Been coming here awhile, nice place to shop for comics and has space to move around in. Owner is cool and knowledgeable about comics.Has manga, funko pops, kid selection and new release section.Next to Fried Chicken Korean place.McDonald, CVS, Fed Ex, USPS are close by too.Parking is not an issue.

Pretty nice place. Got the comics I wanted at a good price and other stuff. Worker was nice and felt welcomed. Drove from Gilroy since comic shops near me dont carry much Silver age comics or supplies I need. Definitely check this place out if youre around.

The guy on shift today was super helpful in helping my friend find what she needed. They didnt have my graphic novels in stock as it was popular and sold out quickly. I managed to find other graphic novels in the store. They have a wide selection, looking forward to returning in the future.

My BF and I came here looking for a Christmas gift for our daughter. My BF had a couple of books in mind that he wanted to get her since she really likes scarlet witch. There is a large selection of comics books, pops and childrens books. There was a sign posted that said purchase 2 get a 3rd for $1 over the trade paperbacks. Since the books ran $25-$40 we thought that was a great deal. It took my BF 45 minutes to decide which books to get. During that time I was trying to keep our toddler entertained. I took her to look at the childrens books and she wanted to purchase a Garfield book. I figured for $5 sure to keep her quiet. Then we purchased everything, the 3 trade paperbacks a pop and the childrens book. When we were walking out my boyfriend noticed that the owner charged us full price for the paperbacks. He said that all the books qualified for the sale so he gave us $4 off the childrens book instead of $24 from the paperbacks. We mentioned to him that the sale sign wasnt posted over the childrens books. And he said sorry, all sales final and pointed to a sign behind the counter. I was so upset I told him he wasnt being fair and trying to pull a fast one over customers. After some back and forth he said he would not give us our money back but he would let us have a 4th paperback worth $25. So we picked one out and left. It really makes no sense why he would give bad customer service to customers that clearly knew comics and would absolutely come back to purchase more. But hed rather cheat us out of $24, instead of having a returning customer that would spend $80-$100 every time they came in. I am giving him 2 stars because he did have a good selection and he did give us the $25 credit. So if you do decide to shop here read all the signs, ask questions about the prices and make sure he charges you correctly because he will not give you your money back.

Its a comic book store next to Bonchon. The inside is bigger than what youd expect from looking at the outside. However depending on what you want, this place is one of the worst places for pokemon cards as not only they have limited selections but they are way higher than other local stores.

**Update** Went back to the location and they had no difficulty swapping out my original purchase for something new with all the pieces. Whoever responded to my original review may be a little out of touch with the day to day operations (bc you absolutely buy/sell preowed/used games) but the people working there that I spoke to both occasions were friendly, knowledgeable, and able to get things straightened out easily. Excellent in-store service.*original review* 1 star not the place to go for games. I purchased 2 games recently as a gift for my niece & nephews birthday only to find they were missing pieces, game cards, and directions. One of them even had extra cards from Munchkin Zombie. All around disappointing.

They also have lot of current and back issues stocked up now!Let me start off by telling what I liked about this place, it has some real good collection of back issues and old comics!Now for the reason for my 2 star rating:1. Couldn’t find zero day comics on a Wednesday (11am). Apparently they don’t seem to have much of the mainstream stuff stocked2. The staff was absolutely unapproachable... I’ve been here twice and tried asking him questions on (new release) comics I was looking for, the best response I could get out of him was “sir, all the new comics are on the brown shelf in that corner”.3. Would prefer to talk on his mobile over talking to a customerHe didn’t even make an effort to ask me which comic or when he’s expecting to get them.. I’d consider that as poor customer service! This is the closest comic book store to my place but I would be avoiding it for my zero-day comic purchases! Would rather drive 10 miles to another comic book store..

Fantastic resource for comics, these guys also are super helpful if you have any card game or tabletop rpg questions. I personally love painting figures and while they dont specialize in them they have a nice selection of paints and tools, and the people who work there are extremely knowledgeable in all things game. A casual, calm place where everyone is nice and professional, this place is the best place for comics in Sunnyvale.

My kids loved this store they couldve spent hours in here browsing and exploring. Wish they had a comfy chair or 2 for the parents to sit and relax. I got grouchy standing here and there trying to get out of the way. Could use some sprucing up in terms of brighter lighting and cleaner display under glass& as is it gives it a bit of an attic treasure vibe.

One of the best places to find and trade Magic cards in South Bay at reasonable prices. Michael, who knows a ton about past and upcoming MTG expansions, does an outstanding job overall at patiently advising both non- players and new players, young and old. As for comic books, this place has a lot of back issues, especially previous issues from recent runs that are sometimes hard to find. A place definitely worth checking for serious collectors in South Bay.

I have been a customer at this comic shop for close to 27 years now. These guys have a great selection and know a ton about comics. During these tough times comic books are a welcome distraction and much needed. The customer service at this shop is fantastic! If you have a chance to give this hometown shop some business please do. Give them a call and set something up.. Both Danjer and Phil have been in the business for awhile they can answer you questions...

