I would say this is the worst casino experience I’ve ever had. After opening a credit card with Caesar’s, I went to book a room and the card wasn’t working. I called the number on the card and the woman asked if the chick could type it in. The entire night front desk team was rude and one young woman told me she didn’t like my attitude. The rewards desk people are extremely nice but the registration staff is not giving customer service. The clearly hate their jobs. I spoke to a manager in the morning and he didn’t have anything to say either. For spending $450 on a room it’s just disappointing. I went because it’s supposed to be “Funner”. Spending an hour trying to figure stuff out with my new credit card, only to be told I have a bad attitude by a 20-something year old on a power trip, was definitely not fun. Restaurant staff was also quite nice. Rooms are good. Pool looks fun.
We spent two nights here in July. This was just one stop of many on our trip up and down the state of California.The rooms were very modern and clean. Very spacious for the price we paid. Being a Caesars Rewards member got us a very good rate.The only hang up was the AC. It seemed to have a mind of its own and would turn itself off in the middle of the night. Being July, it didnt take long for the room to be 80°, with no window to open for a breeze. We called the front desk the next morning, and they seemed to fix it.We have the slot machines and video poker a try. Everything was really tight! A few machines would give us a few wins every now and then, but overall they didnt give up nearly enough to encourage us to keep playing. We have much much better luck in Reno, and if not more luck, at least more fun.The pool and swim up bar were wonderful on the hot summer evenings. We loved that the pools are age restricted. The kids can have their own fun in the lazy river. The main pool was 21 and up.Overall this is a good spot to crash if you find yourself between LA and San Diego. We would stay here again, if we go to the San Diego Safari Park, about 25 minutes away.
This hotel does not cater to black people. I witnessed several black people being followed by security. And I was denied access to my room. Nobody texted me or informed me of a charged that I wasnt aware of going through. My wife asked the front desk manager to get her bank card out of the room and she was denied that. By the way, this all transpired at 1am. It was our 1st time staying at this resort and we dont plan on spending any money staying there ever again.
It was my birthday weekend and we had a blast. This hotel has something for everyone to explore. My lovely friend and I enjoyed everything from the spa, pool and the beautiful scenery 😍. 5 🌟 star stay. Team Smiley
I really liked the grounds, especially the pool! However, the customer service wasnt its finest from the moment we arrived. The valet was extremely slow without any type of acknowledgment that we ended up carrying our own bags and using self parking rather than valet ( We waited 15 minutes).Later in the evening, we went down to the front desk to see about booking another night, and the staff at the front desk was anything exceptional. There were about 6 other people in line, with four different employees behind the desk. While I understand it seemed to be a shift change, we all waited about five minutes before we got any acknowledgment.
Very nice Casino Hotel. The pool was spacious and there are several hot tubs. The staff was extremely welcoming. John Fogerty show was one of the best we have seen in a beautiful room that was just the right size.
Used to really enjoy this place. Lately its been plagued by undesirable characters.On more than one occasion, people have attempted to take chips off the table. On my most recent visit a guy walked by and ashed his cigarette on my friend. (Tons of smokers, although not as bad as Pala.) Overall there are more rude people than I usually like to deal with.It seems the usual clientele has been replaced with rude people.Which is unfortunate as I really like most of the dealers and enjoy all of the games. But I dont like dives or shady places. And to make matters worse theres no security anywhere. I didnt feel safe on my last visit.Class it up Harrahs... You can do better. Ive seen it.

If you check in at the kiosk it will not give you a pool key which you need to get towels. We went to celebrate a birthday and paid for an upgraded room however we were placed in a room with a direct view of the parking garage. You cant get reservations for Hells Kitchen since it books up ahead of the trip. There is no room service. Their cafe seats diamond members at a 3 to 1 ratio to the general seating line so expect to wait over an hour just to be seated for the same quality of food as you could get at a Dennys. The steak I ordered medium rare was delivered to the table well done and the server did not check the table and failed to refill coffee. The trip was underwhelming in regards to service in general.
Indian Gaming Resorts in SoCal are in a highly competitive market. This means they have to often fight for the same clients and special events.Harrahs is a drive into the wilderness for some, and for others, a tranquil oasis in the desert hills.The hotel is well maintained and boasts some great dining options (Gordon Ramsey) and a well organized event center. The gaming is there as normal for all of these resorts, nothing exceptional but obviously an attraction for locals and travelers alike.The sense of remoteness is what makes this an easy choice if youre looking for a special place to stay that is not in the suburbs or has a view of them.
Employees are kind but they don’t clean your rooms here.I stayed here for 3 nights with a family of 5 and asked for our room to be clean but because of “COVID” they do not clean rooms at all. The couches are old and not clean. I had to put my trash in the hall way for them to pick it up.The Starbucks is a little overpriced… there is no complimentary water in the hotel.Hell’s Kitchen and the pool is nice but everything else is eh.Wouldn’t come here again without room cleaning and they don’t have room service. Cleanliness is key for returning customers.
My visit was quick and enjoyable .Very friendly staff. Comfortable, quiet rooms. several food options on Friday evening. I really appreciated the free self parking and slot machines to kill time.
The overall place gets a 5, it is well set up and there are things to do. The drive there sucks, but once you are there you have plenty to keep busy. It is kid friendly and for those of you that want your own adult time you can have it, there is a pool area just for 21 and older which is totally cool. Swim up bar who?? Yes, go gamble, get away, chill in the pool and get your drink on. The rooms do depend on what tower you stay at, the newer ones are great, the older ones are just okay.
Terrible experience and I dont see myself going back. The smoke detector was missing, but we eventually found it, with the battery taken out, stuffed under the mattress. That leads me to believe that the bed sheets werent actually changed 🤢At the main bar, the bartender who served us used the same hand be took payments from (cash and cards) to grab garnishes for the inside of our drinks 🤢And after spending over an hour waiting for someone to help me get my ticket from a machine (which took baking the operator 3 times), a slots supervisor insisted that there was nothing he could do to accommodate me because there was no record of my calls, even though the 2nd and 3rd times I caked the operators they were and to see my original request for assistance. The supervisor even said that the 2 service u pressed were actually deactivated (mind you there was no sign, the buttons still flashed and caused a constant beeping, and the buttons werent even crossed out or covered in any way.100% dissatisfied.
I am not a gambler. I came out here with a girlfriend just as a get away. I found the restaurants to be very expensive. There is no live entertainment here during the week days. I found this casino to be extremely boring and ordinary. As well as very over priced. There is no maid service here. With exception to an extra towel. So you have to clean your own room until you depart. I will not be returning here.
We got a ground level suit that backed into the pool area. The one downfall was that you didnt have access to the pool from your patio! Room was huge, had a fridge, bathroom was also huge. As a family of five, the room provided adequate space for the four days we were there. There was plenty of food options available on site, all different types of food. The pool area was great, we spent several days out their all day long, I highly suggest reserving a daybed or a cabana, you wont regret it. We reserved two day beds and had family come spend the day with us at the pool.We enjoyed our stay so much we booked another reservation in September for a week! (Arizona residents)
Diamond plus player...was there in 2003 when the open the doors?! Run by ultra liberal gay GM.. THEY BLOCK ACCESS TO FOX NEWS, GOT A RASH OVER MY BODY FROM AN INSANE AMOUNT OF SOAP IN THE BED SHEETS. MACHINES ARE OLD AND BORING! Didnt use my card on a visit was cut off from comps even after driving 3:hours to speak with this manly womenNot kid friendly...of course the general manager and her partner have no children.Just ate clueless in their marketing.Even the appointment of the mayor of boringville is gay. Not sure why the tribe hasnt figured it out .... horrible marketing
The rooms are nice with the exception of no microwave or coffee pot. Also there is no place to get water. The tap water is milky looking so couldnt drink it. This is a resort so there are available amenities but you will pay for every little thing. Also the valet drivers and bell men were very rude. Not just to me but several elderly ladies that I witnessed.
We had a great time here, but the room hadnt been cleaned properly. The restaurant Hells Kitchen was much too noisy and chaotic to enjoy a meal. The lazy river used to provide free floats, but now they charge for them. Other than that, it was a pleasant visit in a beautiful landscape.

I will see you in a month.The bar staff and general other encounters with other staff were all very good with them being very helpful and attentive. The cocktails at Gordon Ramsays restaurant are well-balanced and very thought out. The rooms are a nice size but are in desperate need of a remodel. The wallpaper inside the rooms and near the elevators are peeling all over the place, along with the fixtures being very dated; They are also worn down. The shower was in need of a good cleaning because it had a fair amount of mold in it.
I havent been here in awhile and probably wont go back again. I cant stand the smoke indoors after being at Pechanga where they dont allow it anymore. The Dive rooms also need to be updated and they sent me to a room that wasnt even cleaned yet. I had to wait in that room for the manager to come up and go back down to get me new keys to a room that was actually ready. In the meantime, housekeeping came in and started to clean the room and was extremely rude. The only good thing was my dinner at Hells Kitchen.

