We had a wonderful stay! We stayed in a very comfy and super clean studio. Cleanliness was at the top of my list, so definitely 5 stars for me in this category. I also appreciated the level of security & the hotel staff was very helpful & pleasant. I did give it 4 stars due to the location——the hotel is sandwiched in between a very busy road and a truck stop, however, convenient to fast food, freeway, etc. nonetheless, we had a wonderful stay.
Would highly recommend. Very friendly staff, hotel is beautiful and very clean. Rooms are spacious with plenty of room to set your stuff down. The sheets were soft, no noises outside the room, bathroom was modern and clean with nice toiletries. Breakfast was decent with bags of treats to go. Little store next to front desk to get snacks.

One of the cleanest hotels weve ever stayed at with great customer service! The rooms smelled clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Love the complimentary breakfast, coffee, and the snack / treat room. Definitely recommend this hotel & if ever in the area again, Id stay here. My family loved it too!

We were upgraded to a bigger room. Savanah and the manager were extremely nice and professional. Savanah was very knowledgeable. The room was clean. The breakfast buffet was good.
The pool was EXCELLENT. Im a reptile and always cold. The pool was the perfect bath water temperature. Im sure when its hotter than hades it could be too hot but for me it was heaven. There is no hot tub but I think its worth the trade.The breakfast was great. The cheese omelets were great. They had oatmeal bar, pastries, fruit, sausage and bacon. Everyone that worked at the hotel was amazing and great. Definitely staying here again.
We had car trouble while driving from SF to LA and ended up with an unexpected overnight stay in Gilroy. At the last minute, Hampton Inn hooked us up with a clean quiet room, a place to order some food and some glasses of wine. Plus breakfast and great coffee the next day. The entire staff was incredibly helpful, especially Daniel who checked us in. Would definitely recommend if you need a place to stay here.

This location was very convenient to almost everything surrounding gilroy such as gilroy gardens/outlets/fastfood and gas stations. Being that its close to the freeway I didnt notice traffic noise so it was a great night of sleep. Also Eric in the front desk was very polite and made our stay very pleasant. Everything was clean and the TV in the room is more modern and a plus for our stay compared to others that arent that great and dated. Rooms had a mini fridge for storage and a microwave. The breakfast they have available is fantastic there isnt anything that I can say was negative. 10/10

I had to spend two nights here after my car broke down on the 101 over Labor Day weekend. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, even offering to help me bring things into my room because I was moving at the time. They were also incredibly understanding of my uncertain schedule. Rooms were very clean, housekeeping and breakfast staff were very friendly, and although I didnt use it the pool looked nice as well. If youre staying in Gilroy, you should definitely consider staying here!

Lovely, very well planned, brand new, meticulously clean, amazing hotel - loved every aspect of it. One of the best hotels we have stayed in last 30+ years. Rooms are comparatively big sized with all modern arrangements and bathroom. Wi-fi worked like a charm - never an issue at all. Breakfast - all types of bread, muffins, donuts, apple/orange/cranberry juices, all types of coffee, hot waffles (whomsoever wanting to make them - vanilla + pumpkin one), all fruits (both cut and full), all nicely arranged travel bags, eggs, hash brown, some meat options (being a vegetarian - didnt pay attention), all kinds of butter, cheese, bagel and more. Even a full fledged modern coffee/cappuccino/latte/chai-latte/whatever you want to make machine in the breakfast area serving. Plenty of parking and cars being watched over at night by security (I guess), plenty of sitting area to watch TV on the ground floor, and 2 minutes away from 101 freeway (in Gilroy) - very peaceful location. Water fountain on the ground floor and ice machine on all floors I guess. Customer service - excellent through out. What else does one need - couldnt ask for more. Keep it up guys - we will visit you sometime again..

Recently stayed 3 nights, very pleased. Very clean, modern. Comfy bedding. Good size room. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron plus board. Bath/shower clean, roomy. Towels soft, shampoo etc provided, hair dryer. Buffet breakfast a notch above typical. Security: require room key to enter lobby. Would recommend.

