2023-11-22 15:53:46Authentic ramen in the heart of Newark, Fremont. Food was great with 3 vegetarian options. Quite pricey at around $20 per bowl of ramen. Service was good.

2023-12-09 00:52:55Been to a lot of ramen places and this be is the second time we’re going to this one. Place has good and fast service. We ordered their signature ramen. First bite was a shot of umami with just the right amount of richness. The noodles were cooked perfectly.

2023-11-20 00:51:32As far as ramen goes, I wouldnt say it was stellar, but it was good. Nothing really to complain about but the ramen didnt seem to stand out that much. The atmosphere is great, the staff is exceptionally polite.Ill come back for sure and try some more of the menu, Ill definitely be getting the menma again, an excellent side dish.

2023-12-05 18:48:42Solid 4.5 star spot. So excited to see a new ramen spot in Newark! Hinodeya is an easy to locate restaurant right on the corner where the former KFC used to be. Its on the smaller side but on a Saturday night we found parking easily. There were groups of 6-8 inside and plenty of tables for 2, as well as a small bar area. This ramen is 5 stars! The broth is full bodied and flavorful, and we both ordered extra spice, which did not overpower the flavor. Our bowls came with two slices of pork chashu, but they were a little dry, possibly overcooked or sitting too long?We ordered sides of kaarage and shishito peppers, both excellent.4 stars for the cost and portion sizes, which are a little on the smaller side, while the cost will average $20+ per bowl. There are extra charges for everything, including kara (spice levels), with the cost increasing as you add more spice. I also found that I ran out of broth before I finished my noodles. But theres an extra charge for more broth too.Service is also 5 stars, being both fast and attentive.

2023-11-01 22:00:22My wife and daughters are admitted ramen snobs. They felt that their meals were the best weve had since visiting Tokyo. My daughter ordered the Hinodeya ramen, my wife did the aburi cheese spicy miso ramen, and I had the hamaguri ramen. Absolutely fantastic. Everything was very carefully packed, perfectly seasoned. Not too salty, and just the right bite on the noodles. We were actually going to get takeout on back to back nights because my wife was in the area getting her car serviced. Highly recommended.

2023-11-20 21:27:26Thank you for starting it here in East bay, I used to go in San Francisco before this. I absolutely love their Spicy miso ramen, Garlic edamame and Gyozas. For me personally, its the best ramen in the bay area.
