Hot dry noodle (热干面) is not authentic, maybe it’s hard to find those raw noodles in the US. Skewers are amazingly good. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.

The best skewer to order here is the stinky tofu in my opinion. Some other skewers I recommend are lamb, king oyster mushroom, gizzard, corn, and fish balls. The beef was a bit too dry and chunky for me. Its probably healthier for you since it isnt as fatty but I dont prefer it. The lamb was juicier and more flavorful. I think Id come back here for the stinky tofu though since its harder to find at other locations. I also ordered the hot dry noodle which was simple but good, pretty much what I expected. The portion was pretty large.

Pretty good variety of things to try on a skewer. The seasoning is very cumin dominant with some red chili powder for spice. All of the skewers had this seasoning and tasted similar. The noodle bowls were definitely a good palate cleaner between rounds of skewers. Great for family style with multiple people so you can try many dishes.The interior is cozy and the tables are a bit small

The food is just... Horrible. Worst food I had in a few years.I was really happy to find Hankow food as Hankow is my hometown and its rare to find Hankow food in U.S. I ordered $60 but I left most of the food unfinished.The BBQ is not fresh, I think they just reheat the precooked BBQ - so its really dry and taste unfresh. I was surprised that 6 scallops are sold for only $12. But the low price comes with a reason - its not fresh, and my stomach feels uncomfortable after trying 2 scallops.

Came here for the duck neck (which was amazing), and found the chicken heart skewers and lamb skewers great too! Authentic Chinese. Try the szechuan noodle if you like sesame and spicy sauce.

Oysters didnt taste fresh, and its garlic sauce didnt serve the purpose of covering that unfresh taste. The skewers didnt feel like being cooked after we placed the order. They served all skewers at once, and some are not hot enough, some are not tender enough.

We came here for dinner, a long time since our last visit before COVID. The restaurant is now newly renovated, with a clean bathroom and cleaned up dining area. We tried a few old time favorites: hot dry noodles, beef noodles, a few skewers and the eggs and rice pancake. Only the hot dry noodles is still decent. Beef noodles is super salty and not flavorful, skewers were average. The bamboo in the rice pancake had a smelly taste. The waitress was not friendly at all, gave us mean look when we asked for one additional cup and chopsticks. I felt bizarre that a restaurant provides only one time use plastic cups for water, paper plates, and flimsy plastic forks. Maybe it makes you feel like you are having some authentic street food ? I’m quite disappointed in their beef noodle soup, not only it’s very salty and not tasty, it also made my mouth very dry afterwards. I would much rather to pay $20 or more for a properly prepared plate. I can understand it’s hard to make a business survive charging only $15 per plate, in a high cost area like Cupertino…

Just awesome.I went to California from New York during school’s spring break, and my friend at Apple recommended this restaurant to me because she knew that Im from Wuhan. Probably one of the best Chinese food I’ve ever tried in the United States. Unfortunately the owner wasn’t here when I arrived, guys at there still gave me a great service and great foods tho. I have almost ordered all the foods on the menu. Will definitely recommend this to others!

Went 2 days ago, I think there is some electric issue with their ceiling lights, the whole time there were sudden popping/sparky noises coming from above our heads. And except for 2 dish, everything else were salty(the first 2times I ordered from here, they didnt taste like this)but we ordered so many skewers that I didnt think its nice to get them to replace them.In the end my husband did not tip, instead of asking about what went wrong, we had an angry waiter confronting him about the tip.I came from Australia, we tip when we are happy about the food and dinning experience. I didnt expect tips to be compulsory and definitely not rude attitude from the staff when we decided not to tip?

1st time eating here. I liked the garlie oysters they were tasty. My husband liked the lamb, beef skewers. Pot stickers were also good, heavy breading but good. Only complaint was i wish they had some fans or an ac, it was really hot inside- but it was 106 degrees today so it was rough.

I’m from Wuhan, and the beef noodle is very authentic, and I order it every time. Hot dry noodle and pancake are also very classical Wuhan food, but their quality probably won’t sell well in Wuhan. Consider there’s almost no other choice, I will still order some occasionally.

Absolutely delicious example of Wuhan cuisine and Chinese BBQ. Good hot dry noodle 热干面 is hard to find outside the capital of Hubei Province. I cant speak to the meat items, but the BBQ stinky tofu is fantastic.

The ratings here is so different from the ratings on the other rating website. And I found this place only deserves a rating at most 2 stars. Flies inside. Credit card only above $30 at counter but no signs outside. However they do have a ATM inside which charges you $3.5 plus your bank fees. Avoid this place. As a person from the city, I felt ashamed again. But honesty, the way they do business is typical Hankow style in old times.

Good spicy Chinese yakitori, or BBQ skewers to go with beer. Basically meat and vegetables on stick, doused with liberal dose of chilli and cumin spices. Good beer accompaniments. Kinda sad that they only carry Sapporo and Tsingtao. It would be better if they carry some beer on tap.

We left after the waiter cursed and questioned us when he put a wrong order on our table even though we told him its already served. All the staff there are bad horrible people and even tried to force us stay after a horrible argument with the waiter by saying that all the food we ordered were already cooked. No one come to apologize throughout the entire course and the waiter was still cursing us after we decided to leave. The owner only showed up at last when he realized that we decided not to pay for the unserved food.

This place has ok food, but the worst service Ive ever seen. Weve visited this place a few times in the past until we found out today that the server wass rude and impolite. When we are finishing up with our food and asked for our check, he started to push us out of the restaurant with harsh words because there were people waiting in line. Yes, we were finishing up, but not done yet! I dont recommend this place to anyone and we will never visit this place again in future. AVOID this place!!!

The BBQ is pretty good. However, some Wuhan dishes (hot dry noodles, Hankou beef noodles, tofu skin) are a bit average, especially the tofu skin rice is a lot and tasteless overall. The saliva chicken is also the chicken and the spicy oil are relatively separated, which is not tasty at all
