Our family has stayed here before, but the room that we stayed in was a bit run down and dated. If possible people should request the rooms facing the pool and ocean. Those rooms are lovely. The one we stayed in faced the parking lot and didnt have an AMAZING view.
Positive: Staff very nice and willing to help. Negative: The room had a bad small like mold or wet carpet. I HAD A BAD NIGHT. Trying to sleep with the order. The next two nights I was able to get some spray from front desk spray all the carpet. It did help some.
Great location. Nice clean room but parts of the hotel obviously need updating. If particular about freeway noise, the hotel is right beside 101. The noise was not bothersome to me but may be an issue for others. Rooms are not well noise insulated. Often, I can hear people conversing in the adjacent room.In general, the front desk staff members look too serious and bored especially one particular lady in the evening. She acts like the owner of the hotel but not in a nice way. Only one evening front desk staff, William, was friendly and felt authentically helpful.Hotel is a 5-minute drive to beautiful Pismo Beach pier.
This hotel really isnt very old but is outdated. The rooms do get a little musty smell. Staff dont really greet you or smile. But last night was probably my worst experience and had to have gotten the worst room in the hotel. AC barely worked. This room smelled more moldy than musty and i had a wonderful view of their storage area for 300 bucks. Only to be woken by employees getting into the storage area that my bed was right next to and omg 30. I dont think i will be staying here again and i have stayed here several times. I woke up with a headache and my 10 yr old was all stuffed up.
Nakalia was absolutely fabulous! Going above and beyond during the later part of breakfast hours to ensure my children had everything they needed! Thank you for making this trip a little bit easier! Another great trip!!!
Beds are awful, I wasnt able to move much after being on it for a couple hours. I know how Hilton beds are supposed to feel, I know how Sheraton feels, I can go on and on about different hotels beds.The beds are a disgrace to the Hilton reputation, they make people immobile.The breakfast wasnt bad, wasnt great. The sausage and the eggs were the best part of the breakfast. The potatoes were tasteless unless you also ate some of the onions or peppers they provided in a mouthful as well.The customer service was great.
Called the front desk, booked 2 rooms and paid with a card. They told me I got 2 complimentary bottles of wine with the booking but when I got there, they claimed I booked with a 3rd party site and used a digital card and refused to give the wine. Since it was a surprise to get the wine in the first place, it wasnt a big deal but being called a liar was. Rooms were great besides that.
What a let down. We were ‘upgraded’ to a room with patio. The room was anything but upgrade.The air conditioning would not work, there were bugs in the lobby, room etc.breakfast was another story. They did not have the usual breakfast buffet. You were asked to order from a small menu of choices. Only one type of coffee for the breakfast. And I felt that was too dark and cold. Fresh pot of coffee took good 15-20 minutes. I understand that they had limited staffing due to holidays, but this was not the experience I was expecting.40 minutes before end of breakfast time, they had run out of ingredients and had to turn away guests!
The WiFi is awful in my room. I have commented to the staff several times. The room is big with all facilities necessary, but it is old-fashioned.
Nice location, friendly front staff, but the bar did not stay open for us after our convention. Was able to buy a beer from the front desk, but only till 11pm then they stop selling. Had an issue with the manager about the room that was dismissed.Breakfast was not organized well. Fire alarm went off from toaster.
I’d like to start by saying THANK YOU so very much to all of the staff at this fabulous hotel! I travel often and some months spend more time at this hotel than my own home. For over 2 years I have been treated as if I were a member of the Hilton family. Being on the road can be lonely and definitely make one miss the comfort of their own bed. Along with always feeling welcome, I more importantly always feel safe during my stays. It’s also worth mentioning they offer one of the best breakfast in town! From the manager, to the front desk, to the maid staff and everyone else who keeps this fine hotel running, this location is run at a level that deserves 10 stars. I can not thank them enough. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing thru the Pismo area. Thanks again guys!
The hotel itself is very nice. Rooms are large, some with patios. The bar and dining room are very nice. There is spaciousness all around. When we registered, we saw the sign staying they are under new management. Oh, oh. Why would a Hilton property have a sign like that? We were provided with a free breakfast. It was controlled. They made our omelets, they handed us the bread to toast. There was a fresh fruit bowl to select from. We would not eat breakfast there twice under these conditions. They said it was the managements decision. I can see how this style would be overwhelming if several guests showed up at the same time.
Positive: The location of the hotel was great. Negative: We did NOT have a good experience staying at this location. Our view was the garbage cans/back alley from the kitchen, the bathroom not cleaned/shower head sprayed water all over the floor. We were racial profiled & I haven not heard back from Corporate.
The breakfast was terrible, since theyd run out of nearly everything, including eggs with an hour left before the end. The room was very comfortable and clean. Very convenient to US 101, with on/off ramps very close by. This on one of the main drags in Pismo Beach. The staff is very fast, friendly and helpful! Its just up the road from the beach.
Positive: The rooms are clean and easy check in. Best place to stay in Pismo beach. Negative: The hotel did not have free parking. They charged $12.
I was disappointed with our stay.The room was ok, but it was pretty noisy from neighboring rooms and we heard kids running around and stomping all the time. While taking a shower, the couple times the water pressure went down to almost zero to a point that no water was coming out, although it was for a short period of time.The front desk lady was not able to find my reservation and I had to provide all kind of info (reservation number, Hilton Honors account number, etc.) before she could proceed. All of this after I already checked in on Hilton mobile application a few hours before our arrival. She was pretty rude too. She told me (in not a very pleasant way) that digital key wont work and I wont get any Hilton Honors points for my stay (she couldnt explain why). They charge non-members $12 for parking despite $10 advertised on Expedia, and they kept charging me for parking after we checked out. When I called to ask why and request a refund, the representative was even more rude that the front desk lady and told me that they will revert the charge but will charge $12 for parking even though I am a Hilton Honors member.We wont stay at this property again.
The metal spring mattress at the Garden Inn was ridiculously firm in the worst possible way. Waking up with back pain isn’t a great way to start a vacation weekend, hotel needs to swap these out. Staff were super friendly here. Be warned there’s a $10/night charge for parking which feels like a money grab considering there’s an abundance of parking and no real benefit to you as a guest. We had room 201 at the end of the hallway which has a funky configuration where the bathroom door swings into and hits the nightstand. Mattress and parking aside, the hotel is close enough to SLO that you can drive back and forth quickly.
The location is excellent - convenient to the freeway, gas, shops, and restaurants. Just a short drive to the beach and into San Luis Obispo. The room was spacious and clean, but would benefit from more soundproofing. We heard our neighbors to either side and on the floor above us very clearly, late into the night, and Im sure they heard us, too.
Rooms are not clean with a strong mildew smell. We all woke up with coughing and sneezing all night. Rooms are outdated. Parking not included. This is at best 2 star hotel. The staff are friendly but doesnt make up for the quality of the room.
Spacious Clean Rooms & a FANTASTIC location. Pismo Beach is fun to begin with. This hotel has an ocean view, good breakfast offering and the bar is open in the evenings!
My husband an I went to stay in this hotel for 2 nights on Labor Day weekend. The hotel location was perfect, the room was big and very clean. The breakfast was also decent. The staff was friendly, specially Missy on the front desk, who was very accommodating and friendly with us. Would recommend and will be definitely coming back again!
The hotel cleanliness was very disappointing. My cousin and I felt very uncomfortable that made the stay unpleasant. The bathroom especially was quite dirty. I am not sure if it was just this particular room we got, but it was definitely not a thoroughly inspected room. The walls had so many stains, shower curtain was moldy at the bottom, toilet was not cleaned well, the remote had residue that was more apparent before I wiped it down, and there was a small stain on the bedding. It was such a revolting experience that we decided to leave the hotel for the night we booked it for. The gentleman at front desk didn’t even apologize for our concerns and instead mentioned to us we would still get charged and would have someone inspect the room since we were leaving. Understandable that the hotel was booked that night, but at the very least could have apologized. Location wise is pretty decent if you are trying to be around Pismo Beach/San Luis Obispo, but not worth the investment for the service and rooms.
What an amazing hotel- Situated on a hill (like everything in this town) the views were astounding, the atmosphere was epic. Would be an AMAZING place for a romantic getaway or a very memorable stay with a family. Wish Id stayed there more than 1 night. Loved it!
It was a perfect place to spend the night. We washed our wet close at night and they were ready to wear the next day to go to the Beach. It was quiet at night, the the beds were so comfortable and clean. The blow-dryer, the iron, coffee pot, everything worked inside the room. The rug was clean. Our experience there was excellent. The staff was friendly. I give them a five-star.