Free breakfast every morning with a great selection like fresh waffles, eggs, bacon, multiple coffees, latte, espresso, pastries, muffins, granola bars, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, etcThe hotel is fairly new so the room & bathroom were clean and well maintained, nice light colors. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows & bedding. Nice big flat screen TV and a nice work area with desk. Room was quiet with no excessive outside or neighbors noise.Located about 2 miles south of the Gilroy Outlet Mall and close to freeway access for day trips.Smooth check in & check out with super friendly staff.Pool area is nice although I didnt get a chance to use the pool.Lobby area had lots of seating is usually quiet and peaceful if need to get some work done.I was here for a wedding but was able to golf at a couple nearby courses.You cant go wrong here and I look forward to many stays here when Im back in the area.
Great clean room, comfy bed and pillows. Very friendly and terrific hot breakfast with an espresso machine in the lobby. No coffee offered any other time than breakfast, which was unfortunate. Parking lot was really small and tight, so it was difficult to park when we came in at night...not enough lights.
This hotel was really nice, we just got done with the boots & brews country festival in Morgan Hill. The service was great walking in and felt appreciated with being a Hilton Honors member. The expresso machine in the lobby was amazing in the morning. The breakfast was good, it was really cool that they had grab & go breakfast bags too.

Stayed here for a night after taking our kids to Gilroy Gardens and I’m impressed at how clean everything was. Our studio suite room looked new and everything was spotless. The shower head flow was nice and strong, a great way to rinse off the sweat from a day at the theme park.Usually our hotel fridges are a bit cooler than room temp, but ours had to be turned down because it was starting to freeze our drinks.We also got a couple free snacks at checkin, and they had complimentary iced cold water bottles in the lobby fridge.We also only met one employee when we checked in on 7/3, but he was exceptionally nice.I’ve never stayed at Hampton Inn before and this won’t be my last time.
This a wonderful hotel! Clean, modern, newly built an with the most wonderful staff. We love it here!My dad stayed here for a few months while he was out here for work. They always went way above and beyond and we keep coming back.

Stayed for a night on our way to Monterey. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great and the room was spacious. We stayed at a couple of Hampton Inn’s during the trip and this location was by far the best!
Very nice stay. Expectations met. Happy. All was great. Small details like welcome xyz was Displayed on the TV in room. (Neat). There were about 10 USB ports in the room! Breakfast was excellent with sack bags ready to go if you want to grab n go. Complimentary bottled water by mini mart fridge. Also, Complimentary chocolate! There is no coffee/tea throughout the day, only during breakfast time. But theres a fancy coffee machine that makes all sorts of drinks. Only complaint is the sliding door feature to the bathroom. Only because I have a toddler who touches everything and the door becomes a toy.
I love staying at Hilton hotels when traveling!This Hampton inn is exceptionally clean and friendly. They are also very accommodating.The rooms are very clean and modern. They even have smart tvs in the guest rooms.I called the front desk to inquire if they had any Advil or Tylenol, and the front desk said yes. I also asked if they could deliver the pain killer tablets to my room and the young woman showed up quickly and was very polite. She even brought up a complimentary bottle of water with the tablets.Thank you for the excellent experience at your hotel!

