Delicious food, reasonable prices, and incredibly friendly service. Theyre always especially kind to my two young children. Very easy to find good vegetarian or pescatarian options.

Very nice clean food where you can choose your protein for your sauce. (It makes it very easy to sub in tofu if you are looking for meatless like me.) Also has outdoor seating where Ive seen people with their dogs. Wear a jacket since its usually chilly for airflow reasons.

I was in San Carlos, my friend and I was looking for a Chinese restaurant and glad I found this restaurant. It was not yet crowded when we came but we were greeted and seated. I think this is the same restaurant as the one in Burlingame. I ordered the Tan Tan Noodles and my friend ordered his favorite orange chicken. Ordered pot stickers as well. Servings are huge so I saved some for the lunch tomorrow.

Went for lunch on a weekday... My Orange Chicken was chewy, dry - overcooked and the whole dish was bland. My guest had the pork noodle dish- also very bland. To top it off, my server and I had difficulty communicating. The place was clean and staff was attentive, but dont think Ill be back.

We’ve eaten here twice now and love the food, the friendly service, and the reasonable prices!! Try the beef stew and the light stir fry - fresh vegetables, delicious flavor. The family that owns this place are so kind and welcoming, always make us feel at home! This will become a regular spot for us.

Much better than other area Chinese eateries in this area. The place is clean and pleasant. The menu is clear and straight forward. Vegetables were fresh and the dishes were well prepared. Soring rolls crunchy and tasty.Hot and sour soup was well balanced. Service really nice.It was just a cold night and it wasa bit drafty so we had our winter coats on while eating. But they turned the heater on right before we were leaving.

Best and most reasonably priced Chinese food in San Carlos. Don’t eat at the overpriced places on the North side of Laurel street.. instead go here for their 8 dollar lunch special. Worth it!!

The lady owner is wonderful and gracious host, the males still need a little work in this area. The food here is fresher and taste better then the Burlingame location.I was repeatedly asked when I came in, To go? To go? To go? Pick up? Pick up? To go? To go?.. Disturbingly affordable (how do they pay rent? value your product!), yummy, cute decor, smells good. The music was a little bizarre - everything from Disney songs to country to Christmas music - but that was almost charming. The hot and sour soup has a lot of pepper in it.

Today: 2/13/2021 I order that “orange chicken”. I eat Chicken almost daily and I now how chicken tastes like. I don’t know what meat that was mixed with that Orange flavor mix. This is why i don’t like Ordering meats covered with sauces or breaded. Because lots of restaurant owners use their worse meets just for this recipe. I am definitely not coming back to this restaurant. And i will definitely will not recommend it to anyone. In the contrary.

One of my favorite chinese spots, its really hard finding a good chinese restaurant. The owner is super sweet and I think her children help run the business and they were all very attentive. Quality of the good is delicious and a really great portion. My favorite is their lunch special and their wonton soup 😋

The best Chinese food Ive had in Redwood/Carlos area. Ive tried most dishes, and yet to find any that arent exceptional, but Tan Tan and anything Black Bean are a must, and always healthy portions. The owner Joyce and the crew are the nicest people, who deserve community support, especially now for takeout or delivery.

Wasnt a fan of the food. I think this is one of those places you just have to order the right thing, and I definitely did not. I tried to play it safe and get the orange chicken it was way too sweet, maybe this is something that someone else would like but it was too orangey. Potstickers were just okay, spring rolls were actually pretty decent. Id get the spring rolls again but not the orange chicken. The chow mein looked pretty good.

The food was delicious. We ordered mu shu with lettuce wrap, hot and sour soup and honey walnut shrimp. I would eat the honey walnut shrimp every day. All was adapted gluten free. Yum.

Stopped in for dinner while on a business trip and loved the food. I had the Kung Pao Stir Fry and it was a really nice change of pace from straight Kung Pao. Lots of vegetables and not as many peanuts. Simply delicious. I started with the Crab Rangoon which were nice and crispy and had plenty of filling, with a wrapper that wasnt too thin or too thick. Just right!