Positive: Reasonable price compared to the hotels along the coast.there is a nice grocery store and fast car chargers nearby Negative: Many of the rooms on supposedly 2nd and 3rd floors are actually either at ground level where people walk along your windows or at parking lot level where people can see into the rooms on their way to or from their cars.
Two stars for the staff that were respectful. Says a lot about the rest of them. Food was sub par and overpriced. We had to change rooms because of a musty mold smell. Why keep staff on that consistently have trouble with guests?
My family and I stayed here for 2 nights for my sister’s graduation at Cal Poly. The rooms were big and the beds were comfortable, though the sinks had low water pressure/flow, so it took a while to wash the soap off my hands. The hotel breakfast was decent and the staff was very friendly. Would recommend!
Positive: It was one of the only reasonably-priced and available hotel we could find that night Negative: They tried to charge us $10 to park our car although they provide absolutely no parking surveillance and it clearly says something like park at your own risk! Now that is sheer extortion! I managed to get thus fee waived (hooefully!)
I was calling to see if they offered monthly rates since my family and I were affected from the storm and the front desk staff were super rude. The guy that first answered, his name is Dylan, I believe, I called on 2/21/23 around 4:35PM, he put me on hold and hung up on me. I called back thinking we were accidentally disconnected and I can hear in the background another staff named Amanda saying just to hang up on me. So unprofessional. I will tell my family to never use this hotel when they come visit.
This Hotel was in a good location. Our room had a small back patio that led to the parking lot and pool. The room was very nice for a family of 5. It had 2 queen beds and a separate room with a bed and an extra restroom. We had a few issues that were resolved very quickly and efficiently by the awesome GM Mark. He was extremely professional and went above and beyond. My kids were more excited to swim in the heated pool rather then the cold ocean, so Mark kept the pool open a little later so the could enjoy the pool. I definitely recommend this place.
With this being our first vacation in two summers, our family of four thought it would be OK to splurge a little and chose this hotel. Be warned that the rooms with garden patio dont come with a view of the ocean despite what may be written on the website. You might be better off with the pool view. We needed two additional bath towels because room only had two. however, instead of getting the fluffy towels like the ones in the room, we got pool towels which were ok, but not like the two others in the room. Finally the towel holder was on the floor, not on the wall. That said, this was an excellent facility.
Nice hotel with a great environment. Nice to have some washing machines and dryers. The front desk was kind to postpone our checkout time.
This hotel is really nice. Everything is so clean, thank you to all the housekeeping ladies. And the bed is comfortable. The rooms are spacious. And my favorite part is that dogs are allowed, and there is a pet relieving area. Definitely recommend this place.
Diana and Stephanie exceeded my expectations! Excellent customer service they went above and beyond for my daughters 14th birthday. They decorated our room at no charge. My daughter was blown away by the surprise as she walked into the room. It made our trip so much more memorable. I had a great poolside view. Room was very clean. Great and safe location. Staff are kind and helpful. Must stay here when in Pismo. Thank you for everything. I appreciate all you did.
We stayed for 3 nights on new year eve in this hotel and had terrible experience. We booked two rooms. Both the rooms had bad smell and bed sheets had white hair and food crumps so we asked them to change the rooms. We used coffeemaker for 2 days and realized the last day that it was extremely dirty inside the water compartment. I felt like vomiting. I called front desk and manager said that if you felt sick (because of coffeemaker) you should go to hospital. Extremely rude behavior and non caring attitude especially when we are having high number of covid cases. I would not recommend anybody to stay in this hotel.
I had to stay at this hotel due to a business emergency.My agency booked the hotel with my HH membership.In my HH profile its clearly stated that I like to be on higher floors.Sure enough here they gave me a room on the lowest floor possible.The receptionist made a HUGE production of moving me to a higher floor.During my one night stay (even though you can not open the windows) I was eaten live by bed bugs/mosquitoes. My upper body is still covered with welts and oozy bites.During my stressful night I lost/misplaced my CC.I called the hotel several times to see if I left my CC in the room, but for 2 days I did not get a straight answer, only the runaround. Finally I cancelled the card.I asked for the manager to call me back, but Mark has never returned my call
The rooms were nice and spacious. There was hair in the sink. The laundry room was out of service. The bed was uncomfortable. I had to pay for parking and breakfast. EVEN THOUGH BREAKFAST WAS OFFERRED ON THE APP. the staff wasnt very welcoming or that friendly. The Ice machine was out of Ice. I was very disappointed in this location. And I barely got a late check out. Coming in so late. I dont recommend this location. Sorry.

