Easy to find, plenty of parking, clean and quiet. This seems to be a trend in Holiday Inn Express in the UK and US is that the chain goes cheap on the food. I am not expecting 5 start luxury but the food was awful. Poor eggs, watered down Orange Juice, sugary yoghurt, insipid coffee, hard bread. It doesnt take much to improve on these things. Even Starbucks breakfasts are better!Its a shame as the place was great and offered good value. I would pay another $10 - $20 just to get something more healthy and hearty for breakfast.
Needless to say this Express Hotel blows even a top Wilshire Blvd Los Angeles Hotel through the waters. Top Notch service. Property is so clean it squeaks. Breakfast is great too. Plenty of selection. Room is very clean. We inspected all the sheets. Are we lucky ? Is it the same for all the room.. I do not know. But ours was all new . They greet you. Addresses you properly. Overall nice staff.. Whoever trained these men and women.. a Big shout out to you!!!
I have stayed her maybe 20 times, it is my go to hotel for Six Flags Magic Mountain visits. The staff are simply amazing. They are warm, welcoming, and make my twin 7 year old granddaughters feel like royalty. I am one of the most demanding guests you can imagine, and they never fail to meet my needs. I wish I could package this staff up and sell them to other service industries, I would be a billionaire.When I showed up with only one of the twins, the desk staff asked if the other twin was OK... Imaging that, cared enough to make sure the second twin was not sick... That is service!!!Thank you everyone, I will be back the end of august for my next visit.
Brought our college mens aquatics team in for rest. Rooms were ready for 20+ athletes and coaches. This was a great experience and exactly what the team and tsff needed. Breakfast was perfect and the the resty of the trip went great.Thank YouCoach B
The Staff at this hotel were very friendly and answered every question thoroughly without hesitation.We had driven 4 hours and arrived earlier than we though would be allowed for any offer of check-in, however (for a small fee) we were offered early check in. This allowed a little relaxation before heading off to the theme park for some exhausting fun.
The check in was easy and quick. There was plenty of parking. My room was clean and quiet. I enjoyed connecting my phone to the TV in my room to watch a movie. I like how the sink area now has liquid soap dispensers. That is very convenient.
Positive: I always love the breakfasts at Holiday Inn Express and I know I can always count on having a clean room. Negative: I had no hot water my entire visit! I thought maybe they ran out of hot water at night, but I tried again several times again during the morning and the water was still freezing! Very disappointing! Also, the room was next to the freeway and was loud.
Everything was clean. Pillows and mattress were very comfortable. We especially liked how we were able to black out the room with the window cover so that the room remained dark when the sun would rise.
My daughter and I love this location, especially after a full day spent at Six Flags. Staff is very pleasant and we love the cleanliness and organization of the building. The breakfast is the best layout I’ve seen as far as continental goes. Thank you HIE!
This is a comfortable location and facility whether you are staying overnight, or for an extended period. Clean and modern hotel with very friendly staff! A good value for the price!Close to many great attractions and local restaurants, and relatively close to the San Fernando Valley and Los Angeles.
In and out was super easy. The staff was polite and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. Room and bathroom was shiny clean. The television was easy to figure out. And breakfast was fantastic! No problems whatsoever.
This hotel is inexpensive, clean, and right across the street from Six Flags. Its also not too far from Universal. Theres a filling breakfast and the outdoor area is an excellent hang out spot. Rooms are spacious too.

I liked 99% of my stay so definitely a 5 Star review. Friendly, helpful and professional people at the reception and received a very warm welcome. Room was very clean and spacious. Location is great, close to the freeway and not hearing the noise, close to all things shopping, food, fun, ... did not have the chance to use the pool, but the pool area also seemed very nice and clean. Bed is comfortable, nice and convenient working desk and a good space to have my luggage on, and plenty of space to store clothing. Oh yes, I love the very big, high quality HD TV.My 1% ... If you stay a longer while, breakfast can get a bit boring I think.
The staff was very welcoming when I checked in. The room needed a bit of updating but was still very pleasant and comfortable. Breakfast selections were ample. Value received for the price charged was good.

We had come down to so cal to hit disneyland and magic mountain. When we arrived here in valencia we were greeted by Hannah and Alicia ( both were amazing thru out our stay) with a huge smile and a we want this to be a special time for you. What can we do for you? Service was amazing. ALL the staff, greeted us with a smile when passing in the hall. The breakfast area was immaculately clean and the food fresh and delicious. We were on the side of the hotel away from the freeway so there were never any noise issues. We had just come from a sub-par holiday inn in anaheim so this was so refreshing. The rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable. And again.. the staff made the difference. Thanks so much for an amazing visit!

My partner and I received excellent care while we stayed here. Everyone who works there was kind. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are beautiful. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our visit. We look forward to staying here again.
Location was very close to six flags so easy to get to. There were also lots of restaurants around for us to choose for dinner. The breakfast food was OK but enough to choose from for a good filling breakfast. Room was clean, staff was nice, And was able to help us in a timely fashion. Also a great hotel for a large family.

Room was clean and updated. I say only issue is you can hear the freeway traffic is closer to the freeway. Which we were. Other then the hotel is in a good area. Didnt have to worry if my car would been broken into. Breakfast was good.
My room was on the third floor. Although, our room did not have a bible, It was very comfortable and our view was great. I went to the gym and their breakfast was amazing!!
Room was new, overall very clean and the stay was pleasant up until the point I found a dead roach on the carpet the day of checking out next to the HVAC vent. For obvious reasons, this was a very jarring experience and not up to par from what I expect from a IHG property and more so from a lesser motel. Recommened to staff that they may need to spray for pests around HVAC components.
This is my go to hotel when I need a room to stay. Staff is great, hotel is clean and there is no charge for parking. Only draw back is room prices have increased since last time I stayed. Other then that no issues here
We stay here every 3 months and it is always a great experience. Most of the rooms seem like they are brand new. It has a great breakfast included with plenty of options except bacon. There is no bacon. Which is okay with me because I prefer the turkey sausage. Breakfast is served nice and early during the week. We love this hotelIt is 30 minutes from our destination in Los Angeles but we prefer to stay here rather than somewhere closer.

