My family and I love it. The food is always of quality and taste! We always get what we have ordered and it tastes absolutely delicious!! The family that owns this restaurant are welcoming and remember who we are; which make us feel valued. I have no complaints :)

The pot stickers were ok. The flavor was fine but the meat was too chewy. The beef in the broccoli beef and Mongolian beef was like mush. Super soggy. They were also doused with way too much sauce.chow mein noodles tasted good but the chicken was chewy. Iced tea was old. Prices were reasonable

Its closed. The windows are all boarded up due to a building collapse at the Mexican store called Rositas in the shopping center. The entire shopping center is temporarily closed. Vintage Spirits is also closed. Sad but true. I went in trying to get take out but there were nothing but boards on the window and a closed sign. They have good food though.

Been going here for years now. Food is always fresh and hot even after I get home with it. The owners are always very nice and know just what I like, and I dont even have to ask for extra soy sauce anymore because they know to put it in the bag already. Very personable experience going here 5 stars for sure!

This is literally the worst Chinese restaurant Ive ever had. Most of the dishes were filler. we ordered sweet and sour pork and The whole bowl was vegetables with literally two pieces of pork. Just horrible! Plus it was $80 for a family meal!

Food is just OK. But with that said its not gross. You get what you pay for, cheap-fast Chinese food. Would order again when everyone is hungry and dont feel like cooking. Food could use a little more flavor, pretty bland. 3 star for quality, 5 star for speed

We have been going to this Happy Dragon location for decades and the food has always been wonderful, tonight went for my birthday and it was beyond horrible! Don’t know what happened but, for sure, will NOT BE BACK! It wasn’t just one item, it was the entire meal. If you’ve been and are expecting the same…., DON’T, you’ll be sorely disappointed! If it has changed hands, it needs to change again, soon. 😞😞

Ive been a customer of this restaurant for many many years going back into my childhood. I remember at least 3 owners. The one I remember most is Shirley, sweet lady with a beautiful personality, hated to see her go but she deserved to move on. The new owner who took over started of good. I have been a regular for a long time. I recently had a stroke and had not been there for about 6 months. I went there recently and there where not customers dining in and I was the only customer there. I waited to order for close to ten minutes while the last was in her phone knowing I was there. When I was about to walk out she asked if I was ready to order. I ordered a dinner for myself that was just under $12. She charged me $5 more for the reason she said because it was going to be more food than the listed price on the menu. I did not want to argue with her and just paid it without leaving a tip which I always leave a substantial tip. This will be the last time I will go there. If they lose customers to the point of having to close the business, it will be because of this type of customer service. Food was good.... Service no good anymore. Ive never been treated with this type of mentality.i only give 1 undeserving star in order to submit this review. ☹️

This place used to be amazing. the pot stickers were to die for and there was so many good choices. over the years it has slowly seemed to change and apparently they have a new owner? The 5 starts is because it used to be amazing. the food is okay now and still kinda cheap but its just not the same. Give it a try if you want something new but it is what it is.

Watch them on prices. The menu says one price but she will charge you 5 to 10 dollars more on your order and hope you dont catch her. She doesnt speak very good English and uses that to her advantage. Bring your own drinks in too. She loves that. New ownership sucks but the food has always been terrible. This place couldnt hold Panda Express jock strap. Thats how bad it is. Dont waste your money.

Family owned. Lunch buffet is only $7.25 Tuesday-Friday. The food is fresh and great variety. They serve beer and wine and kid friendly! The staff is so nice and when you go for dinner, they almost make you feel like youve been invited to their home for a hot home cooked meal but without making you feel uncomfortable. They are very personable and remember you each time. Give it a try next time! Their chow mein is the best youll ever have. 💖

We ordered Kung Pao chicken, when it arrived there were no peppers in it when I called the girl was argumentative and rude, finally she offered to replace it for us. Well when we got it took one bite and definitely realized how vindictive people are it was so spicy that it made him sick. NEVER again will we eat there or recommend this location please be aware that this place has no customer service or communication skills and has no problem harming and making sick anyone who confronts their products. The product that they delivered and served is harmful. And the girl working there is mean and spiteful

They open at 11am, I went in at 10:30 to see if they could make something for me because I was doing a job out there at 11, they said yes so I was quite grateful. Ordered the same thing I order at Lucky Wok on Watt Avenue in Sacramento, Green Bean Chicken w/ Shrimp Fried Rice. It was bland, the sauce was bad tasting, and the shrimp fried rice had two pieces of shrimp. Ill never come here again, I do appreciate them serving me before they opened but I wouldve gladly paid more for a decent meal that I couldve enjoyed. My advice go and spend a couple more dollars, although I paid $12 at both places Lucky Wok in Sacramento is sooo much better, and I get like 8-10 nice size shrimp in the same order. Ill never cheat on you again Lucky Wok lol.

All I want is delicious Chinese food and I want to eat a lot of it in different variations. The food is fresh, tasty and its not drowning in oil. Small mom and pop shop serving super cheap food. Lunch buffet is $7.25. The buffet doesnt look huge but trust me, its all that is important. They also have a variety of items to order on the side. One suggestion, if you order a meat dish and chow main or rice have them serve it separately. Lots of sauce on meat dishes.

Im a Tracy High graduate and I went here at least once a week for lunch during my Junior and Senior year. This place is great for lunch, although for dinner Ive noticed that the food is a bit lower quality. The service and atmosphere is great. Definitely worth what it is.

Been going to happy dragon for over 15 years and its the best chinese food in tracy by far. But recently it was sold too a new owner and since that happened the food and service have been in a steady decline and the new owner is absolutely rude. She re heats the buffet after the buffet is over to pass it of as fresh food. Its just a sad situation that such a great restaurant in this town has become such a bad food dump. Wish Vickie and her family were back.

My family loves Happy Dragon Restaurant...they have the best Chinese food in Tracy. We have been eating there for 17 years since moving to here and will be faithful patrons for life! They make awesome Won Ton soup and their beef chow mein is delicious! I dont think there has been one think we havnt liked. If you havnt eaten here you should give them a try.

These people are RUDE! My friend ate here and ordered fried rice with no pork in it (there was Fried Rice and Pork Fried Rice on the menu; he ordered Fried Rice.) and discovered pork in it. He asked for his money back because they didnt seem to care and they refused to refund him, stating that the regular fried rice has pork in it. What? Excuse me, but why do you have two kinds of rice on the menu if theyre both the same? Shouldnt you tell your customers that or, better yet, update your menu? They had a problem with that and I am willing to bet they used leftover food when they served him. Dont go here. Go to Amazing Kitchen instead.