I would say 2.5. First room I checked into was a very moldy and musky smelling room I could barely breathe. They moved me into another room which was slightly better. It is a 3 star hotel which shows. Very aged, poorly ventilated rooms. I didn’t even feel like showering there. Wouldn’t stay again. The staff was nice thought, no water for Hilton gold members or acknowledgement as is standard procedure
No USB connectors! Very inconvenient. Also charge $10 for parking. Given its location, could have made it free. With 4 people staying, gave only 3 sets of towel and 1 bottle of shampoo. Room was clean. Kids had a great time in the pool.
The location has convenient access to Interstate Highway 101, and downtown Pismos local restaurants leading to the beach. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The diamond gem goes to Lucas. He is very attentive in serving the need of the guests eating breakfast, making the start of day for each guest a very pleasant one.
Hotel was fine, it was clean. It is starting to show its age, tub faucet leaked considerably when on for the shower. Bed was fine, but I could feel the hardness, maybe time for new mattress.Breakfast not being offered at this time due to COVID, but was advised there was food for purchase.
Hotel is very well kept up, right off the 101, and the 2 bedroom suite was clean and nice for our larger family of 6. No sofa bed though, just sitting chair with 1 King, and 2 Queen beds. There is a 0.5 bath in the king room, which was nice to have an extra toilet and sink space for getting ready. Main bathroom has sink and mirror outside toilet and shower area which also was nice in the morning getting everyone ready. Great view of sunset from our room on the west side of the Hotel. Pool was closed due to Covid. Pictures are after our stay so the beds arent made up and room is a bit messy.
Rooms are nice and reasonably priced. The location is nice, close to the beach and downtown SLO. Unfortunately, the internet is embarrassing by 2022 standards. Less than 5mbps... If you need high speed internet do not stay here, if you can go without it is a nice stay. Upgrade your internet and this will be where I stay every time Im in town. For the moment Ill be looking elsewhere for my next stay
A really wonderful and welcoming property, in a central location to all the recreation we were looking to enjoy. The hotel staff were warm and friendly, and the room was super clean. The mattress and pillows were fantastic, it was the best nights stay on our trip!
Hotel was nice and clean, a little dated but that is no big deal. The staff were friendly. I loved the patio off my 1st floor room. Bed was nice and comfy. What I didn’t like was the heat is the room didn’t heat, just blew air and ran constantly. Maybe they dont have heat in this part of CA since its a temperate climate. I wanted warm water to wash my face but could not get warm water out of either sink. I had to use the tub if I wanted warm water, which made me think that the sinks were set to only run cold water. That is my hypothesis based on my remodeling/construction experience. I used the fitness area and the machines I used were in disrepair. There were two treadmills, one was being used and when I got on the other one, the buttons were damaged and while the tread would move, I could not increase the speed. I then went over to use the elliptical and several of the buttons were damaged on it. I would stay with them again.
Decided to go elsewhere when they raised the price after making a reservation over the phone with Diana. Bait and switch. Quote one price and overcharge at check-in.Responding to manger: your company reviewed before I posted this. They decided in your favor. This is fraudulent behavior.
Replace all of the Hilton signage with Motel 6! Youd never know the difference! Go for a ride on Pismo Beach for $5. Youll have a better time
Great location, modern, clean, comfortable rooms. Really happy with this property. Even though it is near the freeway you cant hear it, and the odd number rooms have the best view.
Great place to stay. Large rooms, separate sink in water closet/shower. Theres also two Keurig coffee makers near front desk, so coffee always available (a big perk for this coffee lover!)
Had to stop here as an emergency when my kid got sick on a road trip. The family room was really nice and clean. There were some spots that have been cleaned so many times that the paint was rubbed away but I can deal with that. Room was quite and grounds were very pleasant. Felt safe and welcoming.My only complaint was the bed. Since I didnt do the checking in I had no idea that the firmness of the bed was adjustable. I slept in a soft quicksand of a bed all night. I guess my fault for not reading the guest handbook. Pillows were not pleasant either. However, the bed has a shearling topper on it. Even though I had the A/C on, the part of my body touching the bed was in a pool of sweat. Not great, the whole family was to hot or cold the whole night.Not a deal breaker for me. For the price of a family suite and the view and close proximity to the beach, I would stay again. I would just be prepared for those slight annoyances.Overall, a great little hotel, clean, safe, good views and little terraces facing the pool.
Just stayed here from Monday to Wednesday. The staff was great and very helpful. The facilities was clean as well. Our only complaint was the bed it was uncomfortable for me to sleep both nights. We got some extra pillows to compensate for it.
Had a pleasant stay. Had a two room suite which was comfortable. Was happy to have laundry on site because of the length of my travels. My teenagers enjoyed the snacks/drinks in the market area and the pool.
House keeping needs improvements. Phone was broken-need to use my own cell phone to dial the hotel reservation in order to ask for toiletries. Mini fridge was not cold enough resulting spoiling our food. Noisy. We were misinformed about free breakfast. Then to find out “you are not eligible for free breakfast bc only Diamond Membership are.” Why was parking fee charged ! Not worth the price paid for each night. We could have stayed at a better hotel. There were rooms that were taped a sealed sticker. Our room was not one of those leading us to wonder if our room was Covid sanitized and when was this room last cleaned !

