Walked in and it was a bit warm in here. We were greeted by a kind gentleman. It was easy to find and lots of parking in the back of the building. We ordered two Thai teas which they’re amazing. Also ordered garlic noodles and popcorn chicken. The noodles were amazing and the popcorn as well. Make sure to get the sweet and sour. Thai teas are also yummy.

Purchased three taro tea with Boba- it was actually really good. You can taste and feel the texture of taro and the Boba was very fresh.Staff was okay, nothing special.Location is nice and clean. Not much to the atmosphere.I would come back again .

Been here a couple of times with my wife and not ever written a review.My 3rd time and had a decent experience.Due to the time of day it wasnt really busy so better for us. About 2:30pm in a Wednesday. I ordered their Pad si Yew lunch special with Golden Milk Tea, wife ordered their garlic noodles with chicken lunch special, and daughter ordered their Pad Thai lunch special with Thai iced tea.Everything was quite a treat for what they have to offer.Place was clean (with the exception of the mens restroom, which needed a deep cleanse) organized, and good customer service.Ive been to several Asian food restaurants and will say that Hiccups is more of a fusion style than authentic in flavors. Not quite sure Id come back however it was convenient and we were in the area. Id give um at least a 4 star for atmosphere if they would have taken better care of the restroom.

If I were to rate this place solely on the taste of their food, I would probably give them 5 stars. But Im not!!. I know that this place is not the most expensive place but its not cheap either. I cant help but to feel a little cheated when paying over $16 for noodles and a third of the plate is pineapples and peppers.

Fist time trying this hipster joint. I must say, im impressed! I really love the food they serve, the drinks! (I love the fact they do the half and half drinks, i think its my first time seeing those) and the ambience is pretty chill. I can see it as a nice place to hangout with friends and catch up. I really like it! I recommend trying it out!!!

I literally got delivery 4x from this restaurant and these idiots always screw up my order!!! Then when they get the order right, they forget to add chopsticks, napkins and the spoon for the broth. The manager here is clearly not able to handle customer service and quality. This will be my last time ordering your food. You guys always mess up my orders . As mention this is the 4th damn time and I can see there team clearly dont get paid enough to care especially when it delivery . 🙄 I even gone viral on Instagram and so many people say the damn same thing.

We had the lunch special: my wife & I ordered fried rice w beef, & garlic noodles w beef, + included drinks. Both dishes were tasty. The beef were tasty, & were also soft ( basically the same type of beef - added to each dish ). Each dish had so much beef that you get a piece(s) of meat per spoonful. We each ended up with leftovers. We will be returning to this restaurant. Well recommend this restaurant to friends. Overall: we had a happy experience.

The food was very good and the staff was friendly. The Saracha Fries were amazing. There were two issues we had. First, the appraiser came out after the food. Second, there was a 5 minute gap between when my meal came out and my friends food came out.

We ate here on 9/10 for lunch, and the service was NOT professional. The workers behind the counter forgot to send my order to the kitchen, so I was waiting without an entree while our entire party was already almost done with their meals. We had ordered cajun fries for appetizer, so I decided to put some in a napkin and snack until my dish arrived to the table. The young man and woman who were working behind the counter ran over to my table and said that I was eating very dirty, and that their establishment wont tolerate filthy tables (THEIR EXACT WORDS), and literally removed my napkin with fries from the table. They also did not apologize to me for bringing out my food incredibly late. Such a BIZARRE experience, and such a strange and rude staff. My friends and family will never be dining here again.

Always see the line out the door n always wondered why? Now I know!! Went on a weekday n it wasnt too bad. We ordered the sriracha fries, mongolian noodles n some pad thai with beef plate and oh my goodness every single order was sooo good. It is full of flavor, they are big portions and price isnt bad at all! Decor and atmosphere inside are great partnered with great music. Great and friendly service and the assistant manager was very courteous making sure we were enjoying our time there! Cant wait to be back!

Sadly I had a very unpleasant experience at this location. I was trying to have dinner with my wife at this restaurant but unfortunately they stop serving food 1 hour prior to closing time and only serve drinks . The Asian female workers told me so and I had to leave empty handed .

