I be craving to come here I always get chicken shrimp steak with veggies n white rice . Make sure you tell them u want your food well done I always have to tell them that everytime I come they do it but that’s why I give them 4 stars lol . One taste 👅 n you will return for more .

I checked online to see what time they closed. It said it closes at 10:15 on Sunday. We walked into the location at 9:00pm. The person at the cashier started yelling saying they were closed. I processed to tell him it says 10:00pm online. He just kept saying they were closed and to get out.

First off, super thick Asian accent to me just means its even more authentic.I myself so thought he was rude, but the man is not rude at all, he is just swamped with orders and is trying to get to the point.Food is surprisingly good for how simple it is; meat (shrimp, beef, lobster), fried rice, green veggies (broccoli, zucchini, onions), and brown sauce.The Gyoza is a must order, theyre crispy and full of flavour, I could eat 20 of those.Dont have a picture of my order of those because I inhaled those instantly.Ill definitely be going back.My order was a take out order btw and I ordered over the phone. Food was ready in 20min.

My husband just worked a 15 hour shift, and I ordered thinking this place was good. After I read the reviews I was so scared! I thought I had bought my husband some junk. I’m not sure where the bad reviews came from? Maybe it’s because I didn’t get to meet the cranky employees? I don’t think I would order the chow mein again, nothing special. But I ordered him white rice with steak, chicken and I ordered some extra teriyaki and some habanero sauce. I did not mind paying the extra $.50 it’s no big deal….. I just popped open this thing to make sure I knew what I was going to put in front of him and I thought it was pretty good! Maybe I caught it on a good day but I would order again. Probably not visit in person just so I didn’t have to deal with the cranky employees.

The food is good. Come around lunch time it is less crowded. They are in need of a cook so the service can be slow anytime other than lunch time. Great place for a quick lunch or a sit down dinner

I was surprised to find a Japanese Habichi style restaurant here in Compton. I decided to try it to evaluate it in comparison to what most consumers know as your typical Benihana type of restaurant minus the cooking presentation. I found it to be quite comparable at a fraction of the cost. The food was fresh, the portion generous, and the taste was exactly what it would be from a higher end and more expensive hibachi experience. I recommend all to try who like this style of Japanese food, minus the presentation. The value and taste simply cant be beat.

The Healthy, tasty food. Grilled to order gets 5 Stars. Customer service 0. Charging for their tiny containers of garlic sauce 50 cent instead of including them with the order after I spent 55$ its just rude & bad busniss. Its nikle & diming the custumer. & not good for repeat busniss. I assume I could have traded this girl the 4 hot sauces thar she allready put in without asking that are gonna end up in the garbage. But it wasnt worth my time.

First, this is NOT SHRIMP TEMPURA! First experience, not the best one. My food was not packaged well and what little sauce was on the food, landed in the bag. I ordered the 3-meat combo, with double Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp lightly succeed in Teriyaki sauce. The portion sizes are questionable. The pre-frozen breaded shrimp they included as my side of shrimp tempura, was disappointing. I also ordered spring rolls. Which were also pre-frozen and not fresh. The chicken and shrimp was good. The side of shrimp fried rice was simply rice and a couple of bits of diced shrimp. Overall the food was marginally just ok. Nothing special, not horrible. If I had to eat again, I would order. But, wouldnt be high on my list. Just not what I anticipated with Teppanyaki.

Not bad food, could be better overall though.What really bothered me the most is the amount of onions in my entree. As you can see in the picture, this is nearly half the entree considering the bottom half of the plate was all rice. I understand you want to season your food but this is more like seasoning onions with steak and vegetables here.Then I wasnt allowed to substitute salad for rice when rice is so much cheaper? No, the only way I can substitute salad is by paying extra for soup? Oh wait, salad is like completely iceberg lettuce with a couple slivers of red onion...The food was good, except the salad and the onions, but I doubt Ill be coming back though...Im not a big fan of paying for stuff that I know Im not going to eat anyway.