My room smelled like a dog. We had housekeeping come in, vacuum and spray and it still smelled. My husband is very allergic to dogs and we could not rid the room of the odor. Additionally there was blood on the toilet, the furniture had stains and the bedroom remote had food on it. As far as cleanliness and sanitation I was very disappointed.
Staff was super friendly. Beds not the most comfortavke, but the adjustable feature was nice. Room. Was super clean, walkout to the patio was nice as well. Hotel is built into the hillside so the layout is different, but neat. We had very noisy people above us all day and night, front desk took care of it immediately.
Underwhelming experience at this hotel. The rooms were spacious but dark and empty without proper furniture. The wall paintings are cheap and oddly placed throughout. There is no cookies or fruits at the reception. The only coffee machine in the hallway was broken the whole time during our stay. There is no complimentary water bottles provided in the room either. The mini store has very limited choices. We couldnt we booked two rooms adjacent to each other. Both rooms were spacious but neither one has a table where we can sit around, so we have to move the study desk out situated next to our bed so we can sit on our beds to play board games. Overall, the place leaves me an unwelcoming feeling.
Was there 10-21 thru 24. At check in,, we were told no breakfast due to COVID (not a problem in San Diego). Was assigned room 237. The 2nd floor hall smelled like mold, oddly room 229 was blocked open and dark for the first two nights. Not sure what happened in there or if that was the source of the hallway smell. Heavy cleaning occurred sometime Saturday as the smell was gone that night.The room was clean, good sized and well lit, although one of the smaller on the hotel diagram, thankfully it did not face the wall.The bed was in need of replacement as it felt like all things rolled to the center.The shower was good, bathroom was spacious. The tap water smelled and tasted like it came out of an old water tank - very stagnant, algae after taste. I couldnt drink it. Thankfully a hike to the front desk is rewarded w two bottles of water.Fitness room and laundry were open, clean, and functional.For $290 a night, I was very under-whelmed. I will be booking elsewhere earlier fir the next SLO family weekend.
Just stayed here one night and we’re quite under-whelmed with the “average-ness” of the accommodations. Interior lobby? Pleasant, but not memorable. Front desk attendant? Distracted and ambivalent “all your questions will be answered in this sheet of paper”. Sleeping room? Large-ish, but nothing to write home about. TV? Only medium size, and with no guide - so you have to thumb through the channels one by one. Ugh! Breakfast? No. Even during Pandemic, many hotels at least TRY to offer a breakfast, and many succeed quite well!). We paid a boatload of money for the room. Sad. Definitely not worth it. Recommend stay elsewhere, where you pay an average price for such as average room!
Went during the labor day weekend so perhaps the prices were artificially high. Paid $300/night. can get a suite for that price in the conrad in bangkok. a deluxe room in tokyo hilton or a room with an ocean view in hawaii. In san luis it got me a room with a lumpy bed, doors slamming all night, dust all over on ledges and an AC which was awesome when it worked one night out of 3.
Loved our stay. The room smelled clean and not like chemicals which weve had at other hotels. The black out curtains are perfect for a midday nap to recharge my batteries for some more exploring of the beautiful Pismo Beach! Chromecast was very easy to connect for some night time movies!
If you stay here, note the king bed rooms are much smaller than the double queen rooms. The pool was heated, there is not hot tub here. Internet was provided but is very slow. Location was nice, 3ight off freeway and only a short drive to the pier. Dining options are very limited in the area.
Great property. Ample parking. Friendly staff. Room layout is great and spacious. Just wished the bed was more comfortable. It wasnt a spring mattress but a controllable style mattress that did not quite work as wanted. Was too tired of playing Goldilocks. Couldnt find the right setting. It was either too soft or too hard, it wasnt just right. Maybe others can appreciate this type of bed, but maybe it was just me.Some rooms had a patio. Again, would be 5 stars if bee was to my liking. Might be a 5 stars for you though.
Stayed for a night on a work trip. Nice hotel. Breakfast (paid) was good. It was my bosss birthday and he casually mentioned it to the lady attending us during their small talk and she brought out, I think, a flan or shortcake with a nice candle.It was a nice gesture. Thank you nice lady.
The hotel was having towel shortage so we had to use hand towels to dry off. We had to use our own beach towels to take a bath. I saw another guest pleading for bath towels and he was given one bath towel to share with 5 of his family members. Breakfast was very mediocre- one yogurt, a small dry bagel, a packet of oatmeal. As a Gold Hilton Honors member, it was the worst Hilton Ive ever stayed at.There is no shower inside the master bed room so had to wait and share with the kids. I paid extra for a family suite for our last summer family get away, but this accommodation was a big disappointment.
My family and I reserved a two night stay at this hotel. So excited to enjoy a vacation together since we never really get to see each other, now that we are spread all over the US and have to be adults. We requested that our patio rooms be next to each other, it was no problem at all. Once we got here they gave us rooms on two separate floors, once I said something Eric stated maybe he could try and get us closer. We ended up still being 5 rooms apart which was a HUGE inconvenience. They made it seem like they were unable to make our request work. Seeming as it was a Friday night, we let it go thinking maybe they had their rooms full. When we drive around the back the parking lot was COMPLETELY empty, and throughout the night we didn’t see anyone in the rooms between us. We didn’t see a single costumer in the hotel until Saturday night. We arrived around 3 PM Friday and somehow there was no way we could get a room next to each other. Eric wasn’t helpful at all. When we got in our rooms they were very nice and spacious, with great coffee, but I noticed it was quite dirty. Stains on both the beds, dirty counter tops, and the bathtub still had water in it. I was not pleased at all, for the amount of money we paid I believe this hotel needs to step up their game. Charging $2 for a water seems quite ridiculous when you’re giving them your service. Sad to say this was quite disappointing. I will definitely not be staying at another Hilton garden inn until I am pleased!!
This is a strong three star property at the Central Coast. Clean, convient access off of Hwy 101.Quick check in and nice staff. Rooms were nice size clean and bed was decent. No food service currently but the pool was open.
Terrible experience.No housekeeping for 4 days.I have to walk down the stairs to get fresh towels, every day.The front desk gentleman was rude and invasive when I try to get myself a coffee.I wont be staying there again.
This was our 4th time staying at this location and are very pleased to say that nothing has changed even after it being a few years since our last time here. We stayed in room 332 and enjoyed the close proximity to the breakfast area. It was nice being able to get breakfast ($12 per adult) and carry it back to the room with the help of the friendly staff working that day. The only complaint about the room would be that the pull out sofa bed was extremely loud when someone was sleeping on it and moved at all, and according to them it was very lumpy. Overall a great stay as usual!
Hilton Garden Inn Pismo Beach is minutes off US 101 and conveniently located within 5min of the beach, downtown and a choice of restaurants.Comfortable spacious rooms with fast free Wi-Fi, pool, fitness room and business center. Courteous and helpful staff ensure your stay is relaxed and unencumbered.HBO not offered and there is parking fee. But I do have peeve about the bathroom light. The switch was located near the door hinges...one has to enter and reach across the door. The switches were oriented sideways and not up-down as one expects. In the night one fumbles to turn the lights on and not a pleasant experience.
Hotel is a great location and staff is excellent. The only issue we had as well as other guests is when we went for breakfast we needed to pay and have a voucher. This wasn’t mentioned when checking in.
I would categorize our stay as being equal to Motel 6. Front desk was not helpful when I voiced a concern about LOUD noises from room above ours or children running up and down the hallway. There was a charge for parking - I dont know many people to come to a hotel via public transportation. There is a $6.00 charge DAILY to park in the Hilton parking lot. I DO NOT recommend staying at Hilton Garden Inn. The price I paid for this hotel does not match the experience we had.
We stayed here for two nights while visiting some family for Christmas. The first lady we talked to was pretty unpleasant and she said it was her last day there, so I guess theres not really much to do about that. The rooms were nice and clean and fairly spacious, but the bed was rock hard. They advertise for some adjustable bed but I didnt see anything like that in our room so maybe its in some rooms only. For as much as the room was I was hoping there would at least be a hot tub with it. A complimentary breakfast was also not included. It was felt a little underwhelming for how much it was. It wasnt terrible but I probably wont go back.
It was nice. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and well located. Our room included a microwave and mini fridge which came in handy, and they also have a well stocked convenience/snack area complete with drinks. Rooms didnt have any glassware/dinnerware, but their kitchen is happy to provide them on request. No ATM on site, so be sure to stop prior if you need cash for tips.
Nice and quiet up on the 4th floor and rooms are very big. Disappointed though that they dont have breakfast on Tuesdays and Wednesday mornings but at least they let me take one of the boxed breakfasts and some cereal and milk with me to my room and that worked out ok. Also did not have any fresh brewed coffee in the lobby. You have to make your own. Not the hotels fault cuz no one wants to work anymore and they cant find anyone to run breakfast buffet. If youre looking for a good dinner I suggest going over to the Japanese restaurant called Yanagi. You can walk to it from the hotel, its only a few minutes away. The salmon teriyaki is excellent and a good deal at $19.99. Beach access is within a 5-minute drive.
The hotel is nice and clean with friendly staff, but the beds are terrible. They are some sort of old school adjustable firmness mattress. I couldnt tell that they worked at all. My mattress was set to almost the highest firm seeing, but by the middle of the night I was sleeping in a 3-4 inch slump. Even before it saved it was very uncomfortable. I expect a lot better for $200/night.
I was shocked that you spend 113/night on a room and they dont offer you a complimentary anything. Also say they didnt have a hot tub. The bed was really stiff but apparently somewhere you can adjust it. The front desk staff was not nice and the restaurant stay was really nice. It was clean but not with the price imo. Ill definitely go to the Best Western there next time I visit family
The service is always great, most of the staff is very accommodating. The management does a great job of running the hotel in a professional manner. I will definitely return!
Watch out for hidden charges galore.I have stayed in 30 or 40 different Hiltons.This one was a complete let down and ruined our trip to Pismo Beach.The air conditioning didnt work couldnt sleep because it was so hot in the room.they charged us $30 for the breakfast that is usually complementary anywhere else charged us $6 for parking charged us $8 for two bottles of water that were in the room.The fine print is everywhere but Im not used to this from my favorite brand Hilton.We let Stephanie the front desk clerk know about all these issues and more and she didnt care at all didnt apologize didnt offer us anything. Drove 3 hours to Pismo Beach to ride quad runners got no sleep and didnt even get to.And Stephanie the front desk clerk could care less.I would avoid this hotel at all costs and stay anywhere else in the area.they had a chance to try and make it right and didnt care whatsoever so in my opinion this is a complete tourist trap.the hotel is old outdated air conditioning doesnt work the laundry room after you wash clothes is about 150 degrees.I highly recommend you never stay here.
The room was nice- spacious, clean, quiet. They have free coffee in the morning. My son worked out in the gym. He used the free weights and was happy with the workout. The staff were very gracious!!
This is an excellent place to stay on the central California coast by San Luis Obispo. The staff are very helpful and make the guests feel welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the wifi is good. Due to COVID, the breakfast is less than desirable, but hopefully they will get their great omelette maker back soon! A very nice place to stay.
Excellent location! In a great neighborhood very close to Pismo Beach, lots of shops and restaurants. The staff here is extremely friendly and very hospitable. My room was spotless, had a nice layout, lots of space and a great view. I would definitely stay here again!
Hotel was nice enough, but the staff was just miserable. Breakfast was a complete joke. Called for a plunger for a clogged toilet the morning we were leaving around 7:30am. Left at 10. No one showed up. Look elsewhere…HUGE rip off.
Positive: Great deal. Very clean. Negative: Room temperature control was not working properly. Room was at 81-84 degrees. Was very uncomfortable.
The facility was clean, however, we were disturbed in our room by the night staff (9:30-9:55pm) for an apparent error by the night staff. The manager the next day was very apologetic and compensated the inconvenience. When I checked my credit card statement after returning home, I find an extra charge. I’ve been going back and forth with them for several days, trying to resolve this issue. Still waiting for a call back.
Positive: Cleanliness, pool, staff, all were great.. Negative: Broken drawers in the bedroom and no earplugs at the front desk..
This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are clean and very spacious. The bathroom is also very clean which is a must have for me. The beds were a bit firm and made creeking sounds every time you shifted but it wasnt the end of the world. Customer service was great.
Decent location, the facility is nice and the staff very friendly and attentive. However, in my opinion, the beds here are not up to standards of what i would expect at a Hilton property. The sheets were thin and the pillows flat. The mattress seemed very soft.