This my first time coming to this place and wont be the last. The food is good. They did asked me if I wanted my meat well done or not, which is a good thing. The place for snack and drinks in Carson, the portions are big and well worth the prices. Do try their popcorn chicken!My only thing is whenever I get Milk Tea delivered they always forget to include a boba straw. Cant really enjoy Boba lai cha with a regular straw.

The garlic noodles with shrimp is really good. I added extra veggies. The almond milk tea was decent; a little thicker in consistency than Im accustomed to. I wish they had popping boba. I would come back. Very tasty. It gets a bit crowded and noisy but its a nice spot.

Used to love this place until today. Came in the door at least a while15 seconds (that’s a long time when waiting in line and no one’s there but you) BEFORE a woman of a more fairer race than mine walked in. I was COMPLETELY IGNORED. The woman stood to the side of me to see the menu and the workers totally spoke past me to ask her if she was ready. The excuse given was that they were training and didn’t know any better yet. You cant train implicit racism. Only perpetuate it by creating excuses for it. Won’t be back.

Sighs...I love garlic noodles but these just didnt do it for me. Chunky cut onions and peppers, no flavor, steak was too undercooked. I dressed up the leftovers the following day and it was much better. For the price, dont think I will return. The Mango Chamoy drink was very delicious

Worst day eating at this resto. I ordered Pho and Pad see Eew for my wife. Pho came ahead with the Pad see Eew and im done with my Pho but my wifes order was not yet serve. One of the waiter come to our table to check if we still have order coz we still have our number on the table, he check the receipt and found out that we are still waiting for the Pad see Eew, he went to the kitchen and came back to us just to tell that the said item was now yet ready and told us to wait for a couple of minutes, it is almost 15 minutes and nothing is coming on our way and somebody approached us again and asking for apology and offering us drinks because of the inconvenient that this thing brought us. And they just told us if we want our order in To go instead of my wife eating in the store coz she is really hungry at that time. I told them that we will wait but still no Pad See Eew os coming so we just decided that instead of my wife eat in the store we just asked the waiter that our order is for To Go, then after a couple of minutes the order came out and just left the restaurant with our order. I will not come back on this Restaurant anymore, beside the slow service the Restaurant music or sounds is too loud and we cannot even talk in silence but we have to shout because the music is too loud.

Hiccups has good food! but i’m the other hand doesn’t have good servers. i once got up to get plates because they didn’t give me plates with my food and i had asked the waiters for them and never got them till about seven mins later. we finished our food and needed boxes i got up once again and asked for the boxes from the same waiter he was gone for ten minutes and i was standing there waiting for them he finally got them and sent them to my table and left me standing there. overall 5/10 due to poor service.

Its good. I like it.The filet mignon was overly cooked in the c soup. I didnt know they have it to you cooked already. I was hoping Id get it raw so I can cook it in the soup.I overheard someone ask for a refill, then I noticed they charged. So I asked for one thinking itd be a discounted drink since theyre calling it a refill. Well NOPE full price of the drink. So not a refill.Their bowls are huge so I think for the price of the pho its worth it.

Boba review only. For the price, it is mediocre at best. Got cookies and cream blended and there are large chunks of ice in there. Very low quality chocolate sugar syrup. Boba itself is okay, a bit too soft and not warm. Almost 8$, not worth it at all. Quickly Boba or Ding Tea nearby is much, much better.Service and parking is good though.

I honestly have never left a review from a restaurant but I felt like this was obligated.Just moved to the area and was walking back to my apartment. My buddy had given me some cash to grab some food and I placed a to go order for noodles and a milk tea. I had the cash for food, walked in to pay where the staff member informed upon arrival they do not accept cash at the time time. He had no alternative at the moment and I wasn’t never informed this over the phone. The staff member was really rude and short about it and was unable to offer another solution or grab a manager.I was really excited to try this place! Talk about great food and fantastic smoothies. This is a must try! They give you good size portions of food. Prices are very reasonable. Be careful not to go at noon as you will wait. Clean restaurant with a big menu of drinks and good food.This location is a very busy spot because its so delicious and due to the Churroholic and seafood restaurant across the way. Prepare to wait in a line or if youre going to eat in, be patient.Parking can be difficult especially during their busiest times. Theres limited parking in the back and some parking on the street. If youre in a rush, i recommend you call in your order for pick up.The staff is friendly but in a rush because theyre so busy, so we had a couple of errors in our order. Just plan to be patient, they are really nice.For those who like to take pictures, they have cute displays/decor for pics. Semi-rustic theme.If youve never eaten or had a drink here, check out their menu online before going in.

