Went on a Sunday night, fast service, not too busy.We tried the fried egg rolls, the rice noodle house combo, and chicken fried rice.The egg rolls were really good, crispy and very tasty.The soup itself and the noodles were good, the shrimp also good, but the chicken and the octopus were very though. Next time Ill try the thinly cut types of beef.The fried rice with chicken was very good, the chicken had a slight char taste

I visited this place recently, and it was gross. The restaurant itself on Sunday felt dirty. The table was not clean and was sticky. The floor had napkins and other small garbage on it. The restaurant itself felt run down. My pho was not good. Broth was clear, and it had no meat. They literally gave my meat scraps. Prefer other location of this chain.

Went there for Pho, ended up getting the Chow Fun special. Very good with lots of seafood. Also had Vietnamese egg rolls that were very good. Large portion size, very fast service, friendly staff.

Went for a Sunday lunch and had a waiting time of about 10 minutes. The place has nice ambience but the food is average. There are better pho places than this. The service was quite slow but then it was a busy day with packed house. The 3 color red bean drink was awesome but Thai iced coffee was disappointing. Overall a good place to visit once.

Over all 5 stars! Beautiful clean restaurant, fast service. In my daughters very own words this place is faster than fast food! Ordered a #3 pho regular, and spring rolls. Pho broth is out of this world good. No need for soy sauce or chili. Its that good! Definitely coming back.

An amazing and professional service, accompanied with delicious and fresh quality food. I read some negative reviews and saw the pictures they posted and the food they complained about looks amazing, I have had many different items from their menu and im telling you this place is consistent, fresh and amazing all the time. The are deceitful. I checked online and the chicken noodle soup was priced at $6,99. I ordered via call to pick up. The owner charge me $15,9 when I get there. I asked her why if online is leas that half. She tells me not to worry. It was an old menu. I check her current menu at the counter and the dish was priced at $14.5. I am not going there again.

I had a wonderful experience at House of Phở1, a cozy and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious and fresh. I ordered the Pho came out very fast and had a generous portion of tender and flavorful meat, and a rich and aromatic broth. The egg rolls were crispy, delicious and hot. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food, and the portions are generous. We had a poor experience and poor quality food and I dont recommend others to come.The meal started when it took forever to get the attention of the staff. While we waited, the bathroom was dirty and lacked soap (or the dispenser didnt work for me). How can a restaurant nowadays not have soap available to its patrons?I got a rice noodle dish that lacked flavor. The staff skimped on extras like only two napkins. And to ask for more napkins was impossible because the staff where nowhere to be found.I will look for another place to eat in the future.

Went here with some mates. The vegetarian pho was a blessing as one of our friends eats Halal, so it isnt always easy finding a place where we can eat together.Egg rolls are worth a try! Our group loved the refreshing veggies combined with nice filling egg.

I have eaten at other House of Pho’s in San Jose and the one thing that is always consistent is the fast service and food is always delicious. This was my first time at the Sunnyvale restaurant and it has plenty of parking, and the restaurant is a good size and spacious. Lots of space between the tables. Our order was taken and we were served in a timely manner. I will be back.

Ive been putting this off in hopes of change. Ive been coming to this location for over 10 years and it has been going downhill more and more every year. It use to be my go to once or twice a week, so it pains me to leave this review.When you dine in the food is great. Service is not great. The waitresses are unwelcoming and always behind the counter on their phones. They will only come to your table to drop off menus, take your order, and if you ordered a beverage its not coming till your food comes. Yet they expect a tip...Theyre probably family members who are guaranteed the position so they dont put forth any effort or concern with diners.The food is good IF you are dining in. If you are getting it delivered be prepared for scraps. Literally. For a bowl of pho they will give you old meat that smells off and is tough, a bowl of broken noodles that are all less than an inch long, old bean sprout. All of this stuff seems to be from the day before. Maybe its to save money, but they need to stop doing this. Theyre going to get someone sick one day. The first time this happened I thought it was just a mistake, but no. After about 8 delivery orders I now realize that they serve the freshest stuff to the inhouse diners and give the leftovers to pickup and delivery customers. Theyve even taken the mint out of the spring rolls.I really wish they would up their standards again as they have greatly slipped.😮‍💨😓

Decent spot for takeout! The Com Bo Luc Lac was pretty flavorful, lots of sauce too. Juicy! The meat-to-rice ratio was a bit off. So much tomato rice! Not enough filet mignon. For $14.50, its a bit pricey for the portions. However, the quality of the food was great. Overall, I would get this again. Just wish there was more beef for the price.

First of all, this pho restaurant is open for dine in, so we decided to dine in for lunch.Soon we noticed there is no customer service when walk in to restaurant. All waitress speak Vietnamese and did not bother to greet us.When ordering dish, waitress look at you impolitely and made us very uncomfortable. All wait staffs act busy for themself and speak out loud in Vietnamese throughout whole restaurant.The spring rolls are so thin, looks like it was shrink half size. The beef and chicken pho taste salty, less meat slices compared to other pho restaurant. I had to drink a lot of water after meal.I would not recommend coming here again due to poor or no service and quality of food is below average.

