Upon looking at the other reviews I was excited to try the food. Unfortunately when I came to try for myself it wasn’t anything like the reviews. We started off with edamame which wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. We then ordered a California roll, Spider roll, Salmon roll, and the Ramen.The spider roll had LETTUCE!!!! Who puts lettuce in sushi? It was not good. The ramen had undercooked egg, and CORN. Who puts corn in ramen, because it was gross. The noodles were slimy, and bland. The broth was okay. The server was very kind, and the soda was wonderful. Honestly the soda was my favorite part about this place. Overall this place is a 2/5. Definitely won’t come again.

We stopped by here for dinner and truly was not disappointed. The staff was really friendly and attentive. The hot tea tasted fresh and rejuvenating. The food tasted excellent as well especially the Beef Teriyaki. The only downside is that it feels a little tight inside as the floor space is relatively smaller than other comparable establishments. We were ok with this and if you are too, you should definitely go here for a meal.

This was my first time eating here and I already cant wait to come back. The food was great and so was the service. The service was a little slow to order, but it was also super packed with one waitress who managed to get everything we asked for and with a wonderful smile. The waitress was super sweet and despite being busy made sure we had everything and was happy. The food was tasty! I had the teriyaki tofu and the veggie tempura, both absolutely delicious. I dont care much for how my food is presented just as long as its good, but it was presented so beautifully it brought a smile to my face and made me take a picture! Average price for sushi (about $50 for 2 people, however we always order a tad too much). The fresh squeezed lemonade is delicious!My only real complaint is how small it is and how close the tables are to each other. I could definitely overhear the people next to us, not even 2 feet away.

We were starving, so we ordered from Hana via Door Dash. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. It came super quick, too, so we really appreciated that.The reason for the 4 stars is that they did not provide us with any soy sauce. You see how much suishi we had? There was not a single packet. Thank God we keep soy sauce at home, or we would have had to go to the store, and that would have been very disappointing.

Second time Ive been in town on business. They do not disappoint. I did a Ramen / Sushi tour while in town for a week. Visited 5 different restaurants. This one is one of the top 1-2. Prices are good. Food came out promptly. Had a small wait the second time, busy at lunch. It is a smaller restaurant, fills quickly.

The food was good and the waitress was nice. But when our order was messed up we were still charged for the mistake. Even though we clearly informed her of the mistake when it was brought out. Instead she took a cheaper item off which made no sense. Like I said food was great but the mistake was unfortunate. I definitely informed her that this was something she should be more clear on in the future so that customers were not upset.

The best youll get out of this place is atmosphere.Wife and I came here to try out a new Japanese restaurant because it the 4.5 star review. How it got that, I will never know.For starters: I told them no seaweed, no fish cakes, and no union in my ramen. Simple enough right? My food gets to the table with everything on it. I thought no big deal. Just tell them to fix it. They take the ramen back and about 5 minutes later, they bring it back and low and behold weve got seaweed in the ramen. At this point I just pick the seaweed out and eat it. When the ramen hit my tongue I tasted absolutely nothing. No flavor at all. Bad experience.Now onto my wifes plate! She ordered teriyaki bento box and the teriyaki was nothing but fat!Terrible food. Messed up my order twice. Still paid full price. Would never recommend.

This was a very enjoyable experience! Hana sushi will probably be our go to spot in our town. The sushi was very tasty and the presentation was great! The only gripe I have is that it is a very small place. The tables are also quite small. If youre a tiny person youll probably be quite comfortable. Prices were also not terrible. All in all, we will definitely be back. My two rolls that I ordered, the OMG roll and the Warriors roll were huge!!! Very tasy!!! 4.5 starts in my book!

First time going to this restaurant; it was a lovely experience! Immediately gotten seated and the waitress was quick about ordering my food and bringing it in a prompt fashion. The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable! I ordered a Bento box ($16.95, and comes with soup too) and the presentation is adorable! The rice heart was a surprise for me, but very much appreciated! Sushi is fresh and I especially like the beef teriyaki. They also do take out, which is convenient if you want to order during a busy day!