Nice place. Very nice staff. They have a wide variety of board games and comic books. They have tables where they do board game sessions, including a learn to play D and D session. Seems like there is a great community vibe here.

Pretty good place to go for Friday night magic. Very friendly staff. Crowd is not very competitive, so if youre a casual player youll fit right in. Prize support is fairly flat ( usually pack-per-win). Not a huge supply of singles.

I love this place. The staff are so nice! My brother and I guessed how many comics were in the store without a calculator and got a free comic each! They said they would give candy on Halloween to! Ill definitely come back. Their is also a really good fried chicken place next door.

A small store with a surprising amount of Warhammer merchandise. Although primarily a comic shop, this place is manages to hold a generous supply of Warhammer minis and paints. All of my interactions with the staff have been nice as well.

Comic book collector gem. This place has an incredible selection of keys from every age. Highly recommend a visit. Phil has an absolutely uncanny ability to recall comics and find the issues and titles you are looking for... and it helps that folks here are extremely nice. COVID rules are respected. Masks are on and sanitizer provided. I haven’t collected for a long time, so it was refreshing to come into this place for the first time and it felt familiar and welcoming. Thumbs up.

One of the last places for comics etc. They also have lots of cards for the Pokémon card game, some of the rarer ones too. They have days when kids and adults can go play. Check it out! The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

It has a little bit of everything, collectables, vintage and new comics, graphic novels, some board games and tabletop games, some RPG and card games, and space to play and socialize with others with similar tastes. I went with my girlfriend and it was a pretty nice experience, and they were open on a holiday, AWESOME! 👍

Im a new MTG player, and went there for my first prerelease event. I only played magic duels before, and had never played with human players. I was worried about how other players would treat me if I made stupid mistakes.Players there are very friendly. I did make a lot of stupid mistakes, such as forgetting increasing my own life, but my opponents pointed them out very nicely.Because I wasted a lot of time in the first round, my game ended as a timeout. Although my opponent was leading with 20-3, he still reported it as a draw.This place also has a lot of comic books, which is a plus to me.

A large comic shop that has quite a bit of inventory. The staff was terrible, I ended up not buying what I came there for because I will not support that business. The clerk never acknowledged any customers, just focused on his computer. I stepped between the display cases to look closer at a comic on the wall and that is when I got the clerks attention. He came over and said I need to be back up or he will start punching. Amazing only interaction with the staff was the threat of bodily harm. Do not let your kids visit here it is not safe.

Great card selection for fans of Magic the Gathering. Almost always updating whats in their front case and with a large selection of cards from other sets behind the counter. They host Friday Night Magic on Friday nights and usually have at least a few people jamming games of various formats.Of less interest to me personally they also have a large collection of comics and graphic novels both more recent and from over the history of the medium. The guys seem very knowledgeable and passionate about everything they sell and are always willing to answer any questions they can.The only real downside is unavoidable. Being next to Bon Chon fried chicken sometimes during peak hours for the restaurant the smell of the kitchen makes its way through the ajoining wall and can cause the shop to smell a bit musky. It doesnt happen often and isnt all that bad but I have heard non-regulars complain about it.

Players at this shop are not particularly open to strangers. It seems very much like you need to know a regular, if you’d like to join in a game- even during a scheduled open-play period.I didn’t want to be unsure, so I spoke up, “I’m here to play [game]”. Several people make eye contact, but I wasn’t able to get any games.* there were games to be had, groups forming up, but they’re just not interested in meeting a new player.When you walk in, there is a cloud of BO, first thing.

Have only been going to CCS since last November, but it wasnt long before Ive been made to feel like a regular there. The staff (the manager, Danjer; the owner, Phil, and the card guru Michael) has been friendly, helpful, and respectful. They greet 99% of the people who enter the store (they only do NOT greet the new patrons because theyre busy helping other customers at the time).Im very grateful to have found a store to play Magic: The Gathering that is not too competitive, but still challenging enough to keep you growing in the game.Check out CCS... youll be glad you did. :)

It was pretty good, I went to a prerelease. But they took my Arcades, the Strategist promo for only $20, when it was actually 56.99 (according to MTG Goldfish). They took my friends Hangarback Walker Masterpiece Foil for $45 when it is actually $70. Not the best place to sell, as channelfireball is a better place to sell.

The collection of comics is wide and cheap. There are a lot of good comics at Dollar one price rate. They also host a lot of activities such as board games, etc. I particularly liked the Star Wars collection.

I talked with a knowledgeable staff member about getting up-to-date on comic history. I had followed them in the 60s (Marvel and DC), but stopped when I went to college. He gave me a few pointers on web sites and YouTube channels and talked about it in general. I left with a bunch of books. Good time!

Comic Collector Shop is the place to go for all your comic and card/board game needs. I visit every so often for a new MTG expansion and the staff is always friendly, helpful, and sociable. I learn something new every time I go and I wouldn’t buy my MTG cards from anywhere else!
