was so uncomfortable I couldnt sleep, because I could feel the springs dig into my back and ribs. Next night were moved to a bit nicer looking room (at least it seemed), and with way better mattresses. Needless to say that night I slept a lot better. I appreciated their customer service at the front desk and their willingness to move us when I complained. I would come back again and would recommend this place to friends.
Billed twice for my stay at different rates. Called customer service and the adjustment is still pending. I had already informed hotel management at check out but they still sent the wrong receipt amount.
This hotel is very convenient if you are visiting the El Centro/Calexico area. Comfortable and clean with free breakfast to boot. A shopping mall is located across the street with plenty of places to eat. The housekeeping staff were extremely helpful. Unfortunately, I experienced issues with my room key several days. Despite this I recommend this hotel.
This Hampton wasn’t on their game. This was our 4th time in El Centro. We stay at Hampton’s always if we can and had just stayed at a LV Hampton the night before which was great. The clerk was rude. We weren’t given our 2 water bottles. There was no ice water available which we look forward to. There was no coffee service available. There were no cookies. A sign was posted saying there would be no breakfast of any kind, we had 1 regular coffee in the room. We only had 2 towels. Not the regular 3-4. The AC froze ya out and thermostat didn’t work right. The bottom bed sheet didn’t fit and popped off. And the list goes on. However it WAS clean.They didn’t even send us a survey as is the policy after our 1st stay we thought it was the nicest Hampton we’d stayed in. What happened?
Friendly staff. Rooms could be better. The carpet in my room felt sticky. The AC unit smells when it turns on. The lighting in the room is extremely cold, is not a warm welcoming feel. The gym is okay. Has dumbbells and a cable machine with a pull-up bar.
I loved this brand new hotel, contemporary, clean and well located, close to the highway and mall. Excellent service and indoor pool.Complimentary breakfast was good, warm and cold food. The heated swimming pool is super convenient for the kids.
A normal hotel in most locales... In El Centro it is a jewel. Clean hotel, well appointed and friendly staff. Enjoyed the breakfast which was better than the other Hampton we stayed in. Removed 1 star because the bed was turned weird in our room to make room for the chaise which meant we had to watch TV sideways.
Nice breakfast selection. The room was ok, but the bathroom was very awkward, with a sliding door that as far as I could tell had no lock, and which covered the adjoining closet when opened. If one person is trying to get out of the bathroom and another is trying to get in the closet this can make for an unexpected jam.
Free breakfast not great for vegetarians...the rooms are ok could be cleaner ...the carpet in my room was stained and the bathroom floor was questionable....no attention to detail which is a problem with most all hotels
I have always enjoyed the stay. But some nights the people working the front desk have a bad attitude. Sodas are only available from the vending machines now, but feel free to ask the front desk for change. So far this has been my preferred hotel when visiting family and friends in Calexico. The pool is indoors and has a dehumidifier.
Hate is a strong word, dislike is more appropriate.I could hear the conversation in the next room for more than 2 hours. She had every right to talk, I just didnt want to be kept awake by her. The front desk changed my room and in the morning I was awakened by the tv in the next room. This place isnt soundproofed.The room and breakfast both offered bare minimums. I didnt even have a note pad
If you havent discovered the hidden secret about Hampton Inn let me break it down for you... They have the best breakfast in the business. Pressed juices, smoothies, and multiple flavors of waffles... They are the gold standard for complimentary breakfasts. Other hotel chains need to take note.
Ive been staying at the Hampton Inn for two months now. I liked it at first but my admiration has faded drastically. Ill first start with the bland as hell breakfast. The oatmeal interestingly is more of a soup. Oh and the fresh sliced fruit is only watermelon. Cheap! I haven’t tried the rest of the slop the smell is bad enough. The only good thing is the soymilk but is rarely is in stock. Do not drink the dark liquid that may or may not be coffee.My room’s air conditioner is broken and has been since I checked in. I reported this to the front desk four days ago but still nothing was changed. When I reported that nothing has been done, they acted like they had never known about it. I contacted the manager leaving three voicemails but never received a return call. The Hampton Inn’s aim is not putting the customer first!
Nice hotel!! The room great; comfortable bed, big shower, very modern inside too. It had good service and staff. The gym was nice and its close to a lot of restaurants and stores.
Decent place to stay and they provide complimentary breakfast in the morning from 6 am to 10am. Room was good, bed faced the window and the drapes didnt close all the way. Plenty of USB and places to plug in and charge your phones. Like at least 15. Very good to have considering a room at the Bellagio had like 5 of them. Very new hotel and conveniently located bed to a best buy and a shopping center to get your fix of anything. I would stay here again.
Stayed there the same time this year last year, great stay. Hotal was still great, only suggestion, DO NOT get a room by the Elevator. The beeping of the elevator had me up all night long. It was a very restless night of sleep.
No hot hot water, just slightly warm (bearable). Clean. Friendly staff. Vending machines mostly empty and wont take CC. Other than that, it was ok, but a bit expensive considering the above.
I check in 4am and check out 1030am and it was $150. Wow so upset with the price. Price online from them said 89 and now they said they charge $89 plus half day charge. Half charge because I check in before 12pm. That is ridiculous pricing. I cant believe it. If you stay here make sure its 1201pm of the new day. Wow.. I liked Hampton hotels. Time for a new change.
Stayed here while visiting family for Christmas. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly. My only issue was that I couldnt use my Hilton Honors because I booked the room through a third-party
This hotel has been a very big let down. Given the esteemed Hampton Inn name, I was prepared for a great stay with my family.I have been planning this trip for months and had every phase of the trip carefully planned and budgeted. Today is the last day of the trip and we have used up our budget as planned. I made a special point to ask the front desk person who checked us in How much will be reserved on the card since we have already prepaid for the room with Expedia? She said $50. Then she changed it and said $15 would be authorized. I explained this was extremely important to me because we will be returning a rental car tomorrow and we need the funds available on the card.Later when I checked the balance, it was clear the front desk person had authorized not just $15 but the full cost of the room. In any other scenario, I would consider this an honest mistake. But in this scenario, since I took the time to very carefully ask about the amount before I handed over my card, I expected an accurate understanding.This is our 4th hotel of the trip, and this is the only hotel where this happened.I will be adding more to this review when we get home, as well as following up with Hilton and other paths to make our experience known. There are other details as well.
Beds are hard. Check in was quick but interesting. I booked 2 rooms. One needed to be for a handicap person with accessible shower. 1st room (handicapped) was on 2nd floor, North end. Our room was on 3rd floor south end. Dont you think if ppl are coming together and handicapped room only has 1 person, youd put the other room close by for emergency purposes?! Breakfast is included in cost of room. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices -scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, pastries, milk, juice choices, and fresh coffee. A/C works well. When we walked into the room, it came on and cooled the room down quickly. Indoor Pool looked inviting but closed at 10pm. :( .
This is a standard Hampton Inn. I have stayed at Hampton Inns all over the country, and the only thing that stands out about this hotel is the high rates for rooms. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member, and on my most recent stay at this hotel I was invoiced $280 per night. In my opinion, the room rate is too high for a standard Hampton Inn.

