Love coming here with my family and friends. To my surprise the place had expanded by taking over the next tenants space. I think this was needed for a while. This place gets busy and there werent enough seats.

This review is NOT for their chicken noodle (which I hear is very good) but for their seafood noodle soup and fresh squeezed sugarcane drinks!The seafood noodle soup doesn’t get its fair share of attention. It’s a delicious flavor and a generous portion. Plenty of ingredients, and ask them for the ginger sauce to go with it and it’s the bomb!We’ve been grabbing their sugarcane drinks for ages now. I prefer the simple one with kumquat but there’s lots of flavors to choose from. It’s always so thirst quenching especially on a warm day. Brings me back to Southeast Asia right away. My only gripe are the prices for the drinks sky rocketed in the past year, but that’s inflation for ya.They just expanded their indoor space so there’s almost twice as many tables now and they’re usually full at peak lunchtime. Easy parking in the mall lot. Come just past lunchtime like around 1 or 1:30pm to avoid the crowds.

- avocado smoothie- spicy chicken wings [12 pcs.]- shredded chicken noodle, thin rice noodleif you’re looking for a place with some yummy comfort food in the east bay then hanoi chicken noodle would be the spot for you- especially for those who aren’t huge fan of red meat then id highly suggest this spot bc not only were their wings super juicy and flavorful. for the noodles it was so soothing and provided such warmth and it might be some of the best chicken noodles ive had in a while so 8/10 would recommend for yall to try it out and the avocado is just the perfect cherry on top as it was refreshing but provided the perfect balance of sweet and savory!tips:- sharable portions for family style or just for yourself too :)- plentiful options to choose from- service is super good- family, groups, friends, and date friendly- lots of parking available- great options for groceries and whatnot too

This is my favorite place. Best noodles ever. Friendly staff and owner who provide high quality ingredients. I saw them boiling a whole tank of chicken for their broth. Its unmatched. Perfect hangover food too.

Our favorite noodle spot in this area. Quick, good value, and good service. You order at the counter and get seated. Self service water and tea station. Option of 4 different noodles. The noodles are in a hefty bowl and the broth are always super delicious and not too salty.

My husband and I ordered from here once on Doordash and it tasted good at home so we wanted to try it again in person. When you walk in, there is a cashier station where you order what you want, then they will tell you what table number to sit at based on your party size.I got #1 Hanoi’s special with rice noodles and my husband got #4 Chiu Chow with clear noodles. We also got eggrolls, the Chinese fried doughnut and freshly squeezed orange juice. The eggrolls were meh and had quite a bit of taro so I wasn’t a fan. The fried doughnut tasted fresh and was very crispy. The freshly squeezed orange juice was great and definitely fresh.Onto the main reason why we came, the noodles! The broth was super flavorful just like when we got it from Doordash. The shredded chicken was very nice, tender and cooked just right. Typically when I think of shredded chicken in pho ga, it’s mainly over cooked chicken breast but this was not the case so I’m thankful. It was a great mix of dark and white meats as well. They also had fish balls, fish cake and char sui in there as well and they were all great. My husband enjoyed the #4 as well but said that he prefers #1 for additional toppings. Oh also they have this chili oil with garlic sauce and it’s legit crack.Highly recommend this place for their noodle soup. Very flavorful, broth is nice and clean and meat is cooked perfectly!Pro tip, don’t get rice noodles for delivery. It does not travel well.

Not sure where they get their egg noodles for their noodle soup but its one of the best egg noodles Ive ever had and Ive had egg noodles at many other places. Lemongrass pork chop rice is also very good as is their pop corn chicken. Wasnt a fan of their garlic noodle.

This place was awesome. Their chicken soups are good and you have the option of choosing which noodle type you want. They also have rice plate options. Plus, great choice of fresh juice options. 👍🏽Ive come back a few times and Ive gotten something different every time. Highly recommended.

Good, authentic flavors all around with the soup and meats. The portions are small for the price though. This would be a 5 for me if either the price were lower for the same portion or the portion were larger and more filling for the price being paid.

Really tasty chicken soup. The chicken was very flavorful. I like that they give u ginger, oil dipping sauce to eat with the chicken. There are other typical Asian condiments on the table for your meal. Tea, water and extra condiments can be obtained ed at the self-service area. They also sell Asian smoothies, juices and drinks. The place is very clean. The restroom is nice and modern. I like that they decorate the place with numerous Tillandsia plants in various pots with minimum soil and water. Nice place to enjoy lunch or dinner with free parking.