I love this hotel all the Staff is so friendly. This is the second time I have stayed here and It is amazing each time. From the time I have checked in Raina, Christian, Hannah and Alyssa at the front desk is so professional and helpful. There was a couple of times I needed something and they were so accommodating. My Family and I feels like this is home. Housekeeping are so friendly always smiling when they pass us by and The Breakfast was delicious and so many choices and the Breakfast lady was so attentive and friendly also We love this hotel and this is going to be our Staycation Hotel of Choice because of the Staff and How Clean and Comfortable the room are.
This was a last minute booking and we were pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was. It looks like it was recently updated and we couldn’t have been happier. The reception was great, staff were welcoming and service was nice all around. The room was spacious, and design of the room was quite practical - hooks to hang clothes, outlets for charging, microwave, coffeemaker, fridge appropriately located..bathroom was clean with simple and environmentally friendly packaged amenities - no waste with refillable soap, shampoo etc. shower pressure was perfect as well. Breakfast options could have been healthier - more precut fruits, hot oatmealI wish they had more parking or at least some covered parking.
This hotel is very close to Six Flags Magic Mountain. I don’t live close to the park so I make any visit to SFMM a 2-day affair, thus the need for a hotel. The rooms at this Holiday Inn are clean and quiet, and the beds comfortable. The AC and heating are in working condition. Clean bathrooms too. There is a breakfast in the morning which I always appreciate when offered, and there is plenty of seating available. I recommened staying at this hotel.

When we arrive at this property, we know we will be well taken care of. We are welcomed by name when arriving and asked what do we need. Breakfast is family time for all guests. Everyone is taken care of and wished a good day. When the afternoon and evening arrive, there is always a greeting and fresh water, coffee and tea are available. I can’t wait to go back!
Stayed at this location during a spring break trip with my son. The staff was excellent, I cannot praise them enough for their attitude and helpfulness. The location is very convenient to local attractions and the interstate. There are decent dining options very close to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others without hesitation.

THE ASIAN HOTEL MANAGER PULLED MY FRIEND ASIDE THE MORNING I WAS THERE TO SEE HIM AND TOLD HIM THAT SHE HAS BEEN GUNNING FOR ME FOR A LONG TIME AND THAT I NEED TO LEAVE THE HOTEL AS IM NOT WELCOME, AND IF I DIDNT LEAVE THEY WERE GOING TO KICK HIM OUT. MIND YOU UPON HIS CHECK-IN THE OTHER HOTEL STAFF WERE VERY ACCOMMODATING AND UNDERSTANDING AS TO WHY MY FRIEND WAS STAYING AT THE HOTEL AND WHY HE WAS IN TOWN. I have never felt so offended, not to mention extremely bothered by how I was treated. I will never stay at this hotel again.
I come in a few times a month to use the conference room for business meetings.Every time has been a pleasant experience. The facility is clean and the staff is helpful and nice.The breakfast room is fully stocked with different pastries, juices, yogurts, bananas, cereals, sliced bread, a toaster, waffle machine, cereals, and plenty of hot breakfast items like omelets, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage links amd more. This is hands down the best breakfast offered by a hotel Ive ever had. Their options are wonderful.

Things were great, comfortable bed, dark room for sleep, and had we not been so close to the loud interstate it would have been all completely perfect but it was still a great stay overall and we will be back everytime I need surgery which is quite often in that area.
The Holiday Inn Express in Valencia is an older building in a poor section of town. The first thing you see is a parking lot of Tesla chargers and other businesses. No warm or fuzzy feeling here. The single pane window was cracked that overlooked the pool and parking garage on the third floor. Noise from the pool lasted until 10:30 pm. Then kids were running up and down the floor pounding on doors until 11 pm. The little sleep from the hard bed and noise was not idea for my long journey ahead. Needless to say, I didn’t eat breakfast and do not recommend this establishment for a stay.
This hotel is quite possibly my favourite Holiday Inn Express hotel and I say that having stayed in more than a dozen different hotels over the past 2 months. The hotel is modern building that is spacious and very clean. The staff are fantastic, helpful, courteous and genuinely pleased to see you. The breakfast options here are better than every other HIE bar none. Rooms are clean and have a proper desk that allows you setup your laptop and work. The hotel is situated right next to the 5 freeway so expect to hear some traffic noise even during the night.Looking forward to staying here again soon.
The room is clean, and modern with a comfortable. The 50 TV is great and it has a large amount of channels to watch. The bathroom looked like new. The shower has a three position shower head which worked well and the water temperature range was nice.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s close to the highway. It has a lot of amenities, and it’s near a plethora of food choices
The staff didnt honor my advance special request for a room on the top floor; the TV didnt work; and the water from the bathroom tap was orange.
Positive: Clean with comfortable bedding. Bathrooms were spacious and updated. Having an endless supply of coffee was awesome! Conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants, and Magic Mountain. Negative: A lot of freeway noise. If you¿re a light sleeper this could keep you awake.

