The store is upscale including their prices but the quality makes up for it . Their meat selection is almost as good as their Ocean products that can be found in this county . I managed to catch their buffet tonight, it changes every day . I serve myself, as much as I want, and get it to go . The deli was still open too .

Wow. This place burned down a few years ago-- not during the big Camp fire, but in an isolated incident shortly after. Losing Harbin was tough. Losing Hardesters almost as tough. Their new store is fricking awesome though-- even better than before! The new Harbin is also awesome-- almost better than before and getting better every week. Two reminders that we can overcome anything. Great job guys!

This place is awesome!! I moved to Middlelake, and my 1st visit here was ? So friendly & helpful from the time I walked in the door to the time I left. But the 1st visit between Thanksgiving & Christmas? There was a cashier that appeared to have a hot head the person before me was buying tangerines they were on special but rung at reg. Priceshe started getting nasty with the lady & asked front desk if they were yes they were n code given. There was no reason to question the customer & show her frustration n anger openlyAll other visits after have been idealHas handi cap parking & shared parking with a bank NXT to it. It is. Food store with deli & small bakery along with its Hardware store to the left as you walk in ACE hardware bigger items outside in separate detached closure

Awesome little market in a small town. Has definitely improved since the original burnt down. I love the deli in the back of the store. Everything they make is high quality and fresh. It even blows a lot of the other local restaurants out of the water. Highly recommend the sushi and deli sandwiches. They have a large selection of many things that you won’t find at larger retail stores around the county like wine and cheese.

What an awesome grocery store! I used to shop here as a local back in the early twenty oughts and always thought it was a pretty good store... But wow what an improvement they made when they completely rebuilt the store! It has an amazing deli, hot case, grab and go section, and awesome selection of staple items, beer and wine, and every kind of critical grocery at a range of prices for any budget. The prices are a little higher on account of the fairly remote location in Middletown, but not unreasonable- Im sure they have high supply chain / delivery costs. Aside from the overall terrific grocery store, they have a fairly large hardware store too. Its a modern take on the general store, but not your grandpappys country store here, very modern, nice fixtures, well stocked, well lit... Overall a great place, and if youre in Middletown, really the only place to shop.

I felt like everyone there was a little bit snobby. I forgot my card in the car had the wrong one in my pocket. The cashier acted as though he thought he knew I didnt have money or something like that. Then seemed annoyed when I said I had to go out to my car to get my card.

I was very disappointed in this very clean and very organized store. I thought I went to sleep and woke up in a 7-11? I was having a nightmare or at least I thought so when I saw the prices on my items. I could feel my blood pressure raising. I had to get out of there. Feverish I got back to the car and this is what I found 3 bags of groceries 12 items $94.26 FRICKEN dollars! What in the World has come over some people? For crying out loud NO MORE MONEY MONGERS! Harvesters grocery in Middletown has been rebuilt since the fire and is in excellent shape. The deli is well staffed, quick and offers a great variety.There is also a hardware portion of the store which is okay but not great. They didnt have a full supply of cell phone accessories when I needed a usb-c adapter.

Honestly, I preferred the way it looked before the fire, and remodel. But, this store feels like home. Small town and high quality products(wonderful cheese, I might add). All three Hardesters are also near schools in the area, making it easy for highschool students to grab something to eat if they so choose.

The deli here is incredible, with a variety of delisouc sandwiches. They have gluten-free bread which toast up nice for their paninis. We have not even had a chance to hit up their grab and go section, but it is easy to see they have quite the variety. Salads and soups, pre-made sandos, and losts of other goodies.

A decent variety of groceries with a little bit of an Ace Hardware in the back (uses same front entrance as market). Aces lumber is in a separate building across the street behind the main store. It was nice to get my hardware and grocery shopping lists taken care of in one location, especially since all this hand sanitizer use has been taking a toll on my hands.

Hardisters is just like Wholefoods but add in Ace Hardware and lumber all in one store. It is more on the expensive side ( they do have a lot of reasonably priced items and food too) and it is worth it to shop here. The store is beautiful and laid out quite nicely. They offer quality and organic items and have a deli that serves amazing sandwiches and other delicious foods. The other reason I shop here is I found out recently that the owners treat their employees like family and the employees receive great benefits and so much more. The owners are also well loved in lake county. They were outstanding in helping out their employees and the community after our Valley Fire. All these reasons combined makes me a loyal Hardisters shopper.

Quick stop at a very interesting market; you think you want it, they most likely will have it. Got a loaf of some of the best sourdough bread you could want, produce that was gorgeous and little ice creams with their own spoons inside the lids. Cashier was friendly and very kind. I will go back!

As both a hardware store lingerer and an amateur grocery store evaluator, I was surprised and pleased to see this when I went through Middletown.As a hardware store, its on the small size but with an amazingly complete selection. I didnt buy anything, but my companion had been searching for an unusually large sized metric crescent wrench - Hardesters had it!As a grocery store, its also on the small size, but they still managed to have a good range of product, from the cheapest processed staples to higher end brands and organics. I am grateful that Hardesters is so close at hand when I run out of something. The Middletown store that I frequent the most is very well stocked--it is rare that I cant find what I am looking for whether it is a grocery or hardware item. But the best part of Hardesters is that they put their customers and their community first. Their name is always on the donation lists and their employees work hard and with great courtesy. Only place in town for either and man; do their prices reflect it.If you urgently need something right away, then at least its there but if you can spare time for a trip to literally any other of the surrounding town, youll find more options at cheaper prices.Its always a wonder to me how the poorest towns always have the most overpriced goods.

Shopping at Hardesters is more like going to visit friends Good quality food, meat and wide selection of healthy food choices. The Ace Hardware section is also staffed by helpful friendly people. At Hardesters they often go above and beyond in service to our local community. Hardesters offers a lot to our little town: Great selection, lots of produce, top notch deli, lots of organic choices, great hours, friendly staff, and believe it or not, a great selection of hardware! A true General Store! On top of that, Hardesters supports almost evry cause and group in our community, so kudos to them for that. I take away one star for prices, which are high, and which I would love to see descend into just a slightly more competitive orbit.
