2024-05-28 06:10:25Super amazing place. You order, tip, and request via QR code. Very busy place, but the food was HOT! and came out fast. The aesthetics were super great. They won me over with the thank you and greetings. As you enter the hit a drum, it’s so warm and inviting. My food was great and tasty. I had the chicken, omg so juicy. I was blown away. I also had the Ramen, I was stuffed. I should have chose one of two, but I was balling that day. I wanted the experience, and it was everything for me.The only thing terrible was my chop stick skills, I need HELP. Send help. :)I strongly recommended, I walked 25 mins from Van Ness, to try out this restaurant, it was so worth it. I wish I brought a friend.I will be back. :)

2024-01-29 17:40:14Pros:Nice attempt to mix new ingredient into traditional Japanese dishes. Soup is light in general. Ingredients are fresh and cooked to perfect doneness as the clams are tender. Noodles are specially made and medium hard which is acceptable to most.Cons:Put too much green onions as green onion should be an optional addition like seasoning, but mine took over the flavor of the soup. Clam soup too savory. As a clam lover who makes clam soup herself often, you know that there’s little to no room for adding salt when cook since the clam’s salinity makes the soup flavorful already.Soup is a bit greasy to me for my SEASONAL SPECIAL 🍋 YUZU ZEN (VEGAN) I think it might come from fried kale, making it a heavy texture of the broth. Soup volume could be more if possible as it only comes in half in the bowl. However the overall serving amount in general is balanced. But I was expecting a wider variety of veggies other than too large portion of green onions.Would come back again if I miss clams, but would tell them to reduce green onion and reduce salt if possible in future visits.

2024-02-19 23:57:34Wow, very surprised this place does not have more stars and a huge line outside (but that might just be because of how efficient they are with getting your order out to you).Loved ordering at the table and being given lots of options for customizing my ramen (including subbing out pork for chicken). The spicy miso at level 1 wasn’t that spicy (for a non-tolerate spicy food eater) and even my partner’s level 3 was reasonable. They had 2 vegan options, which was amazing, and they let you sub out for gluten free noodles. The kale on the vegan ramen was fried (such a delicious touch) and the overload of green onions was amazing.Love the crunchy bits (fried garlic, onion and chili oil) at the table and the bidet in the bathroom! Service was quick, friendly and impressive. Extra star because the Japanese style Muzak Top 40’s Hits was awesome, too.As someone who’s been to Japan and gets ramen in almost every major city I ever visit, this is super delicious authentic ramen. I used to go back to Ramen-Ya every time I was back in town but this is my new fav.

2024-04-23 00:03:08Appetizers were good. Ramen was okay (not much flavor in the broth). If you typically split the bill, then this place is perfect for you, because you order and pay from your phone. I don’t like how they expect you to tip before they even bring you the food. The whole point of tipping is for the service, so it’s hard to decide how much to give if they haven’t even done anything except sit me down. Place is cramped. Bathrooms have bidets. Don’t eat here if you have allergies. I heard a woman complaining about being allergic to eggs, like seriously eat somewhere else, you’re just being a nuisance.

2024-05-14 19:47:24I got the creamy vegan ramen. The broth was delicious and rich, and the toppings were full of texture and flavor. The perfect vegan comfort meal. My partner got the zen ramen which tasted very fresh and not so much like ramen, but delicious in its own way. We also got takoyaki to share and some sake. You’re able to order toppings like squash and green onion on the side. Overall great meal! This time we sat outside on a sunny day, but it was also quite crowded and therefore noisy. We might go back and try the indoor seating, which looked very themed and pleasant.

2024-03-17 07:21:19Good experience but not the best ramen in town.I got the house ramen, too many green onions and the pork was overcooked. We had takoyaki for the table and it was good. The employees were really nice, the restaurant was clean with a cool atmosphere and the bathrooms were nice with the bidet toilets.

2024-06-02 07:25:07Not sure why i didn’t review this one already since i have been there quite a few times.I remembered it was quite good when it just opened, but i have a different take now. Both ramens we ordered were WAY TOO SALTY! It was at least 30 to 40 % too much. To the point that we couldn’t finish without pouring water into them.I love green onions, but this was WAY TOO MUCH!I need 20% more noodles, it took me about 3 stabs to finish everything.I am sad that to see this place going down hill.

2024-06-25 04:31:00Ramen was great, they do give you a wide range on spice level and there is something to suit everyone! there’s no table reservation but they have a digital queue where they message once the table is ready, and it gives you time to enjoy wonderful stores around

2024-02-08 05:27:30Ramen was so so. Fried oyster and chicken were very delicious. I tasted green tea wine for the first time, it was good.
