I ordered peking spareribs and they gave me sweet and sour pork. I walked back into the restaurant, showed them my order was wrong, and they told me I was wrong and that it was peking spareribs. Im not stupid and definitely what peking ribs are, but i still said sorry must be my mistake. The picture doesnt lie and neither did I. I was very polite and all I needed was them to fix their mistake. I will never spend my hard earned money there again.

Occasionally feels like Im still waiting the next day... Plan on 1 to 1.5 hour wait for food. Dont even plan on eating here, consider it take out only. If they ever fill that job posted on the door for the last few months might be better. But!!! Its really good food. So I wait and complain with the others waiting...

Stalest food Ive had in a long time. They mustve though Saturday would be busier and made a bunch to early.Im looking forward to them closing so we can hopefully have something better take it over.Fried Rice was straight boiled rice mixed with veggies and pork shavings. Thats it.Spare Ribs were jerky.Salt and pepper pork was rock candy.

The food was pretty good and the servings were pretty big. However, they forgot to give us our chow mein. My wife called to get a refund and they said their machine wasnt working and to let them know next time we come. Hoping it works out, because I like this place.

Tried for the first time night. Sooo good. Everything was hot, and fresh. The Mongolian beef was 🔥 the sesame chicken wasn’t overly sweet. highly recommend. Order took a little long but it was worth the wait. So flavorful.

Very disappointed. This is our second attempt in the past few months of trying to eat here. Both times we have sat down, had not been greeted and not been waited on. The first time we gave them the benefit of the doubt due to them being busy but they never waited on us, said hello or said they’d be right with us.. even after waiting tables around us. Today we sat down. The place was empty. They waited on the one other table in there getting their drinks and order in but never once acknowledged us or said they’d be right with us. After 15 minutes we left once again. Very disappointed and probably will never go back.

The food has sooo much flavor!It’s located in a small shopping center. There is rarely a wait. Staff are ok with their customer serviceRestroom is very small and possibly not Ada compliant.Your food arrives promptly but doesn’t take away from the flavor. We’ve been coming here for over a decade

Fantastic Food. I eat here when Im in town. They have the best Chow Mein and Chow Fun dishes. As well as I love the half roast duck. I get it every time. They dont seem to be a very big operation so I have noticed that there can be a wait at times. Which I dont mind because I know the quality of food I am waiting for. Ive gone there enough to know that sometimes the lady doesnt give me a time but the default time is usually always 45 mins. If there is an improvement it can be wait times and a bell at the front when they both are in the back preparing orders. Other than that the food is fantastic. I am giving them 5 stars, though it probably should be 4 because of the wait time but in my own opinion the quality of the food makes it worth the wait.

The food was delicious!! We got general chicken, chicken chow main and pork fried rice, Wonton soup with noodles. Appetizers we got fired dumplings, crab wontons and egg rolls. They were all delicious and super fresh. The appetizers came one by one which gave enough time to eat them. The main course did take a little bit but it was so fresh and worth the wait. Owners are super friendly and nice. Everything was great.

Ordered my food online through their website for a scheduled pickup. Food was 15 minutes late being ready to pick up, and 10 minutes after I paid and left with my tied bag, I received a call that I “forgot” one of my ordered entrees at the restaurant. I prefer to get all my food properly, and will not return.

Sadly I had a bad experience. After several months of not having Chinese food I was excited to try hengs since I heard it was under new ownership. I ordered, she told me 30 minutes so I waited in the car and went back after 30 minutes. Ended up waiting 30 more minutes for 2 combination plates.The food was horrible, super dry meat, the hot & sour soup was very sweet, rice was dry. The best thing was the fortune cookie.I sure hope they improve.

The lady I swear purposefully didnt give me back the correct change. The customers sitting down were terribly upset with the service. The wait is long for pick up. My food waiting on the counter for 10-15 min while me and several customers came in for pickup. They didnt check the front the whole time. My food was good at least otherwise it would have been 2 stars!