I come up here a good bit. The pool area is great. Plenty of bars and the food is pretty good. There is an area for kids and a side for adults so you can get some peace if needed.The rooms are nice. Enjoyable views. Comfortable bed. The bathroom separates the toilet so multiple people can use the bathroom for different reasons.
Have great restaurants including Hells kitchen. If you have never eaten there you have to try it! I recommend the lobster risotto and the beef wellington.You will need to make a reservation to sit at a table. The bar area, you do not need a reservation.Casino section:Allot of games to play. Very busy place.I never win allot here but its fun either way.Suggestion:If you plan on gambling, make sure you get a card to gain points which means gifts! They have awesome gifts!This casino allows smoking, so make sure to bring a mask if smoking bothers you.
Worst customer service ever! They tell their customers they are liars. If something gets messed up during your guests stay, then just fix it. Don’t tell the guest they are a liar. I don’t ever ever ever waste my time to fix something if I didn’t think it needed to be fixed. So for me to take the time out of my vacation to get hotel staff to fix something then why would u as hotel employees make my time worse here. You see that I’m upset and you allow that to be how it’s settled! I can see why no one wants to come here. Thanks for nothing harrahs, u suck!!!!
I am very dissatisfied with almost every part of my experience here after using my 7 starts retreat at this location. Promised for room upgrades and airport transportation as stated in 7 stars retreat information and also on all my other trips Ive taken when Ive used it in the past I was actually treated as a valued customer. I was told a host would call me numerous times and never did. Charge my card without notifying anything and couldnt even spend my portfolio funds while I was there. I received no communication or benefits different then if I just walked into a Caesars for my 1st time. Lost nearly 100 thousand last year on sports betting alone through Caesars sports book and this was what I received in return. Would Definitely never return to this location or even suggest a anyone who is a valued customer to ruin your vacation coming here. Im THE last person to ever leave bad reviews and this the first time I have ever been bothered enough to even do so. Sorry for the negative feedback but it was just all around a terrible experience from the false guarantees to the lack of communication. Thanks for the waste of my 7 starts (Retreat).
We were visiting from Hawaii, we liked the proximity to Temecula. The rooms is comfortable and the staff was great. We loved it here, we will be back.
Was at the resort June 28 2023. The casino was just a money trap. Very small wins if any. Nobody on the floor actually winning. Guess if you’re in the middle of nowhere and pretty empty you’re not going to have any payouts. Never saw one payout.
Stayed for the weekend to have dinner at Hells kitchen and check out the casino. When we went it was a bit rainy so we used the covered parking lot as it connects directly to the hotel/casino. Check in was a bit confusing as different lines were based on what type of rewards member you were (I wasnt any). After struggling with the self kiosk we went to the next available person and was checked in quickly.Room was comfy and there were some nice sitting areas on the floors. Casino was very smokey but expected. Checking out was easy.
Fantastic service from valet to check in to bell service to clean facilities to a great event center! Unfortunately, smoking is allowed in the casino, BUT there was no trace of cigarette smoke in the hotel region of the property.Fair warning: no coffee maker in the room
If it wasnt for the comped rooms, I would never stay or play here again. The rooms or old and beat down. Dogs everywhere. No coffee makers. Just down right old. As for playing here, that is a joke. The machines are super tight. I usually play a mix of games. The super 8 race here no bonuses. Its like they turn off the race totally. 4 card keno was no good. Most of the games are at least 2 bucks a spin, if you want to try to get any money back which you wont. Other casinos in the area pay out way better. Harrahs you have gotten way to greedy and forgotten about the customer. Oh well, what is one upset customer right. 🤔
Nice rooms. We had the 1 bedroom suite with the small jacuzzi. The shower was not warm enough and water pressure was too weak. Nice pool but too small, good size lazy river. Very nice patio on the 6th floor. Over priced restaurants. No smoking at the table games, that was a bonus.
Our first time at this casino. The lazy River was nice. We brought our own floaters and its pretty fun floating thru the river and the waterfall cave. The place has variety of foods. Rooms was nice and clean, great mountains view.The slots are super tight. Stay 3 nights and slots barely give any bonus, more like 99% feeding and 1% bonuses, really horrible. I wouldnt not play slots here again.Overall, kids had great time at the lazy river and enjoyed the stay. As far for adults, not too great for super tight Slots 😔.
The room was nice but we had little flying gnats the whole time of our stay. Everything was pretty expensive too. Restaurants and such. No drink special for football or anything. But overall it was a fun trip.
My bf and I came here for a birthday weekend and this place was very disappointing. They nickel and dime you at every turn, everything is expensive, and it feels run down. We did not feel well taken care of or catered too, so we did not feel compelled to gamble at $25 per hand at Blackjack and did not gamble at all for the entire weekend.Check in through the kiosk was easy, but you do not get your required pool pass that way. Walking down the hallways, you immediately notice how run down the place is, with broken fixtures down every hall. When we arrived into our room, I immediately had to call maintenance because the curtains were falling off of the rail and the stick to pull the curtains shut was sitting on a chair. The room had a large soaking tub, but no bubble bath. I feel like that could have been provided considering the $450/night price tag. The room would be very average for $250/night and fell very short at $450.We ate at Hells Kitchen that night, it was pretty good, considering our large party. I felt like service could be improved because they were only really taking care of one half of our table, which was annoying. The $200ish seafood tower is not worth it, but the beef Wellington was everything I imagined it would be. The scallops were also not full scallops, but cut in half to make you think youre getting more. What a shame.We also tried playing the sorry excuse for Top Golf (I played the real thing in Oregon). It just did not work at all and badly needed to be calibrated. We were not charged and we left shortly after getting set up.We were up very late watching our friends gamble and hanging out. Everyone was intoxicated and got some late night munchies. Guess what, no late night dining options. And if you try to call the front desk, you will be on hold for 30+. We actually never talked to anybody, we just gave up and went to bed hungry.The lazy river is fine. But what irked me was that you have to buy your own floaties, which are so overpriced in their store. Then they charge $1 to fill them. The nickel and dime game gets so old here. We had a cabana and the furniture is so tired, the TV has some cheap basic channel package.This was not a weekend I would repeat, but I would probably come back just to take my dad to Hells Kitchen.

