A fantastic Chinese restaurant! Found them with a tip online about their amazing Korean Fried Chicken. YES they were correct it is a great dish, though it goes a bit away from traditional Korean Fried Chicken. It was SUPER crispy and great cuts of juicy chicken.Their noodle dish was also fantastic, I would gladly come back for both OR to try more from their expansive menu.

To be fair, from the outside it looks like its pretty dirty, old fashioned and a typical chinese restaurant. But.. Prices are reasonable and you get a lot for your bucks! With 2 dishes you can fill up 4 people at ease. And as a bonus its super delicious and full of flavour!

My my.TITLE: THE FALL OF A GREAT RESTAURANT...Well, there goes 1 of the best. Sent friends of mine visiting from Finland to the restaurant my international friends and family and Co workers have been going to for about 20 years now. The food was NOT great to them. But when they brought my order back. I understood why?1. The order was wrong 2 items out of 4.2. I personally spoke to the server on the phone. Her English was bed but she repeated my order back to me. So she was just repeating what I said. Seriously???3. My food has never in 20 years been that poorly prepared. It was awful, except 1 of the FLAVORS. I ordered beef it was chicken.4. I remember when there was an old Chinese lady who remembered everything from 4 years before. She quit but she was good.. good times. Not like this girl who literally cannot speak English and gave me the wrong orders...Thats just me venting not a number.Ok. Now4. 2 of the orders were 1/2 orders. They were not full orders but amaller portions. But charged full price. That really passes me off!5. When I called to speak to the manager, the lady answered, then said in really really bad English. No manager here! I asked if I could speak to someone who spoke a little better english.... SHE SAID: NO!THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!MY MY. HAS ALL OF SAN FRANCISCO JUST COMPLETELY FALLEN???THERE LITERALLY IS NO REASON TO GO BACK TO SAN FRAN FOR ME...THIS IS A SAD DAY. AND THIS RESTAURANT THE LAST THING I LIKED IN THAT KAKA CITY. GOOD BYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

Ive been coming here since I was a kid and they know me and my family quite well. Its nice to actually go to a place thats really good with familiar faces. The food is plentiful and delicious, cant get enough. They get to know who you are and remember your most ask dish through time. I definitely recommend this place. Its one of those hole in the wall places with amazing food.

I had the mixed vegetable (thick) chow mien, and it was below average. The staff wasnt rude but definitely wasnt polite either. The women at the cashier just seemed as if she didnt care about the customers. I wasnt greeted in the first place. And when I said I was looking for some vegetarian dishes, she simply threw a menu on the counter. And by threw, I meant threw. The chow mien was way too oily and tasteless. Not even worth the $7. Im not sure where all these good reviews came from.

Highly disappointed. I was so excited to try the Peking duck with coworkers after grinding out some heavy duty work. I told them about it and they agreed to all drive out Heung Yuen. When I checked the hours of operation online I read 1100 oclock open time. We got there at 1035...waited till 1055 when one of the employees opened up the door. We asked if we could possible put in our order a few minutes early. The employee then tells us they are opening at 12 noon. When we asked about their posted hours online with a 1100 open time the employee said covid and walked away. I couldnt believe the no care attitude. I work for a huge local employer and had my uniform on. They could have gained a few dozen customers over the weekend. I guess they do so well they dont care about getting new customers. I wouldnt even give them one star if I had the option.I couldnt believe it.

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to review this gem of a spot! I’ve been going here since the womb—literally! This place has beaten gentrification in the hood & it’s a blessing. Korean chicken is the complete best! It’s essential to place it in EVERY order lol Honey Walnut Prawns are bomb, beef w/ broccoli—BOMB. (Just to name a few)This is no fine dine in the slightest or cookie cutter. This is a neighborhood staple for those that know what’s up. Hands down the only Chinese food I get in the city aside from Henry’s Hunan.

Good food. Been a patron for years. Pork fried rice and fried wonton. Mongolian beef is good and spicy. My fam loves The salt baked prawns & mongolian chicken. The portions are a good size. If u doing a family night or got some friends over for gaming, this is a great choice.

We just moved to the neighborhood and love old style San Francisco chineese restaurants and this one is the real deal. It has an extensive menu the soup was great the chow mein was expected the Korean chicken was fried and the eggplant that we ate was right on. when you go into an old style Chinese restaurant there are fluorescent lights minimalistic Chinese decor but its all about the food the value and the flavors. It does bring me back to the long gone Hong Kong and the old Sam Wo.

Ordered via yelp/grubhub, then called to ask if rice was included with my order. the lady couldnt find my order, then insisted i ordered something i didnt, then hung up on me. then, when i went in, someone had keyed my order in wrong and they tried to argue with me when i showed them my email confirmation. they did give me some food, but im not quite sure what they gave me. weird. i got a full refund through grubhub.

You know my familys been going to this place for a long long time since the 70s well just recently I have went over there to pick up some sesame seed chicken with some rice the sesame seed chicken was missing the chicken and I cant believe that theyve done this to me twice they know who I am thats not that I walked in and Im a stranger so I will not be going there anymore the only time I get served very good and I dont put my sisters in my and half of my familys there so I will not be going there anymore by myself
