The best Chinese food in Hayward, but little to no atmosphere in the restaurant. But hey, who cares when the food is that good! Our favorites: the honey walnut shrimps, lemon chicken, Singapore fried noodles, and all the beef dishes. We have been coming here for many many years, and they still have the same owners. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

They were amazing. From the jump, we walked in and we sat ourselves. Immediately after a lady with tea came which was perfect. Cause it was cold. I had a bigger appetite then my boyfriend so I was being picky with what I wanted but the family dinner for two was perfect came with a big bowl of soup and appetizer first and they served it to you, was beautiful. Very attentive service. When the food came I was surprised cause I though about ordering more appetizer cause it only had 4 potsticker and soup but the big bowl if soup was also a surprise! 🤗so when our food came a good build up was created and it was worth it. Quiet, typical decor but food authentic with the cultural experience to balance. Will definitely be going back, no doubt and to top bill wasnt about 30 bucks with plenty of leftover to take home.

Cantonese food is okay. Typical greasy hole in the wall Chinese food. Dry fried beef noodle was greasy but palatable and cheap. If you’re here get the steamed flatfish which isn’t on the menu for $19. Not a place I’d go out of the way to visit again.

Full disclosure: only accompanied my neighbor to pick up dinner from here, but her recommendation has always hit the mark. Her food was plentiful, freshly cooked, and ready within (5) minutes! Im 100% sure I will place an order when Im craving Chinese food, especially fried chicken wings!

One of the best Chinese restaurants ! I have been coming here since at least 2003. Love the vegetable soup on cold days. Everything on the menu is great to eat and the best part is that you receive two complimentary sodas

Good food. Terrible service. One of the servers argued with me for 5 minutes because I asked for a second tea bag for my teapot.. Though I was willing to pay, she couldnt wrap her mind around doing something different.Another time I had a huge order, $70 worth, and they got it all wrong. I returned 10 minutes later after I looked in the bag and they argued with me for 15 minutes about a refund.

I order food to be delivered from Hong Kong Restaurant what I thought would be enough food to feed 5 people. when the food as delivered it was not enough food for 5 people as the portions were very small and grossly overpriced. Hong Kong Restaurant is ripping people off by serving small portion for high price. I should have stayed with my favorite restaurant - Yummy Restaurant as they give lots of food and is NOT grossly overpriced like Hong Kong Restaurant, save your money! the picture shows the amount of food I paid for $80.00. NEVER going back to this place again!!!

This place used to be good until now. I ordered food for a family of 4 people. I ordered the Honey Walnut Prawns and they literally just gave me 3 small shrimps each for 4 people. There portions used to be good, now they only serve small portions and not really enough for 4 people. I called them to complain about my portion size but they didn’t really seem to care by saying “well I don’t know what a family size is “ …..Really??? The management here has definitely changed. Not gonna be ordering from this site anymore.

This place is dying, 3 weeks ago I ordered 2 hot and sour soups for $15.60. today I ordered 2 hot and sour soups I was charged $20.20. same portion different price, I will not go back anymore !!We went to the Greenhouse in Hayward, the same dishonored restaurant, in the end, they closed the business.

Horrible customer service!!!!! I ordered for delivery and my soup was spilled all over my food. I told the delivery person about it and they ignored me. I decided not to give them tip. So when I go to sign the receipt I just put my total. The delivery person kept insisting that I give her some money!!!!!!! I literally had to shut my door because she wouldn’t leave. I called the restaurant and told the person in charge of what had happened and all she could say was that the soup is too hot that they try their best with packaging!!! She offered me another soup to to be delivered but she stated, do not touch anything until I get there. Like the whole point of me ordering food is that my family and I to eat!!!! She also told me to simply say no to the delivery person about the tip! Of which I did! I told her she needed to speak to her employees because that’s just not right! But she also simply ignored what i was telling her. It was very hard to speak to her!

We were a small group of 6 or 7. So many things are very bad.For starter, the green tea they gave us was cold and the water they used has a strong taste.I ordered a shrimp plate and it was ok but the quantity was low. I ordered shrimp wonton soup that had 2 shrimps and ton of pork belly and cabbage, and had no taste.My wife and friends all ordered seafood dishes and all had complaints.The place in general is dirty and the bathrooms are very bad.The staff is very rude, even when we asked for water, rudely replied to me the waiter: 1 second while shouting at me.I am sorry for the negative review, but its what we saw here.I hope the owners do something about what I mentioned here.

