I’ve ordered both a burrito and the chicken wings— Both were excellent! Arguably the best fried chicken wings around!
I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, butter chicken, and Tandoori Chicken. The sauce tasted like tomatoe soup and nothing Indian about it. Chicken was overcooked, and the portion was small. Literally about 1/2 chicken breast at most for $12.99. Tandoori had the bone in and the meat was not fresh. I couldnt finish my food it was so bad. Waste of good money. They have wooden sporks which was disgusting to eat with. Selection of drinks was canned soda (sprite, coke) and expensive bottled water. This place will not be in business long. The old owner was Indian and the new owner is not. No Indian owner would ever serve bland food like this. Ever.
After almost a year, I ordered from spice six. The ownership has changed and it is now run by people who don’t know anything about Indian food. I must say the taste was not the same. It was the worst Indian take out I’ve ever had. No offense but the new owners shouldn’t serve this food. Especially, if they don’t understand the basic concept of spices used in chicken Tikka masala and/or any other Indian recipe. Advice to new owners, stick to what you know and are comfortable to make. The food I had today was disgusting.
The food is delicious! BUT... Some of the items have a regional touch so its not your regular American-Indian food!Malai Kofta: real good. The curry is creamy and kofta is soft.Chicken Curry: the taste and texture is very similar to the Maharashtrian style chicken curry. So anyone looking for a typical Butter Chicken or Chicken Masala ... dont order this.Biryani: hmmnn...think of this as a very delicious pulav then youll not complain.Makhani Daal: Perfection.
A family friend brought me here on a lovely Sunday morning. I must say I loved the decoration and the food reminded me of cafe-oz in Chandigarh for some reason. Its been 2 years that I am living in US and trust me I know its really hard to find a good quality Indian restaurant. The quantity of food, service, price and basically everything was good, I had a lovely time. Cant wait to come back.! Delicious Indian food.

I usually only write bad reviews BUT...Got this through UBer Eats but this place is REALLY GOOD. and a great addition to the westside South Bay. Typically you have to go inland for these types of korean crispy sauced wings in like Torrance or Lomita.COME HERE. better than honey gold and all that other stuff. On par with B.B.Q.
I was there on a busy Sunday evening and they were short staffed. While it was evident that they had been working hard to keep up with a huge amount of incoming orders, I was particularly sad about them refusing to complete my order after more than 30 minutes of waiting. They were kind enough to offer me something else instead. The food tasted good; I really hope that I can catch them on a better day in the future.
I’m here for the red hot pepper sauce wings, I love spicy and Kentucky Hermosa delivers the spice. I think the prices are reasonable and it’s a new go to spot for an affordable lunch.
This place was sooooooooo good! The paneer wrap-amazing. Next party, I’m ordering a tray and I know they’ll be gone. The shahi paneer: I’ve has this at other restaurants and thought meh...but this one uses lots of cashews in the sauce and it adds so much depth, flavor and texture. Everything we had was great including the Chole bhatura and samosa chat. Also, the owner so very personable and friendly. I just wish they were in delivery distance from me!
Some of the BEST Indian food I have EVER had. They take the extra steps for the food to taste amazing. Naan was perfect, curries were delicious, tandoori chicken exceptional. You have to love a small, family-owned Indian food restaurant.
After a day of dancing, color, good vibes, and celebration at the Holi Festival, what better way to complete the day then to eat some delicious Indian food!The restaurant has a small private lot if youre lucky enough to snag a spot, but if you come during normal dining hours, I could see it filling up quick. Spice Six offers a variety of curries, appetizers, biryani, and other delectable dishes. What I like about this restaurant is that they give you a side of rice with your curry! If youre dining alone they also have combination plates available, if youd like the option of having a little variety with your meal.Because we had a large group, we were able to try a lot of the curries they had to offer. We ordered the American staple of Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, and adventured with the Lamb Curry and Aloo Gobi. The colors of the curries looked so pretty, and I enjoyed them all so much!You can never go wrong with Chicken Tikka Masala, thats always tasty. The Butter Chicken was interesting because it tasted like Marinara Sauce and Chicken, not at all what any of us was expecting. The Lamb Curry must have been one of my new favorite curries, the meat was so tender and the spices made the curry burst with flavor! The Aloo Gobi was good because with all that protein, it was nice to have a curried cauliflower and potato vegetarian dish! Plus it helped calm the fire of the spicy curries!Perfect meal to end an beautiful day! I just wish this location was closer to my house so I could go more often!
The place has changed ownership. The food is really bad and the people do not know the dishes offered. They mixed up channa masala with Chicken tikka when I was picking up my order. The channa were not undercooked and did not have any flavor.
Lovely small mom n pop restaurant serving food with authentic rare Indian spices unlike a lot of the other spots which skim on them. They also carry a nice selection of locally made delicious ice creams.
One of the best Indian Restaurant in South Bay. I loved the Chicken-Tikka masala. The chicken in the dish was perfectly cooked and the sauce was mouth watering. The ambience of the place is very welcoming. Amazing food, fast delivery and very affordable prices.Ps: Dont forget to try their Wraps.