I’m a huge fan of pho, and have had it everywhere in the Bay Area and North America. I will say this is probably the best place in the Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, and Cupertino area.Broth is pretty good, and there’s a good quantity of meats. They have hanh danm(sliced onion) which is always an indication of authenticity. However, they don’t have Vietnamese cilantro.Get the special pho was steak on the side and the sliced onion. You won’t be disappointed. It’s just ever so slightly not quite as good as say, pho ao san in Oakland or some of the places in east San Jose — both of which are wayyyyy too far for me.

The Vegetarian pho is outstanding, with a big variety of veggies, plus wonderful veg wontons on top -- a unique & very nice signature touch.Staff are considerate, particularly the older female hostess at the register.Atmosphere is that of a former Japanese restaurant, so lots of wood, booths & a koi pool! I just went in to order take out and as soon as I walked in the lady at the counter told me they were closed. I said I thought you closed at 9 and she said no orders after 845 even for take out. I got back in my car to see that it was only 840. I almost mentioned the time except with service like that Im sure theyd do something to my food! I was so excited to eat there. Rude girl with highlighted hair. I told her that I had a pick up order and she didnt understand me and blamed it on me. Used to come here often but now no. Get your attitude checked. Tuesday 6pm -- sat right down and got my food very quickly. Generous portions and a simple menu. I was impressed with how fast they got five noodle soups out for our party. After I ordered, I went to the restroom and by the time I returned, they were serving the soup!There are two unisex bathrooms and I thought they were generally clean and not too cramped -- at least the one I went into.The only thing is that the layout is prone to get clogged by the cash register. When our party of five went up to pay, it seemed to block out people being seated -- and this was a slow Tuesday.

Flavors are so rich and comforting. Just tried the #16 with no noodles but with veggies instead and I was very very pleased. The spiciness was not over powering and did have some heat but just enough to make you go back for more!I went in recently with a party of 10 and they were very accommodating and didnt automatically add a surcharge for parties bigger than 5 like some local restaurants are doing. I want to tip you because of your services and food quality not because its a rule. As a consumer I appreciate that!No pictures because we just dug into our meal! My family and my sisters family used to come here every Friday night. The food is okay but the service is extremely poor. They get really pissed that we walk in around 8:20pm. They rushed you to order within 10 minutes and said their kitchen closed at 8:3O. Their closing time is 9pm. Waitress is rude and she rolled her eyes if you ask for more bean sprouts or water. It got to the point that they started to ask us to wrap up at pay at 8:45pm. As soon as we are done paying they swamped the table can taking away bowl if you are not actively eating. We are frequent customer. We like pho restaurant simply because its easy and fast. Their food is okay not the best. The meat are a bit thin and mostly bones for grill pork. Main complains are the chopstick and spoons are a bit filthy. Stop going there because the service staff are so rude. We take our group of 9 people else where every Friday now. Maybe some other restaurant may like to take our the business and treat us better.. There are many options when it come to Vietnamese food. Too bad.

Went to eat today with family. Restaurant was pretty empty. Servers keep talking between them, acknowlenge us after a while. We got water glass dirty. After drinking a sip of water I noticed the cup was dirty with lipstick. Yuck, very discusting!! to say the very least. My food got hair and an unknown of burn piece in my food. I dont expect to go back and encourage everyone to think twice if you want to visit this restaurant.

Over charged us for a dish we didnt order. Been a long time patron but finally got cheated just because we had a bit more people in my group. My advice is check your bill before you pay. That was what I did and found out the overcharge. Hey, people do keep track with orders and know how to count! The cashier didnt even apologize so I suspected it was done on purpose. I really despise dishonest business practice. So no tips for them.Besides, the seafood noodle tasted bland with no much seafood in it. I will be looking for another pho place as there are so many in the bay area. They just lost a long term customer!

Id say the Pho is above average, just not spectacular. But its super fast, you get your food within 5 minutes after youve ordered. Good selection of other Vietnamese staples too, including Bun Bo Hue and vermicelli. Their dessert drinks are legit too, very traditionally Viet. Would highly recommend the avocado smoothie!

This is a great place for lunch. Prices are cheap, and the food comes out very fast. I usually get either Pho or the rice noodle bowl, and the meat that comes with either one is spectacular.Theres a dedicated parking lot and Ive always been able to find parking, even at the height of lunch rush.

My go-to pho restaurant. Great broth that doesnt taste overly greasy and lots of toppings. I always get the egg rolls here because I have found other places to be as good. They have some very good vermicelli and rice plate options as well for those days that you dont feel like having a big bowl of soup. Service is on par with other similarly classed restaurants, meaning dont expect 5-star service. There are always customers when we go, but not usually a long wait.

Not so good. Soup was hot but the noodle still stick together, probably it was not hot soaked well enough to make the noodle string stay individual before pouring the broth. No culantro leaves was in the vegies. Broth does not have much of good boiled bones flavor. Steak was alright, look like it was defrost not long before serve.Typical Pho in US. Aside from the delicious pho, House of Pho provides many other Vietnamese dishes that includes noodles and rice plates.The pho here is perfect; the flavoring is all right with the broth not being too salty. A nice pho place in the area. There arent many pho places around so we decided to go to this one. The restaurant is fairly new according to friends and was clean. The restaurant had two TVs playing the nba playoffs which was a plus for me. Service was quick when we ordered even though the restaurant was completely packed. I got the spring rolls and number 2 which was pho with the beef combination. The broth was tasty and the extra ingredients tasted very fresh. I would probably come again.
