Went to the DMV which is located in Highland Square.
DMV WORST ONE IVE BEEN TO SO FAR! Training facility so theres always new hires there messing something up. I had to go back there 4 times because new hires kept making mistakes! I wish they would open up another DMV in Antioch or Brentwood or somewhere around because 2hr standing outside & another hr & half waiting to be called is ridiculously long! Who wants to lose 3 to 5 hours of their day waiting!
Went to DMV...took less than 25 mins!
Their food outlet store is closing soon.. That area is getting better and if you have to wait at DMV good place to do your shopping and get STARBUCKS.
This plaza has a good variety of shops ! Lots of parking spots and is clean !
I really only go to the liquor store Ive been going there for 10yrs now and there very personable and freindly. I also go to the sub shop there because of an bad experience I dont use the sub shop by walmaet. I use to go to food source but the closed there r g e one an only was closed down I miss this store?
DMV went fast had a nice gentleman that work there help find out where go and what to do.

I had to go there because that is where the D.M.V is located in the Highland Square shopping center in Pittsburgh, CA.Its alright I guess during the day, nights Id have my doubts about, kind of a shotty area, if you know what I mean.
Its okay. The big building is still vacant, where they used to be a Grocery store.
Great lady, was nice when doing work for them.
Viva Mexico was outstanding the spicy chicken dish lived up to its billing.

2023-06-28 03:03:31Strip mall. Terrible food at Panda Express. Always a homeless person or 2. Great UPS store. Horrible as are all Western Dental. Parking is always full, barely enough room to back up and exit.

2022-12-31 04:52:58Dropped in to the DMV for vehicle registration and title transfer. Then went to Cost u Less Insurance. I hired a broker to find me affordable coverage to meet my needs. Everything was complete within 2hrs!

2022-05-21 16:22:11Another Albert seeno Junior Sierra Pacific Properties hot mess.When we moved here 30 years ago this was a vibrant shopping center with a full-service grocery & drug store. However since then it has lost its grocery store that contained a Wells Fargo Bank.The dry cleaners was forced out of business due to the pandemic and high rent. the owners of the property; Sierra Pacific remodeled it to look like other shopping centers that were built in Brentwood. with fake brick towers, that contain nothing more than a single structural support beam. The worst of which was the an overly elaborate handicap access ramp at one end of the Plaza which forced a restaurant out of business due to the difficulty seeing the front of the restaurant let alone maneuvering around the ramp to enter. I realize this was required by Americans with Disabilities. it was also used to get rid of a tenant that had been serving the community for over 30 years. The shopping center has no grocery store. The best you can do is a liquor store and questionable quality Round Table Pizza. Yes there is a DMV, but you will be waiting for hours in line outside. Since the city of Pittsburgh has decided to allow the construction of hundreds of homes along Buchanan Road, on land that is contaminated from oil and other hazardous substances that were left over when the oil storage and transfer Facility closed. The ground was deemed unfit for any use until suddenly, enough money was found in the housing market. it was said that it could not be built on for decades.It is the only Shopping Center that it is in close proximity to all of the new homes that are built and will be built in the coming year. Including those that are directly across from it.I do not see how an empty shopping center with no Grocery or Drug store is a service to the community.This is only going to increase the traffic on Buchanan Road and surrounding streets. As people attempt to get to other shopping centers in surrounding areas.

2021-07-17 05:23:53Since Covid hit, the main grocery store (Foods Co.) Closed down in this location so its mainly a huge parking lot. Most people just come here for the pizza spot or Starbucks or the quick liquor store run. But very dead & empty in this location unfortunately with no shade lol.

2019-02-16 18:29:55Its a nice selection of stores that round up nicely especially Viva Mexico and Starbucks the grocery store is good too not as ghetto as the Walmart center up ahead...yeesh there are drug dealers, cigarette smokers, thieves and homeless people everywhere. The people around there are weird looking too but other than that the store is good and so is the others around that area.