The service was great, they had free bottle openers at the desk for us. The rooms are pretty nice and spacious, though the beds arent very comfortable. Also, the mini fridge wasnt cold at all, and it wasnt possible to set the temperature lower. The view on the first floor was just of the parking lot and the freeway next to it.
Stayed in the room with a King bed. Air conditioning was not as cool during the night as we had hoped. Took a long time to reach 66 deg F. Very spacious room and excellent amenities. Pool is small. Partial views of the Pacific Ocean. Location is well maintained. Lots of good restaurants nearby.
Very comfortable. Rooms have a modern design. Staff is friendly. Nice, quiet neighborhood. No free breakfast tho but theres plenty of places to eat nearby. They do offer breakfast for a price if you want.
I already wrote a review. The Oxford Suites is BETTER!!! Since you are NOT going to show my review here I will write it again. I have had to stay at a motel 6 and they did not charge me to park at their motel but you must think we dont read our bill WELL I do. The tourist charges I think are to many ALSO!!! Once should be good enough and when you say you have an air conditioner in the room then it should get colder then 71 degrees. Your window should NOT face the maintenance employees walk way for everytime they walked by they would look into the room. My Wife closed the shades for they were walking by A LOT. It was a HOT weekend and your air conditioner made it HOTTER!!! Next time I have to go to Pismo I will make sure I stay at the Oxford Suites!!! I have stayed in Pismo 3 times and have used 3 different hotels the Oxford Suites, Quality Inn and the Hilton by FAR the Oxford Suites is the BEST!!! The WORST is the Quality Inn the Hilton is NOT to far behind. I stayed in room 230.
It sucked, they gave our suite with three beds to someone else and we had to use a roll away bed instead. No hot tub, pool was cold as hell, the kids an I were in the ocean a hour before and it felt warmer. The TV remote had no batteries in it, there were smudges of blood on the bathroom door and light switch.
Very disappointed with my stay, first when I got their the lady told me that I already check in, when I havent long story short my room was already taken by someone else, thank God she sent someone to check. She was nice and gave us an upgrade, but in the morning the people on top were loud and they had their children running around at 6am, i called the first desk multiple times they said she would call the room, but the nosie never stopped.
This hotel was absolutely beautiful and family friendly! My family and I enjoyed our stay here and the staff was amazing!! I do however wish they did room service On at least adult beverages. Just to give the husband and I something to accompany the outside patio view .

Very clean property and nicely appointed rooms that look newly furnished. The bed was a bit too firm, even with the sleep system set at the softest setting. Convenient location, but no valet or bell service.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Surprised they wouldnt have a hot tub - just an outdoor pool and a fitness center. Theres a bar and a restaurant in the hotel, but no breakfast included. New $6 parking fee as of 1 Nov -- which was not disclosed when I booked the room. And who is NOT going to park?
The front desk ladies were very rude upon checkout. The blonde didnt want to help anyone at all. Put a damper on a nice stay.
The room was very comfortable, although literally all of the art was hung off-center. The service was excellent, and when we had an AC problem, they fixed it within a couple hours.On the down side, the breakfast buffet was $13 for the same food that comes included for free at many less expensive hotels (powdered eggs, cereal, toast, etc.)
A decent hotel. We stayed over this place while traveling from Los Angeles to Monterey. Its location is convenient. The people at reception were very helpful. The rooms are spacey. Stayed in the first floor overlooking the patio. We had a good night sleep and had a breakfast at hotel’s restaurant. The continental breakfast had the usual American breakfast items. Fruit platters were the best part. The selection can be more but it is just ok as it is.
This is a really nice hotel, the rooms are a decent size for the price. The pool, although small, is nice. On the website it does say that there is a hot tub, upon further inspection, there is no hot tub on the grounds. Otherwise, everything was clean and well kept.
Meh. This place was kind of weird. Both my husband and I had a strange feeling about it as soon as we got there. Built into a hill you enter on the top floor. They advertise adjustable beds but we couldnt get our bed to change even alittle. It was like sleeping on a rock. When I spoke to the front desk, all they said was oh, were sorry. The lighting in the room was very dim. We went to the bar to eat and my hubby ordered wings. They were ice cold in the center. I think overall it seemed like this hotel was very disorganized and needed stronger management to put some structure in place. As we sat waiting for our food, staff was complaining about the place within earshot of us. Unprofessional.

Hotel was situated in nice part of Pismo Beach, easy access to town and amenities. Room was clean and appointed with what you would expect a standard Hilton hotel to offer. Bed was a bit soft and traveling with a family of 4, wished breakfast was included.
The bathroom had a funny smell (mold and perfume mixed together). Seemed kind of dumpy for a Hilton.Bed was fine but by the morning the fitted sheets came apart and were not movers in our sleep.We could hear everyone coming and going from the slamming of the doors. We could hear when others showered because of the loud pipe noises.There was low water pressure in the shower and sinks.We had the do not disturb button on and house keeping still knocked on our door in the morning. That is a pet peeve of mine.
Rooms are big and spacious. Breakfast is good but not free (standard for HGI). Has a nice little bar with local beers on tap. The floors are kind of upside down where the lobby is on the 4th floor. 2nd floor overlooking the pool is really ground level with no view. Beds are adjustable but I couldnt detect a difference. Would stay here again if in the area.
I wish i saw reviews PRIOR to booking, but i figured, the Hilton would be better than best western. WRONG. This place was horrible. Do yourself a favor and skip.Our shower was broken. We turned it on to realize we were just going to flood the room. We typically stay at Hyatts so we called it in, assuming theyd take care of us. She said well do you even need to shower? What?Upon checkout she was very upset we called this in that she wouldnt say a WORD to us. I would never give a Hilton another dollar of ours. Hyatt is the way to go.
The hotel is right next to the 101 and has a beautiful sunset view. There are restaurants close by, as well. The hotel was very clean with new furnishings. The staff was helpful and the virtual room key is awesome. If you plan to stay at a Hilton Hotel, make sure you download the app. Well done Hilton!
Nice Hotel, spacious room and very clean. Front desk was friendly and had a smile while checking me in. Asked how was my road trip from Fresno. Made me feel welcomed.Just minutes away from the beach. I would recommend this hotel with 10 stars but I can only give 5.. I will return again guaranteed 😎😀
We enjoyed our stay greatly. The manager Cherag went out of his way to get us some of those great oatmeal-blueberry breakfast treats from the kitchen on our way out in the morning before they were set out. Beautiful view of the ocean and relaxing atmosphere. Hiltons are always very good. Clean fresh and restful. Five stars !
The Hotel Hilton Garden Inn, at the city of Pismo Beach, California, is situated near to the idilic Highway #1, that links San Francisco city with Los Angeles, and distant aproximately 200 miles from LA.This hotel have a good structure for their clients, inclusive a good pool.The rooms are very confortable, with two king size beds, microwave and other amenities.It is a great option to those are at this area of the coast of California, only a 5 hours from LA. I recomend visit the city of Pismo Beach and also this confortable hotel.
Location is fine. You can see the beach from the fourth floor. However, our room was on the second floor and our view was of a parking lot wall. Room always felt humid, even after we had maintenance look at the a/c. Wish someone would have explained the adjustable mattress when we checked in.

