Easily my favorite Chinese food in the area. I go a few times a month and every time Ive had excellent service from really friendly people working. They take excellent care of me, helping me get exactly what I want. The fried rice here is so good, and the beef with broccoli, wish I could buy that sauce YUM! they have really good made to order soups too. I love the noodle soup, all the soups have been good though!Friendly staff, delicious food!

My family and I have gotten food poisoning twice from eating here. The food is never fresh or hot. Food sits in serving pans that don’t look like they’re kept to proper temperature. Nice staff but the food is not good. Gave them two chances and got sick both times. Will never eat here again.

Love the decor after the renovations! Everyone is so nice and helpful! They recommend sampling all of the options! Made it really difficult to choose! I got half fried rice, half chow mein, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. We had a great time and even had leftovers because of the healthy portions! Its ready to go like panda but has a homestyle taste.

Less than impressed. Their set up is similar to a mall food court spot. I wasnt loving the look of the stuff out on the steamer trays so I ordered some of their made to order entrees for 9.99. Which is consists of a meat and white rice. I ordered the Mongolian beef which was basically two whole sliced onions with a little bit of beef (see picture). Fried rice isnt a side, its a made to order option which also comes with...more rice as a side. The chop suey is just vegetables and it just tastes like boiled cabbage. Their egg drop soup is a hefty portion but it costs $7. Its really just not worth the money.

My favorite Chinese Food restaurant!If you want to know what fresh Chinese food tastes like, this is the place! I love their Me Special Soup, made to order. Vietnamese Roll is delicious. Great variety.Great costumer service, fast and friendly.Only down is no fountain drinks. But they do have bottled drinks.

For many years this was a place Id sometimes go to. A few weeks ago I ordered a bowl of steamed rice and teriyaki chicken. I opened the bag and there was no fork and no teriyaki sauce on the chicken. I ate it anyway and didnt have an issue. A few days ago I go back to order the same thing and asked why no teriyaki sauce on the teriyaki chicken. She says thats something you have to ask for. Whats the logic to this? Most people who order teriyaki chicken expect teriyaki sauce on it. I accepted her answer and asked for 3 sauces and went back to my office. When I started eating it, though, the chicken tasted wrong. It tasted old and weird. Thats the last time Im going.

Front of house staff was warm and pleasant… Sweet chow mein with spaghetti noodles is pretty gross..The kungpao was tasty, but the fatty sauce hurts your stomach

Amazing fresh foodI discovered what fresh Chinese food tastes like, it was awesome.All of their ready-to-eat food is great, but my favorite is their Special Mi Soup.Strongly recommend it. They have also catered food for the office where I work and they never disappoint.

Ive been coming here for the past 8 years and never once been dissatisfied. The food is always amazing, service is phenomenal. Hands down the best Chinese food in Camarillo, and has been for years. Also recently has undergone a beautiful renovation. Easy, quick, great food at a reasonable price. what more can you ask for?

This place has the best food ever. I love their combos and bowls. No where else can you find better egg foo yung and veggie egg rolls. Plus the tofu dishes are the best in the world. My mom loves the fish and my girlfriend raves about their meat dishes. Outstanding!!!

My family and I have been coming here for 11 years and its always been a wonderful experience!! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive to each individual order!! A wonderful selection of dishes and will gladly make a new batch if something you wanted ran out! They pack the take out boxes full!! Prices are outstanding. Great selections of drinks. They have boba!!! Just a wonderful spot for casual Chinese food!!

Best Chinese buffet hands down. Their chinese BBQ pork stands on its own just as amazing cooked Q and when they are using Asian broccoli in the Broc and beef my god. They do real proper fried fish with the head still on as it should be too! Its mom and pop and you cant beat the pricing certainly not for the quality even being buffett they refresh heat table often. I live off this place!

My daughter LOVES broccoli, so the woman serving gave her a free side of FRESH broccoli and encouraged her to continue to eat her veggies.Reason ☆☆2- The QUALITY of the food is AMAZING. The taste is so much better than Panda Express, from the meats to the chowmein.Reason ☆☆☆3- The QUANTITY per plate! WHERE DO I BEGIN. I used to work at Panda Express, we were strictly trained to give 1 scoop per meat, where at Happy Bowl they give you a good 2-3 scoops per meat. And they are glad to make you your food fresh even if they are 5 minutes until closing time!Reason ☆☆☆☆4- The PRICE of the food. SO. MUCH. CHEAPER. THAN. PANDA. EXPRESS. Delicious and greater portions- no need to say more!Reason ☆☆☆☆☆5- CLEANLINESS and OPTIONS. I don’t know if they still make it but, the chicken nuggets with the bbq sauce; amazing. I’d eat here more and then often if it weren’t for the bloat, in general. All the fast food Chinese places are heavy food.

Been going here for about 10 yearsIf youd like fresh food you simply just have to Ask them. And they will be happy to make it for you . At times theres a bit of a wait considering only two people run this location . They also take phone orders and deliver anything over $20.

Everything seemed fine up until time to pay.. Man at register gave me total I gave my debit card and he said next time cash is better. Well next time I wont come here. I get it companies get charged a fee so post it and charge it.. Really ..I will say I like their teriyaki bowl

Update:REMODELED 5/2018.. modern look and owner is there most of the time to make sure everything is good.This place has been around for over a decade and I stop by here once a month for a meal. The price for what you get is amazing. If you ask them to they will cook your food fresh. If you are in a hurry you can just get what is out in the front.NO WIFI or restrooms.

Happy Bowl has a reliable, great tasting variety of chinese, vietnamese and other asian inspired dishes. You can pick from a selection on their steam table or order dishes a la carte. It offers excellent value for money and its my go to place rather than the other Chinese fast food chains.