Not a bad casino but the hotel rooms need some improvement also it smells like Marijuana everywhere, not good if you planned to bring your kids to the resort to enjoy the lazy river... also no food after like 10 or something like that I had a not so good experience with that part of the casino . I had to drive out to a fast food place super inconvenient... no room service or anything like that roll out bed is like $45+ and yeah not cool if you get mad at your spouse someone is sleeping on the floor. LoL 🤣 but hey I guess people just go to gamble because service is not as good as it used to be .
The lazy river side of DIVE is a hot mess. The information on their website is incorrect: the amount of people per day bed, the check in time, and bring your own floaty. We purchased 3 days beds and under the special instruction we asked for them to be put together and they werent. Long story short, I was lied to about getting a refund, they moved our beds but later came back an hour and a half later to take it back from our family. We ended up 6 people to one day bed. I tried clarifying with the manager on how the people that we got removed for reserved that specific bed number because there is no way to do that on the website and she didnt answer my question. We ended up leaving and not enjoying the day at the pool. We requested a refund for all 3 beds but the refund it not guaranteed. The entire experience was horrible. Oh and the DIVE store was closed so you couldnt buy a floaty.....big waste of our day.
We went to the pool with a Day Pass. The temperature was great! There was an active volleyball going on, they were just random people and it looked really fun! Theres a 21+ and all ages section. There are several hot tubs all over the place. If youre looking for quiet, romantic and serene, this wont be the place. The only take away was there are no lockers or changing rooms available for day users. For the bar/drinks (21+) Grab a tumbler if you plan to go back, I think its worth it!
Terrible terrible customer service at the front desk. The manager was very rude and disrespectful. If you are a Caesars rewards member, I would choose some place else they dont appreciate you or your gambling here. Rooms are kind of musty we had to switch rooms, our first room was very musty and dirty. I posted a Pic of the dust you can see when we moved the ice bucket it was gross. These pics were when we first walked in totally dusty n musty i hope you can see in the pics. We were supposed to have a nice suite with a balcony but were not given it. I do like how close it is to explore San Diego, but you have to rent a car. If I didnt fly to this destination I would have actually turned around and left with the disrespectfulness they showed me.
Amazing experience! Pool area is nice with a lazy river and swim up bar. The food at Hells kitchen was delicious. The Earl of sandwich was excellent for lunch. Drinks are poured well at the bar.
We ate at Hells Kitchen, and had a great time. Really good food, especially the Beef Wellington, excellent service. Pricey, but we knew that going in, we actually spent less than we anticipated.
This review is for the spa at Harrahs. My friend and I had massages and facials. Both were fantastic and we will be coming back.
We stayed here in July for a couple of days while traveling through Southern California. The rooms are nice, the casino is spacious with plenty of slots and table games. There are quite a few food options to choose from, although we really wanted to try the Rincon Reservation Brewery but it was closed during our stay. The down side to this property is the lack of things to do for those under 21. During the day Dive is open, but only the lazy river side for those under 21. If you dont get out there early you will have trouble finding a place to sit unless you reserve a cabana or daybed (not sure what the charge is for this). Also, you have to bring your own floatie, or purchase one there ($30 and up).
Me and my family were there 7/30 for a couple nights. I would like to make a few suggestions. Check in line for those that aren’t up in the platinum or gold whatever it is need more than one staff member to help. We were in line for 20 minutes. Tried to check in kiosk both didn’t work! In line we saw a lot of different people trying the kiosk and couldn’t check in. They walked away shaking their heads. Lazy river beautiful but cold. Especially for younger children. Didn’t appreciate on Sunday not having waiters for drinks or food. I didn’t care for the adult side getting all the attention. Warmer water, waiters and Dj. Family side likes all those things too! But on Monday when there’s no adults partying then we got waiters and music speakers playing music a little louder than Sunday. Kinda upsetting! Hope to see some improvements for my next visit. The worst hotel to stay in, I stayed for 4 days and requested housekeeping service but the hotel declined the service request. They only provide housekeeping service when you stay for 5 days.When I saw the housekeeper on my floor and asked for extra fresh towels, she declined it and wanted me to call for service when she could just give me from her service cart. Whats the point of paying to stay in the hotel, but not getting any service?
Well I think it was to busy when we went July 18-20. Could not get into the pools to many people, and the pools were really small. Our room had an old looking orange chair in the room, which didnt match anything. I loved the large bathtub. The place to me needed more cleaninga lott of dirty walls within the hotel. The restaurants were very expensive the Chinese restaurant only had very large portions nothing small I saw a lady order what she thought was a cup of soup a big bowl for a family it was 28.00 she said I cant eat all of this and sent it back. So its a place for large groups of people which I feel they should tell people before they eat there.
I love the lazy river and swim up bar at Harrah’s. Only problem with the lazy River are the tubes. Not much around for the taking so bring your own. Food options are good with lots of gaming options. Starbucks on-site and ev charging. Location is further in then a few other casino nearby off the 15 fwy. I always enjoy coming to this resort.
1) every time I got a key it worked exactly one time. I had to go back to the lobby every time I wanted to go to my room. Wasted an insane amount of time. They need a new system for keys2) smells like smoke too much