Unfortunately for me I didnt get a good experience. I called in an order about 2:30 to be picked up at 5 oclock. When i got there,t it there is Another lady also waiting for her order that she had previously phoned in. No one came out for at least 15 minutes while I was there. The hostess came out with the other ladies order. I did not receive my order until 20 after 5. Not very happy considered I ordered it way ahead of time. Service definitely needs to be worked on there. I havent ate it yet but I did notice the items I asked them to leave off they didnt so wont be going back there anymore scratch that off my list

Ordered food to go 30 mins prior to arriving at the restaurant. After I was finished ordering, I was never told how long it would be before the food was finished. Entered restaurant and patiently waited at counter for ANYONE to greet or help me. Waited 10 mins and was told afterwards that it would still be at least 5 mins before my food would be finished. Now its been 1hr total since I ordered the food and it still isnt ready. Ive been to this restaurant many times before but this is the absolute worst encounter I have ever had with them. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.P.s. multiple customers entered and none were wearing masks even though it was clearly designated in the door before entering.

I used to tip (even my to go orders) extremely well due to it being local and friendly service being so rare. As of recently, I wont go back. The person who answered pushed me and treated me as if I was an idiot for not viewing the menu on Facebook when I asked simple substitution questions. I know its not the owner but my friends warned me that they have taken a dive in service and food recently. So I would honestly warn others not to come here anymore. I used to tell first timers that it wasnt amazing compared to other REAL authentic Chinese food but since they had good service and speed as well as locality I recommended them. No longer will that be the case. Avoid!!!

My husband and I tried this place and the waiter was so rude! He waited for a long time before getting up to seat us when we walked in. He spoke very little English and didnt seem to be able to recite anything we said to him and the man had no capacity for customer satisfaction. He didnt bring me my water with lemon in it like I asked and when the food was ready he just threw it on the table and didnt even bother giving it to the correct person. Im so tired of being treated with as little respect or consideration as the trash at the dump whenever I go to a Chinese restaurant - learn your manners!!! The waitress that helped serve us was very kind and considerate though and the eggrolls were good which is the ONLY reason I give it two stars, otherwise everything was below subpar for me - even some of the food had very little flavoring.

THE BEST Chinese food restaurant in the ENTIRE AREA. While all their food is fairly awesome, the best is the hot and sour soup (tried many places but no one is ever like the soup at Hengs) and pork pot stickers. They are fairly priced and the portions are good. For lunch Id recommend the Peking spare ribs deluxe combo, by the way.

Ok... So where to start? The food is great. I actually worked with the owner before he got Hengs. Great guy. But the woman who works in the front is ruining everything. She is so rude. Pushy. And impatient. Whenever you go in HER establishment, she acts like youre wasting her time. If her attitude doesnt change, she will run off all of the customers. She did one already.

Me and my fiancé eat there this week and it was the worst! First off the food was under cooked got sick off it both him and I second the owner and I think was his wife where fighting yelling and crying it was so awkward being there I wanted to leave ASAP! We are never going there again

Love Heng, shes always super friendly and always takes time to make kind conversation with us. Delicious food and the pho is phenomenal. Best in town, easily. I HIGHLY recommend the beef ball pho with a Sprite on the side on a rainy day. Heaven. We visit several times a month and plan to for a very long time to come.

Best Chinese in Yuba City. I have loved everything I have ever had there. The Pineapple Chicken is the perfect blend of sweet and savory, the house fried rice is always flavorful (my husband gets it extra spicy), their Pho is just as good as some places in Roseville, and their Crab Wontons...YUM! I have been disappointed with other places in Yuba, but never here.

Hengs is by far the best place to go for Chinese in the yuba sutter area. The reason I didnt give a 5 star is because its not the best Ive had. Nothing I cant go without, but this is the place I would go. Soft chow mein noodles which are good as well as the best pot stickers you can find!