First visit to this little but busy restaurant. To survive and prosper in this residential area with large Cantonese population, you can tell their Cantonese dishes need to be genuine, delicious, large portion and reasonably priced. Quite a surprised found. Chicken soup infused congee and even clay pot rice came with good chicken soup. Condiments containers were not sticky and chilli oil were one of the best in years.

This place is somewhat of a hidden gem. The service is friendly and excellent. Water or hot tea is self serve.Ive tried 3 different bowls so far but the broth is the same across the board.The rice noodles they serve are soft and fresh plus the broth has been consistent. The picture below is #5 (fishball, meatball, fish cake, shrimp, wontons, bbq pork meat). I definitely recommend a visit here if you want some Vietnamese chicken noodle soup. Somewhat reminds me of Mi ( formerly known as Vien Hong)

Frozen seafood really sucks but the chicken wasnt the worst. I personally think I overpaid for what I ate especially the milk tea. It just tastes like water and milk.BUT THE SERVICE. The lady came to my table to give me my milk tea and gave us an extra coffee. We told her we never ordered the coffee but we did have the milk tea. She proceeded to take both drinks away to check on the orders but as she was walking away she said didnt order this? Then why are you sitting here after checking on the ticket she came back and said you DID order the milk tea and dropped off the coffee at the next table. I felt that was unacceptable behavior and quite rude. Her attitude ruined our appetite.Throughout the meal we saw the same lady walking around to clean tables and saw her spray chemicals onto the table where people were eating. Imagine trying to eat and you get sprayed with chemicals literally 5inches away from your food.Overall the food wasnt the worst Ive had but the service was definitely not something Id come back for.

Wouldnt waste my time or money here again, I ordered a crispy rice bowl for dine- in, and after 40 minutes I had to ask about it /remind them that I ordered it, I was told it takes a while to prepare. It then came out in 10 minutes not crispy. Super disappointed in the overall experience.

Chicken with their ginger sauce is the best part, it comes in most of the noodle dishes. You can also pick your noodle type. Large portions. Pretty crowded on weekends, so beware of a wait time. Although the food is yummy, parking in that plaza is awful. I would recommend parking on the street and walking a couple of blocks if possible.

Finding a parking space in this strip mall can be challenging especially on the weekend and during lunch time.The restaurant itself is busy. Youre given a hockey puck thatll vibrate when your table is ready. The menu is fairly limited as its focused is on noodles and chicken rice. Threes ample appetizers but their entree portions are on the large size. Your order at the counter and given a number on a stick that you put on your table. The water and tea are self serve and the wait staff will bring you your food when its ready.The soup is on the hearty side with very little hint of MSG. The rice plate was unique. Unlike some places that use chicken stock to make their rice, this places rice had curry flavor. The salt and pepper chicken was well done but their fish cake is something you can skip if you order the their number one.One good place here is their drinks are fresh and not with syrup. They have sugar cane and fresh squeeze juices.This place is very clean and on table chopsticks are clean. Ample sauces are available and their not shy about giving you additional ginger oil for your leftovers.

Their menu photos show tons of toppings (chicken, shrimp, fish cake, etc.) on their noodle soups. But when you actually receive them there are far less toppings than the amount that was shown. Food still good though so its not a deal breaker

Nice little spot in a strip mall. I was surprise to see how clean the place was. You Pay first for your food then take your number and find a place to sit. Drinks such as tea and water are self serve. Service is quick and friendly.I’ll be back when I’m in the area.

Hands down my favorite soup joint in the entire bay area. Since discovering Hanoi chicken, Ive not once craved pho. As a matter of fact, I wish every pho spot would offer their chicken noodle soups in Hanoi chickens style just in case Im never near Hanoi chicken and I have to settle for less. I eat here once a week and always end up getting their porridge because its become the perfect staple for my current nutrition regiment. Ive tried several of their other soups and theyre all too good to be true. Its so good and that ginger sauce on the side is just a flavor bomb waiting to go off in your mouth, end any war you got going on internally, and bring you peace and prosperity for your lifetime! You will not be disappointed. I always end my meal with watermelon juice.