Best IHG stay for my large family. The staff was very hospitable, providing extra towels and providing some great breakfast. The location was ideal for us, as it was across the street from Six Flags (5 min away). The hotel was well maintained and clean.
Location is very clean, easily accessible from highway, and has a great free breakfast. Additionally the pillows are labeled either soft or firm so you get the one you prefer. Bathroom was clean with a low entry shower that was very nice.
I thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay. Purpose of stay was a funeral in Santa Clarita. Cleanliness was amazing. Not noisy, slept well, other than someone smoking in their room around 5:30am. Reception was helpful and advised rooms were non smoking. I would have appreciated a call back advising the smoke was taken care of. Breakfast selections are plenty. Must have the Cinnamon Roll!
Coffee bar needs attention. Earlier breakfast hours. Exercise room is bare minimum. Not enough parking. I needed to park in the underground parking of the adjacent hotel. Cleaning staff is great. Great location.

This is by far the best Hotel from Holiday Inn Express that my family and I ever stayed. Clean, comfortable, quiet and the best staff to be honest. Very friendly and helpful with every question. Also so good and healthy options for breakfast. Will definitely be staying here in our future trips to Six flags 🙂
We were able to book a room on very very short notice and thankfully there was a room that met our needs for a 1 night stay. We needed to leave the Merced area early to avoid the risk of being stuck on the northside of the Grapevine - Pass. Our room was immaculate. The beds were far more comfortable than the place we stayed at in Merced, CA. We were able to get the much needed sleep we needed before continuing to our next destination in San Diego County. I would stay here again. The staff was friendly, professional. and everyone had a smile. The weather was horrible but the staff more than made up for it. Thank you for a safe place to stay to ride out part of the storm!

Will recommend this hotel. The shampoo and conditioner inside the restroom is the best. Breakfast here is like walking in at Denys and you get different choices to choose from . Recommend to enjoy pool early because they close at 10 PM here. The beds are super comfortable. I like enjoying the suites here. Suites are not like separate kitchen or nothing like that but the room is decent big. The TV is big and they have better cable than other hotels, and they include wifi. You have a microwave and a mini fridge with a nice coffee maker. Don’t hesitate to ask for toothbrushes if you need any because you can get them for free here as well. They also have a snack bar area for you to walk into and buy any extras things if you need. This hotel is open 24/7 with the best and friendliest staff I came upon. Hey give you more towels for the outside pool if you need it . They have a Decent Gym . I actually love it. They have ice makers machines in every floor. They do their best to try to meet tour needs when you book your stay. You leave a happy person just as when you walk in .

This is a fabulous brand new hotel located a stones throw from their old location. Beautiful modern design for the entire property. The bathrooms have walk-in showers no bathtubs which I love. The hotel is very quiet. Heard a couple of doors slam during our two-day stay and when the family above us checked into their room they sounded like a herd of elephants but then I never heard them again. I had booked the sweet and was disappointed to see for a reservation of five people we were only given three tells and no bedding for the sofa pull out bed. Front desk was happy to accommodate our extra needs though I feel they should have already been in the room. Also our curtains were very noisy to roll up and down and our bathroom door squeaked terribly. It wasnt that big of a deal, I even forgot to mention it to the staff. Breakfast was fairly good. They have the automatic pancake maker that my kids love. And an assortment of hot breakfast choices, muffins, cold cereal, hot cereal, fruit, yogurt. It was clean and well maintained. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and I felt it was worth the little bit of extra money to stay at this property instead of their old one which is now a budget competitor that rhymes with West Bestern.
Many years in the making, many trips planned but deferred, but my daughter and I finally made it to the one park we both had been wanting to hit - Magic Mountain in Valencia. Saw an HIE and booked it, and as always was very happy with the property, service, breakfast and cleanliness. Great time at the park and the room was awesome, comfortable and spacious with an amazing bed - lots of pillows :). Definitely recommend this property when here.
This hotel was very clean, and quiet. the staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was close to the entrance well lighted and seems very safe. the bathroom was cleaned every day and had fresh towels.

This is a very great hotel with very friendly staff. My family of 3 and along with my in-laws reserved 2 rooms during our Six Flags trip. The hotel was clean and quiet. The beds are soft and comfortable. The furnishings are simple and nice. My 5 years old daughter loves the shower. Breakfast was good with a good variety of food though wish there were more cooks as some items were quick running out and everyone had to wait for more food. Wish we had more time so we could enjoy the inviting pool. We would definitely stay again next time.

Beautiful facility with friendly service, but maintenance needs to pay more attention to details.Our first room had a broken window shade, so why would they even book someone in the room if they knew it was not working? Then, the second room was clean and functioning, but the in-room safe was locked and the front desk said that they did not have anyone in maintenance to fix it. Further, the towel bars on the shower were falling off. I hand tightened them just so we could use the room, but maintenance should be more on top of these little details. Lastly, this hotel is right near the highway and is in desperate need of improving their sound buffering. You easily hear vehicles and alarms in the parking lot and also hear people above you stomping around. Also, the doors are loud when they close. Hope you are a heavy sleeper or you may have difficulty catching zzzs. Breakfast was fine and food service did a pretty good job keeping the area stcked and clean.

My son and I stayed here to go to Six Flags, which you can see from the hotel, but I recommend driving. The hotel is new/modern and the rooms were very clean and smelled so fresh. The breakfast was amazing with so many different food choices. The breakfast attendant was so sweet and wonderful, everyone at this hotel was! Truly a great place to stay. Loved all of it.

