2023-11-10 23:48:05Indian food that is both tasty and reasonably priced!I enjoy going on culinary adventures and sampling cuisine from various cultures whenever I travel. I wont lie to you all...my Latino butt doesnt recall what I ordered, but I did take some pictures and understood some of the ingredients.Lentil Soup - was free and actually good!Taj (beer) - 1st time having it, definitely not the last!Appetizer - It featured both a savory and a sweet sauce, and it gave me some queso fresco vibes. Definitely enjoyable to me, and it was fantastic!Lunch Special - all I remember is that it was very very good!Overall, it was a fantastic experience! Although its only nitpicking, the atmosphere could use some music, and the server could have done a better job of explaining the cuisine. Still, the waiter was friendly and attentive. Will I return?Yes... I will definitely be back! Now its time to nap away this big belly 😂

2023-11-18 02:03:48Good food, great outdoor seating area. Recommend the chow-mein. Don’t recommend the chai (chai is rarely good when eating out as i find it’s too watery)We went for an early lunch on Saturday and it was very the quiet. Would recommend!

2023-08-16 21:02:06Weve been trying all of the Indian places around greater SD lately, and, usually, each one is great at something but lacks in another regard. Theyll have good food but small portions or good service but bad pricing. Himalayan Palace has attentive waiters, extremely reasonable prices (particularly for their lunch special), great portion sizes, and phenomenal food. This is a hidden, and underrated, gem; go eat here.

2023-01-01 03:17:06We came on Christmas Day observed. It wasn’t our first choice. It was the only one opened after checking out three other locations in the area. So we’re thankful that this place opened and the food was pretty good. Just wished their spice level matched their hotness.-Vegetable momo (10 for $10.95) - steamed dumplings served with Himalayan sauce. This sauce is so good!-Vegetable samosa (2 for $6.95) - large deep fried puff pastry with tamarind.-Vegetable pakora ($5.95) - deep fried potatoes, spinach, vegetables served with mint chutney.-Navaratma korma ($15.95) - vegetable korma. Really good and creamy spices.-Veg Thali (($18.95) - This came with a plate of everything even dessert. Rice, tarka daal which is a lentil curry, mixed vegetable curry, raita which is like a yogurt mix as a salad or a dip, and pudding for dessert. Also dal soup.Overall, food was great and so was service except the veg thali came with butter naan and we never received it. We had ordered cilantro garlic naan and didn’t noticed until I was boxing the left overs. They no longer serve All You Can Eat.

2023-07-02 23:25:30If you are searching for authentic Indian food then this is not the place to look for.I went with my family over lunch and ordered a starter first. The service is pathetic and for everything you need to ask them. After getting our order we have to ask for dishes. Once we get the dishes we then need to ask for cutlery. No one was there for servicing. Even for refilling our water glasses we need to ask for multiple times. After finishing the starters we ordered the main course and asked to replace the dishes but they denied and counter questioned us why the dishes needed to be changed. The waiter asked whats wrong with these dishes? We anyways started our main course just to realize that Yellow Dal was just boiled in water with no salt or any other spice at all. Later, whatever we tasted we figured out that the food was prepared without any salt or any other spices.Indian food is famous for its spices and flavours but all we got is just boiled items.Definitely, not recommending to anyone.

2022-09-29 02:45:25Really enjoyed my delivery of saag paneer, combo biriyani, and mulligatawny soup. The portions are generous and it arrived hot. Nice flavors and not overpowering. The biriyani had a slight unexpected spicy kick but I like that!
