Awesome place with great sushi. You will not disappointed when coming here. Service is excellent and the miso soup and shrimp tempura is great to.I got #2 #20 #18 & #23 from their House Special Rolls! Amaaazing!

I saw the wonderful reviews and how delicious their food look from fellow Google reviewers and thought I should check it out, which I did. The restaurant is well maintained, clean and spacious. Customer service was great and food were served pretty quickly.In terms of food, I thought they were not spectacular. There are definitely better sushi places. We ordered the beef teriyaki, sashimi roll and shrimp soy paper roll.- Beef teriyaki: This was probably my favorite dish of that day. Sauce were not too salty and with a slight touch of sweetness. The steak were juicy and fresh. It also came with a miso soup, how good was the miso soup? Well, lets just say that I didnt leave a single drop of the soup when I was done with my meal.- Sashimi roll: This was alright, sashimi were fresh, but I think the sushi rice could be better. They didnt feel tasty enough and rice were kind of sticky.- Shrimp soy paper roll: This was the most disappointing out of the bunch. There were just lots of meat but the they tasted really bland and again, the sushi rice was mediocre. I didnt taste any soy in this shrimp soy paper roll. Interesting.I believe I might have just ordered the wrong dishes, so I would be updating my review when I have tried the other dishes. I believe that when a restaurant achieves a rating of 4.5 or higher after 155 reviews, there must be a good reason for it. Therefore, I would revise my review after a couple of visits later in the near future to give a more accurate and fair review.

Every time I come to El Segundo, this is the place to go. The food quality and prompt attention and service is outstanding. I always sit at the sushi bar and talk with Johnathan, whose knowledge of all things fish is extensive and entertaining. They have a good selection of Sake to accompany their extensive menu. Im always hopefully they will be stocking my favorite...uni, always fresh, aways mouth wateringly delicious.

Food is delicious but the service sucks. I went to dinner with my mom yesterday for Mother’s Day and I ordered 2 crunch rolls for each of us and a California roll for us to share which I told the server and I saw a roll sitting at the bar for almost 15 minutes and I knew it was our California roll but the server didn’t bring it to us. Even though I told her we were sharing it. It took almost an hour for us to get any food. The waitress could have at least brought us the California Roll (that I said we were sharing) while we waited for the 2 crunch rolls. The server then told us they were short staff which isn’t an excuse. It’s Mother’s Day. If you’re short staff, don’t be open. Don’t use it as an excuse. I’m trying to enjoy a Mother’s Day dinner with my mom.

We celebrated our 36th anniversary here with the kids. We’ve been taking our family to Hana Haru since the kids were little. My elder daughter and I both had chirashi bowls.

Great 👍👌food, great service. My hubby and I visited this spot on Valentines Day. Didnt wait long and they didnt disappoint. Ryan was our server and he was great 👍

I was very disappointed our rolls were falling apart and nothing looked like it was advertised. I had the chicken terriaki and tempura dinner tasted and looked more like dry turkey with sauce poured over it. The worse part was I stepped out while my family finished eating the overpriced rolls that falling apart b4 you even touched them, I watched the sushi chef walk in after smoking a cigarette put on his apron and start preparing more rolls. Now I know why and will never eat here again. Very sad because it was our last dinner before we sent our daughter on her flight home.

My family did enjoy the Sashimi Bowl, Ramen, Miso Soup and other things we ordered!

Friendly staff. Standard American sushi restaurant. Tempura had too much batter, not light and flaky like real Japanese tempura.