Positive: Breakfast items were fresh and tasty. Eggs, Bacon, Hashbrowns, Waffles, Juice Dispensing Machine, Coffee Dispensing Machine, Yogurt, etc. Hotel looked very clean, staff was friendly. Negative: Smelly room: My wife and kids didnt know what I was talking about. But when my wife and kids went for breakfast and came back, they smelled what I was talking about. Humid, moldy unpleasant armpit scent, one of my kids even gagged. Dirty AC Filters?
Such a great hotel! Very new, very comfortable from the first step into the door. Desk clerk was very respectful and laid back. Hotel manager walked by and was very respectful. They both exceeded our expectations this evening as well as answering every question promptly. Night security and security cameras every were! I will definitely be staying here more often.
First off, let me say the staff was extremely helpful and greeted well. They also answered all my questions. So this score is not about them, although had they been rude, it would have been lower.The reason for the score is twofold. First, the room even though on the fourth floor ---was very noise impacted at night. We heard the train, trucks and even cars throughout the night and it took a toll on our sleep. We had the curtain and blackout curtain drawn and the AC on to drown out to no avail. The first and most important thing when staying is to get rest.The second reason is that there is some at best confusion, at worst deception on your website. In the pictures that I saw online it showed a full breakfast with hot items. We only got a bag of food to go, necessitating another stop and expense to get a decent breakfast.Secondly, the name of the hotel implies that all the rooms are suites. If you are familiar with Homewood inn & suites, this is the case. Unfortunately, the pictures online led me to again believe the room we were getting was a 2 queen bed suite, not a regular room which is what it was. This led to some more issues when we arrived as our children didnt have much room to move. It would be great if this was more clearly explained.
Daniel at checkin is simply the best hotel staff we met in our entire trip. Extremely customer oriented and very cheerful. Told us all we need to know and more. Room is very very clean and beds so comfortable. Will only stay with Hamptons the next time I visit USA.
Wonderful stay at Hampton Inn Gilroy, CA. The entire property was spotless, no black mold anywhere. The staff were kind and welcoming. Gilroy might seem out of the way but it was super convenient for our needs.
The hotel is new or almost new but everything inside is still new they keep good maintenance.Thank you have a very good night sleep with a wonderful breakfast in the morning

I originally planned to stay at this hotel for a couple of weeks for business. But, it was immaculate. The people there were caring and bent over backwards to make my stay comfortable and carefree.When my business trip was extended to 3 months in Gilroy, I had no hesitation continuing my stay at the Hampton Inn in Gilroy. They were kind enough to move me into a room that fit my business needs better at the same time.As the end of my stay approached, I fell at work and severely injured my leg 4 days before I was due to leave.Upon learning of my injury, they met me at the front door with a wheelchair and delivered me to my room. If that was not enough, they all made it their business to check in on me from time to time and make certain that I had anything that I might need.One person went so far as to go to a store and purchase an insulated container to keep a quantity of cold drink near me as I tried to move as little as possible.When I finally left for home, I was sad to leave. I had a superlative stay and was sad to leave the Hampton inn whose quality staff almost felt like family.I highly recommend the Hampton inn in Gilroy CA.

Behind the times with breakfast, covid excuse doesnt work when all other hotels are now back to serving hot breakfasts. Signs to wear masks are everywhere but not honored by staff. I had a fantastic stay, the front desk staff was so friendly, the room was absolutely PERFECT! Although youre near the freeway, you cant hear a thing and the room had a great view of the hills. I also cant wait to come back when breakfast is open. I was looking to visit Santa Cruz, San Jose and Morgan Hill so this was such a perfect location. Only stayed a night and forgot to take pictures but wed always come back, even for a bit longer. The rooms are modern / clean and the front desk is friendly. All in n all nothing to complain, especially considering the reasonable price
First of all, the employees are nice. Savanah and the gentleman working morning shifts the morning of March 3rd and 4th are very accommodating. The housekeepers are nice too. The building is super clean, it is also a new building. Hand sanitizer and wipes are everywhere. Gloves available at the front desk. Although the amenities are closed due to covid it is still a good experience. The food can be improved. Too much sugar. They are pastries packed individually which is good. I took my breakfast a bit late at 9am so I am not sure if they have better choices earlier that morning. The coffee machine is superb! I highly recommend and I will defenitely come back.