Employees at the Carson and South Gate locations are patient with customers that are unfamiliar with their menu. An email offer got me to try the popcorn chicken. The pieces were surprisingly thicker than imagined and not all dried out, nor overly greasy. I preferred them without sauce. The coating tasted like it used seasoning similar to Chinese five spice, like my moms egg rolls. We love the Pad Thai. Its full of flavors. We tried both the beef and the shrimp. Food so fresh off the stove that the to-go container is too hot to handle from the bottom. No worries of cold food by the time you get home. We only went to South Gate location once, and the food quality was consistent with the Carson location. __Though I question the Long Beach location. Spoke with another customer waiting for their order. Customer reported he drives farther to get to Carson as he thought it was the best location. He said he was disappointed all three times he ordered food from Long Beach.

The food here is very good for the price. The garlic steak noodles are my favorite and there is nothing better than following that up with some milk tea. Very nice decor inside and more outside seating would be great. Overall would definitely recommend. Be warned parking on busy days is quite the task. There is a small parking lot in the back and some metered street parking. However the shopping center to the left has a large parking lot. Not sure what the rules are about that however .

Use to be my fav spot to go to there was one in Gardena but it’s now closed officially. Went to this location once and saw a worker come from out the back door and sat on the curb in the back parking lot and was digging in his nose as he sat on one of the towels from the restaurant…This was disgusting. Food, drinks, and service here is always great. The only thing that sucks is the wait sometimes. At times this place gets incredibly full. Food can take a while when the place is packed full of people. Drinks on the other hand are usually pretty speedy regardless.Every dish Ive ordered here and not disappointed, great portions and great flavor.If you like Thai food, give this place a try.

I think they used some kind of artifical mango sweetener and it just wasnt the best. Not sure if the rest of their drinks would be better but would definitely go back for their food. 👍

This place was the best when they first started and probably up to a year 1/2 after. Then they took away 1/2 the menu away and the food got inconsistent. Sometimes great, sometimes alright. I tried it again a few weeks ago and it was horrible. Pad thai tasted really weird...not like pad thai at all & the orange chicken was chewy. Unfortunately I dont think Ill be going back. 😕

The food is good but a little pricey $$. The only thing I would like to see them change is, they should bring the food for everyone together because when you have your plate but youre other people at the table are waiting is rude to eat it an by the time they get there food your plate got cold. Man Im so disappointed with hiccups there took away there promo if you spend $25 or more you get a free drink. And on top of that they changed there packaging 📦 to take out boxes which looks way smaller then there black containers that used before that actually held more food. This little doggie boxes look like there lunch special. Wheres the customer loyalty and rewards? To spend $80 on Thai food and for the amount that they give you know it just not worth it I rather drive to a different Thai food spot or just go to P. F. Changs.

Many entrées here cost more than $10 but are usually justified by larger than average portions and great taste. An order of Pad Thai to-go can last me 2 meals.Most of their drinks hover around the $5 threshold, and their quality is better than some of the other places in Carson. If you wanted drinks without food, however, I would recommend a place like Ding Tea instead, since the drinks are of similar tastes yet cheaper.From the time they open, 11 am, to around 2 or 3 pm, they have a lunch special, bundling a limited entrée menu with a few select drinks. I find it to be a treat myself occasionally sort of deal. Havent tried every item, but the beef bulgogi is phenomenal.Overall, this is a place I would gladly come to more often if the prices were more in my budget.

My boyfriend and I love this place. In the evening it is a perfect romantic place. There are twinkling lights and music. Now as far as the drinks. Their boba Is amazing. Ive been to five or more boba shops and hiccups is by far the best Ive had. Ive tried 6 different drinks at hiccups so far; mango delight, strawberry mango, cookies and cream, coconut taro, chamoy mango, and horchata mocha. They were all delicious. I plan to continue going to hiccups. There service is great, and the cashiers are very nice and helpful. Ive never had a bad experience here so far. I would say the only thing bothering me about hiccups is that they charge for whip cream. Because I really like whipcream. And its kind of a bummer when its an extra charge.