Cancelled reservation with no notification. When arrived they sent me to a motel in a very bad part of town. They also cancelled my next 3 days of stay which I had planned with my family. Then they never did anything to make it up and I had to find a hotel in San Diego that was double the price for me to stay at with my family. Being a Hilton Honors member I called and filed a complaint and they promised me a call back. I never received any call back. They only sent me an email saying it was resolved. Extremely unprofessional how the front desk, GM and Hilton Honors handled this entire situation. I still haven’t received any call back.
So far I have had nothing but a great experience staying at the Hampton. The room is great and the people are really friendly. The complimentary breakfast is ok and could use a better variety but I also cant complain about free food. I will be here for about a month so I will update if things change.
Parking was really limited. I was very disappointed by the breakfast the first morning I was there. It was 8 a.m. and there was only a little bit of bacon left. I grabbed the few pieces left and ate them while I hoped more food would be brought out. It wasnt. There was no tea out either and nobody to ask where it might be. Ended up leaving breakfast hungry and not awake. Very disappointed.
Booked 2 rooms for our 1 night stay. When we checked in, the staff had our rooms quite far from one another. After pointing out that the room distance was unacceptable, they put us in rooms directly next door to each other. Not sure why they assigned us so far apart bit they fixed the issue so all was okay. Sam, the desk clerk, was quite helpful.
Hotel is very nice and seems newer. The beds are comfortable. Only problem was with the a/c unit in my room. Every time it turned on it sounded like a lawn mower starting up.

The hotel is practically new with up to date everything (except breakfast-same old selections there). The parking area is fairly small and landscaping is minimal. Staff is friendly and pleasant.
Staff is professional and cordial and will ask if you need anything. The Facility is kept safe and clean with COVID Protocols. I would recommend this Facility with a high degree of satisfaction.