Nice little place to get away from the city!!! Casino is nice they have a smoking and non smoking area. They have a couple restaurants the best one is hells kitchen.
I had a glorious day and evening at the beautiful resort. All my expectations, and needs, were more than met by the courteous and handsome young man working outside the pool area named Isaac.Its not too often that I meet such a well mannered, and capable employee with such a great work ethic.Isaac is a true example. 10/10
I don’t appreciate how this casino doesn’t offer Wi-Fi free to gambling customers only the hotel guests. The food prices suck and are very limited. The machines are tight and expensive. I don’t think I will be returning and I would not advise anyone to come. Siri unimpressive.
We were lucky enough to get one of the remodeled rooms, very modern and clean. Lazy river was fun and so was the adult area! My only real dilemma was the commute. It felt like it was in the middle of nowhere.
We came from Superior Arizona to visit my daughter in Anaheim so I book 2 complimentary nights the woman at the reception desk was rude not friendly my husband got on line nobody was in any line she told us line is in the other side my husband said there was nobody on the line Woman: I’m telling for next time she didn’t say welcome how r you like other girls do and are very polite this one on top of that she was Hispanic like us we talk to her in Spanish I really don’t know why I didn’t say nothing but I did made a complaint with management she needs to go back and take costumer service classes, we don’t think we r going back anymore I rather go to Harrah’s in Vegas this happenedOctober 9, 2023 I’m so disappointed 😞
Staffs from the reception were really helpful and nice.Specially Yaravi, Victoria and Valeria, these 3 ladies did a great job during our stay.Just a few thing you can do to improve the guest service, perhaps having the following:1.Coin Laundry2.MicrowavesWe spent 5 nights in the hotel, and our clothes werent enough, needed a place to wash our clothes, called the house keeping, but they told us to figure it out by ourselves.also, we had some leftovers at the restaurants, and wanted to eat it the next morning, but unfortunately there is no microwaves inside the hotel.
To say Harrahs is a “resort” would be a stretch. The best attraction about this place is Hells Kitchen.The cigarette smell, dirty 80’s furniture, dogs 🐕 (literally) walking through the casino, drunken people circulating the pool area and “no cleaning” policy for the rooms throughout the entirety of my stay was just the start of the poor service this hotel offered. One star ⭐️ would be a generous rating.I suggest this hotel has a complete makeover a rethinks it’s design aesthetic, hygiene and sanitation policy.
Front desk service (her name is Kia and I think Camellia) is rude, unhelpful, and will make you wait in the guest check-in line just to speak to them. Pretty bad! Also the place stinks. Rooms are old. Restaurants are a joke. Go somewhere else!
WOW! As a long time (over seven years) Caesars Visa credit card holder and platinum status member this stay really put in perspective how this location is driving members away.The cons: VERY long line to check in and RUDE HARRAHS EMPLOYEE working at counter (brown/black hair male, had a disability), outdated rooms, and STRANGE cocktail server on casino floor.-Walked in at 6 pm on a Friday night the line was over 11 people long, tried utilizing the check in kiosk. Fun fact you can only check in if you have your passport, QR code, or drivers license. It did not work for my drivers license, even though its on file and why would I have my passport when I live down the street and the email confirm contained no QR code. Walked up to the diamonds/platinum line and explained to the RUDE man that the machine did not work, and he told me to get back in the line and they would fix it. I explained that we had been waiting over 10 minutes and witnessd four other people attempt to use kiosk, but did not work. He again told me to get back in the line and they would then do something about it, I asked if he could just get someone then he said no. This man has no hospitality, and no respect for customers that spend ALOT of money at that casino, he should be given training on how to handle situations at peak times.-Rooms are outdated.. spent 300$ for a Friday when we should have just booked the Holiday Inn!-We purchased drinks at the gift shop and were drinking them on the casino floor, some strange cocktail server (older male) explains we cannot do that and waited for us to finish out two drinks. Then he said he had a family and kids to take care of..?The pros: Henry (bartender in rear bar), dualing pianos, and Hells Kitchen.
We went to see Brian Regans stand up show. We didnt stay in the room or eat there. However, I can say the people working on the parking and valet were extremely nice and provided the correct information
Went here for a getaway with my fiance. Booked a room for a night. Before coming we were told we could get a late check out, upon arrival the girl at checkout said sorry cant get a late checkout. That changed our plans alot. And was very inconvenient. We decided to just let it go and enjoy ourselves. Upon walking into the room and turning my face. The thin light which was in the middle of the room gave me a black eye!! Ive attached a photo. I brush that off too and enjoy the night with some dinner and gambling. Drinks and music.. we go sleep and when I wake up I have over 4 very big spider bites all over my body.. we finally decided to check out via the TV in the room. And come to find out after changing all our plans because we were not allowed a late checkout, the TV said we were allowed upto 1:30PM late checkout!! This was a very horrible experience for my fiance and I. Customer service was not great. Our room had spiders and spider webs. We really wanted to like this place
This casino is so old and the slot machines are so tight that you never win anything. There are so many other casino resorts in the area that are much better and fun. They need to fix this place up.
VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! This review is for the pool area. My friends and I booked a cabana and planned a day at the pool. The cabana was not what I was expecting. The cushions on the seats were stained. The floor needed a good sweep. The lounge chairs were old and stained. There were no towels at the cabana for us. You’d think paying for a cabana would include towels for the guests. When we approached the counter to ask for towels, the people working there were rude. My friend asked if she could grab a towel and was told “yeah if you want a dirty one”. Then we were further informed that towels would not be available for at least 2 hours. We asked about floaties for the pool and were told they no longer rent them to guests because of covid. There were some available for purchase in the gift shop and we could pay to have one of the staff inflate them for us. $30 for a pool float that I can purchase for $10 at Target? No thanks. It would have been nice if Harrah’s updated their website because we could have come prepared. After we had been sitting at our cabana for some time, about half an hour, our server (Sarah) came over to introduce herself and go over the menu with us. One of the girls offered up her credit card for food and drinks. It took forever for Sarah to get back to us with our orders that some of the girls decided to go to the bar instead. The pools were freezing cold. I guess that would be nice on extremely hot days but this day was overcast and drizzly. It would have been nice if they (the staff) turned on the pool heater (if there was one available). The end of Sarah’s shift came around so she came hunting our group down and asked if we were going to sign the receipt. My friend signed and asked for the card back. To this Sarah stated “I left it at your table” and walked away. There was a copy of the receipt but the card was not at our table. After searching for it at the bar and speaking to other employees, we were told the card was left at our table and they did not have it. Someone even looked at the CCTV footage but “unfortunately” the camera in the area we were sitting in did not have a great view of our cabana. My friend received a call from a supervisor (Stephen) the next day, and Stephen proceeded to tell my friend that he was giving her a courtesy call to let her know the server (Sarah) said she put the card at our table and they (Harrah’s) we’re not “responsible for belongings of the guests”. So we left our property in your possession, you lost it, and you are saying you take zero responsibility for it? Stephen did not even attempt to offer any reparations for their mistake, insisting that because the card belonged to my friend and the server put it on our table, then they had zero fault in the matter. Who puts a credit card on a table where no one is sitting, out in the open, and where anyone can see it? Sarah was so concerned about someone signing the bill that she came to find the group but why didn’t she bring the card with her? It makes no sense. The cherry on top was the multiple charges on my friends card to a beauty discount store, a nail shop, and other things that took place during our stay at this horrible establishment. Sadly there is no proof of who took it, although we have our suspicions, because the camera conveniently did not provide a clear view of our cabana. This place is really sketchy. They steal your stuff and tell you they can do nothing about it. Good luck to Sarah’s future customers. Keep your belongings close. And Stephen, you’re a worthless “supervisor”. The fact that you could not give me your managers name and phone number makes this situation more sketchy.
The lazy river is nice and fun for a getaway with the kids. That’s about it.We stayed 3 nights and the room didn’t look clean. Lots of dust under the tv and there was a used lipgloss on the floor next to the fridge. I later saw housekeeping and it’s was just one older lady doing it all alone?!? Poor lady, no wonder. The room comes with no amenities, no hot water for tea or coffee, barely any channels on the small TV, and no free wifi. No info on dining or anything in the room. There is a small fridge and that’s it. We asked for extra towels and they wouldn’t bring more than 4. The shampoo and soap in the shower were awful, cheap. The rooms look so outdated and motel like. When we asked for housekeeping to come remake our beds on day 3 due to a spill and they told us they don’t do that but could bring some new sheets for us to remake our beds. A little shocking for a supposedly nice hotel, and the clean sheets never came. They just want to do the bare minimum, I don’t even think they do.The resort is far from everything and there isn’t really any food options for kids or vegans. We had to argue at the pool to be allowed to bring a snack in for our 2 year old who had allergies. The food available at the pool is not much at all, when asking about vegan options, they shrug and act rude or said the veggie burgers are already premade so the ingredients cannot be changed (what?! Premade burgers?). We had dinner at the Cafe, 2 adults and 4 kids including a toddler. 2 of the kids weren’t going to eat but the hostess was quick to show us we would be charged a mandatory 21% gratuity for being a party of 6. The service wasn’t good (pretty inexistant), and then you have to stand in line for 10 mins to pay for your bill. I usually do tip 20% but not when this is the service we get. Seems like everyone hates working there. What happened Harrahs? You used to have excellent customer service! Treat and pay your employees better maybe?There are only two bathrooms at opposite sides and none close to the restaurants which is a hassle when you have to run with a potty training toddler in the middle of dinner.I don’t gamble so no idea about the casino. The smell of cigarette is awful.It is kid friendly but not really.
Went there for my sister birthday...mini vacation. Stayed for eight days. Never again. Check in time is at 4pm. Stood in line to check in and was told room being cleaned. Somewhere around 6pm got a text saying room ready. Had to stand in another long time to get the room key. Ok...got to room and not impressed for a HARRAHS. Two small drawers. Mini fridge was mini for sure and froze everything. You get a handful of TV channels. The best thing was the bathroom...spacious. Food hell of expensive. Be prepared to pay a bit over 20 bucks for 3 street tacos. There is a cool deli, sandwich shop and burger place. Appreciate the Starbucks. Lazy river looks more like a wading pool. No drinks after 2am! Id rather take the extra time and go to Vegas.
Had such a fun time on a quick overnighter with the bestie. Hells Kitchen was so good, and so were the slots! Great staff. Shocked at how the rooms smelled nothing of smoke considering how heavy it is in the casino.
The blow fan is rediculously loud. Room does not have coffee maker. Wifi does not work, IT ticket submitted for 3 days, no solution - and IT IS NOT FREE ANYMORE. $12.99 for 2 devices for 24 hours. NOT a great place to stay with family that has small kids. My sons enjoy the lazy river - that’s about it! Recommednd a different hotel/resort if you have small kids.
The river pool was nice, on the smaller side. Its bummer you have to buy the floaters and that there are no available sun chairs, only the ones you have to pay extra to rent are available. For over $ 450/ night price tag, the room was sorely disappointing. We requested a non-smoking, pet free room due to allergies. We received a smoke smelling room that was not well cleaned, dust bunnies on ac vent, window base, and under the bed, along with wet toy water balls under the bed. Couldnt even open the window for fresh air. It was bolted shut, and the ac kept turning off throughout the night. We complained to one of the front desk female white managers . All she could do was give us an upgraded room next time we visited (and we didnt want to come back), we declined that offer . At the end, she said we could have a complementary breakfast at the diner inside the hotel and to just charge it to our room and that she would take care of the charges. We told her it was us 2 and 2 teens. She said that was fine. After we ate 4 dishes and an appetizer, we returned to the front desk to make sure she did take care of it. She did not honor her word. I think she expected us to just leave and deal with the charges on our own. She did not want to credit us the breakfast bill and said she had told us we could only spend $60, but she didnt tell us that at the beginning. We straight out called her a liar, and she didnt deny it! She just ignored us and left us waiting there at the front desk for over 30 min until we asked to speak to another manager above her.
Went to a birthday party in a room near the top floor. Wow! What a place! Like a large apartment w/a outside patio overlooking all of Rincon, the pool and water park.
I think it totally sucks that the managers stand around doing absolutely nothing when people are having problems with the machines for there prizes and credits. Thanks for nothing jerks and I bet the ones giving you guys 4 0r 5 stars works here!!!!!! And I wouldnt even touch the gym if they dont clean the rooms right Im sure the gym is disgusting. The only good thing about harrahs is a couple of waitresses and massage area thanks
The rooms were nice and spacious.The pool was heated outside, which was nice. The cashiers were nice.The security didnt give any sense of security at all, and it was unfortunate.
First time venturing out this far. Was worth the drive. Service was beyond reproach! Genuine smiles and friendly greetings.Has breakfast in the cafe. I was not hungry when we left. Good portions and reasonable priced. Highly recommend the BLT Benedict!
Its okay, the rooms are clean and theres nice service, but everything is insanely overpriced, the food is so expensive, and their isnt lots of food options anyway. also, at the pool, going in the lazy river 5 times eventually just gets boring. if u come here, stay for 2-4 days, their isnt much to do for over a week.
Had a blast in this hotel, family with kids friendly. Food is also good with nice rooms. The pool is the best place in the hotel other than the card games.
Harrahs has great food and fun pools. This is a party atmosphere. Swimup bar is do fun. There was a issue getting our room, but they made it right for future use.

