2023-09-28 17:33:04So we were a surprise birthday party of 32. A few of us arrived early to set up balloons and enjoy happy hour. We are a very blended family. The Asian side of the family got no problems ordering drinks and appetizers. The waitress looked at the other side of the family and acted as if she didnt understand that we were together and wanted plum wine. When it was time to go to our tables they did not have enough seats set up for us even though we came to location to see if they could fit us all. Once we squeezed in where we could make room we finally got to order. The same waitresses had such a nasty attitude while taking our orders. Asked for a plate and to add salmon too the order. She insisted that we needed to order a whole order. After making it clear that we didnt need all the side she said that she would find out how much a side of salmon would be. $15 and $35 is a big difference. We had two grills but our cooks came out at different times. One table was eating before the other tables food was being cooked. The only plus side of this visit was the cook. He was great. Very nice and friendly. The food is not good at all. Not seasoned, no flavor and overcooked. Looks good but does not taste the best. Please just spend the money and go to the original Benihanas.

2023-07-14 13:41:35Stopped here while in town for work due to good reviews and it being close to my hotel. I was greeted upojg entering and got a seat with no wait. The food came out fast, and I really enjoyed the Magic Mushroom appetizer, I havent had one like it before. I got an unagi roll and a specialty roll which were generously sized, I was unable to finish them, but they were good, and tasted fresh. I will be coming back next time Im in town!

2023-03-24 05:30:11First off Food and Service was great! There was a few funny little things but nothing major. I thought it was a little interesting that all the Christmas decorations were still up and it’s March. 😂 also all of our to go boxes were all broken in the same place and would not stay closed so they gave us all rubber bands. That was a little interesting. As far as the food goes it was delicious I got the steak and lobster hibachi and it was a ton of food. I got steak, lobster, fried rice, 2 shrimp appetizer, miso soup, salad, and a scoop of ice cream.I would definitely come back I don’t care if they celebrate Christmas year around 😂🎄❤️

2023-06-25 14:44:09We were seated within 5 minutes. It was a busy night, but the service was good. The only complaint I had was that we kept asking for table settings, and we didnt get it until the main dish arrived. I needed a napkin to wipe my mouth.

2023-02-26 06:18:59We had the dinner combo for 2. The miso was watered down and didn’t have much of salty clam flavour. The tempura was stale and not crispy. It was sitting there a while as it wasn’t warm when it reached our table. The chicken was grilled but not marinated, meat bland. The NY steak, can only be served well done. Salmon was good however the chicken, NY steak and salmon were all glazed with the same sweet lightly tasted teriyaki sauce. Crocket was good. This came with a roll of California, a piece each of sake (salmon), toro (tuna), hamachi (yellow tail) and ebi(shrimp) sushi. Gyoza was burnt. Sad to say we did not finish half our food and ended up going somewhere else.On the positive side, our server was tentative and the fresh oysters were amazing. This place is busy and I wouldn’t come back to taste the cooked food. Perhaps the rolls are better.

2023-11-29 17:10:26Not sure what was happening that day, We were sat in the side grill room, It was sooo smokey the whole time, horrible ventilation. I had to get up and find our waitres for refills. Food was par, tasted better the next day, leftovers. Sauces were good. Next day my hair still smelled like the food.

2023-10-16 00:17:12Generous good portions for the price then downhill from there. Service was slow and in attentive and they made no effort to make up for the fact that the grill broke and we had to wait extra time. We were also shocked that we had to pay $6 pp to upgrade from steamed to fried rice.

2022-07-19 15:28:46We sat at the sushi bar for lunch. It was excellent, fresh and flavorful. We started with the edamame, seaweed salad, and miso soup. The hamachi (yellow-tail) was fresh, buttery, and sweet. My lunch partner loves Spicy Hotate (scallop) and it too didnt disappoint. We ordered the Sumo Roll which is compromised of inside - shrimp tempura, cucumber, and crab; then the roll is topped with unagi (grilled eel) & avocado. We were very happy, satisfied diners. We also had the fresh wasabi which is a special treat, totally different texture and experience from the dry, reconstituted wasabi normally served. Hinata also has a steakhouse robata that has the chef preforming while cooking while the patrons are seated around the cook top. We watched a two performances and they people seemed to be having a lot of fun! This place is definitely a Do Over!

2021-10-31 23:03:30Lunch special was great! Can choose 4 types of small sushi roll/nigiri/hand roll from selection for only $14, totally worth it!Love the deep fried rolls, theyre crispy and warm when arrived. Theres no excessive sauce on the rolls, which I prefer this way.Service was friendly, price and quality were reasonable, definitely will come back!
