Hibachi-San in Newark

Chicken teriyaki with chowmein is good. Fried rice is some time too old. One of two remaining food stalls left at the mall.

They refused to give me chow mein saying they were giving it all to my friend who ordered first, then proceeded to clear out the tray and throw away a good portion

Really nice bbq beef! The shrimp and sause were excellent too! Some things like the chow mein and rice do carry over from panda express... Their large cup doesnt fit in any cupholder i know of, not even the largest ones.. Service was decent with some communication errors and repeated my order multiple times.

I thought the food and value was excellent. Wish they were on Uber Eats cuz it’s a pain to get to them.

Waited for 15 minutes to get my food. After I told the guy behind the counter. I needed my money back. Cause I had to get to work cant wait No longer he told me to bad you dont get your money back Because I already paid

I have a feeling the rice and chomein come from Panda Express even the egg rolls (egg roll really tasted bad like if it was stored for days) and napkins are from Panda Express .... they probably buy takeout trays and sell more expensive...... the Shrimp and chicken and meat is really good... it just bothers me they use Panda Express for there rice and chomein.

Only 2 places open today. Hibachi San no longer sells the bowl offer rice/noodles with chicken. Prices have gone up $3+. Did not eat here.Have small appetite only.

I decided to try this place because I always see a long line and figured everyone must know something that I dont know. I ordered the shrimp, chicken, fried rice and veggies. Visually it looks delicious. When I tasted it, not so great. I wouldnt order this again.

We come hear once a week, Very good food, always a line of customers. Try the salmon and the chicken teriyaki. Some of the people are very nice.The portions are large.

Nice store in the mall. Huge portion. But make sure you ask them to cook fresh. :) it will taste awesome. But if you go on weekend then probably it’s gonna be fresh anyways