This hotel is very smokey, dirty and poir service alk around, with the exception of Helks Kitchen which was phenomenal. No one told us our room would be on top of the Brewery bar which had EXTREMELY loud musc that shook our room, and we couldnt even sleep. They dont even own the place so they can do nothing about it!! The beds are very high for short people. My sis and I are 51 and it was a challenge to get into bed. My sis had to sleep in the chair because she hurt her back getting into bed!!And sadly I had charges that were not mine charged to my card, even after check out!!!! I brought it to their attention, and fixed it, but why? Over $1000. They dropped off 3 days later but why???? It inconveniently held up my credit card. A day AFTER I checked out there were more charges! And pool charges? They dont handle it. So I had to spend more time at the pool paying. 2 hrs to checkout and resolve!!The pool is also not owned by Harrahs. Most of the seating at the 3 poosl are pay only..$100-$250. The very little free seating is shoved in the back and so tight you cant get near it. Such a rip off!! Finding a waitress was near impossible.
Harrahs is like a mini Vegas in SoCal… sooo much fun… the drive is beautiful… the pool is refreshing… they have it all and it’s in your backyard! Be careful because you won’t want to leave!!
Great place to get the Vegas vibe in socal... located at the base of Palomar mtn if u have the means alot of local bars and restaurants a short drive.. La Jolla camp grounds and the top of Palomar are a must see
The rooms are mediocre. Smells like smoke everywhere. But I like the location and the atmosphere. The food choices are good. The outdoor areas are relaxing. Kid friendly.
Beautiful resort and the rooms second to none. Friendly and helpful with upscale dining and the best is their lazy river and pool. Definitely one of the best Socal casinos by far.
Well, does anybody remember the days when casinos used the occasional WIN as an incentive to return visits?Harrahs doesnt follow that business plan. I cant say they are alone in that, however....When the mob controlled gaming in Vegas, et al... the house consistently made a profit. Players had a fair chance to play and win. Now, that corporations own those properties, winnings flow one way only.That said...Im over due to find a mo betta way to spend my money and time.
I took advantage of the free nights on my bday. and stayed with 3 friends having a great time even though we didnt hit any jackpot, we enjoyed good food and a lot of fun.
This place was absolutely horrendous. Rooms weren’t ready for us, the guest services folks were ridiculously rude, there were people that had been there for hours waiting on a room. I’ve been to many Harrah’s and this is a no go for me. Ever again. They aren’t like ANY other I’ve been to. Lazy, rude, the casino is LAME, and I didn’t talk to a single person who enjoyed their time. I don’t know how they’re open. My biggest fear was they kept saying the rooms weren’t clean so I was worried the rooms were not actually cleaned once we finally got in there. It’s a terrible hotel.
On the 14th of September, me and my friend were at Harrahs playing and decided we wanted to stay so we would just get a room. I went and spoke to the front desk and they were able to get a room. I was told $175 and it was just a standard room. We got the room, went upstairs, dropped our stuff in and left. When we decided we were ready to sleep we went into the room and realized that there were crumbs all over the floor. I opened the bed and saw that it looked like it hadn’t been made the top sheet was shoved to the bottom of the bed, the cover sheet was really crinkly, and the pillows… blew me away. (Photos posted) My friend called down to the front desk. He explained what was going on and was transferred to a girl named Victoria. I heard him repeating himself and then he all of a sudden said “oh she hung up” I called back and said “hey so my friend just called down and was hung up on” she proceeds to say “umm actually, that was me and I didn’t hang up the phone hung up itself and I didn’t know the room number so I couldn’t call back” That made 0 sense seeing as you are using an internal line. I’ve worked at hotels, calls don’t just “drop” when you’re talking on internal lines, but ok, I just let it go. She then said “we can switch you to another room if you really think it’s that dirty, but as for compensation, my supervisor will be in at 8:00 a.m. (mind you it is 1:30 a.m. in the morning and we are exhausted, just wanting to sleep.) I told her that and said just have your supervisor call me in the morning. She took my number and we hung up I legitimately could not sleep on that bed. It smelt strange and just felt gross so I decided I’d rather just move so we can get SOME sleep. I took the “pillow” and went downstairs and spoke to a girl (I don’t know her name because her tag was turned) she then went and got Victoria who, as soon as she came out, condescendingly said “oh so you decided to switch rooms after all” I told her yeah, I’d like to be able to sleep. I showed her the pillow and said “this is what we have up there, is this standard?” She just laughed and said no. Didn’t seem surprised or anything. I was just in absolutely aww about how she was responding to this situation, no I’m sorry, no I’ll talk to anyone, just giggling and condescending remarks. After we were done, I asked her what I should do with the pillow since I just brought it down to make them aware and she scrunches her face and says “just take it with you, we don’t want it” I was just absolutely blown away. I didn’t feel like having any kind of argument, but she was so disrespectful and rude that I didn’t even want to stay there anymore. We got to the new room, which was clean, with the sack of lumpy cotton that they called a pillow. The other pillows were better, but still very lumpy. After about 2 hours laying there trying to get comfortable and fall asleep, we decided that we absolutely could not and ended up leaving. I checked my account and saw that the room was $375 not $175. I love Harrahs and have never had a single issue. This was the first time I’ve ever slept in a room there and will never do that again. I thought about calling to try to get my money back since we absolutely could not sleep in it due to the state of the pillows and bedding, but based off of the lovely Victoria’s attitude. I thought it would be pointless… had it just been the room and she had shown some sort of courteous customer service, I would still want to come here to play, but the whole experience was so awful that I will never go back. I know they have camera footage of me coming up with the pillow and I hope after this review, that they will look at it. So much dishonesty and disrespect from their employees is unacceptable, especially when there was clearly an issue. Guess the $375 room was what I had to pay to learn a lesson.

Had a WONDERFUL time here! Staff everywhere were kind, polite, and friendly!On Independence Day, we were greeted by the Statue of Liberty and Uncle Sam on stilts! What a Wonderful and Patriotic way to be welcomed!ONE COMPLAINT is that they have discontinued in room coffee. Ugh! The reason given was Covid-19, which is garbage because the Silver Legacy in Reno is a Caesars property, and they have Kurig type coffee makers and Starbucks pods and is a wonderful way to wake up. The Starbucks downstairs is understaffed, and the lines go on forever... PLEASE bring back inroom coffee!SECOND complaint is that although the room was clean and nice, the beds are on a metal platform, making them wayyyyyyyy too tall for my 5 foot tall mother, and my feet kept hitting the metal platform. Completely UNNECESSARY!On a VERY POSITIVE NOTE, the Cafe serves wonderful food, huge portions, and reasonably priced! Ari, our waitress was FABULOUS! She was attentive, not intrusive, has a great attitude, gracious, and never rushed us!Overall, it was a pleasant stay, just the in room coffee needs to come back and the bed platforms need to be removed!
Pleasantly surprised for an area so close to Orange County. Exceeded expectations. Specifically the staff. Lyn and Victoria at the front desk. Incredibly helpful and accommodating.Rooms are nice and clean. Cleaning staff are great and no complaints. My room, specifically, was great. Large bed, comfortable, nice bathroom, and (it was a comp room) exceeded expectations.
Older rooms due for an upgrade, good service and is furthest casino/resort from the north county coastline. Makes it worth the drive when you win a little something!!

Ive been here approx 30 times and atleast 28 of times it had been an amazing experience. There were just a couple of times that the rooms or the service was less than but you cant win them all right lol
Its a little far out there, but if you really wanna get away but still be close that works.. Saturdays are super busy at the pool and I mean busy! It was also pretty busy inside the casino as well

Harrahs shows love, and i Love Harrahs second time coming with my papa and its been fun and fun winning a lil bit more than what I came with. Staff is so nice and its just very welcoming. Thank you Harrahs for making good memories