Our friends and us, we were 7. We came to this restaurant to enjoy a nice seafood meal and it was based on the 4 stars review on yelp. None of us liked his food. The plates have few seafood and lots of sauces and vegetables. The place was so dirty and needs a lot of upgrade. There was no A/C and it was really hot. Overall experience, we really hate it here and never coming back again.

The food is great for the price! What else do you need? The service? Excellent, the owner always remembers people faces and orders. Ive been ordering here for the longest time from deliveries to sit in dining and everything was great. Honey walnut prawns are delicious and the mongolian beef is made just right. Give this place a try for good food and great service.

I just googled nice restaurants and it popped up. We were not disappointed. It was the perfect second date for us. The restaurant is deceptively large, with its multiple rooms. The upper tier was loud with conversation, so we opted for the thruway. The staff is friendly, even familiar while maintaining a classy balance of formality. It is in a surprisingly hip part of town, too. Who would have thought? I mean, Hayward?

I came in & the lady at the front greeted me promptly. I had never be there before so I had to look over the menu, so when I ordered she told me everything was made fresh. I had shrimp with veggies & Kung Pao chicken. I thought the veggies were cooked perfectly & the flavor was great! Love it cause its close & very healthy, I will be coming back for more!

Ever since, I was a little, I was brought to this restaurant to enjoy family dinner times and family celebrations for many years! I highly recommend this restaurant! I know the owner for quite some time! The food quality is extremely good! Great customer service, nice environment, nice people! Its perfect! The food is so good! Just have to come and try it out!

Got sweet and sour chicken and it was super dry. Like its been there all day and just sitting under lamps. It was just not good. My husbands shrimp fried rice wasnt great either. For a pregnant women who was having a craving this was very disappointing.

Whoever gave this place ANY stars?I dont know where to start. Place is filthy. Silverware was dirty before we eat. Green tea was essentially green cold water. Seafood place!?!?!? I dont know where the seafood is in the food. Food tasted really bad!!!! We came to this place based on the Four Star reviews and unfortunately it does deserve some stars: ZERO.

First time coming here. My Wife went & decided what we would have for dinner. She ordered Sweet & Sour Shrimp, Shrimp w/mixed vegetables (mostly shrimp& Broccoli), Kung Pao Shrimp, chicken Chow mein & 5 chicken egg rolls. She calls me after She leaves & is not happy containers are small & it cost $50.00! She comes Home & I see all these Shrimp dishes I said well You did get Lots of Shrimp. All Very good. BUT, if You want the same maybe not so much Shrimp go to Sisi Hong Kong in San Lorenzo. Very good maybe a bit bigger portion & less on the price. But since this is on Her way Home from work & Bbq Hawaiian was closed Might go here again. Try some other items. What we get at Sisi. Sweet & Sour Fish, Other items we get at Sisis they dont have. I want to try seafood Crispy noodles w/tender greens & their tomato beef chow mein. They do Salt & Pepper dishes but, not eggplant. Time will see what we get next time!😋

Honey walnut prawns were good, shrimp chow mein was good, but the orange chicken was not good..No flavor, dry, not enough sauce and not crispy like most orange chicken...Recap... They were super super nice.. I called them and they let me exchange the Orange chicken for something else...so in that case I would say, very good customer service

Best burger I recommend taking either mama burger or 2 baby burgers but never papa burger. Also, they have good milkshakes. U can share it with another person they give u one glass and the same amount in the steel blender too for free in. You can ask for another glass if u r sharing

Ive eaten here a few times. The food has mostly been ok and sometimes like today not ok.I ordered chicken chow mein. But the chicken has such an off taste I cant eat it.I dont mean off as in spoiled. My guess is that because its a seafood restaurant, they cook it in the same pans as seafood, and it smothers the chicken in seafood flavor (I HATE seafood). Or maybe its something else. But it has just a horrible taste and Im throwing it out.There are better Chinese restaurants all over nearby.My favorites are both at Foothill and A, Sunflower 2 and Chefs Experience. Tin Fu on Harder is decent.

My three star rating is based on their Peking Duck, which was absolutely delicious! It is a whole roasted duck with steamed buns and hoisin sauce on the side. I also had their honey walnut prawns and shrimp fried rice that of which I give 1 star because Tin Fu restaurant on Harder in Hayward sets the bar really high for those dishes. I will definitely go back for their duck though!