Delicious food. Nothing like Benihanas except it is teppanyaki style.We ordered the D11 which was a choose 2 plate. We got steak and shrimp and steak and scallops, we paid extra for fried rice and the filet mignon. We ordered tempura, 2 sides of chicken, and 2 sides of mushrooms. The food is drenched in a teriyaki sauce that is tasty, but pretty one dimensional as everything we ordered was covered in it. Meal does not include soup, salad, and they dont have dipping sauces. Ordered the tempura which was fried in dirty grease, left much to be desired.Service was ok. Its a 2 man crew so they dont have the luxury to converse and they forgot my soup so I had to go back and make the guy remember that I ordered a soup (which I paid extra for!)

Normally I look at reviews before I eat somewhere. The food looked better than it tasted. Cuz Im cheap and didnt want to throw it away, i decided to eat it. I ate half my meal and my stomach started to hurt. As soon as my stomach started to hurt I threw the rest away. About 30 min later I was on the toilet for about 30 min. Again a couple more times that night.

The food is delicious, especially the Sesame Chicken. The horrible attitude from one of the cooks/cashier was awful.UPDATE 06/26/2022:I order the Sesame Chicken again, but this time with chow mein. It was just okay and not fresh tasting at all. They use to give nugget size chicken bites. Now, they serve popcorn size chicken. I still got the same funky attitude I got the last time I ordered from here. Unless they start serving fresh food, bite size Sesame Chicken, and lose the funky attitude, I wont be getting food from here again.

Let me start of by saying I usually don’t post reviews I only read them. I compelled to write this review because the owner of this establishment has the worse customer engagement and is undeserving. After paying for two combo plates and spending $40 my order was wrong. I ordered door dash near the time of the establishment closing so I was unable to let the establishment know about my missing items. I called the next day and the owner was basically yelling and implying that I was lying about my order being wrong I was shocked to say the least. I don’t ask for my money back at any point only for my order to corrected. The owner asked me to bring the order that I got the night before to the location in Compton. I live on the South Bay and would have liked credit for another time. Somehow this was asking for way to much the owner hung the phone in my face and refused to answer when I called back. He took my $40 which is over priced anyways my shrimp was missing, streak burned and rice saltier than a Himalayan salt lamp. I feel so robbed. How does a person like that continue to make money in a business treating his customers in such a harsh way. He literally stole from me and my family. And I’m sure this is how he always behave when engaging with customers. Never will I ever tolerate this kind of behavior. I don’t know why they have 4.3 stars on here ridiculous. I guess everyone likes getting their money taken by and undeserving rude as hell business owner good luck the food ain’t all that good.

They gave me old shrimp and I could not get my money back due to no money back policy.They cook old food. My other friend told me not to eat their and I thought she was over extrating, but she was not. The fish is old.I didn’t feel like arguing. Today was my 1st time trying this place, I came across it on postmates yesterday and said I will try it today. The pictures looked great food looked delicious. Today at lunch I went over, the girl at the register could have been a bit more friendly. Being that it was my 1st time I had a few questions, which she seemed bothered by. While paying for my food a phone order came in for a Lunch Special. I stepped back to look at the menu because I didnt recall seeing anything about a lunch special. All I saw was dinner, apps, & drinks. I asked her why was the Lunch Special she told me it was up there. I asked her if the menu is supposed to scroll or anything because it was there. She said no then pulled out a pamphlet menu and show me the section tht said lunch. I then advised her that this was not up there. I over spent on my meal by purchasing a dinner because the in store menu only offered that option. Regard it did not matter, I was still super excited to try. Everything was great once I got home, opened up my container & began eating my food. I was more than halfway done when my fianceè had a bother look on his & was holding something in his fingers up for me to see. I couldnt see anything & told him so he came closer & there it was, a blondish colored strand of hair 🤦🏽‍♀️🤮. I was so disappointed because at this point in my meal I was excited that I had found a new food place close to my home. He was very upset and disappointed that he had someones hair in his mouth, he decided to go back to the restaurant and to address the situation and let them know that they need to wear hair nets. He requested a refund where he was met with you probably put that in there yourself. This type of service is totally unacceptable, as a business this is not the response or approach you should take with your consumers. He was then offered for them to cook another meal & I knw some customers may feel okay thts acceptable, but I mean why would you want another meal with possibly another hair?🤔 The establishment consistantly refused to honor a refund, and my fianceè refused a new meal. The issue was not resolved & they have lost a potential new customer with the horrible way they reacted to the situation. The food was good minus the hair if you still choose to patronize this establishment. Goid luck.