No restaurant is open after 10 pm. week nights. That was very bad for me and anyone else who has diabetes. Other wise services were very bad on the casino floor. No service at all.
Interesting Oasis in the middle of nowhere. Enjoyed my stay here and understand that its not Vegas, but expected a little bit more. Aside from Hells kitchen being there, there were no real other options for higher-end dining here. On the bright side they had several hot tubs, which I found very enjoyable given it was very cold while I was visiting. Overall the scenery around the area was breathtaking, but the journey to get there was not convenient from either San Diego or LA, because there is no convenient way to get here from the interstate and requires travel on several annoying two-lane highways to get there.
This review is based on my overnight experience. I booked three rooms at this hotel for my bday vacay and asked front desk during check-in if we can have all of our rooms on the same floor. They said it’s possible but they’re not all ready. I asked how much longer and front desk rep said depends on how dirty the room was left. I agreed to wait even though they had rooms ready at different towers and floors. Two hours pass and check with front desk to ask about rooms. Erica was working the whole time I was waiting and she kept saying they were not ready. I kept asking every hour that passed and Erica still said they weren’t ready. At about 4 hours, I asked her if we can get any available room. At this point, I had a tired baby crying and frustrated family members who just wanted to take a nap and get settled. After 5.5 hours, I finally get a text that our rooms were ready. I would like to add that every time I would ask front desk if our rooms were ready, I had to wait in line for about 15-30 mins because there were only two front desk reps working the whole day. Unbelievable experience and terrible customer service! Hotel really needs to think about online or mobile check-in process for their guests. They have kiosks for check-in but that line was also long!At around 5:30pm, we finally get into our rooms and one set of our room keys weren’t working. Great! I had to get back in line for another 15 mins just to get the keys reset. When we finally get into our rooms, the rooms weren’t as clean. Furniture was scuffed and dusty as if no one had been there for days! I thought there weren’t any rooms available?! Beds at least were clean, but towels were super linty that we could see the lint flying in the air and on our skin. Rooms had no coffee machine, no microwave but there was a mini fridge and a phone. To top it all off, at about 10:30pm, one of our room’s toilet started spewing out soapy water! Maintenance came in 30 mins later and fixed the toilet and mopped the floor. Maintenance also commented that the toilets flooded a lot, like it was a common thing. Shocking! We saw that our neighboring room also had a flooded toilet! The water from both rooms started leaking into the hallway and our floor had fans blasting all night! You can hear them through the walls! We asked to be moved to another room because we wanted to sleep, but they said no, so we sent our kids to the other rooms that didn’t flood. Horrible and irritating! But we were too tired to be mad at this point to argue. We were luckily only staying for one night and we dropped off our keys and got out of there as soon as we can! So sad we wasted money in this place and would not recommend the hotel to anyone thinking about staying. Maybe consider staying if they charge less than $100/night or room is comped. Only good time we had was at the lazy river with the kids. Of course there were so many kids cannon balling into the pool splashing us in our chairs and no lifeguards monitoring the pools, but we just tried to enjoy any semblance of a good time
Went to see Mike Epps. I like the venue. Steps are easy to walk up. I didnt suffocate from smoke. Overall a cool venue for entertainment.
Havent been here since 2018. Came to gamble a bit on a Monday afternoon. Did pretty good gambling wise. Had Smashburger and was delicious.However, extremely disappointed the buffet is gone. A Gordon Ramsay restaurant? Enough of the celebrity restaurants!UPDATE: Received a complimentary stay. Given a room in the Dive Inn Tower. The hallways are scuffed from the housekeeping carts. Exposed wiring from wall decorations. Dirty and stained carpets. Only 1 elevator was working. Room furniture scuffed, dirty and peeling veneer. No pen and paper to write on, no complimentary water bottle and no coffee maker. The a/c is super loud and a smudged window. At least the bathroom and beds were clean.The casino area is good. Machines were tight. The area where Smashburger & Earl of Sandwich is located is tucked away and limited seating. There was no sense of urgency to get the food out by either place.Overall, even though it was a complimentary night, it was disappointing and it does not make me want to come back anytime soon. Harrahs needs to remodel the Dive Inn Tower and pay attention to the property maintenance.
Its a great hotel if you want to go to the casino, but they make you pay for the internet service which is not cool, it is not either friendly for business meetings or working travel
I feel like Im at home when Im there. I miss it when Im not there. Large casino, and the pool is amazing. Beds are absolutely so comforting. Dont care for the unadjustable rain showerhead. Better if you get a room with a bathtub. And before COVID they had microwaves and a coffee maker. Bring them back housekeeping please.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! Worst customer service. I usually have sympathy for customer service representatives. But here there was no respect. Or any industry standards. The older bartender tried serving me a older beer when I specifically asked from the tap. He literally grabbed a open cup of beer from a refrigerator and told me it was fresh. I have no idea how long it was in there for. But I definitely saw him not give me fresh from the tap. Low standards and unwelcoming. Never again.
I stayed here for a family vacations my room was located on the first floor. Once I arrive to my room i noticed it had a bad cigarette smell. I told the staff my room smells like smoke during check in they did nothing about it. They did let me know they can send over a ozone machine to try and help. The 2nd day I woke up with red bites on my right upper arm and other parts of my body. I went to the front desk, And told the lady at checkin, Also talk to the manager regarding moving rooms she informed me that was a housekeeping matter and that housekeeping will go to my room to determine if I can get a room change. My bed has bed bugs, fleas or something because i did not have this prior to coming to this hotel. This is my first time visiting this hotel and I am so disappointed with the service I have receive it. This has cased my whole family great disservice we now have to be treated for bug bites!!!
Its a casino a casino does casino things, to me its a fools game but if you like the jingle jingle of games with no concept the hope to hit a jingle that gives you hope that you had another jingle go to a casino. I cant stand them myself
Harrah’s has the best restaurants when you come gamble. Rooms can be hit or miss but the food and drinks are great. Try Rita’s for the best margaritas!
Used to be our go-to place, starting when they only had one small hotel tower. Disappointed this trip- no restaurants open before 11 AM except for Starbucks or the diner. Breakfast burritos at the Rita’s taco truck are only available on weekends. With the buffet now an expensive celebrity restaurant, dinner choices are pretty limited. As for gambling, unless you’re a slots player, it’s not worth the drive- video poker odds on the few remaining single hand machines are abysmal.
Security stinks. Plays favorites & vice versa. Makes up whatever convenient on their turf.
Very slow front desk … self check in hard to use . And machine down . And won’t give you access to the pool and you will have to wait in another line to get a stupid pool pass to go to the pool…
Second time here (12/21@8:30pn), at Hells kitchen, Harrahs Casino), and once again the food was phenomenal. The steaks were very flavorful, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad were fresh and tasted great. The sides were delicious and accompanied the meal very well. The portions were generous and priced accordingly. Although, the food tasted great, I would be remiss if I didn’t highlight the great work of our server, Victoria V. Not only was she very personable, friendly and projected a professional demeanor, she was well-versed on the brand of Hells kitchen and shared lots of information on restaurant operations. Without question the great food coupled with her genuine interest in customer satisfaction made our meal much more enjoyable. My ask is that she be recognized in some fashion for her great work and knowledge. I have and will continue to recommend Hells kitchen to my family and friends.Second Review “Valet service”On 8/18/23, @ 2:30pm, while walking into the casino, I saw a white SUV leaving the valet area being driven by a valet/Porter. The SUV was being driven around to the valet pick-up area in the front.The valet was driving extremely recklessly, and the speed was so excessive it caused the engine to roar. There is absolutely no reason any vehicle especially one that belongs to someone else should be driven in this manner.The need to deliver a vehicle to an awaiting guest in a timely fashion doesn’t outweigh the importance and responsibility of using due care when driving.I had contemplated utilizing the valet services but after witnessing this I’d rather park and walk. My hope is surveillance camera’s in the valet holding area will provide some assistance in locating the individual responsible.Without question this is a risk management/liability issue for the hotel should one’s property be damaged and/or someone is severely injured due to negligence.I’d ask that refresher training be administered to all valet personnel and a discussion be had (ASAP),on the importance of respecting someone’s property, driving safely and at an appropriate speed.I look forward to your reply.
This is a better than average casino and hotel for this area (Pechanga #1). I recommend you come here, gamble here, dine here and have fun here. Worth the drive and time. 👍
Haven’t been here since 2020 and boy have things changed this used to be an old vegas style casino with a poker room ect now its new vegas style i dont like it personally but some do prefer it. Everything else is top notch highly recommend.
Weekends or holidays excellent service from dining to room service. Plus a wide variety of games to choose from.
Casino was nice and clean. I didnt stay overnight, but did enjoy my time at the casino. People who worked there were all friendly.
Dirty, gang graffiti in the elevators and bathrooms. Machines were dirty and no wipes were visible anywhere I looked. Gaming action came out 11¢ loss after $300 of slot play, but DIRTY. Cant return, gangsta graffiti means ill-behaved activities. Probably the heaviest smokers of all local casinos too.
Went to John Fogarty concerts. Nice venue great show. Still has a great voice.
Wanted to give a shout-out to my casino host Ericka Holloway for making dinner extra special. She definitely made my family and I feel appreciated. Unfortunately the gas was malfunctioning at the restaurant but the manager and server did everything they could possibly do in their control to still make it a good dinner. Will definitely go back to the cafe to try the hot plates. Thank you again Ericka.
Great vibe. Never went thirsty, the service was amazing. Feels like Vegas. This place has everything you need for a casual escape.