The front desk manager Eric was awesome. There was a mix up with Expedia booking us incorrectly and he was super on top of it. Honoring a veterans discount as well as the discount we would’ve gotten from our Expedia reservation. The rooms are the cleanest rooms I have stayed in. The staff is super nice and helpful. They even have a Gilroy taco map of all the taco spots to eat at while you’re here. I can’t express enough how amazing this hotel is. Highly recommend.
Eric Gebhardt (manager) and his staff went out of their way to be helpful and to do eveything to make our stay stress-free. Unbelievably accommodating and kind from pre-stay to departure. We were in Gilroy for our daughters wedding and with all the details and responsibilities we had, Eric and his desk staffs kindnesses made things so much easier for us. Forever grateful.
Brand new hotel - Super friendly staff and spotless room with kitchenette - counter, sink, coffee and refrigerator. Stayed two nights - Excellent Wifi.Only issue was refrigerator was turned on high and all food froze and needed to be tossed (Salads and fruit)
It was meh, nothing too interesting, just a hotel off the freeway for convenience. Strange guy stared at us leaving our car when we arrived late at night from across the hotel. The night front desk agent was not very friendly.

This hotel was sooo nice. The rooms were really nice, the bathroom was really nice. The lobby was really nice. The pool looked amazing. Be aware that Gilroy is inland California and was super hot. There was a heat advisory in the area. But I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Wish I could have stayed longer.
Eric, the general manager of this hotel was unbelievably kind when I made reservations on the wrong day by accident. He gave me a room for the night for a similar price even though it was a holiday weekend and the rates had doubled. He also helped me to park my RV in a closed overflow parking area which he opened just for me. Fantastic room, brand new hotel, very very friendly staff, I will stay here again for sure.
We just finished a California vacation from north in the Redwoods all the way down Hwy 1. THIS was my favorite hotel my family stayed in. There arent many food places close by, but the hotel and rooms were modern and very comfortable!

The place is new but not welcoming at all. The doors are locked and you have to talk to the front desk through a phone. Very unpleasant. To top it off the rate was 202.00 for a 2 star hotel. Who do they think they are the Westin in a destination place? I dont think Gilroy is Los Angeles. Not good.

It was newly remodeled, so it was clean and there was a free water bottle in the lobby refrigerator, and the multi selection coffee machine prepared in the morning was impressive.

The hotel appears clean at the entrance but after entering:the seats in the hall are dirty, greasy, stained and above all dangerous, I injured my finger with a nail coming out of the seat (I am still waiting for the report of the incident that I was promised by email), in the rooms hair stains are legion, moreover given the overwhelming smell of garlic which is prevalent in the city it would be wise to put filters in the hotel so that customers are not inconvenienced by this smellfinally the hotel is noisy
Hotel was tidy, rooms large and clean. Staff friendly, breakfast you can get for free, everything from cardboard and a poor selection. Hotel is a bit out of the way. OK for one night.

Breakfast with choice, and fresh fruit salad and breakfast to take away for early departures. Extra clean and well soundproofed room, in short, go there without worries.
It was clean and the staff were friendly.I deliberately chose the room as a place with a desk, and it was useful. Its close to gilroy garden, and it was nice to find a restaurant you like around old gilroy and eat. There is also a laundry room and the shower is fixed.
During our round trip the most modern hotel of Hampton Inn. Friendliness and service very good. Breakfast USA standard. Unfortunately there are no restaurants nearby.
Not clean hotel, we moved from a king room to a king suite and in both cases the room smelled bad and was not clean. The elevators are dirty, the reception floor is dirty and the breakfast was served in a slightly different way from the rest of the chain hotels, almost everything is wrapped in personal cellophane, less tasty by and large.At the same time, the hotel is close to primume outlet gilroy a ten minute drive and Monterey and Carmel are about half an hour away.It is important to note that the reception staff were very helpful and kind, but as I mentioned, the hotel in general smelled bad and this was reflected mainly in the rooms.

2023-09-12 04:55:29The staff earned 5 stars on our first night! They lock the external doors since the area isnt the best; however, the hotel is awesome. Its clean and the friendly, attentive staff goes above and beyond that of most hotels. I would stay there again, I recommend it to others, and enjoyed the chocolates!

2023-08-29 23:59:59Positive: Friendly staff clean rooms clean linens. Great service. I love that there us free milk and water. Great air conditioning. Negative: The bed was very hard. The bathroom door did not seal at all. With a weak fan and a not secure closing barn door there was an issue with bathroom privacy.