I was craving for Takoyaki and searched Google for nearby restaurants and I found Hana. The place looked so plain and boring outside but when you get inside the ambiance is so Japanese even the music played in the background.I love the lady who served us which I forgot to ask for her name. She is so sweet and polite too. She looked Japanese but I am not sure.The food is superb tasty! Since I am craving for takoyaki I ordered that, one grilled salmon teriyaki bowl, and one bowl of ramen for my husband. The place is a bit simple and small, but then I love the food and I will surely come back here.

Were there occasionally on Saturday about 3 pm and were happy to get in without waiting line. Some spaces were available. Pretty good variety in menu. We ordered 5 rolls and waited for our order about 10 min and got all at tge same time. The order for 2 with hot tea and no alcohol cost us about $65. Because of their celebration got 1 roll (8pcs) for free additionally. All were soooo good that we couldnt say which one was better. Definitely recommend.

I really wanted to try this place out because I saw that it had japanese curry on their menu. I ordered my dinner thru their online service and it was very easy to work with. Unfortunately, upon completing my order, restaurant staff called to say that there was no curry! They did refund me the money so that was appreciated. When picking up my order, I saw the staff wearing masks and gloves which is reassuring in these COVID times.My order ended up being a tonkatsu rice plate, fried gyoza, a crunchy roll and a dancing spicy tuna roll. The fried gyoza was not as crispy as I would have liked. I really liked the dipping sauce it came with, it had a subtle spicy taste mixed with the salty flavor. The tonkatsu plate was very mediocre to me. The katsu was not very crispy and very dry. The katsu sauce really saved the dish for me. The small side of salad was very tasty, I really enjoyed the sweet salad dressing. The two sushi rolls I had were also very good. The spicy tuna roll definitely had a little kick and the crunchy roll was actually and surprisingly crunchy for a sushi roll! Both rolls held up well even when dipped in soy sauce, though I found myself dipping them more in the gyoza sauce.Overall, I was not overly impressed with the food but not disappointed either. I can see myself coming back here for sushi and definitely for curry should they have it. The service seemed good also so I would like to try other dishes in a more sit down experience.

I used to like this restaurant alot. But last week, I was very disappointed to the lady with a ponytail who served me and my family.We came in first to the table and sat down to order. I told the server that we are ready to order due to the fact that we are hungry. While I was ordering, she got mad and started to leave saying, youre not ready to order! So she left and started serving the other table.I will never ever, come back again in this restaurant. The lady was very rude. I hope they have good people with good customer service next time. Nevertheless, the food is not bad.

Not a seafood person BUT they offer more. I dont mind non-seafood sushi, like avocado and cucumber rolls, maybe Ill try a cooked tuna roll--Ive only ever entertained the idea of cooked tuna since I used to eat tuna sandwiches as a kid. Im practically a borderline vegetarian but occasionally eat chicken. The chicken dishes are great. I prefer the variety you can pick from when ordering bento boxes. This is a great place to order appetizers and small things to share. I much prefer that than ordering entrees. Service was great and they were attentive.

My group of 3 adults and an 11 year old stopped in for lunch. We were anticipating a 4.5 star (Google rated) meal... but can only give this place a 3, maybe a 3.5...Bento boxes and sushi were average taste and quality. Service was less than average. Waitress showed little interest in being helpful and patient with the ordering process. The lunch special menu, itself, was confusing too. All in all, an average sushi restaurant. The bill came to $60, no drinks, no dessert. Well try another Fairfield CA sushi restaurant next time.

Hana has been a rock with not only staying open during the ups and down of the pandemic, but providing quality Japanese cuisine.We ordered Dinner to go, pick-up time was scheduled, and I was greeted when entering. They are always timely, and pleasant to interact with.Once Home, we started to unpack our Dinner selections and began to notice some concerns with the end product quality. Its just one of those kind of events where you just dont feel like eating as you go along if that makes sense ...I placed a call back to the restaurant, and discussed my concerns with an Employee who was empowered to make decisions. I offered to return our Dinner selections, and was told that wasnt necessary. Several options were offered to us to satisfy our needs. We decided to accept their offer to dine-in, or pick-up Dinner another time in the future.We still believe their business model is solid, and will continue to support this local business.