It seems to be a very old hotel. The rooms and furniture are in need of updates and repairs but theyre still decent for family and weekend getaways. Theres a fridge in the room. And the blackout curtains are excellent!It was too cold to access the pool or lazy river.The check in process needs serious improvement. There were 2 out of order check in kiosks and 3 lines at the check in desk: one to pick up keys, one for diamond members, and one for everyone else. Diamond members were plentiful. I stood in the everyone else line for 30 minutes on a Monday, trying to check in. There were only 4 people in front of me but the Diamond members line kept moving as it filled up. I guess thats a good thing for Diamond members but it sucked for me.We went to Hells Kitchen. The food was good. The service was a little slow because of a staffing problem but we didnt mind enjoying the ambiance while waiting.It was ok to stay once but I wouldnt go back. Definitely will return to Hells Kitchen.
This place isn’t very entertaining. Only one floor to play slots, not many options and there was only one bartender for the entire floor. Not coming back here again that’s for sure.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Harrahs Resort and Casino, and it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. The resort is luxurious and the casino is packed with excitement, but what made my stay even better was the amazing clothing store they have on site.This clothing store had a fantastic selection of high-quality clothing, but what really caught my eye was their Jack of Spades jeans. As a fan of the brand, I was thrilled to see such a great selection of Jack of Spades clothing on offer, including their amazing jeans. I couldnt resist picking up a pair, and I have to say, it was very cool hitting the Jack of Spades card while wearing Jack of Spades jeans!The stores staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the shopping experience even better.
Their manager is really nosy. We brought a service dog and they insisted on doing a safety check to make sure he wasnt tearing up the room.
The hotel itself was not that bad, i actually liked it. BUT, the pool was absolutely disgusting. It was super cloudy as if you were swimming in fog water. Which tells me it wasnt clean one bit. I wonder how many people get sick that swim there. Stay for the gambling but avoid their pool.

Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had. Been three times and it somehow gets worse every single time. You can be the nicest, most upbeat and encouraging person, yet it wont matter. Id say about 75% of their staff is stuck up, rude, aggressive and just nasty. I never see any waitresses or water/beverage employees walking around. The slot attendants and lead supervisors treat you like trash. Oh and their ATM fees are $9(!!!!!). I can deal with all the horrible customer service if they even remotely paid out. Trust me, I know going to a casino means youre open to losing, but this place is beyond rigged and suspicious. A supervisor, slot attendent, or whoever it was, came up behind me and mubled something into his microphone and walked away. You may think Im acting cynical, but me and my friend instantly started losing everything after he walked away. Wed move and play something else, and guess what? Wed be doing alright. Until THE SAME THING KEPT HAPPENING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. This place needs to be shut down. Its egregious what they do. Ive played at nearly every casino in SD county. None, and I repeat, NONE are anywhere near as bad as this place. I cant think of one single reason why its worth coming to this place. There are so many better options. Of youre north, Valley View and pechanga blow this place out of the water. If east/south SD, Sycuan is a nice facility with nice workers, at least when you lose you dont feel like youve been spit on. Viejas is a great option as well. Barona is smaller and a bit more intimate but they treat you well and the comps are amazing. Any other casino is a better option. Id even rather go to Pala or Pauma and that says a lot... harrahs is a disgusting facility and not because of its looks. You should be ashamed of yourselves. At least the view is nice. Thats all you have.

No room service, no cleaning, rooms aren’t clean when you check in, once you check in the rooms aren’t actually clean. Overall, this is the closest to a 2-star, 3-star hotel you can find. Hells Kitchen was nice at least.
A little out of the way. Went there to see Lindsey Sterling. The venue was cozy, but the cigarette smoke was nauseous.
STAY AWAY. Worst casino in SOCAL!! Used to be the best. None of the machines work and terrible customer service.
Rooms are very nice but more importantly, the bathroom is amazing. Large tub big enough for 2 with separate shower and the toilet has its own little room for extra privacy when handling your business. Casino is very fun. A little on the small side when it comes to slot machines. But the atmosphere strongly makes up for that. Their pool has a lazy river which comes in handy when traveling with the little ones and a separate pool for adults. They also have a hall for concerts. Love Harrahs will definitely be going back.
Nice resort, but not worth the price. For as much as you pay for the room (and resort fee!) youd expect that they would keep up on the maintenance. Our room had busted cabinets in it. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a large bath. The lazy river was closed for repair, so the resort fee didnt seem worth it at all. It is a smoking casino, but I didnt see too many people smoking, luckily. The Mexican restaurant and the cafe were both good and had good service.
Harrahs has the worst checkin of any hotel ever. We waiting 47 minutes in line to check in and there were 6 people in front of us. The shorter line for Diamond members - nobody even checks if there are. When you get to the staff at the counter - they just are rude to you and have excuses as why it takes so long. The manager comes out ever once in awhile - maybe he should roll up his sleeves and help. They should be smart enough not to get all their guests mad on the way in - everyone in line is upset.
Stayed for the week of 4th of July and the lazy river pool for the kids was amazing. They loved it every day we were there!

This place is the most accommodating and with a staff that will bend over backwards to make your stay the most relaxing, enjoyable, and fun as possible. The security staff here is unlike any other as they all come across friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to solve any issues you may be having from lost items to something as silly as finding a particular game. The reason I mention all that is Ive seen some of the things theyve had to put up with and to still maintain such professionalism is amazing. Harrahs Rocks, thank yall for some amazing times, memories, and so on!

Unlike all of the other casinos in the neighborhood, they give nothing to first time customers. I did not feel welcome or appreciated. From north Orange County, you pass by a number of other casinos to get here. Definitely not worth the extra drive.

The people at this resort are so friendly they really want you to feel at home. I would say that this has to be one of the best resort that Ive been to for a very long time. I wish that they had a better way to get access to the resort but it was worth the trip after all.

First time going to Funner, California. Nice casino, lots of machines. Designated NO SMOKING areas, which is nice since we still have to wear masks. Nice eating facilities to choose from.08-27-2023 returned again for Sunday-funday. It is nice casino. Hopefully we get free rooms and make it a fun weekend.
Harrahs is the place to be... The pool area is my favorite out of all casinos... Its got food service is you need it the employees are down to earth people the vibes are great there.... Its affordable and kid friendly that way my main concern cause the kids gotta go with.... Love it
Pool hours were horrible, gym hours were horrible cafe food was good but hostess was rude Ritas reatraunt was good bartender was great. The smashburger wasnt good was burnt and cold.
Its in a middle of nowhere but them þï**ĥ3$ are fine. The structure set up is Las Vegas vibe. Great stores and alot of slot machine selection. The promotional for newly players is not very appealing (downside)

Its always a good casino. Unfortunately the customer service when checking in isnt grate and the rooms are always delayed. Check in is already late at 4 and then they delay it even more till 5 or 6. The pool closes at 6 so you cant even go to the pool! And check out is at 11 so not a lot if time in the room!

I hadnt been in a really long time. I needed to get a new players card. When I approached the girl at the counter I could tell she was in a bad mood. She spoke through clenched teeth and she kept cutting me off as Id answer her questions. I was miffed.The casino is laid out really nicely but the games were super tight. Neither I nor my husband won a thing. It was a huge disappointment.
This has to be our fourth visit to this resort - love the staff, they are truly amazing and customer service oriented! The rooms are always spot less and tidy.We got to dine at Hells Kitchen and wow! The wine selection is amazing and the food doesnt disappoint. I I recommend the Lobster Risotto, Mac and Cheese and the Beef Wellington.We enjoy coming to this resort, its a perfect little getaway, a short drive to Old Town Temecula, very peaceful and laid back. 10/10 recommend!
The pool is nice. The rooms show their age but are pleasant. Passed the same spill on the floor for three days. Terrible service at Earl of Sandwich. Lovely service at the taco truck but Im pretty sure those were some delimex rolled tacos from the grocery store I was served (not the nice ladies working theres fault). Id rather spend my money at Valley View, nicer staff, better food, cleaner, better maintained rooms, just lacks the multi night room comps and the excellent pool.Edit: been back a few times and the cleaning is somewhat better. Bertha at smash burger is a 6 star gem.
Just called tonight 6/22/23 8:45pm asking for service, I know its not cleaning service, but last time the people front desk said to just call request service when needing refill etc, but we just wanted toilet paper and a towel to the room the girl answer the phone end up rude and hang up on me while i was just telling her what we want, i called right back 8:47pm and it end up her again, told her idk if we got disconnected or she hung up, she just rudely say what do i want, i told her i already told you toilet paper and a towel, then she asked for room number etc and as we ending she mentioning if i can make sure the do not disturb is not on door, of course i hung up... i really dont understand why hotel customer service been getting bad with some of the ladies... some are friendly also the guys been fairly and nice at times... this same girl have sounded frustrated everytime on the phone so not sure if she on the break down...
Typing this review as I lie in bed awake from the music they are blasting from the brewery that apparently stays on until midnight. why would you blast music that projects into 50% of your hotel rooms?? oh and this is a smoking resort - disgusting.