The hotel was horrible. People very noisy. Room was not clean stayed 4 nights bedding never changed. Ac did not work correctly. Room next to use TV was so loud called front desk no answer, walked up to desk no one there had to go outside and rang Bell finally some one came. After they called room stopped for whole...
Great continental breakfast but the lady at the front desk was rude she offered the people in front of us AAA discount and wouldnt give it to us. She also wouldnt honor the online deals and match it which I understand sometimes because of the free purchases from the big websites. But it was not coincidental that she offered the AAA to someone before us and wouldnt offer it to us racism lives on
I had made a reservation for thanksgiving weekend with this hotel thru Expedia. Well, a relative offered their home so I cancelled my reservation in advance within the window we are given to cancel before we get a fee charge. The staff was not helpful at all even after I emailed them proof of my cancellation. I was told by the staff members they can’t refund me my money since it didn’t “show cancelled” on their system. That there must’ve been a glitch receiving the cancellation notification. I told the staff member that that was not my problem that happened. She still made no effort to help me. Hampton staff should’ve done their best to try to fix the problem. I reached out to Expedia and they refunded me the money that Hampton Inn El Centro took out of my bank account. They lost a future guest that would’ve been booking a lot with them since my family lives there. I will be booking with the other two nearby hotels from now on.
Clean new facilities. Super nice employees. A little noisy not well sound proofed from other rooms. Rooms with single beds roomy. Rooms with two beds crowded to be viewed as small.
Brand new hotel located next to a strip mall with lots of great stores. Easy access to the hotel from the freeway although the front part of the parking lot is unfinished. The rooms have nice modern furnishings as well as the rest of the hotel.
I stayed here with my sister and mother and the room was fabulously! I mean fabulously designed! And their beds were amazing and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!
Mostly good, but hallways very hot with lame excuse from housekeeping. Then finding a hair on one of the towels, the head of housekeeping didnt seem to be bothered by that. No apology. Breakfast is just okay.
Fraudulently charged my credit card, double billed my customer and me for coffee and breakfast. Dishonest at worst, incompetent at best. Manager Isabel asked me to stop calling her office and email instead, three days after I emailed them. Hilton dishonours
I (Husband of Meg) am a Viet Nam Vet with both physical and emotional (PTSD) disabilities. I have a trained service dog that pulls me back to reality when I am triggering.The assistant General Manager, Isabel Salinger, flat out refused our stay stating that my disability was not severe enough to warrant a service dog in her hotel. We told her we had papers to prove my disability and need for my dog and she said she wasn’t interested in seeing them.We consequently had to spend the night in our car. I fought for my Country and got thrown out of a hotel by no fault of my own!!!!I would give a negative review, if I could.We have stayed in Hampton Inns all across this wonderful Country and have always been treated with dignity. El Centro should be ashamed of itself for allowing this kind of treatment to someone who left pieces of their body and soul in another Country in the call of duty.
I stayed here when I came back to town to see family. The quality of the service and the facility outpace the town. The staff were friendly and the building was clean. If you reeeeally have to be in El Centro stay here.
I forgot a personal item in the room after I checked out, went to work and was about to leave the area so I called to see if I could retrieve the item from the hotel. The ladys response at the front desk wouldnt said I couldnt get the item until tomorrow cause nobody was there to get it... hows that for accommodating your diamond member. So if your in el centro find a different hotel Im sure other hotels customer service will outshine theirs anyway
Decent. Still working out some kinks. Hallway A/C was down, as was the A/C for the pool room - so pretty dang hot in those areas. Breakfast was OK. Loved the waffles.
The room was very clean the bed was very soft the linen was Crispin white the pills are very comfortable was very impressed the continental breakfast was a variety and it was really good and the staff was very friendly I will definitely come back!

Comfortable room and beds. The sheets were shorted which made it rather uncomfortable. The hallways were warm and humid but Im not sure if anything could have been done about that.
The rooms are large and large screen television the WiFi is a little slow the staffs are great.... snacks are expensive ...large walk-in showers and a very clean room...I would recommend this Inn.

Stayed here multiple times. Heated indoor pool and breakfast bar with lots of items. No bar or restaurant on premises, but close. Close to downtown and freeway 8 in El Centro.

This is my go to stop when I have to stay In the area. Enjoy the Hilton properties and the breakfast is free and decent

This is the best hotel in the valley . I was just dissatisfied this trip . I requested to away from the stairs and elevator that wasn’t fulfilled.

Excellent for being in El Centro its pretty much brand new but the location on the map Google map shows it on the opposite side of the freeway from where its actually located

Pool and Gym are beautiful. I love ❤️ it, theyre really clean and well maintained.Suggestions: They could improve the design/looks of the room and the paint.

2023-09-11 03:45:04Centralized around most things here. Great service. Rooms are new and clean but lack any storage. Not one drawer in the room and a small closet. Not meant for long-term stays. The gym is large with a Peloton bike. Indoor pool. Friendly staff and large breakfast.

2023-11-15 10:35:35Their is t enough parking at this hotel. They just told me to park on the street with my work truck. If I know parking was a issue I wouldve stayed at the Marriott.

2023-04-14 15:57:08The room was nice, especially the bathroom. However when I entered there was a bleach type smell. Someone else on the trip said their room had an odd smell as well. Bed was just alright. They offered a standard complimentary breakfast which I enjoyed.

2023-06-01 22:43:56Cleanest hotel I have stayed at in the entire US...I travel every week catching a flight to a different city every couple of days.Hampton Inn is not my first choice...bit this place was super comfy...quiet...clean..and had everything a traveler would need. If you are in the area dont pas this placeup of you need a great nights rest. Thanks to Robert and the evening staff for everything..especially the awesome cookies!!
