Harajuku Sushi in San Francisco

We ordered a take out of 4 sushi rolls. As you can see from the photos, the sushis were all crammed together into the box, so when we try to pick one up with our chopsticks, the sushi is falling apart.I’ve also noticed that they are not using Japanese jade rice to make the sushi, which makes it not authentic cus Japanese jade rice are more expensive and sticky in texture which explains why the sushi roll is falling apart. The size of the rolls are also much smaller than other Japanese restaurants in town.

Pros.1. Foods are delicious.2. Happy hour has the best deal.3. Waiters are attentive and kind.4. The place is very clean.5. It is modern and the bar is also nice.Con.1. Some rolls are small.

Sushi tasted great and the staff was extremely friendly. I also like the unique non-alcoholic drinks they had to offer. I would definitely come back!

You wont be disappointed with this Japanese cuisine. Fresh and lovely sushi! Fried calamari is the best! Tonkatsu (without curry) rice is outstanding and tasty! I would love to order more next time!!!

I rarely leave reviews but I just wanted to share that we had a great dinner experience. The staff were so nice and the food was really good. They brought free tea, free soup and a little desert at the end. We will come back!

Very friendly host to start with. Unfortunately, the appetizers were not that good (we had the tempura & gyoza, both quite greasy and the taste was kind of flat), so we advise you go straight to the sushi, which was great! We had the Romeo & Julliet, the Gold mine and the Spicy Crunchy, the latter being our personal favourite.

Everything was awesome! Collar steak, shishido pepper yakitori, chicken heart yakitori, uni, UNAGI FRIED RICE! Kimchi fried rice, Toro, whole fried squid, there were six of us so we went to town it was all awesome and none of us were disappointed with any dish, staff kept up with tea and water and making sure we didnt need anything. They had a fresh made wasabi that was so flavorful more than just burning the inside of your sinus, actual range unlike the paste. Definitely coming back!

I like the food but when it is delivered it looks like this. The boxes are put in the bag sideways:( And what is with the plastic wrap? I will have to pick out the fish roe and put the quail eggs back on top. But the quail eggs have broken anyway. This was a $59. order!!!

Love to come here and sit at the sushi bar. Perfect place to grab a chirashi for lunch but also a great dinner spot for sushi rolls and nigiri.

Fresh and taste so good. And I can bring my service dog in. I am loving there.