Night staff at front desk was so unwelcoming and incredibly rude and had a terrible attitude for no reason that I left and went elsewhere despite the late hour when I tried to check in for an unplanned stay. Will not consider again.

Large, clean rooms with a convenient location nearby the highway. Decorations in the room were new and nice. Not walking distance to Pismo beach downtown. There was a small gym, bar and pool but otherwise just a place to spend the night.
Great hotel for short stays. You can walk to the outlets if you dont mind climbing a high curb. Their breakfast is delicious and it has great freeway access. No ocean views but there is a restaurant across the street for convenience. The parking lot is just always empty so not sure how good the food is.
Amazing hotel and great location. It was very close to Pismo Beach, and located near many shops and restaurants. The staff were nice and the room/bed was comfortable. However, the pool was much smaller than it seemed on the picture. Had a fun time overall though.
Very nice recently upgraded rooms. Nice pool,but it didnt seem to be heated. No hot tub and they nickel and dime you on coffee. Other places have free breakfast.
The hotel is fine comes with breakfast but the kitchen staff mexican lady with the red hair seems like need to refresh her customer service class if she have. she’s very rude, impatient and not very happy early morning.
Very nice people very helpful. Dropped one star due to my bed having a broke down mattress. Felt it in the morning. Room however was very nice. Clean and set up with all the things you would expect including refrigerator.
Would not stay here again. All marketing lists a hotub, no hotub. Faucet plugs and handles lift off of their base. Toilet leaks. Cleaning crew has not changed the towels 3 of the 5 days Ive been here. The used and wet towels left on the floor to soak up leaky toilet have been folded and hung back up. Last night of stay, 8:30 PM on a weeknight a large group of young high school students showed up on my floor (2) and were extremely disruptive. Running along the hallways and yelling. Cursing and opening/closing doors repeatedly. I called desk who informed me they had a chaperone and asked I wait to see if they would quiet down, I agreed. That is until the students started knocking on my door ~9:45pm I opened and gave the students a lesson on etiquette. Asked where their chaperone was, I was informed the chaperone was on floor 4. Not even on the same floor as the noisy and disruptive students. No paying patrons should be subjected to this. I may expect it at a more inexpensive or less used motel. Not a chain hotel in a mid to high end area with constant professional traffic. Serious disappointment. You have been warned. Edit: And the fridge temp is not adjustable and the bed is awful. The breakfast is decent, and the staff their and in the bar are also kind and helpful. The Keurig machine, location, and kitchen staff were the good experiences.
Most Hilton garden inn’s are pet friendly so I didn’t even think to check, this one is not. Our double queen room was huge, but the view of the dumpster area and place where they store broken furniture was pretty crummy. Beds were not comfortable and I’m convinced that the dial to adjust the firmness of the beds do absolutely nothing.

Dont Stay here... Its a Rip Off. Almost $500 a Night with CLOSED RESTAURANT, CLOSED BAR, NO MAID SERVICE AND NO JACUZZI. No Staff and Convivence Store is almost bare of product. Please take the HILTON NAME OFF YOUR HOTEL. THIS THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL OF HILTON HOTELS.
Very poor customer service upon arrival and the next day by mgr, and then at check out. Was insulted over and over again. Rather than just resolve the issue at hand the staff provided their personal opinions and accused me, while not knowing my intent of my stay (not that it should matter) that i was frivolously spending my stimulus money on spring break after having a covid vaccine. Bottom line u provide a service that i pay for. When u sold my reservation to someone else be apologetic and fix it and not make excuses and insult me, my family, or my intelligence.
Overall, it was OK. I was glad I was able to book rooms right next to each other, but since I was not familiar with the place, the map was not really helpful. It is unfortunate that the food service was disrupted by pandemic regulations.
If I could leave less than one star I would. To start off, house keeping went through my girlfriends wallet the first day we left the room, elevator was not only slow, but shaky, art work looked like it was from Walmart and the carpet looks like it was from Big Lots. The pool was so small and the towels were not fresh! Walking into the room was so disappointing. The decor was tacky, they charge for water bottles, the bathroom smelt like a smokers lounge and had visible smoke stains, there were cockroaches, there was a blood stain on the mattress, and the beds were as hard as the floor. I had to double check I wasn’t at the motel 6.
Good place to overnight, hotel is built into a hillside so it feels upside down. The view from my room was a concrete wall but at least it provided light and a glimpse of sky. The staff was quite pleasant and made me feel welcome.
Very clean, great experience! You know you can expect high standards from Hilton. Bed was too firm for me, but I like a really soft mattress so thats just a preference.
The stay wasn’t bad the rooms were nice but I paid over $300 for one night and that’s not why I’m complaining because it was memorial day weekend but I’m complaining because they charged a parking fee which wasn’t even mentioned until after we checked out. Makes no sense to have to pay all this money for a room and still have to pay for parking. Shouldn’t that be included with the stay?
Jim at the front desk was very knowledgeable about local events and food and drink near by. We werent even staying at this hotel, and Jim made us feel welcome and appreciated. Its employees like Jim that keep me loyal to the Hilton brand.
Bed was as hard as a rock and the temperpedic controls did nothing to make it better. Left room at 2:00pm with cleaning lady in front of our door, putting that we needed housekeeping and getting back to room at 10:00pm nothing was done. We went out for drinks asking the front desk on the way out to please fix this and got a response of, there is no housekeeping here at this time, I can bring you towels but thats it. Its hard to believe no one on a hotel staff can make your dam bed when your paying $200 a night.