Very new hotel so rooms are pristine. The breakfast was ok. Common areas are typical. Close to the 5 freeway but you wont hear the sound from the room. Average HI with newer rooms and amenities.
The hotel is newer and seemed clean. Staff was friendly and the rooms were well laid out. Hallways were bright with good natural sunlight.Breakfast had a reasonable variety of options but hardly changed offerings from day to day, so by day 4 I felt like I was eating leftovers and was ready to see something different.Despite decent soundproofing overall there was still a decent amount of road noise since it is right next to the interstate, but it wasnt at a problematic level for me at least.The parking situation was problematic as commercial construction vehicles seem to be using it as a staging area and parked sideways across most of the spots. We had to park at the neighboring hotel a couple times. Not sure what the deal was with that, but it was only a minor annoyance since the weather was decent.Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would certainly stay there again!
Great stay, many food options near by and close to lots of local shops. Had a great time on my visit at the holiday inn in Valencia. Also a great place for kids since Magic Mountain is literally right across the street.
My first impression of this Holiday Inn in Valencia is Welcoming! Alyssa checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. We needed extra towels and she brought them up to our room. This is a new hotel with spacious rooms for a family. Very clean! The hotel is located across the freeway from Six Flags. There is a Starbucks and Dennys in walking distance. There are several EV chargers that are very convenient. However, we were initially told the charging was free and were charged a rather high rate for the use. Once we spoke to the hotel, they immediately credited our account. Thank you.Great place for a family stay and we even enjoyed the music in the lobby. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend this location. Thank you!!
This was our first time staying at this new hotel, and we will be going back. Easy access from the freeway. Great staff and customer service. The evening front desk person was very personable and seemed to care about doing a good job. She has a great attitude. Breakfast was a typical self-service buffet, very clean and well stocked. We had more than enough space for 2 people in our King room. It was a great experience. We appreciated the blackout shade. The room temperature controls were easy to use.

Every time I stay here, the staff is always so friendly and nice. They treat me very well, they are accommodating and the place is always so clean. Raina is always so nice and she goes out of her way to make me feel at home while I stay here. If I could give this place ten stars, I surly would!
This is a new hotel we great customer service, clean, comfortable and quiet. Though close to a freeway, there is no freeway noise. The breakfast buffet and shopping kiosk are well stocked. Want a 2:00 am snack? Not a problem, snack and food items available for purchase in the lobby. The hotel is located in a convenient location close to shops and easy access to I-5. We appreciated that there is an iron and ironing board in the room, as well as coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator.
Associates greeted us warmly and genuine. She exceeded our requests for reserved room and any additional items we needed. Room/bed was comfortable and clean.

This hotel is very new and clean. It has 24 hour gym, washing machine, outdoor pool and parking lots with many charging stations. Breakfast buffet is nice and you can get coffee and water all day long. The staff is always friendly. The room is spacious and clean. Besides coffee machine and fridge, it also has a microwave. My only suggestion for them is to add non diary milk for breakfast and use less plastic cutlery.

Exceptional service by Hannah. We showed up in the morning hours before check-in, & Hannah actually delivered bags to the room when it was ready. Cleanliness was immaculate, & Wan was courteous in the breakfast room going above & beyond normal service. A+. Service by the above two individuals was beyond superb. Hannah & Wan made our experience realize that Wyndham needs to take a few classes to learn what exceptional service really looks like. Attention to detail in room cleanliness, breakfast room cleanliness, breakfast menu was on point. We have never experienced what perfect looks like until now. I could have used a whit glove in the room or breakfast area, and found nothing dirty. This includes the bathrooms. Happy vibe from all patrons was clearly evident. Great swimming pool and fire pit areas. Holiday Inn even have a section for those with animals on their trip. Great free trolley area to other hotels and to Six Flags Magic Mountain. I highly recommend this hotel with impeccable service at every turn. Priceline took care of everything from the online booking to payment through an incentive of signing up for a new Priceline card. Even the perk of 100.00 off during this reservation save us some money. Thank You!
They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. We got to hotel earlier than expected and we didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The room was spacious and very comfortable beds. The service was exceptional as well. Would definitely recommend this hotel .
This hotel and its staff (specifically Raina and Hannah) were amazing. I stayed for a weekend with my husband and was given a complimentary upgrade as well as bringing cookies to our room as a welcome gift. The property was very clean and well maintained, we travel often and this staff was definitely the most hospitable and professional we’ve come across.
Hotel was almost PERFECT! great food places around, near six flags, and right off the freeway. Clean room and beautiful bathroom. Only thing about our visit was the AC, it didn’t seem to cool off more than a certain temperature. Thankfully there was a fan in the room.The room felt a bit stuffy but other than that it was a great stay.
This hotel is pretty new and you can still smell the paints in the room. Facilities are decent, breakfast very nice, and all the staff very friendly. However, one of the worse parts is this hotel is next to the high way and the window does not have any anti noise function. The noise is so loud that its really hard to fall into asleep. I am not a light sleeper.
I had a wonderful stay here and will return soon in the near future. Slept like a baby with his mommy’s you know what in his mouth lol. Was amazing at how quiet it was being right next to a freeway, simply awesome.

