Himalayan Taste in San Juan Capistrano

This restaurant never disappoints me. We have been here 3 times and all three times our experience was amazing. The food and staff are both top notch.We went there over the weekend and ordered a few appetizers and a few main entrees. Everything from onion Bhaji to paneer curries, and dal was perfectly made. The breads were also very soft.Will definitely visit again and again.

First here at this place, and I tell you, I thanked my good friends who brought me there. Food was amazing and so with the service...it is a must go place.

Mack took great care of us. Friendly and timely service, delicious food, and clean tables. We were a party of 7 and they fed us quickly and for a very fair price. Family style eating with portions that can be shared by two to three with excellent spice.

Honestly, we never would have believed that one of our favorite restaurants would serve Indian cuisine! Their chicken is so tender and the different sauces are delicious. We love the mango, coconut, and curry sauces on the chicken and you must get the Naan bread to go along with. We have brought at least 5 different families and each one loved it and has gone back.

I love this place and the staff was extra friendly I forgot my debit card and the person working there ran to my car to give it to me. Honestly the food is so good even if the staff was bad Id still go.

I FINALLY found my go-to Indian restaurant!!! Ever since I moved from Garden Grove Ive been looking for a great Indian restaurant around the Dana Point area and Ive tried a few but they were all just ok and WAY overpriced. Everything here was top notch. Great portions and reasonably priced. My gf and I got lamb kabobs, lamb vindaloo, appetizer sampler and garlic naan bread. Everything was amazing. Naan bread was best Ive had and they give you a whole basket for $4. Sampler was a great bargain. All the sauces were great. Lamb was perfect and a huge heapin bowl of perfect basmati rice. The place is very cozy and casual but nice, clean restrooms and very nice service. I will absolutely be coming back here over and over.

First time here. Just visiting from far away. I was skeptical because this is one of my favorite styles of food and did not know if this was going to authentic. I was surprised to discover how authentic this tasted. This was a tasty place.

Stripmall Himalayan food. Came here on a Monday for lunch with my parents around 1pm and got a table immediately. Indoor dining only (no outdoor options). Plenty of parking available in the shared strip mall parking lot. We got an order of chicken momos (they come in 6 and do have a veggie option) which were super tasty. Split a mango lassi with my mom; it was on the smaller side but the lassi was thick and creamy. The butter chicken comes with rice and is rich. The tandoori chicken however was my favorite - it came sizzling hot and with plenty of flavor. Toss in an order of garlic naan (comes with 6 pieces) and you’ve got a great meal.

Its very tasty. You will enjoy Indian food with reasonable quantities. . You can visit with family and its a reasonably big place to have a place. I was thinking about distance but once I had food then I was happy to be there.After a long time, I had a good and tasty indian food. I tried covan fish curry with basmati rice and garlic naan. Its very tasty.

Our family really enjoyed the chicken/lamb/mushroom masala, garlic Naan, and one other vegetarian dish (24). The service was very kind and the portions filling. Thank you very much, will come again!
