Decided to visit to this spot-on Thanksgiving Day 2023! Honestly, not sure what to expect, as soon we walked in, we were happily greeted and seated right away! I noticed there were a ton of to go orders. Partner and I were craving our typical Chinese food orderSalt and Pepper Calamari – Crunchy, seasoned well, not too spicySzechwan Eggplant – hint of spice, stayed hot (temperature wise) the whole timeBeef Chow Fun w gravy – Tender beef, flavorful noodsDuck – typical, very good except, it came out room temp.BBQ Pork – Typical and just like the duck – room temp.If you are in or near the area and can’t get to Alhambra or Rosemead, let’s say you live in Whittier, City of Industry, Avocado Heights then this is your spot. =)Missing star – I was quite surprised at the price of 2 Bbq item combo $31? Check out how small the portion was.

Go to place for crispy roast duck. Price is competitive and the size of the duck is larger than other restaurants.

4 STAR. Overall. Would return but gotta make sure to specify no MSG otherwise its just on par with other cantonese restaurants. Love the refillable complimentary free soup though. Not your average cheap free soup. My 7 year old had 2 bowls of that, paired with rice, and called it a meal. Generous portion at an average of $8 to $10 per plate to share. Ordered about one dish per person to share and still have plenty to take home.Other: On the salty side in general. Some dishes are pre-MSG-ed. Avoid where makes sense. Fast service. Wouldnt be opposed to dine here if chosen by my group of friends. Just double emphasize the no MSG. Newly opened less than a month ago, doing well so far. Let’s hope they keep this up and not deteriorate in quality and portion as is the trend with new Chinese restaurants.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Dishes are authentic, good portions, but most importantly...tasty! Very friendly staff. Worth a visit.

There was a storm & we were hungry. We stopped by a little late in the evening, but they accommodated us with smiles & quickly prepared our food.