The hotel is still new and pretty clean. The decor is very limited and plain, hardly any art on the walls or anywhere. The breakfast is basic but decent and the pancake machine is fun. If youre going to Magic Mountain the location is great.However, the hotel is literally feet from noisy I-5. Try to request a room on the opposite side of the hotel to avoid the noise. I made such a request but it wasnt fulfilled and therefore I could easily hear the 18 wheelers day and night while I was in the room. Highly recommend ear plugs and Im not a light sleeper.
Really competitively priced, great location if youre going to six flags. Had a few issues with the room when we came in, toilet was clogged and the safe was locked already. They do not service the rooms unless you ask. Otherwise it was very well put together.
We stayed one night after visiting Six Flags. This hotel is beautiful. Great mattresses and pillows. Beautiful bathroom with good shower pressure. Breakfast was normal HI Express. But dining room was beautiful. Highly recommended.
I liked the hotel, the staff was friendly, rooms were clean. The breakfast was nice with a good assortment but I wish they had a gluten free option at breakfast like muffins or English muffins to go with the eggs and sausage. If you can eat gluten they had a good amount of choices. The rooms must be very well insulated because we did not hear anything from outside our room. 1 night we had our friends birthday party so 10 of us were partying in our suite and zero noise complaints about us. You could barely hear us in the hallway by our door. Its close to Magic mountain..I would stay again for sure but its a bit pricey.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. The check in process was nice and quick. The room and hotel were clean and modernized. The Continental breakfast was good. I might suggest some vegan options though. But aside from that, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We went to Magic Mountain for the day and we couldnt have picked a better place to stay. The hotel was super close to the park! When I called to ask a question and checking in, the staff was super friendly. Hotel was very clean. Rooms were great and the free breakfast was delicious! Such a perfect stay- my husband even loved that Dennys was in the parking lot!! Will definitely stay there again.
I gave five stars to this property because I can only gave five stars. It has been an amazing experience staying here, and I would definitely consider staying here if I travel around this area.Location: Close to I-5. Noise may be an issue outside, but in our rooms we barely hear anything. If you stay in some rooms near the highway you may hear more noise.Staff: The staff is very attentive and helpful during my stay.Room: The room is very large, and when I arrived the front desk upgraded me to a suite.Breakfast: The breakfast has a lot of choices and it is probably the best breakfast I have over the summer. I missed the omelet when I stayed in other hotels haha. The only con may be they do not offer non-dairy milk. But they do have yoghurt.

The staff at the front desk were kind and welcoming. This is a newly remodeled or built facility. Rooms were clean but two of the lights in the room did not work. All in all nice place to stay.
This hotel was so comfortable. It is new, clean, modern, and extremely comfortable. It is spacious, with so many areas to relax and watch TV or sit outside or lounge by the pool. The coffee bar is always fresh and stocked up. The rooms are large and comfortable, with all the things you could need in it. The staff were friendly and hospitable. I will definitely be going back here again.

We went to Magic Mountain for the weekend and stayed at the Holiday Inn. It was soooo close to the park. Made everything so easy. It was so easy to check in after a long day at the park. Dennys was in the parking lot so food was convenient. The free breakfast was until 10 and was really tasty! Everyone was so friendly. Nice rooms and pool was great! Such a perfect stay. Will stay there again for sure!
The staff at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful. The pool was clean and great to relax in and by. The rooms were clean and big, just not very sound proof. Over all great experience.
I was on a 3 weeks trip and very disappointed with my other IHG selections. But this hotel recovered my faith on the brand. Warm welcome, clean rooms and quiet, (I guess rooms have good soundproof windows) despite of being right next to the I5.
This location made travel to / from Dodger games very convenient. The staff was courteous and the check in / out process was extremely efficient. Room and bed was comfortable and there were quite a few breakfast options to choose from in the morning.
We came to town to enjoy Magic Mt… the night staff at the front desk was beyond accommodating!! She saw our need for additional bedding for the sofa sleeper in our room before I even asked for it! By the time my family was to our room her staff was at our door with extra bedding and EXTRA TOWELS!! All you mamas out there know how important those extra towels are!! The night staff was hands down amazing and a huge breath of fresh air! Highly recommend this hotel!
Very nice, new hotel. A bit hard to find and small parking, but nice staff.The required App download for guest laundry was complicated and felt like highway robbery with 10 dollar minimum.
I called a few days before my stay and asked if I could have a specific room and they expressed that it will be on hold. Then I contacted them the day before and asked if I could check in earlier and Raina told me to call in the morning to see if they were able to accommodate my request. I called the day of my check in and Raina told me to come in my room was ready. When I arrived she was extremely helpful in getting me checked in because she was dealing with another situation with another customer who they an issue with. She was very apologetic and professional and I told her to take her time. When it was all said and done she was able to get me checked in very early and I appreciated her help in getting me in early. The hotel is very nice and my room was immaculate. This is now my go-to hotel when Im in the area. I love this place. Thank you Ms Raina!
Had to request everything from towels to toilet paper as well as taking the trash out ourselves. They will not service your room. Otherwise the hotel is new and clean and we had a quiet stay. Breakfast choices were plentiful and good, as pre pandemic days but room prices have gone up considerably and pretty sad considering the lack of service. Close to Magic Mountain.
A great value. Less expensive that other hotels I have stayed at in the area which were not nearly as nicely appointed, clean, comfortable or in a desireable area of the city. I didnt feel like I was staying in a moderately priced hotel.
Positive: Location, friendly staff, decent breakfast. Good bedding Negative: Can try more on cleanliness - garbage in front of elevators stink overnight. Being knit picky saw a couple of food crumbs on the carpet. Shore stall shows signs of some wear.
The only down side was that my A/C did not work the first two nights. The staff at the front desk was able to move me into a similar room for the remaining five nights. The breakfast was provided and much better than I would have expected. The staff worked hard to ensure food was available when the breakfast area was super busy.
This is really a nice place to stay. Very clean, beds are comfortable, quiet. The breakfast host goes above and beyond to make a very nice meal, better than any HIE we have stayed at. Kudos!
Upon arrival greeted by friendly staff, noticed right away how clean hotel was maintained. Our room was very clean. Breakfast choices were plenty and unlike other hotels were very good. Had a relaxing stay with the family, proximity to six flags was a huge plus.
Great Location, Beautiful place- Too many ants, pillow too soft and unvacuumed carpets. The lady who was checking me out of my room, didnt bother asking how my one night stay was- A little weird. As if she didnt care.