If I could give 3.5 stars I would have. The carpet in the room seems a little old and there was trash and a ball under the bed. Breakfast is still not open so you have to venture into town for it where there are some great restaurants, but the last day you need an early start as late checkout is only noon.
Perfect Hilton! Even though it is near the freeway, it is quiet. Clean and what you would expect of Hilton standards. Breakfast buffet is 10.50 per day and water in the room is $2.00-$4.00 per bottle. Parking was easy and plentiful.
The two receptionists working when I checked in were extremely rude and unprofessional. The gentleman named Jim looked at me like I didnt belong there while I held my one year old and asked for extra towels. He decided to first interrogate me asking what i was using the towels for and asking if I knew the difference between using the towels for pool purposes and showering. Then threw a fit because he had to go get me towels and made me wait five minutes while he wrote down my information before giving me the towels. I then asked about their breakfast and mentioned it stated when I booked the room that they offered free breakfast and before I could finish speaking he cut me off and said No. We dont do that here. and I tried to explain to him but he wouldnt listen to me and again just cut me off stating that they dont offer that. I left and came back up later having pulled up my account and showed it to him and he argued that that was only for Gold Members and that I wasnt one to which I responded, I am a Gold member sir. he asked for my room number and looked up my account and then proceeded to yell at me that I should have told him that the first time. No sir, the girl that checked me in should have seen I was gold and had this done for me but she was too concerned with her phone and wanted me out of the way she basically just threw my key cards at me and shooed me away. Then on the third night I stayed my downstairs neighbor complained of my kids making noise when they were sitting down watching a movie eating snacks. One of the girls came down and lets us know, very polite about it, no problem, so we left for a few hours even though it wasnt us making noise. We come back a few hours later and are greeted by a different receptionist asking if were the ones in the room above this guy and we say yes. She then proceeds to bicker at my husband saying theyve been receiving complaints from this guy the past few hours about how loud were being and hes calling in every few minutes to yell at them to which I informed her sorry but we havent even been in the room the past few hours. She says, Well whoever you let into your room after you left is making a lot of noise. Um no. Excuse me but we havent been here and didnt let anyone in our room. She tells us ok but we need to keep it down. My husband went to put our daughter to bed and is hearing the noise too so I go up and tell the girl and she starts rolling her eyes at me while Im talking and says no, the guy said the noise was coming from our room directly above his and starts arguing with me rolling her eyes and playing with her hair. I say ok get her name (Liz) and go back down to my room telling her not to bother us the rest of the night and she says sorry thats my job. Oooook.Only good thing about this stay is the restaurant staff. The girls that waited on us for breakfast were extremely nice. The food was delicious. Props to the cooks and the restaurant staff!Update: I spoke with the manager this morning at check out and he was extremely nice! Very understanding and apologetic. I do hope he actually speaks with his employees and I hope they arent this rude to other guests.Update 2: Nothing ever came of this. I got a canned response to this review. The manager said hed comp me some points and never did. Oh well.

Worst experience ever at any hotel. The people in the room next to me were so loud that it sounded like they were dismantling it. I called the front desk from 1:45am until 2:00am and no one ever picked up the phone.... I even tried the reservation line on the room phone and no one would answer. When I checked out at 7:30am all the front desk person had to say when I shared my experience was huh, wow and a few Ive never heard of these problems before. Did not offer to reduce the rate, did not offer anything. I have so many Hilton honors points that I can stay places for free. That being said, based on how I was treated at this Hilton hotel, I will forfeit the points and start staying where I am treated like a customer that is welcome instead of a nusense. A note to the guy at the front desk this morning, take a customer service class or find a job perhaps delivering mail as you currently do not have the customer service skills to deal with people that are dissatisified.

I would not stay here again or recommend it. After being in our room for an while I started to notice the condition of the room... stained carpets, odd smells, and glistening fluid stains on the walls. I expect that from a $60 a night room, but not a $300 a night room. After reading the other bed bug reviews, I wish I never took the risk staying here. I recommend to avoid.
Great place for business travel. If taking the family then try to stay at one of the boutique motels closer to the coast. Otherwise, its your typical garden inn. Clean rooms, hotel bar opens at 5pm, breakfast served from 6 to 10, desk and refrigerator in rooms, adjustable matress firmness..

Stayed here twice, once before Covid and this past weekend. Very clean and good service all around. Its just over the highway across from the Pismo Outlets. Good location, just minutes from high-profile locations in the area.
Nice, clean rooms. Only complaint is I wish it was closer to the beach, no fault of theirs. Quiet, clean, good price, if you want a good hotel and dont care about being close to the beach, this hotel is for you!
It was a great stay and the staff was awesome. Pets are welcomed at the hotel and they have an area for them along with bags to pick up after your pet is you forget one.

Clean. Friendly. Quiet. In a safe and quiet neighborhood but away from the beach. I stay at Hiltons 30+/yr for the last 10+ years. While I would definitely stay here again the beds are old and soft. They need repalcement. The decor is beachy but outdated. Hilton has new standards for HGIs that is new, bright, and home feeling. This isnt there yet. Yes its busy here often but its time to but some $$$ into updates.
This hotel was my first Hilton disappointment. I paid extra for a so called patio room. Problem is the patio is basically in the parking lot. When I went to the front desk to ask for a different room location the clerk was kinda rude and told me nothing else was available which is strange considering check in is at 3 and thats the time I was there.
This is a very comfortable hotel, with some good amenities and spacious rooms. The service is good, including the breakfast area. You can tell they place a priority on guest satisfaction.
Bed not comfortable. Carpet felt moist and kinda gross. Spacious room. Nice bathroom. Friendly front desk service. Great breakfast!
We have stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn in the past and had a nice, restful stay, however this time the beds were lumpy and super hard. Perhaps rotating the mattress would help. I felt it was pricey for what we got because it was a Saturday night. I wont stay here again.
Our stay was comfortable and we were happy with the rooms we got for a last minute booking but the service was poor. We were unable to get glasses (they only offered plastic cups) for our rooms even on request and the older gentleman in the front desk was curt.
Beautiful hotel. The grounds are gorgeous and very relaxing. Easy access to all rooms from the back parking lot. Very quiet and clean.
Clean and pleasant. Ask for room service, otherwise they wont provide. Great central location and ez 2 miles from Pismo Beach State Park, Shell Beach trails and downtown.
The hotel itself was good, but we left for a few hours and someone entered our room and stole items out of it. I went back to downtown Pismo to repurchase the items that where taken and clerk told me this is not the first time she had heard this happen at this hotel.
The GM is aweful at the Hilton Garden Pismo Beach... Bed bugs and no resolution to offer... we checked out and stayed at the best western down the street. clean no bugs and the GM was wonderful. This manager was so rude and unprofessional, I am surprised that the Hilton has hired someone of her lack of ethics and compassion.She is very lucky to have a job......Stay clear of this place it has Bed Bugs in both room we rented and no one cared to try to fix it so, we went to the BEST WESTERN down the street....Management is Unprofessional and Rude.....
We woke up with thousands of ants in our room, front desk didn’t seem to care and were very rude when I brought up the issue. They refused to compensate us in any way. Very disappointed with this hotel and I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
Stayed here over a week. Rooms are clean, very spacious. Standard breakfast. They only have regular Coffee which has a burnt taste. Couldnt drink it.
This Hilton compared to the new Hilton Garden in Vegas was a bit of a let down. The rooms definitely need a bit of a makeover. However, everything functions so this is more of a comparison. Though, the gym was a bit of a hit and miss as man of the machines were missing the button top making some features not accessible. It wasnt a bad experience but not an amazing one either
Over $300 a night for a very average room plus they charged me $5.99 for parking!!! Oh my. And for an additional $6.00 I could buy a breakfast box with a couple hard boiled eggs and whatever else is in it. Room was an average Hilton Garden Inn that was of average age... Things worked but they didnt...

This hotel is on a hill so some of the rooms have either no view or the view of a wall or the parking lot. I wish i was told that when booking. i did not like having a view of the parking lot as well as others could see right into my room at all times
Great location but worst management. Power outtage was poorly handled. Restaurant is closed. No breakfast boxes. Grim looking staff on front desk. One of the worst hilton garden inn. Plenty of better rooms in the area. Dont have to pay to work with a cold place.
I stayed with a friend. I really injoyed staying there, everything is really clean and nice looking, the staff was very nice and polite. its kind of in a weird location but it didnt really bother me, kind of hard to find the correct entrance. all in all I would love to stay there again.
I am currently still awake at 2:30 am due to the bed being extremely uncomfortable. This bed is by far the most uncomfortable bed I have slept on in a Hilton. Hard as a rock. Ive slept on a better bed at a motel 6. I never leave bad reviews, and am not picky when it comes to beds, but this is just that bad. I hope this review saves a back or two.