Far away from everything. Makes it up with free stuff but restaurants are over priced. EV charge works and is free. Gaming is hard to win. They even do 6:5 blackjack which to me is always a sign of greed.

Always a good time at Harrahs. You dont ever win at places like Harrahs compared to Vegas, but its close and they have a stellar brewery on site. Excellent beer, excellent tequila, and the latest slots is always a good time!

Just earlier 10:30... 4 females also a floor lady, possibly could be the manager, she just walk around behind them and also advice etc the ladies, Im at the key pickup line, 3 other people walk up at the check in line after me and they all go before me, i dont understand why i had to go last if Im just picking up a key also was before all of the 3 that just went... i dont know whats the rule with that but thats pretty unfair... even ask the floor lady if i can just pickup key from machine then but she say it was broken and they just let another one ahead of me instead of just might as well have me a key and on my way... need better managing...
Would you believe the cafe charges you $5 for a piece of style from 2 take your food out of the premises? I never heard of such a thing $5 for Styrofoam
Didnt stay in any rooms but the place was very clean and had plenty of games to play. The bartender was great! The food selection was a little on the selective side, but there is something for everyone. Its a fun place to check out. The view driving in is really nice, but be careful on the road coming in.
Nothing real special about this place. I did not win any money, so I guess you could say the machines are broken. Lol.
Nice room, but no daily room service and we felt we were camping out. I also asked for an early check in and a one hr late check out which was refused. My room was promised by 4pm and we couldnt get in until 4:45.
I stayed one week at the Dive Inn by the pool and one week at N. Tower. The rooms are great and very clean. Staff has always helped when I needed it. Casino floor is great at times when you request a drink at the machine they take awhile. Better going to the bar and order. The pool is great. If you have not visited Harrahs SoCal, I highly recommend you take a vacation there.
Winner every time. The new robot 🤖 isnt all that great at the cafe. Didnt stay this time. Overall, it was a fun time.

Perfect getaway! Check in was fast. They upgraded our room to a corner suite and it was beautiful. Went to the pool @4 wasnt crowded, lounge chairs were available. Drinks were a little pricey and not that good. Had Chinese food for dinner, excellent. We hated to leave, but well be back soon

Slot machines are the tightest Goodluck. You will end up loosing hundreds if not thousands. Expect you rooms to be costly and expensive due to loosing.
Any casino we go we take food drink coffee with us all you need some cooking pot hot water maker for coffee and groceries there are some market near by to shop as well casino food are expensive unless you win
Ate at Hell’s Kitchen for my husband’s birthday. Food, drink, service were excellent with one exception. We ordered the ‘famous’ scallops appetizer. The dish was prepared beautifully but the scallops were not whole. They were extremely thin slices, maybe an 1/8 of an inch at most. Not at all how described & certainly not deserving of the $29 price.
Just visited for a show at the events center Friday night, so cant say much about rooms or service. Managed to stop by and win $9 at craps on the way out. The casino is large, high-tech, clean; what casinos actually look like in the movies (and not the sad, dull, smokey, dumps that seem to be more common in SoCal). Live game tables and various video versions. Good signage, lots of room between machines, aisles would definitely fit wheelchairs.

It’s fun. Wish they had more restaurant options, but most of the ones are good. Our hotel room could hear pool music at 8am which I wish would start later or not be so loud that early. They should bring back the inner tubes for the lazy river like they had pre Covid era.
Wish they served better quality menu at Ritas food truck (and profit shared with the employees when theyre doing the workload of multiple people). There was a 2+ hour wait at the restaurant due to the show so they would be smart to do more quality casual food options to take advantage of that volume (and also so people could get back to gambling:-) The show was great, but at this writing, I recommend eating before you get there.
The suite Has a spider web by the lamp on top of the dining table and was very dusty.
I’m not a casino person, I came to eat at Hell’s Kitchen which was great. The hotel itself was not. As soon as you walk in the place reeks of smoke. I thought smoking was banned in CA, but not there. So gross. I had a non-smoking room on the 6th floor, it still smelled like smoke. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and wanted to switch rooms because I could hear the music blasting from the Brewery, I was told they’d close at 9. So after dinner and a few drinks and video poker in the non-smoking bar I went up to go to bed and the music was still blasting until 11. Uggh, even with ear plugs in you could still hear it. I called the front desk to change rooms immediately upon arrival, but you have to do it in person and I stood in that line for a while but after a few minutes I gave up because I didn’t want to be late for dinner. Not fun in Funner :(

2023-11-28 05:49:03Quite a distance from the Freeway, but this place has everything to offer. The rooms are decent, but they will not clean your room until youre checked out. The restaurants are good and a definite must to check out. I highly recommend Hells Kitchen. The Chinese restaurant has great food but surprisingly expensive prices.But the jewel of this place is the swimming pool and lazy river. You get 4 free passes per room you rent. Not sure what they charge if you dont get a room. Also, they dont sell inner tubes here, so you need to bring your own. Still a good experience and definitely will come back soon.

2023-11-19 19:38:43Loved staying at the Harrah’s resort. Since you arrive the staff is very friendly and welcoming. It’s a pretty big hotel and still it’s not too packed. You have plenty of options for entertainment and food inside the resort. The pools mostly have adults in there but there’s still areas for kids. Our bedroom was very comfy and the bathroom was just amazing, full size bathtub and a shower with great water pressure, hot water available at all times. Would definitely recommend.

There are plenty of bad reviews online about awful passive smoking in here. Just beware. I even called the corporate and hotel. They are very shady and secretive about the fact that they are not smoke free. But they do get complaints about smoke. Dont lecture me about it being a casino. Casinos should be smoke free too. Its a casino, not a concentration camp

2023-09-19 21:48:13We were supposed to stay for one night with my husband and 11month old son. My uncle had booked us a room for my birthday as a gift. Everything was going great, food was good, amenities were great and it wasn’t too crowded on a Monday. It was great until the key card stopped working and we couldn’t get into the room. We went to the front desk to get a key card that actually works and unfortunately my Uncle forgot to put our name on the room, the front desk refused to give us another key card. They said all they could do was have security let us in to get our stuff so we could leave. Clearly, it was our belongings in the room and they still made me, my husband and child leave in the middle of the night because their key card system is flawed. I understand policies made to keep their guests safe and avoid fraud but one call to my Uncle with the number listed on his reservations would have added me to the reservations and they refused to do that. When I told the girl at front desk how upsetting that we’re being punished for their keys not working all she could say was “I don’t have anything else to say to you” and walked away. I’m giving 2-stars because the food servers were good but the front desk service is one of the worst I’ve seen at a “resort” at really deserve 0 stars. They really need to train their staff on how to work in the hospitality industry. In-and-out servers have better customer service.

2023-11-28 18:40:08Poor front desk people offer a 1 star experience trying. As a diamond member, I reserved a comp room 6 months ago. Upon check in they told me they are sold out and that i MUST pay for an upgraded room or not get a room at all. I made my reservation 6 months ago why wouldnt you save a room form a reservation that was planned 6 months in advance. I will not return to this property and am happier going to Yaamava who doesnt pull shenanigans like this.

Everything was very helpful and very friendly happy ate at Hells kitchen. Great Starbucks! Great! Casino was great and for being a Labor Day weekend and I grew up in a tourism area so I know how it gets. Im busy holidays and stuff. I will say they did really good

2023-11-07 18:47:17I love the rooms. Very pretty. I won a video poker a few times. What I didnt like was almost getting cut off of alcohol for getting a little loud. It is a casino not a library. I was not even intoxicated at all. That was a little strange. Nice pool area. I had fun. I left with more money than I brought after gambling, eating and drinking. So it was all good.

2023-09-11 08:24:25The casino is nice and clean and the rooms are spacious and clean as well. The rooms could be a little more updated but they’re not outdated like some Vegas rooms. The pool as always is amazing. They had a DJ all day and there are so many jacuzzis that you’re bound to find one that’s empty. The ones with the waterfalls are pretty too. The Mexican restaurant is really good too. Love the big refillable margaritas. A great place to stay if you’re trying to gamble but also go to the SD zoo or safari park. There’s even hiking trails just down the street.

2023-09-21 17:44:28Just a freakishly weird first time stay. Checking in was a breeze. Went to the room and it hadnt been cleaned yet. But, we were immediately given a really nice room. Minor inconvenience. Then, the tower fire alarm went off. Had to evacuate the whole tower for about 30 minutes. Went back to the room, had a great nights sleep. Woke up. Went down for some gambling fun. But, the power went out on the whole Reservation. Not much you can do about that. The staff handled all of the situations very well. Overall, we had a really great time. Thanks to all of the Harrahs staff who made our stay an exciting and pleasurable one.