This was the first time we have stayed in this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was our room was facing the freeway and the noise with the loud AC in the room made sleep impossible for me. I am a very light sleeper and forgot to bring earplugs so I did not get much rest. The front desk employees were very friendly.

Nice new hotel, but new staff have been poorly trained. Couldnt find the hotel because its new and GPS had incorrect directions.When I checked in they gave me key cards and said nothing. I got to the room and could not turn on lights or TV. Also could not figure out how to open the bathroom sink drain. Called the lobby and they sent a guy up. He showed me where the lever was for the sink and then asked for my key card folder. He took one of them and popped it into the fixture by the door which allowed me to turn on lights and TV. It would have been nice if they had told me that when I checked in.During the night I woke up absolutely freezing. The thermostat said 04 degrees and there was nothing I could do to fix it. I wasnt calling the lobby again, so I doubled the blankets on me and put 2 pillows on top of me. It was still freezing in the morning, but since I would be checking out, I didnt bother to call anyone. I did ask one of the room cleaners, but she did not speak English and didnt understand me.When I checked out and mentioned all the problems, the young man at the desk would not even make eye contact with me and showed no compassion. No compensation was offered, even though I asked for at least a small discount.Its a nice new hotel, but the staff needs to be trained more thoroughly.
Ideal location, next to the freeway and close to Six Flags Magic Mountain. Good pool area. Breakfast choice OK. Plenty of parking available. Rooms facing freeway could be noisy, we requested, and got, a room facing the pool so noise was not an issue
Entire hotel including room was very clean. Pool felt amazing. Water pressure in shower was amazing. Great customer service. Could use more options for breakfast buffet. Conveniently close to six flags, free ways, and a shopping mall.

We visited in June to go to Six Flags, the front desk staff was awesome. We showed up a bit early and they had a room ready to check in to. The shuttle was great because we could avoid the traffic going to the park. We got to enjoy the pool, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
My family of 4 stayed at this Holiday Inn for just one night. The hotel is new and we feel it is clean and safe. Most of the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The grab and go breakfast was just so so. It was overall a great stay. However we were disappointed that they downgraded our reserved two queens with sofa bed suite to a regular two queens room without prior notification and with no compensation either. We used our IHG rewards to book the room.
Ive stayed at many hotels, but this one was by far my favorite. Its a brand new hotel, the atmosphere was so nice. The rooms are very comfortably set up with a big TV, great AC and a super nice bathroom. Half of the staff was great the other half needs work but if you need anything to make your stay better, Reina is the one to talk too.I had a great experience at the holiday Inn Express in Valencia and I rate it a 7/10. the only thing that wouldve made it 100% the best hotel experience was if they served breakfast. The to-go bags was convenient and thoughtful but even during the pandemic other locations will have the full breakfast menu except eliminating the self serve option.
The hotel is brand new. The layout and rooms are awesome! The staff were amazing, very kind, welcoming and friendly. They wanted to make sure our stay was amazing and it was. The only disappointing thing was the pre-sacked brown bag BFast in the morning. Because of the Covid restrictions, they could not open the BFast bar. If the Bfast bar is going to be as good as the rest of the hotel then I can hardly wait till the restrictions are lifted and we can get back to normal. I will most certainly be returning.
I went to this hotel with my husband and our two girls for one night. It was clean! Room was perfect and bathroom especially the shower in the bathroom!! We truly relaxed and enjoyed ourselves before heading back to Arizona where we live. It was affordable and a last minute reservation. The Staff was friendly and helpful and check out was a Breeze!!

Our recent stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is newly constructed, and the rooms seemed like we were the first to stay in them. The room was very quiet, and we were able to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast had a choice of cold and hot beverages and also fruits and cereals.
I chose this place after completing a group tour and having a few extra days to myself. Raina was the friendliest, warmest person I have ever met at a hotel check in. She should be teaching in hospitality programs!The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was good, basic fare. The interstate is close by, but I use a white noise machine to block sounds from traffic.I would stay here again.
This is first time staying in Hotel . But only bad thing they don’t except small dogs. But, it was quiet, clean, new . It right across from six Flags . They give you shampoo, conditioner, body wash bag of breakfast because of covin. The front desk are very nice exactly Alex and helpful. Pool and exercise room is great . Very comfortable beds. A lot of park they don’t charge for that. The prices are great . If I could give a 10 star I would .
Staff is excellent and polite. Key card failed consistently, had to use one to get in the hotel and the other for the room. Needs new fabric everywhere, carpets, couch cushions, chairs, all of it stained and dingy looking. Refrigerators keep things just below room temp, not cold at all. House keeping does not clean under the desk against the wall, several bits of trash and crumbs. Pool hours were not strictly enforced, thats a plus, but water was cloudy, cant see the bottom. Check in was fast and easy, parking is decent. Location near six flags is the main appeal.
Coffee should be at least average. It may be a little thing, but most people enjoy the breakfast that is providing at these hotels. Please don’t skimp on the coffee. There should be a way to buy good coffee in bulk at a cheaper price.