We just happened to stop here when another restaurant we wanted to eat at was closed. We are soooo happy we ate here instead. The restaurant is adorable, chill music,the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. The fish was so fresh and the sushi was beautifully served. Not impressed. 悪いGot the Travis roll... the shredded grilled meat (pork?) inside tasted burnt, so the whole roll just tasted that way. Got my daughter a kids bento... all it was was a huge mound of rice, 6 pieces of California roll (the main she asked for), and a mochi that was really grainy. No veggies or anything. I didnt like her roll either, it tasted very fishy for a California roll. The mizo soup we got was ok, but there was no seaweed in it and my daughter didnt even finish hers (and she likes mizo). I got a bento with grilled mackerel, orange chicken, rice, and a ginger salad. The plain rice and the salad were the best parts. 😒 The mackerel had no seasoning and was slightly burnt and was very greasy. The orange chicken was dry, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours, and WAY over flavored with the sauce. We also ordered a Ramune and had to ask for it twice.We didnt get sick, so I give it 2 stars, but we wont be going back.まずいです。 Mazui desu.

Usually I will wait a few days before I post a review, but I wanted to share some thoughts on this small cozy neighborhood spot. Decor, taste of food, plating, service and overall experience deserves a 5 start review. For a small place that is not in the prestige part of town, this joint is absolutely an amazing experience. You may not expect it, but it will surprise you in all the best ways. If you want that high end looking waiting staff, you will not get it, but you will get a smile and great food with it, and what else can you ask for? Just go and try it, you will not be disappointed.

Ive lost count of how many times Ive come here, but each and every time, my experience has been worth every penny, including the tip. The rates are very reasonable. The food is delicious, fresh and served timely and the staff is wonderful. The chefs take pride in what they present and will patiently explain what youre eating, if you sit at the sushi bar and ask them. Cant even complain about the customers. Ive been turned on to new dishes based on customer recommendations. Hana has earned a loyal and faithful customer in me.

Food was ok. Service was ok. Nothing to write home about. Nothing special. Ill give it one more try. I had the bento box with tonkatsu and grilled mackerel. Tonkatsu was thin and dry. The mackerel had a funny smell to it.What actually annoyed me the most was the trip to the bathroom. They use part of the hall way as storage and it was actually difficult to walk through. Id hate to see a fire break out and people get trapped because of the clutter.

There was one server for the whole (admittedly small) restaurant. She was very busy. Poor thing. She did a brilliant job helping my friend decide on a dish (her first time at a Japanese place), and was always right on time with a refill on tea for me. Food was amazing. The food has always been fresh and very tasty. I really liked the warm garlic edamame as I have never had anything like it before. I liked the takoyaki as it brought me back to the last time we were in Japan (I was sad not to see the Katsuobushi flakes on these delicious guys). The sake has been wonderful whether we order it at room temperature, hot, or cold. We both highly recommend this tucked away restaurant.

We ordered the Carnival sushi boat which is a combination of Chicken teriyaki, Salmon, Pot stickers, California rolls, and Vegetable tempura, Miso soup, and a bowl of rice. Wow, it was just perfect for us two and they were delicious. The service was quick and we got a free ice cream just for checking in online. We would definitely come back to try their other specialty items.

I have had the sushi rolls and bento boxes a few times now and they are good but not the best when it comes to the sushi and the price to what you get is kind of upsetting. 8 peices for $10 is a little high but they were not as good as some I have had in the local area. The boxes were also small amount of food even though when you see the box it looks like they have should have more food. I wish I would have taken a picture. But the food is good but I dont like going out to eat and feeling like I didnt even eat them seeing a bill be $30.

This was the perfect dinner after a long, fun day of golf at Yocha Deche (Cache Creek)! I have to be honest though, my wife said her slice of squid (or octopus) was a bit tough, not like the last time she had it. Other than that, another great meal...thank you Hana!!!

From the start, one of the cups they gave us had blue paint in the water glass. i dont even know how that could happen. But we stayed i wish we didnt . if i dont get sick i will be happy i ate the california rolls mediocre but not ghastly . Took one bite of an alaska worst tasting slimey salmon ive seen at a sushi place. Then had a teribble experience leaving. customer service is horible. i defientaley wouldnt go back. the health depeartment needs to pay this place a visit dont get food poisioned.
