Heybings Dessert Cafe in Costa Mesa

Came here on Father’s Day after dinner so busier than usual. Ordered at the counter and staff was nice enough to let us know it will take a little extra time because of how busy they were at the moment (I appreciated the acknowledgment). We ordered a Strawberry and a Mango bingsu in the small size. We received a buzzer and waited for a table to open up. Surprisingly people were good about leaving after finishing to free up seats. We didn’t wait that long- maybe 10 or 15 minutes. The fruit was fresh and tasty and the bingsu was a nice, soft texture. 2 adults and 2 kids were able to share the 2 small cups we got- more than enough. After eating you return the dishes/tray to the open window towards the back of the restaurant.

This was my first time getting bingsoo and it was such a treat. I got black sesame and it was so good! My friend got the strawberry cheesecake which was also tasty. It’s also nice that you can get the regular size and share it with someone. Looking forward to coming back and trying the other flavors!

I might have just found my new go-to dessert spot!! Everything was delicious and the fruits were so fresh!! Definitely recommend trying the Mango Paradise and Strawberry Cheesecake bingsoo!! The bingsoo was so fluffy and light, and best of all, it wasnt too sweet! They also offer small sizes which are to-go friendly and the perfect serving size!Heybings bingsoo doesnt all use the same milk base. The matcha, chocolate, black sesame bingsoo have the flavors infused into the shaved ice itself (unlike other places which use flavor powdering)!!Food and Drinks featured:Mango Paradise (so fluffy and refreshing)Strawberry Cheesecake (has actual cheesecake bites!! This was a top favorite)Black Sesame Latte (was super creamy)Matcha Latte (try with oat milk!)Nutella Mochi Waffle (so crispy!)The staff and owners were so friendly and welcoming! The inside is super aesthetic and has a nice coffee shop vibe. Ill definitely be back to try their other bingsoo flavors and drinks!

I found this place is a great work and study place with WiFi and nice environment! You can stay here for whole day! The food and drink is also great! Especially the black sesame dessert and drinks! Perfect for Asian Chinese baby! I love it! When I ordering the food! Ashley helped me and explained a lot! I also recommend jujube milk! Will definitely come back!10/10

The best bingsoo I’ve had in California! 10/10! What makes this place stand out is that the shave ice they use isn’t just plain ice, it’s actually premixed with different flavors such as milk, matcha, black sesame, and chocolate. The texture of the ice is so creamy, literally melts in your mouth! All of the syrups and mochi are made in house, which is pretty amazing! You can tell the owners put a lot of love into their desserts. I also loved the ambiance of the place. It’s a nice place to hang out with your friends and chat, a great date spot, and also a good place to bring your laptop and get some work done.Also, it’s dog friendly! They serve a puppicino, which is essentially a cup of whipped cream, and dogs love it!What I ordered:-mango bingsoo (ahhhhhmazing! If you’re a mango lover like me, you NEED this in your life)-cheddar cheese mochi waffle (the best surprise ever ! I love a good sweet/savory mix and loved the mochi texture of the waffle!)-black sesame latte (creamy and milky, just the way I like it)-vanilla latte (my husband ordered this, and he really enjoyed it!)

The new store is open, the boss is very nice, and the desserts are delicious, especially the mango smoothie and waffles!The coffee in the store is very good, the boss has a set of processes from raw coffee beans to roasting, grinding and making.

The Bingsu here was SO GOOD!! The serving size was pretty big, leaving us pretty full and very happy. They were pretty expensive, with two coming out to 31.50, but it was really worth it!

Newly opened bingsoo store. The black sesame is a must try. The flavoring added is not only on top of the bowl but also in a layer in the middle. Variety of toppings are so good to your taste buds. Their Nutella mochi waffle is the best dessert I’ve ever had. Great combination with the latte. 10/10 highly recommend.

Outstanding! Such a good dessert stop! The texture of the ice cream bowls is so light and fluffy in a way Ive never experienced!
