Asked for pork chai sui but I got beef. Our friend said his pan fried geen jur mein wasn’t crispy and in fact mushy. He asked for a little curry added to it but it tasted like tomato beef chow mein. He said Empero does it crispy and perfect. Disappointing. The lady was very nice and friendly and gave us a complimentary dish of salt and pepper. This made up for the misorder and the not crispy geen jer mein. They don’t sell their ice cream anymore. It was a bargain at 50 cents.

Great takeout choices for lunch.....a small is decent size yet only $1.50 so for $4.50 I can get three smalls....and they are delicious.

I was trying not to cry at this restaurant. It was a Chinese couple and they were so kind and caring. I ordered a party tray and I was given a free ice cream and egg roll while I was waiting. They reminded me of my grandparents and I they offered to help me to my car. I tried thanking them in my broken Cantonese. They were so kind and they reminded me of my Chinese grandparents (no longer with me so it hit me hard). I’m coming back again

I’m gonna be in love with this place for a long time. It’s my new favorite place to eat since i discovered it by chance. the price is incredibly cheap as well. the only negative aspact is that some of the vegetables and meat are not trimmed well because of the speed at which everything is produced. also some dishes might be cold if no one takes any for a while. YOU MUST try their egg rolls. so cheap and huge! I’m gonna have to send some people back to hong kong with me!

I had Chinese for breakfast - cant say I do that everyday. The staff were all very accomodating, I think it is family owned, a gentleman gave us complimentary sweet snack, being the year of the pig, I suppose...my Chinese goes no further than ni hao mao if that is even the correct spelling?! All in all, great food, affordable, and wonderful service. It also inspired me to look into my chinese zodiac - a snake rather than a horse, to my dismay.

Cool and clean and comfortable. Its a good place to duck out from the harsh San Bruno avenue and pick up an extremely affordable, healthy meal. Sit down and cafeteria style.

This place is good. They are cash only and in my neighborhood. The guy in the back always makes the hit and sour soup fresh and it is so good

Cant beat it for the price. $5 (in cash) gets you an an entree and 2 sides. My favorite is the lo mien with sesame chicken and veggie delight.
