Small simple dining area. Seemed the place did decent with how many people were coming and going but when I received my food it was different than I expected. Food quality was poor. I ordered garlic chicken for an up charge to one of the dinner options and the chicken was so over cooked it was more along the lines of chicharones covered in sauce. My husband ordered Mongolian beef but it was more like Mongolian onions. We also ordered egg flower soup but it came like scrambled egg soup instead of ribbons of brothy egg soup it was thick and clumpy with no flavor. We took a chance on this place but will not be returning.

The place was clean, the staff was nice. Walked in and ordered my food for my family and was ready to go pretty fast. The egg rolls were amazing, the pot stickers are the best in town, and I have tried them everywhere in Modesto. The fried rice was good, the garlic chicken was good, and just needed a little more sauce. Reasonably priced.

Don’t come here ! Food tasted old from next day ! Sweet and sour chicken tasted Atleast a day before old and was just over heated !Asked the lady if the chicken was from today and replied she didn’t know !

I can see why this place has been open for so many years. Firstly the service was amazing, I would have been fine to just receive a menu and a bill at the end but the lady taking care of us was more than hospitable and overall made the experience more than just a simple outing for us.The menu was simple and straight-forward, I got the special combo plate to try a little of everything and was pretty happy with what I got. The lemon chicken is a favorite and with the ample rice and noodles on the plate I was very satisfied with what I got.Will be returning to try the rest of the menu, with how good the food is and the level of service I receive it has quickly become a lunchtime favorite of mine. Parking is very accessible thanks to the plaza right next to it.

There customer service is the worst we used to go eat there all the time but today I went to pay at the counter and the lady at the register was in a bad mood she did not give me the fortune 🥠 cookies like all the time and I asked her if I could get one and she tossed it over the counter I can understand when you have a lot of customers waiting but the place was empty only us and one other table so disappointed I loved the food but I will try to not go back

Went there for lunch took 45 minutes to get our food. Only two of us they were more focused on the to go orders. Also people who got there afterwards got food before us. I was very respectful just ask for food to go.

Cheap, undercooked, raw, super salty, and tasteless garbage. Customers should eat at Panda Express. You’re better off eating frozen Chinese food which is a million times tastier than this soggy piece of trash. Your business will not last I tell you that much; especially if you don’t have your employees do things correctly in order for your business to succeed. Just wait until the department of health sees what you have done again. Don’t serve undercooked and non-wearing PPE to serve customers; unless you’re looking for a lawsuit or lawsuits from customers for food poisoning. You will get shutdown… If I were you I would tell your employees to do their jobs and you should to as a business owner. You have the nerve to argue with me as your former customer and you’re the business owner. You refused to refund me and you gave me attitude and your manger did too. I want to give Hong Kong another star but can not. This restaurant just needs some bean sprouts in the Chow Mein and alot more Sweet and Sour sauce. Recently I received no sauce at all on my order. My sweet and sour chicken, had no sweet and sour .. Very unfortunate.

I’m 22 and my family has been coming here my entire life and my parents have been coming here since before they were even married that’s how good it is. Honestly since having this Chinese food I’ve moved around and this is still the #1 Chinese food I crave on a regular basis. We are new to Modesto from northern California and were excited to try this restaurant after it reopened. The food is delicious. Next time I will ask for less onion and I did find a large onion skin in my Mongolian Chicken but otherwise the food is great!

I have been coming here since before I could drive. I am now in my 60s. Everyone is kind and willing to help me because Im disabled. The prices are more than reasonable. I have recently introduced my friends to this wonderful establishment. Try it. You wont be disappointed.

Hong Kong is the best! My family and I come for every birthday, anniversary, family celebration. We feed our family of 12 for bout $90 (family-style) and usually come home with at least 1 take home box. The owner and waitresses always greet us with smiles and giggle when we place our order, cause its always the same. Food served is traditional and yummy. Always made fresh to order, full plates served, fair priced, lots of options, and comfortable & relaxed environment. We see many regular customers pickup orders as we have dinner there, definitely a favorite local spot. I definitely recommend if you love chinese food.

Best Chinese food i ever ate hands down. Really great customer service, family owned. When me and my girlfriend go they know us so well we dont even need a menu they know exactly what we want. I order chicken chow mein and pork fried rice. She orders pork chow mein and chicken fried rice, which is the exact opposite. My family really loves this place we usually have family lunch there on birthdays and what not. I repeat best Chinese i ever ate and Im a chef.

The food is always good never any complaints about that. However the time management is not their strong suit. I call in every time maybe once a month or so for the last 15 yrs.
