This place BLEW away all expectations. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is wonderful, the beer variety is large and delicious, and the service may be the best I’ve ever experienced! This is a small business everyone needs to support!

Great atmosphere and selection! Rotating beer section - weekly! Many options including cider and hard Kombucha. Good menu for a beer garden - snacks, meals, and some sweet treats. This is my favorite drink spot in Vallejo! Kat is a staple and really makes you feel welcome :)

Based on our experience, and other customers visiting at same time, they were sold out of the beer and food the person in front of us wanted to order, and out of the beer i wanted to try. The lady taking orders kept having to ask the cook if they were out of other food we tried to order. Also, we sat outside because the dining room was full, and the people who ordered after us did also. They asked for a patio heater to be turned on since it was cold and windy but were informed the heaters were all out of propane. So all in all, i feel like they werent very prepared as a business in general.

Backyard brewery. They have several beers on tap, cans and bottles so lots to choose from. They serve several options from snacks to meals. The deck seating is so relaxing and so homey. Great place to wind down.

We can’t wait until Thursday night when Hopulent is open again. Their food is made with love and their beer is poured with Kat’s knowledge and attention to detail. Where else are you going to find delicious Mac-n-cheese and sumptuous ribs to go with a perfect beer?They have a dozen draft and oodles of cans of beers. Looking for something else? They provide a clever collection of kombucha, sours and other tasty drinks.The food is handmade with Dave’s famous burgers featured Thursday-only and we don’t miss that night for sure. A half pound beef, beef/pork mix or waygu beef is featured each week and is always a yummy surprise.I am wheelchair bound and it works there! Come by and say hello but we won’t shake hands - our food will be served. Photos coming soon!

Excellent spot hidden on Tennessee St. They have an enormous selection of beer, cider and kombucha and the food we had was excellent. (Cans are also available to-go) I highly recommend the Chicken Shepards Pie. They also have a back patio that makes for a nice spot to relax at night. And to top it off the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. If you need a break from quarantine monotony, grab a beer and relax here!

Mac and cheese is insanely good. Fried chicken sandwich is just as good. Food is so slow, cause everything is cooked from scratch, but well worth the wait. The outdoor dining deck is pretty home spun, DIY urban, but comfortable and not bothered by excessive traffic noise. Service is great and pricing, is reasonable. The Mac and cheese makes a great side for 2 or 3 people. The sandwiches are generpus. The fries are heavenly, hot, salted, golden brown delicious.

We really enjoyed dinner and drinks at this charming little restaurant on Tennessee St. Sat outside on their deck and enjoyed the breeze on a hot day. They specialize in mac & cheese and our pesto M&C was absolutely delish. My pulled pork sandwich was pure comfort food and yummy. They have a great beer menu, lots to choose from. The staff was friendly and helpful. Give it a try - I think you’ll be glad you did.

Weve come here a couple of times to pick up beer and its been great. They have a pretty large selection of craft beer to go in cans and as growler fills (which is unfortunately rare in Vallejo). They are always very friendly and helpful and the restaurant has been remodeled nicely.

The food is great. Menu is limited but I am sure they will expand that as time goes by. Lots and lots of beers! Outside deck and sidewalk seating. Children welcome and masks are required. No indoor seating right now. The staff is friendly but Friday they were overworked. Great place and people. Nice for the neighborhood. Lots of street parking.

As for food, hands down tastiest Mac and Cheese you will ever have which includes various options for that Mac. Other food options are incredibly scrumptious as well so feel free to experiment . We saw the open sign last weekend and decided to check out this new place we had been hearing about. While I placed our food order (a bahn mi sandwich and the Classic Mac & Cheese with jalapeños and bacon!), my husband ran back home to pick up our growler. (Right now, beer on tap is BYOG, and food and beer are take-out only.) They have an impressive selection craft beers on tap, as well as cider and kombucha. The food was delicious! We am now eagerly looking forward to the time when we can enjoy our food and drink sitting out back in their cozy patio/garden area. David and Kat (a brother and sister team) are truly delightful people and it is quite obvious that Hopulent is a labor of love for them. Let’s help keep them in Vallejo!