Check-in was quick, and the staff at the front desk was accommodating and apologetic for putting me in a room with cigarette smoke. They immediately changed my room.
Reina was so kind and friendly when I checked in late upon my arrival. Best bed Ive slept on in a while. Loved my room. Only chinks were no bathtubs, a policy I dont like at all, and the lady who checked me out. At least a couple of people were chatting away in the office, and nobody would come out and help me. When I finally got somebody by walking back to the office, she would not print directions for me. Shes not somebody youd like to have greet you upon arriving late at night. She finally relented, but it was clear she was not there to hospitably serve. I am weening myself away from IHG properties, but this was a good one.
Very friendly staff and brand new clean rooms. Not a fan of all the rooms having showers only. Would be nice if there were tubs. Suites are pretty small and not much if an upgrade from a standard room. Late checkout should be an option especially for Platinum members they only do 12 oclock checkout so not that great when youre trying to sleep in on the weekend. Had to switch rooms since the ac in the hallway was extremely loud and rumbling. I was helped by Raina and Alex during my stay, both of them were professional, kind, and understanding which is refreshing to see.

This hotel is a great option when visiting the Los Angeles area! Its in a nice area close to highway. The rooms are so nice. Very comfortable beds. The rooms have a mini fridge. The bathrooms are spacious and well stocked. The complimentary breakfast has a great variety. The staff is all nice and makes sure you feel welcome!
1st rm had broken window shade so why would you rent it out and hope the guests would just not notice. Was told we would change rooms and be given 15% discount for inconvenience. Waited over 1/2 hr and was given a room that was noisy and had a locked safe so we had nowhere to secure our valuables. Then at checkout the manager gave us a 10% discount rather than the 15% that we were promised. Not a good image for Holiday Inn Express. We also got nothing special for being IHG members.
We stayed for one week.The staff Alyssa, Mia and Raina were of great help, exceeding the call of duty.Hang on to these ladies!Two points to mention. The highway next door is rather noisy and residing at the pool or outside the pool area is no pleasure.The quest laundry is a nuisance for visitors with a phone number from abroad. In our case from The Netherlands.The app “wash connect” requires a code which is send to the iPhone. This works if you have an number registered in the USA.In summary one can only use the app using an America registered tel. Number.A solution could be to amend the app sending the code to an email address.
Was a very nice hotel with great staff. Room was nice and breakfast was great. Two things missing was a hot tub and a bar. Had to go off site for that.
Called and made a reservation through the phone. I was charged with a different price than what I was told so I was a little upset there. Overall the hotel is pretty new and clean with great breakfast and amenities. Great choice overall.
New property in Santa Clarita. Inviting entrance, friendly staff. Nice rooms with all amenities available. Pool area looks great.Brown bag breakfast still provided until restrictions are lifted. Restaurant is large and close to the entrance.Hotel is perfectly located near highway and can accommodate large groups for Six Flags at a stone’s throw. Noise was not an issue. Will stay here again when I’m in town.
The staff was very helpful. Rooms large and cozy. Pull out couch very convenient for a larger family. Also very close to Six Flags from door to six flags gate in about 5 minutes.
We stayed 4 nights and each night when we return we would have to go get a new room key to get in because our room had been deactivated. They do not clean your rooms or replace anything unless you stay five or more days. We asked for new towels and our garbages to empty ( we had 2 rooms) on day three and no one came. We went and picked up our own towels and emptied our own garbages. Ridiculous!

Absolutely wonderful. I was lucky enough to have a newly renovated room and it was just lovely. Soothing color scheme and great lighting. Very clean and the sheets were soft. I dont think Ive ever had such a wonderful nights sleep. I loved it so much I extended my stay for another night just because of the hotel. The receptionists are funny and sweet and very accommodating. I absolutely recommended. I will be back! :)
We were a group of 15…in town for my sons 18th bday trip to Six Flags. From our first encounter with the front desk (Hannah) to checkout the following morning, was flawless. Night clerk (forget name) was beyond helpful. Just a great experience for us all. Thank you for taking pride in your facility to keep it clean and comfortable for guests.

Although listed as a holiday inn express,it had been rebranded as a Best Western which was confusing when we tried to check into the holiday inn and they told us we didnt have reservations, and that were should check the best Western next door. the carpet was stained and worn. The room, when we checked in,had 1/4 roll of toilet paper. We asked the front desk for more and were told to use paper towels as the hotel was out of toilet paper, which turned out to be a lie,as wepassed a maids cart piled high with it. We were also told we could not have a do not disturb sign,butnotto worry as the maids would only clean offer room on there this day,if we asked. While 110+ $ a night does not lead one to expect chocolates on the pillow,we were disappointed in our treatment, the dearth of any quality cable channels,at least it was reasonably clean.
I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The service is truly what stood out to me. The hotel was clean and new as well. Breakfast was ok; but that is what you expect when you stay at HI express.
I really enjoy staying at the holiday inn express, the mattress was very comfortable and the pillows were really soft. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly but the only thing was the lack of lighting in the room. It seemed quite dark with just a lamp and a desk lamp, barely lit the room up. The bathrooms were stock up with necessities and there was a note if you need additional toiletries just call the front desk. Overall I enjoyed staying here. Highly recommend it.
Great hotels. We had a great time at this location in Santa Clarita CA. I love the swimming pool. I was able to do my AquaZumba because the water was nice and warm. Heated pool.
Very nice stay for a medical appointment. Staff was great. The whole place was spotless. Requested a room away from the freeway noise. We were moved further from the freeway. However, I don’t know that you can avoid freeway noise at the Inn. It’s Interstate 5 and we heard it all night. They did their best to accommodate but the noise was still there.Maybe provide disposable earplugs in the night stands?
The staff was great but one of the main reasons i spent a little more was so i could feel a little pampered, and i even changed my reservation from another hotel to this one based on the breakfast that i confirmed over snd over was still happening- but wasnt. I also specifically requested a room with a tub and did not get that either- as for rest- no the freeway is rt there and very loud. I wanted a little bit of pampering and got zip- ithere wasnt even housekeeping- and when the service stopped by i had rounded up my towels for them, but they acted like the couldnt understand me and when i spoke to them in their language she just stared at me and walked away. She handed me 1 towel in return so i ended up using my shirt to dry my hair, i paid for 3 nights but left a day early because it just wasnt what i wanted-
We found this place by accident but turns out it was a blessing. It was a hot weekend, so we enjoyed the outdoor yet shaded pool in the evening and nighttime. The next day, we even took a morning dip. Breakfast had a descent variety of continental and hot sausage biscuits. Overall, I pretty good experience.
Very nicely decorated room. Clean rooms and lobby areas. Main and only concern at this time is the elevator. The noises it makes were very concerning. Overall happy with our stay at this hotel tonight.
This location has great customer service and very clean rooms, theyre a little small but that wasnt a problem, the location was in a good place to venture out and try restaurants and the theme park, I will definitely come back to this hotel again.
Very clean and modern hotel. Bathroom was spacious and had walk in shower instead of the dated tub/shower combo. Staff was very attentive and approachable. Only downside was the grab-n-go breakfast which had minimal option but understandable given current restrictions due to pandemic.

