2023-01-09 23:24:35Good neighborhood spot.Food was good but maybe a bit greasy. Our Waiter was especially not helpful.Asking for a recommendation or some help between two dishes and he would just be abrupt and tell us to look at the chefs recommendation.

2022-12-13 22:40:04Ordered the lobster and it did not disappoint. They brought one out for our inspection before preparing it, the whole nine yards. Free tea and large portions on the other dishes as well.Valet made parking seamless

2023-12-04 17:25:56The food was absolutely below average. The duck wasn’t even cut properly. The soup was neither hot not sour. I don’t recommend this place. Panda Express is better.

2023-10-21 00:55:24Hop Li is my familys go-to spot, especially for large gatherings. We recently celebrated my Moms 80th birthday banquet there and everything was on point. Weve also had a couple Chinese New Year family get togethers as well. In all my experiences there, the staff was attentive and helpful. When we pre-ordered my Moms banquet-style dinner, I was getting hungry, so I ordered some to-go items and they were fantastic (tomato beef chow mein with crispy noodles and a crispy chicken dish).

2023-09-06 16:00:07Food was good. The waiter brought everything we asked but it definitely wasnt service with a smile. All business up in here. Love that they bring you crispy wonton wrappers on request. Would go back.

2018-05-30 22:29:09Short review: We got 3 items ($13 each). We both thought the Chinese food was pretty good. They overcharge for soft drinks ($4.50).Long Review: We got Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Orange Peel Chicken and King Pao Chicken (Pictures). I enjoyed all the items. The soft drinks were $4.50 each, which in my opinion is overpriced for just a coke. The staff was really friendly and the interior is nice as well.

2023-08-04 20:33:11I was a loyal customer for more than 25 years...If previously the prices in the restaurant were moderate, which attracted many customers, now everything has become significantly more expensive... The food and service are still of good quality, however, the toilets and the pathway to them are in poor condition and not properly maintained, which causes disgust and raises suspicions about the cleanliness of the kitchen.

2023-06-20 05:32:46We ordered shrimp with green beans in black bean sauce. The shrimp had ammonia scent with slippery soggy texture. It was definitely spoiled masked by the over grilling and heavy sauce. It did not taste like the sea.Aside from mediocre service, the food was not fresh. Afterward, I was very concerned if we got food poisoning.Seafood was not FRESH.Parking can get limited. It is West LA.