Crunchy to the core !! Definitely try this place out. It’s cozy and cute little place, however the Korean fried chicken is amazing !
I absolutely CANNOT stop my craving for Indian food after Ive tried this place and Id probably still make the drive weekly/daily to have it even living over 40 minutes away. The owners really care about getting to know their customers and making it an enjoyable experience for you, and it doesnt hurt that theres free wifi that they will openly share with you if asked.
I want to give this a 3.5 rating just for the food quality but made it 4 for the truthfulness of the owner or person running the place. We ordered only once. Ordered chole bhatura, naan, kofta. Chole was good but kofta was ok. They had sweets like rasgulla and human jamun. I asked the person if they were made in the restaurant he said its from the canned jars he got from the market. Service was good.
Super weak. We ordered tikka masala and saag paneer, both completely lacked flavor and the amount of chicken/cheese was disappointing. Wont be going back.
Best Indian cuisine ever! Family friendly and absolutely delicious! I would recommend this place to anyone who is out to eat, or even take out! Even though far away, Its totally worth it!
This Korean fried chicken place is the closest thing to authentic (I’m Korean) without driving all the way into K-town. So glad they opened here and hope they stick around.
Very tasty food always. Food is also made to order keeping in mind any food restrictions. Management & cook is very Frank & open with what can be done or not & give a sufficient number of options despite our food restrictions. Like their attitude to help the customer instead of disappointing them saying flat they cant have anything cooked with the given food restrictions. Happy to know I have some place to go with my family despite my food restrictions😁
Updating my review (2/24/22). Looks like there has been a change of ownership. The food here used to be soooo good, but not anymore. The quality has gone down substantially. Eat at your own risk.
We had: chicken tikka masala, lamb curry, sag paneer and a dal. Both the chicken and the lamb were super tough and the meat itself was tasteless. We had almost no paneer in our sag paneer. Overall all sauces/preparations are really average /one dimensional - a shame since indian food can be so flavorful and multi dimensional.
Wish I could give it a zero! Tasted the worst biriyani ever.It was nothing but veg pulav with capsicum, tomatoes and boiled chunks of lamb!! Absolutely no where near to be called as a biriyani and it tasted horrible.DO NOT waste your money in here
A-MA-ZIIIIIIIING if I could describe my dining experience in one word? Ive always been sort of an adventurer especially when it comes to cuisines I am so glad to have chosen to do it here at spice six the food seemed to just het better with every bite. I mean every flavor had its own identity and was equally as good as every other flavor but unique and when I blended the sauces with the nan and meat. Like I said amazing.
Bland food. Roti was hard, shahi paneer was tasteless, and biriyani was tomato rice. They have veggie wraps(burrito style) on the menu, and the paneer tikka wrap that i ordered, was not so great. Pricey too..
This place is really bad. Nice staff, but the food is terrible. The chicken in my Tikka Masala was hard to chew and Im pretty sure some of the pieces wasnt even chicken. Sauce tasted nothing but cilantro.
Love the combo dish; food always fresh and flavorful. Top it off with unusual Indian ice cream treats from the freezer. Eat in or take out. Clean, friendly, and Bollywood tv.

Food is generally good but the service is horrible. If you order pickup and it says the food will be ready in 30 minutes, be prepared to wait at least an hour before you get your food.
This is a very small joint but food is awesome.. We tried Chicken Biryani, Malai Kofta, Chicken Korma. All are very well cooked. We are highly recommended it.

This place is small and pleasant, tremendously cozy, the food in my personal taste is the best, I have tried other Indian foods but this flavor is so rich and exquisite, I have been visiting this place for about 6 or 7 years. Perfect to go to eat and then enjoy the beach.

Go for the bone in wings for sure these are not your typical bone in wings these things are so meaty! You will not be disappointed. We got the honey butter and the sweet and spicy wings you can tell these sauces are home made all the perfect amount of spicy and sweet! They even use real honey in the sweet sauces! Can’t wait to come back and try something else I’m sure you can’t go wrong with anything you get on the menu!

One top of that the tacos, pastor and asada (what weve tried so far) are truly out of this world! Salsas made in house. & they cater! We will be back.

2020-09-19 16:20:54We really need to focus on this restaurant and make sure they stay afloat during these uncertain times. There has never been a bad meal or experience for us at least when we order from here. The family is the sweetest and their flavors immediately transport me back to childhood and growing up with my friend Neena’s mom’s cooking. How fortunate am I to be able to live so close and support this place how I can. I only wish I could do more.You really can’t go wrong with any dish here.For those (like my own kids) who can’t handle a lot of heat- their mild is exactly that but not without full flavor. Robust and beautiful flavors and colors.Plus, their mango lassi are the best I’ve ever had.Please let’s make sure to keep these folks going.

2022-11-26 00:37:58Tremendous Korean-style fried chicken. I ordered the chicken and rice meal with sweet and spicy sauce. It came with a generous portion of rice and cabbage salad. The chicken was cooked to perfection: crispy and moist and bathed in a hot honey sauce with sesame. I dont know how the chef was able to get such a perfect texture!

I ordered the Ttokbokki (which is a spicy soup like dish with rice cakes) and the sesame balls. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

I recommend trying the A1 boneless chicken with the garlic and the sweet and spicy sauce.Review is for Hermosa Kentucky, which just opened. It seems like some of these reviews are for the Indian place which was previously at this address.

2020-11-16 03:14:16Great, Authentic Indian food.Family run, as I missed this place when they closed shop to travel back to India.Now that they are back, I order regularly for pickup.Food is always ready in less than 25 minutes, is packaged properly so that everything is still warm and delicious when I get home.Definitely worth your money.