2023-09-23 15:23:09As you walk in its beautiful. They have a little snack and drink area available for purchase, and free bottles of water. Check-in was easy and the lady was so kind!! I got into my room and it looked beautiful. The beds and bathroom were clean, it was a little stuffy but that quickly went away when I got the air going. It wasnt till after that I saw, the soap dispensers in the sink area were coming off the wall. There was a night light but it never worked and upon inspection, the bulb was burnt. The floor and carpet were clean and passed the white sock test, but none of the corner areas were clean. There were little hairs in most of the corners. The sink was missing a piece of the fixture and it looked built up and gross. The water pressure in the shower was good till you turned on the shower head. Only half the water was coming out because it was so built up with calcification. Then the beds... to me they were hard, I know its a preference, but it was too hard for me, my back was stiff when I woke up. When you turn the lights out to sleep, there is so many bright lights still in the room, didnt look as if you shut anything off. Between the gap at the bottom of the door, microwave, air conditioner and clock, there was no where to turn where it was just dark. Even covering with towels was a bust, it showed how thin the towels were. The cover they have over the comforter was ruff and scratchy. For what I paid for the room, it was lacking for sure. Breakfast was good, loved the waffles!! But for this experience, I will not be back to this hotel.

2023-07-27 11:40:54The hotel itself was clean and updated. The staff was friendly. Our room was spacious and a very nice bathroom. The bed was a little firm. They have free bottles of water and a decent breakfast. The area was less than desirable. Right off the highway and not much selection for food. The parking lot was very small and had an overflow parking lot where there were a bunch of men standing around, made me feel uncomfortable, although they do have a night security guard. Definitely overpriced.

2023-08-26 13:33:51This Inn has been meticulously modernized. Rooms, parking lot, breakfast area, elevators were all spotless. Lots of electronic outlets. Great beds. Beautiful bathroom. Great lighting.People at reception and in breakfast area were friendly.Highly recommend and will stay here again when I am anywhere nearby.

2023-08-20 09:44:50Excellent service, friendly, they offered us free ice cold water bottles upon check-in. Nicely designed. Security in the parking lot. Very clean, probably the cleanest weve stayed in. The complimentary breakfast was varied and well attended. No complaints, Id return here in a heartbeat next time Im in the area.

2023-08-23 15:32:42General manager helped us out for an early morning check in, after unloading cars at Monterey car week. He is the best, along with the 2 women working in the kitchen.Front desk girls were very helpful and friendly.Easy access to 101 freeway.Rooms clean and the entire property is spotless.You can tell they take pride in their business.As a truck driver with millions of dollars worth of cars on board, he will let you use the overflow lot that has cameras.Great stay and will definitely be back.

My husband and stay in countless Hiltons and this Hampton Inn was just perfect.Super clean and nice and fresh, great room / bed, free water, lovely pool, and a fantastic gym! I definitely recommend this hotel.

2023-07-24 15:21:43Its time to update and clean. When we first arrived, the front desk was right near the door, and its small. I went to put lotion on in my room, put the toilet seat down, and dried urine was all over it. The service was outstanding, but the chairs were dirty, the walls, its really time to steam clean everything and be prepared for the incoming guests.

2023-06-26 00:08:50Pros- staff was SUPER friendly and professional. Everything was well kept and clean. Security of the facility was nice as its not in the greatest part of town.Cons- i purposely got the suite at 300$ a night (which was already overpriced) hoping that it would result in a more comfortable bed. I suffer from back problems, and I could have laid on the floor and had the same feel. We got put on the highway side of the building so every time a semi truck drove by the room would shake a bit. There was no bath tub, so no where to bath my 4 year old. No hot tub. Which was strange. And maybe my luck but booked a time when a TON of contractors were staying there... loud stomping around upstairs until 1 am. Cases of beer bottles left in the ice machine room every night we were there. And no parking if they were all there.I ended up cutting our vacation short and coming home a day early because I needed sleep. We informed the staff and they stated they would support hilton to give us our money back for the final day. If they hadnt done that this would be a 1-2 star... but I felt they were very considering for our circumstances.
