In town for a class and stopped by here after reading reviews. The food was really good. I had never had the dumplings before and there were great. The vegetable chowmein & vendi masala had a lot of flavor. This is a family owned restaurant, everyone was very nice. If you like spicy order your food spicy, it’s not super hot, good balance of heat and flavor. This will for sure be one of my go to places when I’m in the area.

In short: incredible food, great price, go here. Just trust me, its amazing. For a longer review: What a fantastic place! I will absolutely be returning. I got the the Himalayan samosas and multani soup, as well as chai tea. The samosas were incredibly crisp and seasoned beautifully, with a sauce the complimented them very well. The soup was likewise wonderfully seasoned, and the fattiness and acidity of it were amazing together. The chai tea was lovely, too! The staff was also super friendly, and the restaurant had a great atmosphere in general. Even dining alone I had an awesome time just sitting there and eating some fantastic food. I will absolutely be returning, and will miss it when I am out of town. Ive grown up in Sacramento in a foodie family, so Ive tried a lot of different restaurants, and this is one that sticks out to me.

Amazing food !!!!! We tired this place in 2022 on our way from Fresno to Sacramento and here we are again with it .It’s different from transitional Indian restaurants. Made fresh to order. The staff was very friendly and humble upon arrival . We were Suggested dishes off the menu and glad we went by it . Ordered chicken curry, shahi paneer and kashish kababs . The aroma and spices in all the 3 dishes on point .Our 5 year old replay liked the shahi paneer, which was made on a special note of not being spicy . Could taste all the flavors and enjoyed each bite . Tired Nepali Roti for the first time and it was the most delicious thing my family had in ages .This place has become a must stop place for us upon visiting Sacramento. Everyone should give it try,

Regrettably dined at this restaurant and encountered multiple issues. The food lacked flavor, the service was subpar, and to make matters worse, there was no air conditioning, leading to an uncomfortable dining experience with an abundance of flies buzzing around. Not recommended.

Please give this place a try! Nepali food is different than Indian food. If you havent tried Nepali food, momos is a good way to start. The food was made hot and fresh. I could tell that the owner and the employees put their heart into it.The owner himself came to take my order and serve me. Such a kind man with great food recommendations. The place is a bit hard to find due to the nearby bigger eateries but I would say it is a hidden gem. The place may be small but in a cozy and welcoming way. Please please please give it a try!

Best local spot in natomas area. Every dish was prepared from scratch and with love. All the ingredients are fresh and seasoned to perfection. You have to try the Momo dumplings. Butter chicken is classic and a must have but I urge you to venture into the menu and try the Himalayan flavors too. The cheese inside the naan is made in house and so delicious. The sizzler plate is large. Definitely a shareable dish in my opinion. The owner is super friendly, accommodating, and will answer any questions you have.I have several favorite Indian cuisine restaurants I go to, but this one is now on my top list!Oh yeah, their coffee is made in house as well.Come hungry and you will leave satisfied

This is the second time I’ve come this week and I wish I had come sooner. Delicious food, a super kind staff; and the best chai in town.I’ve had the cheese naan, chicken mono, chicken saag, and vegetable tikka masala. By myself. No sharing! The tikka is creamy and the vegetables cooked just right. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the tasty spinach had a wonderful texture without being overly greasy, which I often find in other places. The naan was perfectly toasted with a smooth cheesy center. All of this amazing meal was meant to last several day, but I couldn’t stop myself from indulging. It’s worth it.Now I am back to try the samosas, mixed veg curry, and eggplant. And of course, another cup of chai!Update: the samosa were *chef’s kiss* - flavorful, crunchy, and deliciousThe eggplant was smokey perfection (it is puréed, so great for scooping with naan)The veggie curry was just okay. I think it would be better as a chicken dish.Heading back again to try fish pakora, chicken tikka, and tandoori roti.

Let me tell you a story. Visiting the area for work. After a long work day, I needed some nutrition. Something to pepper my mouth. Feeling like a sauce/spice. Some alive food. I spent 2hrs checking out restaurants in the area. Quite a lot of options. But something stood out on here. The owner was mentioned. And when I got in, I wasnt disappointed. I was greeted and ushered in my seat with a bottle of water. I wanted to carry out but decided to eat in due to the reception. The food (lamb biryani) was amazing. And the customer service is impeccable. He greeted every customer like a returning customer. Attentive and engaging.Surely coming back whenever Im back in town.

Wonderful place to eat! I love Indian food but my dad and I had never had Nepalese cuisine. We ordered a lot and it was great! Chicken momos, Himalayan samosas, veggie curry and lamb saag were all delicious. Mango lassi was perfect and refreshing and the desserts he recommended were great! Great family run place with extremely kind man waiting on us. Definitely go support they have a large menu of delicious items and great prices!

I went to this restaurant, food was so delicious. I had veg thali and veg momo and I got the taste from Nepal. They also gave us bread (roti), it was just how my grandmother used to make. Food and service is best.Do visit this place if you’re looking for Nepali taste and ambience.