Clean rooms and hotel! Breakfast has a super limited selection during the week burrito or waffle. Also, there bar area is closed so no afternoon drinks. That’s a bummer!

If I could give this hotel negative stars there wouldn’t be enough to make up for the inhospitable way they treated me and my family simply for one reason.. The color of my skin. Planned on staying 2 nights to vacation with my family in paradise. But this trip turned out to be a traumatic experience for my family. The fact that I had to explain to my 5yr old Daughter why we had to leave in the middle of the night and drive back 3 hours to get back home. How do you explain to a 5yr old daughter that there are people out there who believe that the color of there skin makes them superior over the color of our skin. Staff was a bit rude all through the stay. The thing that got me was how uncaring they were when I told them that their mattress on the sofa bed was covered in some body fluid stains and showed them a picture. I will be avoiding Hilton hotels from now on since I over paid for poor customer service and a biohazard room.
The only reason to stay at this hotel is if you cant sleep in your car. Found hair in the sink, trash under the bed and the furnishings were old and poorly arranged.
Rooms are nice, location is free way close but not beach close. My only real complaint is the wifi, it is is dreadful. It is slow and does not have a good connection. I often lose connection and half way through the night I just gave up on it altogether
Haunted Room - This is the most bizarre Hilton hotel I have ever stayed in. After checking in at the lobby on the 2nd floor(? which I originally thought its the first floor), I went to find my room, which was #316. You would guess that it was one floor up but it ended up being one floor down??? There were weird noises the whole time--from the concrete tunnel right outside my room (located below the parking lot???), from the restaurant adjacent to my room, and from the room upstairs. But the worst was yet to come, as I had the grossest, scariest nightmares I have ever had in my life and was awakened by weird human voices 2 nights in a row!! I have no doubt the room was haunted. As for the hotel, its a dive that never should have been added to the Hilton chain. Guest beware--waah-ha-ha!!By the way, I have been a golden member of Hilton for the past five years and stayed at Hilton worldwide (Asian, Europe, Hawaii islands, etc). This is the Hotel I did not receive any recognition as VIP member.
I checked in and found the previous guest left a water bottle open and soaked the floor. It ruined my business socks and I was in between meetings. I was transferred to another room where the key cards constantly didnt work. You can every move, cough, fart, and toilet flush from the person above you. Not worth it, stay somewhere else.
Had a decent 1 night stay. The Housman, Paul, was full of information and helped get us a few things from Housekeeping, when offered a tip he refused. A man who loves his job.The pool & hot tub were fun after a long drive that day.Next morning we enjoyed their hot breakfast and a speedy and friendly checkout where I paid cash. Funny story about the cash, I tried to pay the night before and was told I could not. Even though I also left a credit card I wanted to pay cash for the room and tax at check-in so I wouldnt have to stop by the front desk at check-out but I was told they do not take cash. Flabbergasted!!! Ive worked in hospitality a LONG time and havent EVER encountered such a random standard of service. (I cant remember this guys name or I would add it here, but hes a young guy, maybe 25, brown hair, pasty complection, average looking.) So I was forced to stop in the morning to check out so I could pay cash. When I asked the Manager (who checked me out) if they have a policy against taking cash she looked at me like I was crazy. (Just as I suspected!) She gave me some excuse about that guy not being familiar with cash, CASH! An AMERICAN, who is not familiar with CASH?!?!?!?! Gosh, what is this country coming to? Maybe its a generational thing like hes a millennial and cant count change but the woman who helped me with my cash at checkout was a millennial soooo. Anyway, I chalked it up to bad service.There would be more stars if checkin had been more service oriented. Housekeeping was great, we had some hair in the room and bathroom and when I reported it to housekeeping they came right away and had everything ship shape in no time. So this little issue plus the check in knocked off a star.
The location wasn’t too far from the beach and it was on a bill which was cool, however, they charge $10 for parking, they charge $10 for a subpar breakfast, the room was average but it had a bad scent, it did have an desk/office area that I didn’t need, the hotel had a small fitness center and laundry which was cool, overall not worth $250 for a night in my opinion, I give it a 5/10 overall but for a nights rest wasn’t the worst thing in the world.
Our bed was said to be adjustable and didnt work. Slept on what seemed like a 2×4 all weekend.When we notified the front they didnt help or accommodate, only apologized.

Were staying in a king size suit. Its crazy big for a family of four. Were in room 250. It has a bedroom and a living room with a bed and 2 bathrooms. Only one has a bath.
Rooms were nice and clean, the check-in was fast. Staff was friendly, and there were many conveniences available. However, the WiFi was spotty and the fridge was loud, so I had to unplug it.
We got a suite, 2 queen and 1 king beds. The room is very spacious and clean. Its easy to find parking. Easy to access from the parking lot. Very impressed

They did not bring clean towels or coffee, we had to ask for that. Who doesnt need clean towels every day? For the price they should be cleaning room, fresh towels etc. Paying for parking on their property is wrong!

2023-12-01 18:32:14Found cockroach in coffee machine. Stayed Nov 18-19 2023. Immediately left room and collected in another room (we had 2 rooms for a total of 4 people). What was worse is that when we brought it to the attention of the front desk, it was like they didnt care.I asked for manger to call back. I wrote to manager Mark Roemer, with no response last 2 weeks. Also called several times for follow up and wrote to Stephanie Vega. She called me once and said that she would check with management and get back to me. Still no response after following up several times via email and phone. The agents say that they will pass on my message and someone should reach out right away. However, no response.They have a problem with sanitation and with management who doesnt show that they care.As a Diamond member, I am heavily disappointed.Stay here at your own risk!!

2023-11-22 16:41:53This is a great hotel off the freeway right between Silicon Valley and LA. Easy to get to, near an awesome grocery store and lots of good Japanese restaurants, beautiful trails for a run in the morning and allows dogs. The rooms are a little run down but they are clean and spacious and the staff is SO friendly and helpful.

We would never have paid $15 each for a below average hotel breakfast where they consistently ran out of things. Will not be coming back.

2023-08-07 13:34:19I have been a Hilton Honors member for 20 years. I booked this hotel for my daughter and her pet to use my points for her to visit a friend. Because the reservation was on a Friday and Saturday the rates were double the weekly price. I used 60K points for one night and was extremely disappointed to use so many points and pay over $300 for second night for a dated and dirty room that smelled horrible enough that my daughter had to open window to air out and she sent me a video of her room. The cost for this location is definitely not worth it!!!

2023-06-25 17:23:38Just stayed over the weekend with a group of friends! We got the king 1 bedroom suite and it was super spacious. Breakfast was vey delicious! Everyone at front desk was welcoming and accommodating with all of our kids! Great stay and excellent location!

Had to ask how to check when two men who were not busy said nothing when I approached desk. Upgraded room was not as advertised. Upgraded to breakfast included. Charged extra for breakfast at hotel. Called hotel once, and Hilton Customer service twice. Still waiting for refund of breakfast charge. No more Hilton!!

2023-08-19 05:33:10For the price of this room I was absolutely amazed! What a gem!!! Is it a 5 star hotel? No, but it has large suites, great location, 5 star service and really nice views. Definitely worth every penny.