Spacious and comfortable room with modern amenities and decor. Nice lobby and free parking, with moderately large pool and outdoor firepits. Free hot and continental breakfast, very friendly staff. Very close to Six Flags, restaurants, and mall. Surprised this is rated only a 2-star! 5/5.
I love Holiday Inn Express, and if they have a location near where I need to travel, I always look at them first. I have never been disappointed when choosing this hotel chain.
This was our second stay at this hotel. Our first visit was great, this time not so good. To start off, it took a while before someone came to the front desk. The phone was ringing and ringing as well. I was told there was only one person on staff. I arrived before 8:00 pm. When I was finally checked in, we were given a room that was already occupied. I opened the door and walked into someone else’s room. I had to go downstairs to get another room. When I got the new room, I was looking forward to taking a shower immediately since we had spent the day at the water park, however there were 0 wash cloths so I had to again go downstairs. There was no hair conditioner in the shower so the next morning I specifically asked the housekeeper to refill. When I came back for the day, not only was the conditioner not refilled but the room was untouched. No turndown service whatsoever. No clean towels, beds weren’t made. I was disappointed to say the least.

2023-10-16 23:59:59My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. I had a company meeting to go to on Saturday and we wanted to use our six flags diamond passes while in town. We arrived late Friday/early Saturday and check in was quick and easy. Once in our room I was immediately impressed. The were numerous USB plugs all around the room. The furniture was adequate and the bedding was to die for. The tv was new and accepted all the different electronics out there. The shower was large and the water pressure was great. Overall it was a really great trip.

2023-10-01 21:01:50A hotel that puts their guests first!! Raina was absolutely wonderful always helpful, accommodating and has an incredible infectious attitude that now-a-days is almost unknown. The hotel is Incredibly clean, room was big with very comfortable pillows & bed. While we had a room that faced the Freeway we did not find the noise disturbing. Hotel is in a Very sweet small town with many dining, shopping & gas options. Location is only 30 minutes from Universal Studios & about a few minutes from Magic Mountain. I do need to emphasize that my room was immaculately clean, outstanding service overall from all the employee’s we came across (Hannah & the gentleman with glasses at front desk too). I can’t forget the delicious complimentary breakfast they offer. Isabel was amazing, courteous and so helpful and am now craving her chorizo with eggs that were offered the first morning after we arrived. We’ll be back again soon! 100% Recommended.

2023-08-25 23:59:59I reccomend this hotel unreservedly. Located just off the freeway. Checking in was a breeze with friendly staff who provided information about the area. The lobby was very clean and inviting.The standard king room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Huge TV, microwave and fridge. The room was quiet and the bathroom had everything needed. A hot buffet breakfast included with my room offered a variety of items to enjoy before setting off for the day.I would definitely stay again.

We utilized the very nice pool and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of food. We would definitely use this hotel in future trips.

2023-10-03 02:41:55The BEST besides the comfortable room we stayed in was Raina at the front desk who went above and beyond to take care of us which made our stay that much greater.Great location next to Dennys and short walk to other restaurants. Everything was exceptional. The breakfast and staff were all friendly and ready to help if needed and food was so good. They have a nice pool too. If were ever back in town, will surely stay here. We enjoyed the pool very much and the towels area was fully stocked with freshly laundered towels. The room was 10/10 on cleanliness detail.

2023-09-15 02:45:51One of the best Holiday Inn Express experiences I have had. The staff are super nice. The rooms are big and very clean. The beds and sheets are top quality and very comfortable. The breakfast had a large selection of delicious options. There is also a gym and swimming pool. There is ample parking and if you are going to Magic Mountain it is just outside of the entrance to the Magic Mountain driveway.

2023-09-06 23:59:59Positive: The hotel was right across the from Six Flags! I love the fact that we didn¿t have to go far for anything, everyone there was super friendly. Breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again! ¿¿ Negative: The towels! The towel were too scratchy. I have a nerve pain condition so when I have anything that¿s too hard & scratchy on my skin¿I have a huge flare up & im in pain for days. Other than that everything was perfect!!

2023-11-12 18:21:29I would definitely stay here again. It was in a great location. Did have a noisy freeway but it didnt bother us at all. Very comfortable beds, clean and very nice people. I have zero complaints about it. If I ever go to that area again this is where I will stay again.

2023-08-17 18:23:41Just lovely! Great staff. Met the famous Hannah and Waldo and Alyssa were also fantastic. Clean as anything, comfy sheets pillows and beds, great towels, beautiful pool nice breakfast, just delightful. Wish we could bring the hotel on the rest of the trip.
